  • As the ubiquitous technology has been widespread, the u-service development in the private sector is increasing these days. Especially, consisting of various life spaces, a mixed-use complex started actively utilizing the ubiquitous technology in order to provide users with differentiated services. In this paper, a new development methodology of the u-service for a mixed-use complex is proposed. Because the ultimate purpose of the u-service in a mixed-use complex is to guarantee profitability, the u-service must accelerate commercial activities among various users in the complex. The u-service development methodology of a mixed-use complex proposed in this paper firstly defines various perspectives for the u-service and identifies specific u-service elements in cross points of the perspectives. Then with those u-service elements, the methodology generates a u-service pool. Finally, after evaluation process, target u-serviced to develop are selected. Having designed the u-service development methodology, we expect the methodology to contribute the successful implementation of u-service model for a mixed-use complex.

  • Recently, the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT has been increasing in various fields such as interactive commerce and mobile financial services. However, LMMs, which are mainly created by learning existing documents, can also learn various human biases inherent in documents. Nevertheless, there have been few comparative studies on the aspects of bias and discrimination in LLMs. The purpose of this study is to examine the existence and extent of nine types of discrimination (Age, Disability status, Gender identity, Nationality, Physical appearance, Race ethnicity, Religion, Socio-economic status, Sexual orientation) in LLMs and suggest ways to improve them. For this purpose, we utilized BBQ (Bias Benchmark for QA), a tool for identifying discrimination, to compare three large-scale language models including ChatGPT, GPT-3, and Bing Chat. As a result of the evaluation, a large number of discriminatory responses were observed in the mega-language models, and the patterns differed depending on the mega-language model. In particular, problems were exposed in elder discrimination and disability discrimination, which are not traditional AI ethics issues such as sexism, racism, and economic inequality, and a new perspective on AI ethics was found. Based on the results of the comparison, this paper describes how to improve and develop large-scale language models in the future.

In this crisis situation, the government announced the "New Deal" as a new card to enhance economic vitality following the "emergency disaster support fund." This means that the first business of the Digital New Deal, the beginning and core of the New Deal, begins digital transformation from collecting data, which is the "rice" of digital transformation to the data dam. Until now, not only the government but also local governments have established and operated platforms for collecting and sharing public data by establishing various data portals. It is evaluated that it lacks utilization for commercialization as not only the government but also local governments focus only on building the platform without considering the business model when building the initial public data platforms. In particular, in the case of regions, there is a lack of public data to be used for data business, so it is necessary to utilize data from public institutions in the region. In this study, various data collection, data quality improvement, and data utilization improvement were suggested as measures to solve these problems.
