Drawing Elements of Inquiry in Field Geology and Analyzing Field Geology Education in Previous Studies (야외 지질학 탐구 요소 추출 및 지질 답사 교육 문헌 분석)

  • This study is a research synthesis analyzing how field geology education is conducted in domestic and foreign countries in the recent 20 years and how it reflects the characteristics of authentic geologic inquiry. For these purposes, we first drew five elements of inquiry in field geology (observation, representation, abductive reasoning, spatial thinking, and diachronic thinking) considering the field geologists' actual research method as well as its pedagogical significance in science education. We developed analysis criteria for field geology education. The 53 cases were analyzed based on each element of inquiry in field geology and its sub-elements, and also the tendency of overall elements. As a result, observation and representation were included in most cases, but there appeared less frequency in order of abductive reasoning, spatial thinking, and diachronic thinking. For observation, the ratio of purposive observation and autonomous observation is high. For representation, both visualizing and linguistic type of representation and free-form representation appear frequently. For abductive reasoning, the step of generating hypothesis is often included and the hypothesis tends to be about the geological formatting process. For spatial thinking, type of self-location and perception of the spatial configuration of the structure appear at a high rate. For diachronic thinking, type of stratigraphic sequence is the most frequent. The proportions of the cases including three or more elements of inquiry in field geology consist 87% of the total. We suggested implications for improving geological fieldwork as authentic science inquiry in the future.

Differences in attributional bias and irrational gambling beliefs between gamblers and non-gamblers (귀인양식과 귀인편향, 비합리적 도박신념에서의 차이: 도박자와 비도박자의 비교)

  • The aims of this study were 1) to compare irrational gambling beliefs of gamblers and non-gamblers, 2) to investigate the role of cognitive error on winning probability thinking error, and 3) to examine the relationship between attributional bias and gambling behavior. A total of 248 subjects were recruited for this study. All subjects were classified into non-gamblers, social gamblers and pathological gamblers, and administered self-report questionnaires to measure irrational gambling beliefs, the probability inference error, the attriburional style, and the attributional bias. A pathological gambler group scored highest on irrational gambling beliefs, especially the overestimation of self-ability factor, and a social gambler group and a non-gambler group follow. All three groups scored higher on the magnification of gambling skills than the mean (4.0) of the scale. Pathological gamblers and social gamblers scored higher on the probability thinking error than non-gamblers. Pathological gamblers displayed higher external attribution, lower internal attribution in their daily life events and higher internal attribution in failure situation than social gamblers and non-gamblers. The results indicate that cognitive errors would be a factor that differentiates pathological gamblers from social gamblers and non-gamblers. In predicting gambling behaviors, overestimation of self-ability of irrational gambling beliefs, internal attribution in failure situation, external attribution in daily live event, and probability thinking error were identified as significant factors. It is concluded that a public education about common cognitive bias featured in gamblers might be important in prevention of pathological gambling behaviors.

유치에 대한 Traumatic Injury의 처치

  • 생활양식의 변화에 따라 유치 및 유영구치에 대한 traumatic injury가 크게 증가하고 있으며 이는 어린이나 보호자에게 심리적으로 커다란 영향을 미칠 수 있는 것이다. 어린이의 신체중 구강주위에 가장 많은 injury를 받는 것으로 나타나고 있고 하악전치 보다는 상악전치가, 여자 보다는 남자가 더욱 많은 injury를 받는 것으로 알려져 있으며 유전치에 대한 injury가 가장 많은 시기는 걷는 것, 달리는 것을 처음 재우게 되는 1½~2½세 사이이다. 물론 같은 어린이가 수회의 injury를 받을 수 있으며 특히 조심성이 없거나 가정이 파괴된 상태의 어린이에 있어 사고 위험이 높은 것으로 나타나고 있다. 일단 injury가 발생하면 가능한 한 빨리 치료가 이루어져야 하는데 유치는 계승치 맹출에 의하여 정상적인 치근 흡수현상을 나타내고 발육중인 유영구치는 치근이 미완성된 상태이므로 성숙된 영구치와는 처치방법이 다르며 때 고려해야 할 사항으로, ① management of child, ② degree of root resorption (degree of permanent tooth development), ③ space problems, ④ degree of parental concern, ⑤habits, ⑥ speech, ⑦ esthetics등이 있다.

