Training of Artificial Neural Network for water level forecasting (하천수위 예측을 위한 인공신경망 학습에 관한 연구)

  • 국내 강우발생은 기상학적인 영향으로 인하여 장마기간(6~8월)에 집중되어있으며, 최근에는 기후변화의 영향으로 짧은 시간에 많은 양의 강우가 발생하는 집중호우의 발생빈도가 증가하고 있다. 또한, 시간과 지역에 관계없이 국지성호우의 발생빈도 역시 높아지고 있다. 집중호우와 국지성호우는 짧은 시간에 하천수위를 상승시키므로 홍수로 인한 물적 피해가 크게 발생된다. 국토교통부에서는 그동안 홍수예보에 필수적인 우량, 하천수위 등 기초자료를 확보하기 위해 관측소(500여개) 및 홍수량 측정지점(80여개)을 확대하였으며, 관측된 자료는 모두 전산망에 기록, 보관하고 있다. 또한 한강, 금강, 낙동강, 영산강의 경우 홍수통제소에서 홍수량 예측 계산 등을 통해 홍수 예경보를 실시하고 있다. 하지만 4대강을 제외한 중소하천의 홍수예경보에 대한 정보를 찾아볼 수 없으며, 현재 연구가 진행중이다. 강우-유출모형을 활용하여 중소하천의 강우와 유출의 관계를 해석하는 과정은 다양한 인자를 고려해야하지만 중소하천의 경우 하천단면 등 하천자료가 충분히 구축되어 있지 못하므로 유출량 계산에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소하천의 홍수위 예측을 위해 한강의 과거 수위와 현재 수위만을 활용하여 인공신경망(Artificial Neural Network, ANN)의 학습을 진행하였다. 첫 번째로 ANN을 활용하여 한강유역 중 홍수예보지점(잠수교)의 수위변화에 직접적으로 연관이 있는 5개 수위관측소를 선정하였으며, 과거 장마기간(6~8월)관측 자료를 활용하였다. 두 번째로 홍수예보지점(잠수교)과 5개 수위관측소의 과거 관측수위(2009~2014년)를 인공신경망의 학습자료로 활용하여 모델을 훈련시켰으며, 마지막으로 2015년의 관측수위를 이용하여 ANN의 학습정확도에 대한 검증을 하였다. 본 과정은 수위예측을 위한 ANN의 훈련단계로 Training/Test를 반복하였으며, 학습결과와 2015년 관측수위 비교시 $R^2=0.987$과 상관계수 r=0.994로 유사한 패턴을 보였으나 최대치와 최소치에 대한 오차가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 국내에서 설계홍수량 산정시, 실무 적용성이 높은 설계강우-유출 모형을 채택하고 유출모형으로는 단위도 방법을 적용하여 설계홍수량을 산정한다. 설계홍수량을 산정함에 있어 설계강우-유출관계 모형을 적용하기 위한 필수요소로 확률강우량 산정이 선행되어야 한다. 확률강우량은 유역면적이 25.9 m를 초과할 경우 면적평균확률강우량을 사용하여야하나 지점평균확률강우량을 주로 사용하고 있다. 이는 해당 유역 강우의 공간적 분포를 고려하고 있지 않기 때문에 각 강우관측소에서 관측되는 지점 강우자료를 면적평균확률강우량으로 산정하는데 매번 복잡한 자료처리과정을 거쳐야 하는데 있다. 따라서 비교적 산정이 간편한 지점평균확률강우량을 사용하여 면적평균확률강우량으로 손쉽게 전환할 수 있는 각 유역별 ARF(Areal Reduction Factor) 의 필요성이 대두된다.(이등, 정등 2002) 본 연구에서는 일반적으로 유역의 강우 빈도해석시 이용되는 면적고정형 방법을 사용하여 표본면적에 대하여, 설계홍수량 산정요령(국토부, 2012)에 제시 된 4대강 유역의 ARF와 제주도 한천유역의 수문학적 특성을 반영한 ARF를 산정하여 비교 하였다. 표본면적($100km^2$)에 대하여 기존 4대강 유역의 ARF와 본 연구에서 산정된 ARF 비교 결과 권역별, 빈도별, 지속시간에 따른 ARF는 제주 도심지 유역 기준 최대 18.63%(영산강유역) 작게 산정되었음을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 향후 해당유역의 수문학적 특성 미반영으로 인해 설계홍수량이 과다 및 과소 산정되어 안정적인 수공구조물 결정을 저해하는 중요 요소로 작용 될 수 있어 제주도 전 유역에 적용 가능한 ARF 산정 및 기준 설정 등의 조치가 요구된다.

