Imagery Acquisition Methods for Root Analysis in Crops under Field Conditions (포장에서 작물의 뿌리분석을 위한 이미지 획득방법)

  • Roots are the most important organs in plants that absorb nutrients and moisture from the soil. However, owing to difficulties in root data collection, root research is still poorly conducted as compared to shoot research. Recent advancements in crop phenotyping, through advanced imagery data, are rapidly increasing, and artificial intelligence has been applied in various crop root research. Depending on the purpose, different root analysis methods have been developed that measure roots directly in soil or after separation from the soil. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages; therefore, it can be used in accordance with the research interest. Therefore, this review introduces root analysis methods that use imagery systems to help domestic researchers precisely study plant roots or root architecture.

  • 식생만으로 제방을 보호하는 식생호안이 충분한 수리적 안정성을 확보할 수 있으면 생태적 건전성을 확보할 수 있음은 물론 호안을 건설하는 비용을 절감할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 필요성에 따라 식생의 뿌리가 호안의 수리적 안정에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 하천의 수변부에 서식하는 초본식생에 대하여 식생이 외력에 저항하는 저항특성을 파악하고자 인발시험을 실시하였다. 식생의 뿌리는 외력으로 작용하는 하천수의 흐름에 대해 저항하고, 하천사면의 토양을 조정시켜 사면을 안정화시키는 역할을 하고 있다. 현장인발시험은 광주광역시 황룡강 및 광주천 일대의 4개 지역에서 총 6종 27개 개체에 대해 수행하였으며, 휴대용 Pushpull-Gauge를 이용하여 식생의 뿌리가 뽑힐 때까지의 최대인발력을 측정하였다. 측정된 최대인발력에서 토양의 무게를 제거한 뿌리만의 순수인발력을 산출하였으며, 이를 이용하여 인발강도를 계산하였다. 인발강도에 영향을 미치는 요소로서 식생뿌리체적을 선정하여 체적과 인발강도의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 뿌리의 체적이 증가할수록 인발강도가 비례적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

Analysis of Chemical Composition in leaf and foot of Acrorus calamus L. (창포(Acorus calamus L. var. angustatus Bess.) 잎과 뿌리 중의 성분 분석)

  • This study has been carried out to investigate the chemical composition of Acorus calamus L., a wild plant (Chang Po) which has long been used as a medicine or a hair rinse in Korea and China. Potassium was found to be the most predominant mineral in leaf and root, followed by calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, in a decreasing order. Contents of potassium in leaf and root account for 54a.65 mg% and 242.87 mg%, respectively. Contents of these minerals in leaf were higher value than that in root. Glucose and fructose were found to be the major free sugars in leaf and root. Malic acid was the most abundant organic acid of leaf and root, and followed by citric acid. Fourteen different kinds of fatty acids were identified from the leaf and root. Content of unsaturated fatty acids. such as linolenic, and linoleic acid ware higher than that of saturated fatty acids. Content of total amino acids was 3 times higher in leaf than that in root. Leucine was the major amino acid in leaf and glutamic acid in root.

  • 사람에게 족보가 있고 그 뿌리가 되는 조상이 있듯이 설비 자재 역시 족보가 있고 뿌리가 있다. 강철, 주철, 스테인레스 강 등은 원래 그 뿌리가 하나이지만 중간에 누구와 만나 결혼하느냐에 따라 특성이 전혀 다른 품격의 자손을 낳는다. 결국 최종 자재의 가격은 그 시조 및 부모의 특성, 탄생(?)의 난이도, 출생지 등에 따라 천차만별이 될 수밖에 없다. 따라서 자재 가격에 전략적으로 대응하려면 어느 한 면 만 보아서는 안되고 입체적으로 다각도로 여러 요인을 분석해 보아야 한다.

Changes in Nodule-Specific Proteins during Nodule Development of Canavalia lineata (해녀콩(Canavalia lineata)의 뿌리혹 발달 단계에 따른 뿌리혹 특이 단백질의 변화 양상)

  • Total soluble proteins from three developmental stages of induced root nodules of Canavalia lineata were compared with those of non-nodulated roots by SDS-PAGE and two dimensional (2-D) gel electrophoresis. Thirteen nodule-specific protein (nodulin) bands were identified by the former and 30 nodule specific protein spots were detected by the latter method respectively. Some of the nodulins were detected differentially depending on the nodule's developmental stages. For example, only three leghemoglobin (Lb)-like protein spots appeared at stage I (d<2 mm), but two additional Lb-like protein spots appeared at stage II (d <4-5 mm). pI value and molecular weight of nomomers of Lb-like protein were narrower and greater than those of soybean, ranging from 4.4 to 5.0 and 15.7 kd respectively. Northern blot hybridization of total RNAs from roots and root nodules using soybean Lb cDNA as a probe made it clear that Lb gene was expressed tissue-specifically only in the root nodules.odules.