  • Major difficulties in the style selection,which guarantees the synthesis of good-styled natural expressions under the PIOVT MT system, are an absence of surface-level extra-information in the languageinde-pendent intermediate representation and the language-specific style of expressions due to cultural differences.This paper describes an attempt on the style selection with capabilities of guaranteeing more natural Korean expressions,which includes pragmatic and stylistic decision on target voice genertaion under heavy passive constraints,stylistic changes of sentence-structures,and meaning-supplementation of function words with content words.

단계형 수준별 교육과정과 교재의 재구성 방안

  • 수학은 합리적이고 논리적으로 사고하는 양식(style)의 학문으로서 과학기술이 발전함에 따라 점진적으로 변화하고 확장되는 개념의 집합체이다. 불확실한 미래사회에 대비하기 위하여 문제해결, 추론 및 의사결정의 기법은 학교수학에서 더욱 강조되어야 한다. 이러한 사회환경의 변화에 적극적으로 대처하기 위하여 7차 교육과정의 기본 방향을 ‘자율적 ${\cdot}$ 창의적인한국인 육성’으로 설정한 교육부는 국민 공통 기본 교육과정의 수학을 ‘단계형 수준별 교육과정’으로 규정하고, 1학년에서 10학년까지를 20개의 소단계(1-가에서 10-나)로 세분하고 있다. 그러나 단계형 수준별 교육과정을 지나치게 의식하게 되면, 학생들의 개인차나 협동학습, 학습평가 등의 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습의 여러 측면에서 자칫 혼란이 우려된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수준별 교육과정을 운영하고 있는 뉴질랜드의 교육과정을 살펴보고, 학생들의 자율성과 창의성을 신장할 수 있는 방안으로서 교과서의 재구성 방안과 이에 따른 교사의 역할을 살펴보고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among thinking styles and creative personality in early childhood teachers. The subjects of this study were 167 teachers who work in kindergarten in Busan. Data were gathered with Thinking Style Inventory and Creative Personality Scale. ANOVA, Pearson's correlations and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First, there was no difference in creative personality by teachers' background. But there were significant differences in thinking styles by teachers' background. Second, there were significant correlations between thinking styles and creative personality. Third, legislative, liberal, conservative, anarchic thinking styles were significant contributors to predict creative personality.

  • 기존에 부유 해양구조물을 바다에서 고정시키기 위하여 수심의 2배 이상의 길이를 사용하는 잉여 계류로프는 해저바닥에서 유동하게 되어 해저 자연환경을 훼손하고, 해저바닥과 잦은 접촉으로 인해 마모로 손상되어 태풍 등 자연재해에서 부유구조물과 양식어장 등의 유실 등 잦은 피해 발생과 유동으로 부유물의 정확한 위치파악이 어려워 안전사고의 원인이 된다. 현재 계류로프로 사용되는 섬유로프와 쇠사슬(Chain)의 단점(전단 취약, 고중량, 부식, 내마모, 해양어패류 부착 등)을 개선하며, 수심의 길이만 연결 할 수 있어 정해진 위치를 이탈하지 않고 쇠사슬이 가지고 있는 장점(고인장력)을 지닌 계류로프에 대해 연구 하였다.