  • 전세계적으로 집중호우, 홍수, 가뭄 등 기상이변이 빈번히 발생하고 있으며, 홍수기와 갈수기가 뚜렷해지고, 이에 따라 수자원 확보에 애로사항이 발생하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 정부는 "물의 재이용촉진 및 지원에 관한 법률"을 재정하여 효율적인 빗물 관리에 주력을 하고 있으나, 체계적인 빗물관리는 미흡한 실정이다. 즉 수자원을 효율적으로 보관하고 관리할 시스템 구축이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 재배 작물에 대한 농업용수 확보를 위한 빗물저류조를 시공 및 모니터링을 하기 위하여 먼저 보은군 회인면 오동리의 기상 및 수문특성 조사를 실시하였고, 확률강우량을 산정하기 위해 보은기상관측소의 지속기간별 강우 자료를 수집하여 확률분포를 선정하고 매개변수를 산정하였다. 이에 따른 적합도 검정 결과 최적 확률분포형을 산정하였다. 분석한 결과를 통해 대상지역의 집수되는 면적에 내리는 유출량을 산정하였으며, 집수되는 유형은 지붕으로서 그에 대한 면적은 $120.0m^2$로 측정되었고, 지붕에 대한 유출계수로서 0.9의 값을 적용하였다. 지붕에서 집수되는 유출량의 값을 산정하였으며, 6월의 50년 빈도에서 부족한 9.4톤은 집수된 유출량으로 보충할 수 있는 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 50년 빈도의 10톤을 저류할 빗물은 저류조에서 30%의 여유율을 두어 13톤으로 저류조를 설계하는 것이 적정할 것으로 판단된다. 현재 빗물자원의 대부분은 바다로 유입되어 소모되거나, 하수로 유입되어 불필요한 고도처리공정이 진행되고, 하수처리장 용량에 과부하를 발생시키는 등 막대한 예산이 투입되고 있다. 갈수기시 농가에서 용수를 확보하기 위한 용수 운반장치 등 기반구축과 인력 부족으로 정상적인 용수공급의 어려움을 해결하기 위해서는 빗물자원을 용수로서 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 시스템의 구축이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

  • The two urban-area public libraries and two rural ones that are located in the Gyungsangnam-do province were selected for this paper, and the circulation records in 2007 were collected, and both MS-excel and SPSS were used for their analysis. The collected data were categorized into their collection type, circulation frequencies, and subjects. Also the four libraries were compared and analyzed again for the purpose of comparing the characteristics of the public libraries in urban and rural areas. The number of circulated books, lent number, use factor, and the number of publication lapse year were extracted and analyzed using various types of statistical methods such as correlation coefficient and nonparametric chi-square analysis, etc. as well as descriptive ones.

Reliability of a Questionnaire for Evaluation of Dry Mouth Symptoms (구강건조증 증상 평가를 위한 설문지의 신뢰도에 관한 연구)

  • Xerostomia is defined as a subjective complaint of dry mouth that may be perceived when there is insufficient mucosal wetting. However, the diagnosis and treatment of xerostomia is not that simple because of the fact that the subjective awareness of dry mouth is not always correlated with a diminution in the flow of saliva and there is always a difference between individuals in salivary flow rates needed for normal oral function. In the present study, the aim was to develop a questionnaire to evaluate the dry mouth symptoms and to analyze its reliability and usability as a diagnostic and analytic tool for xerostomia. The questionnaire which consists of 6 Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) type questions to evaluate the subjective oral dryness and 4 questions to evaluate behavior to avoid oral dryness was developed and administered twice with 1 week's interval to the healthy 88 young adults without dry mouth symptoms(44 males and 44 females; mean age was $25.6{\pm}3.1$ years in male and $24.3{\pm}2.1$ years in female). The results were as follows. 1 The intraclass correlation coefficients of 6 questions to evaluate the subjective oral dryness were as significantly high as 0.767 for the degree of oral dryness at other times of the day, 0.850 for the amount of saliva in the mouth, and 0.791 for the degree of effect on daily life due to oral dryness and as high as 0.563 for the degree of oral dryness at night or on awakening, 0.674 for the degree of oral dryness during eating, and 0.641 for the degree of difficulty in swallowing foods. 2. Cronbach's alpha value of 6 questions was 0.982. It can be concluded that the series of questions to evaluate the subjective oral dryness has high internal consistency. 3. Cohen's kappa values of 4 questions to evaluate behavior to relieve oral dryness were as significantly high as 0.850 for the frequency of keeping a glass of water at the bedside and as high as 0.506 the frequency of awakening during sleeping due to oral dryness, 0.419 for the frequency of sipping liquids to aid in eating dry foods, and 0.407 for the frequency of using a candy or chewing gum due to oral dryness. From the results, it can be concluded that the questionnaire consisting of 6 VAS type questions to evaluate the subjective oral dryness and 4 questions to evaluate behavior to relieve oral dryness has reliability of good to excellent level, and that the series of 6 VAS type questions has significantly high internal consistency to evaluate the subjective oral dryness.

