Design and Implementation of Sea Operation Monitoring System based on ENC (전자해도 기반의 해상작업 모니터링 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Sea operation monitoring system is a system for the automatic ship operation that is used on the variety sea operations such as laying optical cables on the sea between the countries, laying cables on the seabed for a remote island, laying pipelines for the natural gas, and so forth. This system processes data which obtained through setting up environment and input from several sensors, and display GPS information with ENC data. And this system processes not only data of route file about sea operation, but also realtime information from PDA of client wirelessly connected with AP on wireless LAN. In addition, this system can improve efficiency of the operation as a result of enabling free movement within valid range. This paper design and implementation monitoring system from above appropriate to the embedded system, and improve competitive power of ship through prevention of a ship accident, to keep minimizing operation loads and support both the automatic ship operation and the safety voyage.

Evaluation of Shoulder Rumble Strip Effectiveness based on Driver's Physiological Signal (운전자 생리신호로 본 노면요철포장의 설치효과분석)

  • Most researches about rumble strips have Presented only the before-and-after analysis of the accidents. So, Researchers have not dealt with the estimation of rumble strip's effectiveness on the driver's alertness. In this study. the effectiveness of the rumble strips on the driver's alertness was estimated by measuring the bio-signal transmitted from the driver. The bio-signal acquired for this experiments were theta wave in central lobe. The experimental results revealed that the theta waves as measured form the drivers's head while in the rumble strip section differed from those while in non-rumbled section; 74 percent decrease in theta wave value, respectively. This fact finding could mean that the driver's alertness increased from 74 percent while in the rumble strip section of the road. In all five trials of driving experiments on the rumble strip section, all the drivers showed the best alertness as measured by the theta waves in the first driving trial.

  • 최근 세계 각지에서 발생하는 대규모 터널 화재사고는 많은 사상자를 동반하고 이에 따른 경제적, 사회적 손실 또한 방대하게 진행되는 실정이다. 터널 구조물의 화재 특성상 외부에 쉽게 노출되지 않기 때문에 화재 발생 시 화재에 노출된 표층이 박리되거나 비산해서 단면결손이 생기는 폭렬 현상(explosive spalling)이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 폭렬 현상은 붕괴와 같은 대형 참사로 이어질 가능성이 크다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 터널 내 화재 발생 시 콘크리트 구조물의 폭렬에 의한 붕괴를 예방하기 위하여 이액형 상온경화 실리콘 고무와 인체에 무해한 친환경 첨가제인 펄라이트를 일정한 혼합비(5wt%, 10wt%, 15wt%, 20wt%)로 혼합하여 고성능 난연 복합체를 제조하고, 열적 특성과 난연 특성을 연구를 진행하였다. 열적 특성에 관한 시험으로 TGA를 측정하였으며, 난연 특성에 관한 시험으로는 화염 시험, 내화로 시험, 탄화로 시험을 진행하였다. 우선 TGA 시험은 $20^{\circ}C/min$ 승온 속도로 $800^{\circ}C$까지 실험을 하였고, 화염 시험은 제작한 시편과 gas torch($1200^{\circ}C$)의 화염 거리를 약 10cm로 하여 약 1시간 동안 시험을 하였다. 내화로 시험은 내화로 장치를 이용하여 RABT curve(5분만에 $1200^{\circ}C$도달 후 한 시간 동안 유지 후 냉각, 총 시험 시간 180분) 조건을 만족하는 환경에서 제작한 시편을 콘크리트에 부착하여 콘크리트의 내부온도를 측정하였다. 탄화로 시험은 탄화로 장치를 이용하여 $2^{\circ}C/min$ 승온속도로 $900^{\circ}C$까지 실험을 하여 외부 형태 변화를 관찰하였다. 각각의 시험 결과 TGA 열분해 결과 순수한 실리콘 고무보다 난연제인 펄라이트를 첨가했을 때 더 높은 온도에서 초기 분해 거동을 보였으며, 최종 잔류량은 80%를 보였고, 5 wt%의 펄라이트가 혼합된 시편의 최종 잔류량이 높은 것으로 보아 열분해에 가장 강한 조성임을 알 수 있었다. 화염 시험 결과 펄라이트가 혼합된 모든 시편에서 $300^{\circ}C$가 넘지 않은 결과를 보였다. 이는 제조된 복합체가 화염에 직접적으로 장시간 노출이 되어도 안전하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 내화로 및 탄화로 시험 결과 펄라이트가 15wt%와 20wt%가 첨가된 시편들보다 5wt%와 10wt% 첨가된 시편들이 고온에서 안정하다는 것을 보였다.