  • 감정 분류는 사람의 사고방식이나 행동양식을 구분하기 위한 중요한 열쇠로, 지난 수십 년간 감정 분석과 관련된 다양한 연구가 진행되었다. 감정 분류의 품질과 정확도를 높이기 위한 방법 중 하나로 단일 레이블링 대신 다중 레이블링된 데이터 세트를 감정 분석에 활용하는 연구가 제안되었고, 본 논문에서는 T5 모델을 한국어와 영어 코퍼스로 학습한 KE-T5 모델을 기반으로 한국어 발화 데이터를 단일 레이블링한 경우와 다중 레이블링한 경우의 감정 분류 성능을 비교한 결과 다중 레이블 데이터 세트가 단일 레이블 데이터 세트보다 23.3% 더 높은 정확도를 보임을 확인했다.

A Study of the Health Promoting Life Style in Rural Area (일부 농촌주민의 건강증진 생활양식 수행정도)

  • This study was to identify the factors affecting the performance in health promoting lifestyle and measuring health promoting lifestyle. The subjects for this study were all adult in rural area, Kakbuk Nyun, Chung-do Gun, Kyungpook, Korea. The data were collected during the period from April 1 to April 30, 1995. The instruments used for this study were the health promoting lifestyle by Park(1995). The results of this study are as follows. Health condition felt by the subjects was worse in female group and was getting worse according as the age increase. According to health promoting life style implementation questionnaire, more than half of the subjects responded "never" in deep breathing 3 times a day item and non-smoking item; more than half of the subjects responded "yes" in 3 meal a day item, home-cooked meals item, never to omit breakfast item and frequent wearing of cotton underwear item. Health promoting life style implementation by health condition is higher in healthy group and frequency of consulting a specialist is higher in unhealthy group. Health promoting life style implementation by sex is higher in male group. Frequency, of consulting a specialist and non-excessive drinking are higher in female group. Health promoting life style implementation by age showed that the implementation of never omitting breakfast, keeping early hours and proper sleeping is higher in old age group ; that of enjoying hobby, pastime, cleaning as well as reading health books is higher in young age group. Health promoting life style implementation by religion showed that the implementation of deep breathing 3 times more a day, regular checking of blood pressure, never having non-healthful food and keeping right posture in sitting and standing is higher in religion group. Health promoting life style implementation by education is higher in highly-educated group ; the implementation of keeping early hours is higher in low-educated group. Health promoting life style implementation by marriage state showed that the implementation of deep breathing 3 times more a day, twenty minutes of brisk physical movement three or four times a week, enjoying his or her own time, relaxation to relieve from tension and pressure and equalized movement of each part of body is higher in unmarred group ; that of having elaborately cooked food, never omitting three meals a day and keeping early hours is higher in married group. Health promoting life style implementation by the number of family members showed that more-member-group has more plans and objectives for their future. Health promoting life style implementation by family type showed that the implementation of reading health books and articles, living with positive way of thinking and enjoying favorite hobby in pastime is higher in nuclear families ; that of having three meals a day never omitting breakfast is higher in large families.

  • Computer security incident such as confidential information leak and data destruction are constantly growing and it becomes threat to information in digital devices. To respond against the incident, digital forensic techniques are also developing to help digital incident investigation. With the development of digital forensic technology, a variety of forensic artifact has been developed to trace the behavior of users. Also, a diversity of forensic tool has been developed to extract information from forensic artifact. However, there is a issue that information from forensic tools has its own forms. To solve this problem, it needs to process data when it is output from forensic tools. Then it needs to compare and analyze processed data to identify how data is related each other and interpret the implications. To reach this, it calls for effective method to store and output data in the course of data processing. This paper aims to propose DFIOC (Digital Forensic Indicators Of Compromise) that is capable of transcribing a variety of forensic artifact information effectively during incident analysis and response. DFIOC, which is XML based format, provides "Evidence" to represent various forensic artifacts in the incident investigation. Furthermore, It provides "Forensic Analysis" to report forensic analysis result and also gives "Indicator" to investigate the trace of incidence quickly. By logging data into one sheet in DFIOC format for forensic analysis process, it is capable of avoiding unnecessary data processing. Lastly, since collected information is recorded in a normalized format, data input and output becomes much easier as well as it will be convenient to use for identification of collected information and analysis of data relationship.