Validation Study of a Dietary Questionnaire for Assessing Exposure to Food-Borne Hazards (식품으로 인한 유해물질 노출조사를 위한 식생활 설문지의 타당도 평가)

  • Assessing human exposure to food-borne hazards requires standardized assessment tools. The objective of this study was to validate a newly developed dietary assessment questionnaire to assess human exposure to food-borne hazards, which include dietary behavior and food consumption patterns such as eating frequency, types of food containers and cooking methods. A total of 216 adults were recruited for two questionnaire surveys (questionnaire 1 and 2) about 1 week apart with a 3 day diet record. Reproducibility was evaluated by comparing responses from questionnaires 1 and 2, and validity was checked by comparing responses from questionnaire 2 and the 3 day diet record. Comparisons were based on the percent agreement and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. The mean exact agreement of food containers at purchase between questionnaires 1 and 2 was 73.5%, for storing containers it was 71.9%, and for cooking methods it was 83.0%. The mean correlation coefficient for food intake frequency between questionnaires 1 and 2 was 0.71 (range, 0.50-0.83). The mean correlation coefficient of the food intake frequency between questionnaire 2 and the 3 day diet record was 0.21 (range, 0.04-0.48). The exact and adjacent agreement of food intake frequency quartile assessed by questionnaire 2 and the 3 day diet record was 65.4% (range, 51.0-82.1%). Although the correlation coefficient for food intake frequency between questionnaire 2 and the 3 day diet record was low, the exact and adjacent food intake frequency agreement was higher than 50% and reproducibility of the dietary behaviors exceeded 70%. Therefore, the questionnaire developed in this study could be applied to assess diets for the human exposure to food-borne hazards as a qualitative assessment in a large population.

Dietary Fiber Intake of Middle School Students in Chungbuk Area and Development of Food Frequency Questionnaire (충북지역 중학생의 식이섬유 섭취 실태 및 식품섭취빈도조사지 개발)

  • This study aimed to offer groundwork for grasp and evaluation of nutritional status and dietary fiber intake through 24-hr recall method among middle school students in Chungbuk area. In addition, this study attempted to develop food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) for dietary fiber intake. Average calorie intake per person a day was 2035.6 kcal for boys, and 1876.7 kcal for girls which were 75.4% and 93.8% of estimated energy requirement (EER), respectively. Percent estimated average requirements (%EAR) of calcium, iron and folate were the lowest showing 34.3%, 54.2%, 67.5% for boys and 36.6%, 59.2%, 64.4% for girls, respectively. Average dietary fiber intake per day was $17.6\pm5.3$ g for boys and $16.5\pm4.8$ g for girls which indicate 54.8% and 68.8% of adequate intake (AI), respectively. The main food sources of dietary fiber were polished rice and kimchi. The main food source groups were vegetables, cereals and their products were fruits, seaweeds in the order named, indicating 68.44% total dietary fiber intake from vegetables and cereals. From preliminary 39 food items, 19 food items were selected to derive the correlation coefficient of each food item between 24-hr recall and FFQ method. Correlation coefficient was increased from 0.71 to 0.78 with significant level of p<0.01 after adjustment of FFQ from 39 items to 19 items set. Percentage of classifying subjects into the same levels by food frequency questionnaire and 24-hr recall based on joints classification quartile Kappa value was evaluated. Agreement was highest in the second lowest group showing percentage to correspond rose from 90.2% to 92.4% and Kappa value of 0.54 to 0.59. Consequently, FFQ developed in this study would be useful for estimating the groups which show low intake.

Proposal for Estimation Method of the Suspended Solid Concentration in EIA (환경영향평가에서 부유사 농도 추정 방법 제안)

  • SS(Suspended Solid) concentration by soil erosion into river at normal and flood season should be measured. However, to present the variation of SS due to various development project such as EIA(Environmental Impact Assessment), River Master Plan, and so on, it is necessary to estimate not measure SS, but there are not exist how to estimate SS. In the present study, therefore, we propose the hydrologic method of estimating SS concentration using the results of particular frequency flood discharge and sediment discharge by RUSLE method. SS consists of silty and clay soil and colloid particle etc. However, in the present study, silty and clay soils of sediment discharge except send set up SS standards. The flow discharge to estimate SS concentration are 1~2 years for normal season, 30~100 years for flood season. Meanwhile, analysis software for probable rainfall uses Fard2006, probable rainfalls under 2-year frequency are estimated using rainfall data and frequency factor of Gumbel distribution. The results of estimating SS concentration using runoff volume by sediment and flow discharges of silty and cray soils as above method show that reliable level of SS concentration is considered in predevelopment of natural condition and under development of barren condition. Especially, SS concentration takes notice that the value of sediment discharge makes a huge difference according to channel slope, it was confirmed that the value obtained by dividing the SS concentration by the channel slope is relatively constant even though the topographical factors are different. Therefore, if the present study will be proceeded for various watersheds, it will be developed as estimation method of SS concentration.