A Driving Information Centric Information Processing Technology Development Based on Image Processing (영상처리 기반의 운전자 중심 정보처리 기술 개발)

  • Today, the core technology of an automobile is becoming to IT-based convergence system technology. To cope with many kinds of situations and provide the convenience for drivers, various IT technologies are being integrated into automobile system. In this paper, we propose an convergence system, which is called Augmented Driving System (ADS), to provide high safety and convenience of drivers based on image information processing. From imaging sensor, the image data is acquisited and processed to give distance from the front car, lane, and traffic sign panel by the proposed methods. Also, a converged interface technology with camera for gesture recognition and microphone for speech recognition is provided. Based on this kind of system technology, car accident will be decreased although drivers could not recognize the dangerous situations, since the system can recognize situation or user context to give attention to the front view. Through the experiments, the proposed methods achieved over 90% of recognition in terms of traffic sign detection, lane detection, and distance measure from the front car.

  • Criticality analyses of the KSC-1(Korean Shipping Cask-1) spent fuel shipping cask have been performed with the help of KENO-IV Monte Carlo computer code and 19-group CSLIB 19 cross section set which was generated from AMPX modular system. The analyses followed a benchmark calculation which has been made regard to the B & W CX-10 criticality facility in order to validate the Monte Carlo code cross section set described above. The KSC-1 shipping cask seems to be safe in the criticality point of view for the transport of one PWR spent fuel assembly under the normal conditions as well as the hypothetical accident conditions.

도로안정성을 고려한 친환경적 터널 갱문 설계 및 시공사례

  • 터널 설계에 있어 갱구부의 위치 및 갱문형식의 선정은 터널 및 갱구사면의 안정성뿐만 아니라, 주위환경과의 조화 및 자연환경 훼손 최소화 등과 같은 환경적인 측면에서도 매우 중요한 부분이다. 현행 국내의 경우 경제성과 시공성 위주의 갱구부 위치 선정으로 과다 절취구간이 발생되어 환경훼손, 민원문제 발생, 과다한 용지 매입비용 등의 여러 가지 부작용이 발생되고 있다. 또한, 갱문 형식의 선정에 있어서 갱구부의 지형여건 및 제반 환경적 영향을 고려하지 않고 원통절개형과 면벽식 갱문의 획일적인 적용으로 주변지형과의 부조화를 이루는 사례가 다수 발생하고 있으며, 갱구부 상단의 유실된 토석이 완충공간의 부족으로 도로 노면상에 낙하되는 사고가 발생하고 있어 그에 대한 대책이 필요한 실정이다. 이와 같은 문제점을 보완하기 위해 갱구부 절취구간 최소화를 위한 구체적인 최소토피고 기준을 마련하였으며, 갱구상단 지형경사의 완급, 갱문주위의 배수기능, 낙석${\cdot}$산사태 등의 발생가능성 등을 고려한 새로운 갱문형식을 제안하고 체계적인 검토를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 점차 강화되는 환경보호정책 방향에 부응하고 자연환경 훼손을 최소화하며, 특히 해빙기와 집중호우시 낙석${\cdot}$눈사태로부터 도로의 안전을 확보할 수 있는 터널 갱문부 설계기준을 제시하였다. 또한, 실제 고속도로 터널의 설계 적용사례를 통하여 본 설계기준의 적용성을 분석하였으며, 실제 갱문 시공사례를 소개하여 향후 설계 및 시공에 도움이 되고자 하였다.

  • Most roads in Korea are constructed through a riverside or among the mountains due to geographical characteristics, and composed of various connection roads and complex networks, which makes it susceptible to a fog, rainfall and snowfall and causes serious negligent accidents due to misperception of network while driving. This study amis at securing original technology to provide traffic information, utilizing the road surface by grafting LED and optical technology highly recognized in terms of energy efficiency recently onto ITS, thereby developing next-generation ITS service. To support the research development, H/W was developed and field test was conducted. In addition, the customer satisfaction survey towards equipment, an end product of this research development was also carried out to find out what it means to customers potentially.

  • In this paper, the inductive power collector using electromagnetic induction for vehicle such as the electric railway vehicle system is suggested and some ideas for power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. The inductive power of secondary part is related to amount of linked flux to secondary part by the length of air-gap, which is expected by such a system parameter as mutual inductance. This paper will study for the transfer characteristic of power from input to output and equation including mutual inductance.

  • A subway platform is equipped with screen doors in oder to avoid accidents of passengers, where Area sensors are installed for detecting obstacles in the screen doors. However, there exist frequent operating errors in screen doors due to dusts, sunlight, snow, and bugs. It is required to develope a detection device which reduces errors and elaborates detection function. In this paper, we compared the detection rates of the Area sensor the 3D sensor using CCTV-based image data with installing sensors at the screen door in Munyang station Daegu, where 3D sensor is applied with the space division multiple detection algorithms. It is measured that the detection rate of 3D sensor and Area sensor is approximately 89.61% and 78.88%, respectively. The results confirmed that 3D senor has higher detection rate compared with Area sensor with the rate of 6.87~9.79%, and 3D sensor has benefit in the aspect of installation fee.
