A Study on the Estimation of Additional Cost for the Certification of Zero Energy Apartment Buildings (공동주택 제로에너지빌딩 인증을 위한 적정가산비 산정에 관한 연구)

  • Environmental and energy issues such as abnormal climate and depletion of fossil fuel due to global warming have emerged as a critical task to threaten human survival. As a result, interest in the Zero Energy Building is increasing as it is an innovative building that can significantly contribute to building energy reduction and greenhouse gas reduction. In the market, however, the added cost of construction is a major stumbling block to the revitalization of the Zero Energy certification. In this study, general private apartment complexes were selected for research, detailed elements for Zero Energy certification were presented based on the construction criteria for eco-friendly houses from the initial design stage, and the cost efficiency analysis of the components for certification were presented. It has been analyzed that only Grade 3 certification can be implemented in apartments due to technical level and physical limitations. Also, after reviewing the cost trend during the lifecycle cost, all expenses can be recovered within 13 years after completion only in the case of grade 5 of the Zero Energy Building. The additional costs proposed in the present study are reflected appropriately in the review of projects for apartments scheduled for order in the future to contribute to the revitalization of the Zero Energy Building certification.

  • Building Energy Management System application not only helps maintain internal environment comfortable, but also maximizes energy efficiency and extends an expected life of facility system. Due to generalized computer usage, development of communication system, and bigger and more complex of building in 1990s, automation and comprehensive management system were acknowledged to be important; and these have been widely applied in domestic market.   • Recently, the consuming efficiency of energy and natural resources has been a hot issue because of the continuous increasing of energy consumption and soaring of international oil prices. We tried to seek an action plan for the government's new paradigm 'Low-Carbon, Green Growth' by consuming energy efficiently and improving in energy management based on ubiquitous IT technologies. In this study, the library survey method is adopted for this study and IP-USN(internet protocol based ubiquitous sensor network) is considered as a core technology among various ubiquitous IT technologies. The purpose of this study is to deliver a method of energy management through integrating the context information gathered from sensors with digital space models and visualizing them together. The details are to survey the technologies of digital space modeling, USN based monitoring, building energy management and to integrate these technologies all together. This study will contribute to the enhancement of efficient building energy management by grasping the accurate situation of energy consuming in the building in realtime and minimizing unnecessary energy wastes.

  • The Demand Response Market is a nation-wide power and energy management program of electric power demand response operated by KPX (Korea Power eXchange). Therefore, any savings could be determined by KEPCO's AMR(Automatic Meter Reading) data. However, the customers and the service providers participating in the market could not know the real time value due to the 15 minute or even more delayed AMR data communicated. Here, a new concept of a smart box has been introduced and demonstrated to provide the real time saving values compared to the current KEPCO's AMR data approach.

  • 지속적인 경제성장으로 초고층 복합 첨단정보빌딩이 급속히 증가하고, 국민생활 수준의 질적향상으로 쾌적한 환경 요구에 부응하여 고급에너지인 전력 소비량이 매년 10%이상 높게 증가하고 있어 효율적인 전력관리가 절실히 요구되고 있다. 전력소비량이 많은 산업(제조업)분야와 건축물분야 다소비시설물의 전력원단위를 분석하고 효율적인 전력관리 방안을 제시하여 전력사용합리화를 이룩하고자 한다.
