Future Promising Industries and Its Associated Ppuri-Technologies that will Change the World Expected by MOTIE R&D Program Directors(PD) (산업기술 R&D PD가 바라보는 미래 유망산업분야와 뿌리기술)

  • In this paper, we surveyed the opinion of MOTIE(Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy) R&D PDs about what are the future promising industries and their mainly associated Ppuri-technologies. According to the survey result, the future technology trends are to shift the technologies beyond their own critical performance and dominate human-centered technologies through converging technologies. In particular, the 4 industries, personalized medical technology, intelligent and emotional-based system, solar power technology and flexible technology, are expected to be good perspective industries in the near future. In order to grow these industries, we need to develop the core Ppuri-technologies that are very closely related to the future main industries. More than all, Ppuri-technology acts as a leverage for the future promising industry and is expected to be the strong supporter in manufacturing infra.

A Study on the Forming Process of High-strength Aluminum Sheet for Electric Vehicle Heat Exchanger Separator Through Parametric Analysis (인자 분석을 통한 전기차 열교환기 분리판용 고강도 알루미늄 판재 성형 연구)

  • The current study performed formability analysis of a heat exchanger separator for an electric vehicle to apply a high-strength aluminum sheet based on parametric analysis. Mechanical properties for sheet metal forming simulation were evaluated by tensile test, bulge test, and Nakajima test. Two-stage crash forming was established by considering the mass production process using conventional low-strength aluminum sheets. In this study, FEM for the two-stage forming process was conducted to optimize the corner radius and height for improving the formability. In addition, the possibility of a one-stage forming process application was confirmed through FEM. The prototype of the sample was manufactured as FEM results to validate the parametric analysis. Finally, this result can provide a one-stage forming process design method using the high-strength aluminum sheet for weight reduction of a heat exchanger separator for an electric vehicle.

  • This study empirically identified how technological innovation capability and technological commercialization capability affect management performance in the metropolitan area of Ppuri corporation. As results of the research analysis, First the average company performance in the field of new materials and platform processing technology was higher than that of the metal-oriented processing technology field. Second, technological innovation capability variables are included as R&D capability, technological innovation regime, and technological accumulation capability are shown the statistically significant on non-financial performance. Commercialization capability, producing capability, and marketing capability variable are statistically significant on financial performance.

  • 20세기 인류생활에 가장 큰 공헌을 한 공학기술은 전기와 전자공학 분야이다. 전기ㆍ전자공학의 뿌리를 찾는다면 1백년 전 2천개의 특허를 낸 에디슨의 업적에서 비롯된다. 오늘날 우리에게는 산업혁명에 견주어지는 기술혁명을 겪고 있는데 이러한 기술혁명은 진공관으로부터 트렌지스터, IC, VLSI로 변천해오면서 발전된 반도체기술을 기반으로 디지털기술이 발전되었고 이를 통해 생겨난 디지털 혁명이 바로 그것이다.

Physio-chemical Characteristics of Starch Extracted from the Root of Pteridium spp. According to Cultivation Year (고사리 재배년차에 따른 뿌리 전분의 이화학적 특성)

  • 우리나라의 고사리 재배면적은 2018년 기준 5,406ha 수준을 보이고 있으며 전체 산채류 재배면적에서 가장 높은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 고사리(Ferns)는 고사리 속(Pteridium spp.)에 속하는 양치식물의 총칭으로서 우리나라에는 22과 70속 272종이 분포되어 있는 것으로 보고되었다. 고사리의 어린 순에는 가식부 100g 당 칼슘 15.0mg, 칼륨 185.0mg 등이 함유되어 있으며 골다공증, 심혈관 질환 등에 효과가 있고 식이섬유로 인해 변비 예방에도 유용한 것으로 알려져 있다. 고사리 뿌리에서 추출한 전분은 중국 및 일본 등지에서 면류나 제과용으로 이용되고 있어 고사리 재배의 부가가치를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안으로 기대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고사리의 재배년차간에 뿌리 전분의 생산성과 이화학적 특성을 조사하기 위해 2020년 3월 26일 각 재배년차별로 굴취한 뿌리를 세척 후 고무망치로 파쇄하고 수침 방법을 사용해 추출한 전분의 이화학적 특성을 조사하였다. 재배년차간 고사리 뿌리의 생산성은 5년생과 7년생에서 3,000 kg/10a 이상으로 유의하게 높은 수량을 보였다. 세척한 고사리 뿌리를 24시간 sodiun metasulfite 4% V/W 용액에 수침하여 전분을 추출한 후 24시간 간격으로 3회에 걸쳐 진탕, 침전과 세척의 과정을 거친 후 조사한 전분 추출 수율은 뿌리 생체중 대비 6.8~7.6% 수준이었으며 재배년차간 차이는 없었다. 추출한 전분의 색도분석에서 L 값은 재배년차가 높아질수록 낮아지는 경향을 보였으나 a 값은 3.7~4.8, b 값은 13.5~15.9로서 뚜렷한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 고사리 뿌리전분의 호화특성에서 최고점도는 3년생 고사리 뿌리에서 추출한 전분이 557.4 RVU로 높은 값을 보였으나 재배년차간 통계적 유의성을 인정할 수는 없었으며, 최저검도에서는 5년생에서 추출한 전분이 269.9RVUfh 낮은 경향을 보였다. 또한 최대 점도 시간은 5.0~5.2hr로 재배년차간 차이는 없었으며 호화 저지온도는 67.0~68.9℃ 범위로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 고사리 뿌리에서 채취한 전분의 무기물 함량을 조사한 결과 황의 함량은 1년생에서 0.081%로 유의하게 높았으며, 인산 함량은 3년생에서 72mg/kg으로 가장 높았고 1년생에서 31mg/kg으로 가장 낮은 값을 나타냈다. 칼륨의 함량은 7년생에서 추출한 전분에서 376.3mg/kg으로 높았으나 재배년차 간 뚜렷한 경향을 보이지 않았으며 칼슘, 마그네슙 및 철분 함량에서는 5년생 전분에서 유의하게 높은 경향을 보였다.