  • The status of Ppuri industry, including foundry industry was analyzed through statistical surveys over the past 10 years from 2009 to 2018, and summarized for each six Ppuri industries' points of view. Various statistics of Ppuri industry defined by the KSIC (Korean Standard Industry Classification) was obtained, and the status of Ppuri industry was identified through a sample survey of 5,000 companies from more than 30,000 target business companies of Ppuri industry. Throughout the analyzing process, we presented a variety of indicators, such as the number of the Ppuri companies and its ratio, regional distribution through Korean provinces, number of workers, characteristics by age group, sales, profit rates, etc. By devising a comparative method to measure the relative strength of Ppuri industry in Korea, Germany, and Japan, we have presented the competitiveness index change over the 10 years of time. The competitiveness index can be effectively and meaningfully used during various activities of the development of Ppuri industry in the forth coming future. With the current obtained data, we figured out the status of each 6 Ppuri industries, regional distribution, status of workers, sales and profit rates. We also suggested various proposals for strategy and policy making for each sector with urging voluntary response from Ppuri industry.

Analysis of Components in the Different Parts of Ailanthus altissima (가죽나무(Ailanthus altissima)의 부위별 성분 분석)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the components of the roots, stems, and leaves of Ailanthus altissima to obtain basic data on the nutritional and functional materials developed a functional food with A. altissima. Among the general components, crude ash (9.20%) in the roots, crude protein (11.36%) in leaves, and carbohydrates (81.74%) in stems were higher than other parts. The content of soluble protein was the highest 9,839.52 mg% in leaves. Reducing sugar and free sugar in roots were 1,813.94 mg% 1,140.20 mg% and 1,670.98 mg% 1,190.42 mg% in leaves, respectively. The contents of free amino acid (2,018.58 mg%) in roots were higher than leaves (1,070.88 mg%) and stems (427.55 mg%). Especially arginine (1,446.63 mg%) and aspartic acid (252.82 mg%) in roots were the highest. Total content of amino acid derivatives were 780.70 mg% in leaves and 430.95 mg% in roots. Especially, taurine was 61.68 mg% in roots. In the results of mineral analysis, the contents of Ca, K and Mg which account for 83% to 98% of mineral contents, were high in all parts. The polyphenol compounds in leaves and water extract of leaves were 821.58 mg% and 8,040.35 mg%. And contents of flavonoids were 2,501.67 mg% in leaves and 13,592.20 mg% in ethanol extract of leaves, respectively.

  • The physicochemical characteristics and antioxidant activities of leaf, stem, and root of ginger (Zingiber officinale R.) were determined. Nutrient composition, reducing sugar, saponin, mineral, heavy metal, total phenolic and total flavonoid contents, and antioxidant activities based on DPPH radical scavenging and FRAP assay were measured. Catechins, gingerols, shogaols, and capsaicin compositions were also determined by HPLC. The contents of water, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and ash from ginger root were 6.4, 6.8, 3.2, 65.4, 7.3, and 18.2%, respectively. Crude fiber contents of leaf and stem were 4~5 times higher than those of root (P<0.05), and reducing sugar content of stem was about 3 times higher than those of root.   • 본 연구는 하천유역의 중금속을 제거하는데 식물을 활용하기 위해 1994년 7월부터 10월까지 전라북도에 위치한 전주천과 그 주변하천에서 7개 지점을 선정하여 토양층과 물의 Pb, Cu, Zn 및 Fe 등의 함량을 조사하였고 그 주변에 자생하는 고마리, 마름 및 노랑어리연꽃의 중금속 농축량과 부위별 중금속 농축량을 조사하였다. 그리고 재료식물내의 중금속 농축량과 서식지 토양의 중금속 함량과의 관계를 밝히기 위해 재료식물내의 중금속 함유량과 토양의 중금속 함량간의 상관계수를 조사하였다. 실험실 조건하에서 재료식물의 중금속 흡수경향을 조사하기 위해 재료식물 중 고마리를 선정하여 Pb, Cu 및 Zn 등을 여러 농도로 처리한 용액에 고마리의 뿌리부분을 침수하여 재배한 후 그농축량을 측정하였고, 그 결과를 7개 채집지에서 자생한 고마리의 중금속 농축량의 측정치와 비교 분석하였다. 7개 채집지에서 자생한 고마리의 부위별 중금속 농축량은 Pb와 Zn의 경우 줄기<잎<뿌리의 순서로 증가하였고 Cu와 Fe는 잎<줄기<뿌리의 순서로 증가하였으며, 중금별 농축량은 Pb$\leq$Zn의 순서로 증가하였다. 고마리의 배양 실험 결과, 서식지에서 조사된 결과인 잎과 줄기에서 Pb

  • This study empirically identified how technological innovation capability and technological commercialization capability affect management performance in the metropolitan area of Ppuri corporation. As results of the research analysis, First the average company performance in the field of new materials and platform processing technology was higher than that of the metal-oriented processing technology field. Second, technological innovation capability variables are included as R&D capability, technological innovation regime, and technological accumulation capability are shown the statistically significant on non-financial performance. Commercialization capability, producing capability, and marketing capability variable are statistically significant on financial performance.
