  • IoT paradigm which makes a information without direct intervention of a human and interworks with other objects, humans and systems is attracting attention. It will be expected the number of smart devices equipped with sensors and wireless communication capabilities is reached to about 260 billion by 2020. With the vast amount of sending data generated from rapidly increasing number of smart devices, it will bring up the traffic growth over internet and congestion in wireless networks. In this paper, we utilize the smart device as a sink node to collect and forward the sensing data periodically in IoT and propose a heuristic algorithm for a selection of sink nodes' set with each sink node satisfies the QoS its applications because a selection of optimal sink nodes' set is NP-hard problem. The complexity of proposed heuristic algorithm is $O(m^3)$ and faster than the optimal algorithm.

  • Developmental disorders are impairments of brain and/or central nervous system and refer to a disorder of brain function that affects languages, communication skills, perception, sociality and so on. In diagnosis of developmental disorders, behavioral response such as expressing emotions in proper situation is one of observable indicators that tells whether or not individual has the disorders. However, diagnosis by observation can allow subjective evaluation that leads erroneous conclusion. This research presents the technological environment and data acquisition system for AI based screening of autism disorder. The environment was built considering activities for two screening protocols, namely Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Behavior Development Screening for Toddler (BeDevel). The activities between therapist and baby during the screening are fully recorded. The proposed software in this research was designed to support recording, monitoring and data tagging for learning AI algorithms.

  • In the creative problem solving processes, the core was to generate unique and various ideas. Thus, an assumption reversal thinking skill needed to be considered as a concrete method that could help students who have difficulties with generating ideas. In this study, we applied the assumption reversal thinking skill to university students and explored the characteristics of the idea generation process. On the basis of the results, we found that the assumption reversal thinking skill helped students generate new ideas, inducing their perspective changes. Therefore, we could ascertain the possibilities of the assumption reversal thinking skill as a thinking frame supporting students' idea generation. However, there is a need to develop methods for students to exclude prejudice by theoretical judgment, intervention of the value, and experience for fostering more effective assumption reversal thinking. Also, ways should be considered so that students would be able to cultivate task commitment and courage of implementing new ideas, bearing criticism from others.

  • Keyword searching used in the past as a method of finding similar patents, and automated classification by machine learning is using in recently. Keyword searching is a method of analyzing data that is formalized through data refinement. While the accuracy for short text is high, long one consisted of several words like as document that is not able to analyze the meaning contained in sentences. In semantic analysis level, the method of automatic classification is used to classify sentences composed of several words by unstructured data analysis. There was an attempt to find similar documents by combining the two methods. However, it have a problem in the algorithm w the methods of analysis are different ways to use simultaneous unstructured data and regular data. In this paper, we study the method of extracting keywords implied in the document and using the LDA(Latent Semantic Analysis) method to classify documents efficiently without human intervention and finding similar patents.

  • The purpose of this article is to investigate how returning veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) develop psycho-social issues and describe how helping professionals can assist them with re-adapting to the community. Based on a literature review, the author explores the causes of psycho-social issues of returning veterans with PTSD, reviews various ways of helping, and proposes critical factors that helping professionals should be aware of when intervening in psycho-social issues of returning veterans with PTSD. It is found that psycho-social issues of returning veterans with PTSD are closely related to their distrust and aversion to authorities. Group therapy can be used as a viable intervention for alleviating PTSD symptoms and derived psycho-social issues in terms that veterans with PTSD tend to more open with other group members who can share and understand unique experiences.

  • This study aims to provide evidence for supporting the families of people in prison, through understanding their families who have suffered for their imprisonment This research was conducted with seven family members with their spouse, son or daughter, or sibling in prison. The Giorigi's approach of analysis for the phenomenological qualitative research was used to explore the essence of the experiences of prisoners' families. This qualitative research drew five components on the basis of the experiences of prisoners' families : 'Living with the bridle named as the family of a prisoner', 'The pain having to hide from the public', 'Having ambivalence', and 'condemn the sin, but no the sinner', 'Picking oneself up'. The essential subjection of their experiences was interpreted into 'Face life, , with being under a yoke'. The findings suggest that the practical intervention of social welfare is needed to support the psychological, emotional, and social recovery of the prisoners' families.

  • This research aims to understand in depth and contextually of the grandchildren 's growth with their grandparents. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with observation and documents and analyzed using life history approach. The life history method was based on Mandelbaum(1973)'s framework including 'life dimensions', 'turning points', and 'adaptations'. After the analysis, central themes in each domain emerge as follows; 'social prejudice', 'growing poverty', 'a painstaking smile', 'more polite and honest', and 'being alone' in life dimensions, 'parentless children', 'a painful memory, outcast', and 'going to college' in turning points, and 'a willing person, parents', 'a blessed person', 'self-reliance and scale of economic life', and 'diligence and inborn cheerfulness' in adaptations, respectively. Based on these results, several intervention strategies and implications for healthy growth of grandchildren.

  • Driving after drinking is highly likely to cause accidents due to lack of responsibility and poor judgment. South Korea is seeking a sentence for accidental drinking accidents. The suspended jail term for drunk drivers accounts for more than 70 percent of the total. However, those who come to the probation office during the probation period are involuntary, subject to little motivation for change, and the large-scale, collective, and short-term education offered to them is limited in preventing re-off. In addition to small group and long-term education, we conducted intensive short-term interventions to see changes in drinking habits in three months. In the long run, the effectiveness of drinking control will be demonsstrated, making a difference in improving the programs offered to drunk drivers in the future. Drunk driving accouts for a very high percentage of the causes of traffic accidents, which, like many countries around the world, should make efforts to prevent and punish drunk driving.

  • Death and the Maiden(1990), by the Chilean playwright Ariel Dorfman, directly addresses the issue of liquidating the past that the transient democratic government of Patricio Aylwin faced, the government established right after the end of the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. This article focuses on analyzing the aspects of conflicts and discords between memories of individuals as reflected in the conversations between characters of the play. For example. we look into the effects of traumatic memories of Paulina, tortured and raped by the past government, on her everyday life and examine the relationship between her personal memory and the collective memory. We also look into the discourse of the dominating memory through the confession of the rapist doctor Roberto, and observe how Gerardo, a lawyer appointed as a member of the investigation committee, exposes the truth of the case and mediates the conflict of the memories between the two characters. We uncover the problems inherent in the state memory as it tries to intervene in the strife in memories between assailants and victims and explore the possibility that the concept of memory deterritorialization would be an alternative to overcome these problems.

  • This study attempted to reveal the essential meaning of happy life for non-disabled children with disabled parents through a phenomenological research method for non-disabled children with disabled parents using welfare centers. As a result, 76 meaningful statements related to a happy life, eight categories of 20 topics have been drawn up, and the essential meaning of a happy life for a child is 'a happy life for parents', 'a life where parents are recognized' and 'a life where parents are no different from other families,' and 'a life where a child is living happily' as an 'economically stable life' and 'a life with disabilities' As such, I believe that since this period is important for children, there is a pressing need for ways to intervene and improve awareness of the disabled and the role of life.