Fermentation Characteristics of Wild Grape (Vitis amurensis) Wine Prepared with Reed (Phragmites communis) Root (갈대뿌리를 첨가하여 제조한 산머루주의 발효 특성)

  • This study investigated the fermentation characteristics of wild grape(Vitis amurensis) wine prepared with reed(Phragmites communis) root. The reed root was added to the fermentation of wild grape wine in the quantities of 0.5%, 1.0% and 2.0%. An addition of reed root during yeast fermentation of wild grape wine decreased the acidity and increased pH of fermentation culture, thus enhancing the consumption of sugar and production of ethanol. Especially, the addition of 2% reed root led to production of about 13% ethanol in 4 day of fermentation time. The sensory evaluation showed that the wild grape wine fermented with 2.0% reed root was most acceptable.

  • Ppuri or Root technology primarily includes technologies such as casting, mold, plastic working, welding, heat treatment and surface treatment. It is regarded as an essential element for improving the competitiveness of the quality of final products. This study investigates the current status of smart factory implementation for Ppuri companies and analyzes the influencing relationships among various company factors. The factors affecting smart factory implementation for Ppuri companies are sales, exports, number of technical employees, and holding corporate research institutes. In addition, this research shows that even if smart factory implementation is pursued for data collection, data utilization is not implemented properly. Thus, it is suggested that the implementation of smart factories requires not only the availability of facilities and systems but also proper data utilization.

Oxide Layer Analysis of Uncoated Boron Steel Sheet for Hot Stamping According to the Atmosphere Oxygen Content (비도금 핫스탬핑용 보론강판의 분위기 산소량에 따른 산화층 분석)

  • As the supply of eco-friendly vehicles increases, the application rate of hot stamping components is rising to reduce vehicle weight and improve safety. Although Al-Si coated steel sheets are commonly used in hot stamping processes, their manufacturing costs are elevated due to process patents and royalties. Various hot stamping studies have been conducted to reduce these production costs. In this study, we derived a process control method for suppressing the oxide layer of hot stamping parts using uncoated boron steel sheets. Firstly, hat-shaped parts were hot stamped under atmospheric conditions to analyze the tendency of oxide layer formation by location. Then, the Gleeble system was used to observe oxide layer formation based on oxygen content under various atmospheric conditions. Finally, the oxide layer thickness was quantitatively measured using SEM images.

Characterization of Product Surface according to Tool Surface Conditions when Forming TRIP1180 Steel Sheets with PVD CrN-coated Tools (PVD CrN 코팅 금형의 TRIP1180 판재 성형 시 금형의 표면상태에 따른 제품 표면특성 평가)

  • This study conducted the wear tests on bending punches coated with PVD CrN and examined the surface quality of the product formed by each punch in the forming of uncoated TRIP1180 sheets. The study quantitatively estimated the surface quality of the product by measuring the roughness and imaging the product surface. The correlation between the punch wear depth and the product surface roughness was quantitatively analyzed. The results showed that before failure occurs, the product roughness was comparable with that of the as-received, and the product surface was smooth without scratches and defects. However, after failure, the punch wear is caused by fretting wear mechanism, and a punch whose coating is not completely peeled plows the product surface, resulting in severe scratches with grooves and ridges on the product surface. Severe wear on the punch surface caused by fretting wear can rapidly degrade the product surface quality as it is directly affected by the punch surface condition, and the product surface quality accurately reflects the punch wear condition.