Hydrologic Regimes Analyses on Down Stream Effects of the Young Chun Dam by Indicators of Hydrologic Alterations (수문변화 지표법에 의한 영천댐이 하류하천에 미치는 유황변화 분석)

  • Hydrologic regimes play a major role in determining the biotic composition, structure, and function of river ecosystem. In this study, hydrologic regimes were analyzed on down stream effects of the Young-Chun dam construction using the Indicators of Hydrologic Alterations(IHA). The analysis results were as follows ; (1) Monthly mean flows were decreased during drought and flood season on the pre and post dam, (2) Magnitude and Duration of Annual Exterm Conditions, annual minima 1-day means was $3.48m^3/sec$, $0.89m^3/sec$ and annual maxima 1-day mean was $833.1m^3/sec$, $672.1m^3/sec$ on the pre and post dam (3) Timing of Annual Exterm conditions, Julian date of the annual minima 1-day means was 180th(June) in the pre dam, 257th(September) in the post dam, Julian date of the annual maxima 1-day means was 209th(July) in the pre dam, 217th(August) in the post dam, (4) Frequency and Duration of High and Low Pulse, Low Puls counts and duration were 3 times and 23 days in the pre dam, High Pulse counts and duration were 4 times and 2 days in the pre dam. (5) Rate and Frequency of Water Condition Changes, rise rates was 39.27 %, 19.36 % and fall rates -15.85 %, -8.16 % in the pre and post dam, respectively (6) Coefficient of Variation, annual exteram water conditions were decreased from 0.9054 to 0.6314 and from 1.0440 to 0.9617, Timing of Annual Exterm conditions were incereased for minima flow from 0.269 to 0.282, for maxima form 0.069 to 0.153.

Comparison of the Ejection Fraction Between Gated Blood Pool, Gated Blood Pool SPECT and Echocardiography (게이트심장혈액풀스캔과 게이트심장혈액풀 SPECT로 측정한 심박출계수의 심초음파와의 비교 연구)

  • Purpose: Ejection fraction (EF) is one of the most important factors that evaluate heart function. Recently, according to echocardiography and myocardial perfusion SPECT, the number of gated blood pool scan (planar GBP) is declining. Measurement of left ventricular ejection fraction using gated blood pool SPECT (GBPS) is known as relatively correspond with echocardiography. We compared EF derived from plnar GBP, GBPS and echocadiography using modified simpson method to determine the accuracy. Materials and Methods: From January 2007 to June 2010, planar GBP and GBPS were performed on 34 patients who admitted to Pusan National University Hospital (men 23, women 11, mean age $52.6{\pm}27.2$). Each patient was injected with $^{99m}{TcO_4}^-$ of 20 mCi after pyrophosphate injection and then scanned using both planar GBP and GBPS techniques. For image analysis, we use ADAC Laboratories, Ver. 4.20 software. The result analyzed was processed by SPSS 17.0 Win statistic program and statistical method applied in data analysis is one-way anova, Tukey's post hoc test, pearson correlation test. Results: One-way anova test show no significant difference (planar GBP $56.3{\pm}13.9%$; GBPS $60.4{\pm}16.0%$; echocardiography $59.1{\pm}14.4%$, p=0.486, p>0.05). Tukey's post hoc test show no significant difference (planar GBP-echocardiography p=0.697; GBPS-echocardiography p=0.928; planar GBP-GBPS p=0.469, p>0.05). Values for EF obtained with planar GBP and GBPS correlated well with those obtained with echocardiography (planar-echocardiography r=0.697; GBPS-echocardiography r=0.928; planar GBP-GBPS r=0.469). Conclusion: The problems of accuracy and reproducibility for planar GBP still remain. But planar GBP is a safe and non-invasive method. In addition, planar GBP is useful to evaluate patient with low resolution echocardiography images. GBPS is not appicated clinically. but GBPS can be obtain various left ventricular functional parameters. planar GBP, GBPS and echocardiography show a good correlation between each other. Therefore, planar GBP and GBPS are useful for evaluating left ventricular ejection fraction.
