본고는 서로 다른 용어와 기준들로 일관성 없이 나열되어 있던 이전의 '-이나'의 의미 해석을 통합적으로 설명해 보고자 한다. 즉 특정한 양상 척도(개연성, 희구성, ${\ldots}$ 등)을 이용하여 '-이나'가 쓰인 맥락에 따라 척도 함축을 해석해 내고자 한다. 따라서 본고는 교착어의 특성을 가진 한국어의 특수조사(혹은 한정사) '-이나'의 함축 해석에서 척도의 유형을 분류함으로써 의미 해석과 형식화의 초석을 다지는 연구가 될 것이라고 기대한다. 먼저 '-(이)나'의 함축 해석에서 나타나는 척도의 유형에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. 따라서 '-(이)나'의 함축이 드러내는 척도들을 형식적으로'선형과 비선형'척도를 나누고 이러한 문장들이 들어내는 양상을 분류할 것이다. 둘째, 정대호 외(2002)에서 논의하고 있는 '~이나/도'가 분류사구와 결합한 문장이 화용론적인 개연성의 척도상에서 하한 값을 유발한다고 제안함에 따라, 본고는 양상을, 이러한 개연성의 척도를 포함한, '인식(진리, 원인, 지식, 평가), 의무(의지), 희구(기원)'의 3가지 양상으로 분류하고, 이에서 '-(이)나'가 유발하는 각각의 척도상의 함축을 기술할 것이다.

The relationship between dependent personality traits and depression has been widely studied in the field of psychology. However, the existing evidence is mixed and often contradictory, obscuring the precise nature of this relationship. Given that the most common method of measuring the construct of dependency has been to administer self-report instruments, it is possible that implicit dependency, another parameter of dependency that is distinct from explicit dependency measured via self-report, is confounding these results. The current study aimed to clarify the relationship between dependency and depression by comparing the effect of implicit and explicit dependency. Implicit dependency was measured via the Single Category-Implicit Association Test (SC-IAT), a test of implicit personality that has shown to have good validity and reliability in previous studies. In addition, we examined the effect of gender on this relationship, given the potential role of gender stereotype that may make male participants show lower levels of dependency when measured through self-report (vs. SC-IAT). Results showed that implicit and explicit dependency indeed had separate and distinct relationships, and the relationships depends on participants' gender. Among female participants, increased explicit dependency predicted depression only when implicit dependency was also elevated. In contrast, explicit dependency predicted depression regardless of the level of implicit dependency in male participants. These findings suggest that implicit and explicit dependency may be separate parameters capturing different aspects of dependent personality traits, further supporting the need to consider the implicit aspect of personality in personality assessment research. Implications and limitations of the current findings and directions for future research are discussed.

본 연구는 동물병원 산업에서 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동과 동물병원의 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 사업성과/재무적 및 비재무적에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 체계적으로 분석하고, 동물병원 경영자의 특성 (경영자의 근속연수)과 동물병원의 사업입지가 이들 영향관계에서 어떠한 조절역할을 하는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동은 동물병원의 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과 모두에 유의적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동은 동물병원 경영자의 근속연수에 따라 사업성과에 유의적인 영향을 미치나, 동물병원의 입지에 따른 동물병원의 시장지향성은 동물병원의 사업성과 유의적인 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 동물병원의 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동은 동물병원의 재무적 성과 및 비재무적 성과에 대부분 정의 방향으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 동물병원 경영자의 근속연수에 따라 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구에서, 경영자가 4년 이상 장기간 근속한 경우 관계지향성 활동이 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과에 정의 방향으로 영향을 미치지 않았고 비재무적 성과에는 비교적 약하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 동물병원의 사업입지에 따라 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구결과에서, 비 수도권에서 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 재무적 및 비재무적 성과에 매우 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 수도권에서는 관계지형성활동이 재무적 및 비재무적 성과에 모두 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 요약하면, 동물병원의 시장지향성 활동과 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동이 동물병원의 재무적 및 비재무적 사업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 전반적인 연구에서, 시장지향성은 동물병원의 사업성과에 일관되게 영향을 미치지만, 공급업체와의 관계지향성 활동은 경영자의 근속기간 및 사업입지에 따라 사업성과에 다른 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 동물병원 경영자의 근속연수나 사업입지에 따라 동물병원의 사업전략을 선택적으로 접목해야 함을 알 수 있다. 마지막으로 연구결과에 따른 시사점, 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향에 대해 논의를 하였다.

This paper investigates the linear stability of wakes with special emphasis on the effect of chemical reaction. Velocity and density profiles for laminar flows are obtained from analytic profiles as well as from simulation. Wakes have two generalized inflection points and two unstable modes-sinuous and varicose modes. For analytical laminar profiles, sinuous modes are more unstable than varicose modes irrespective of density variation, which shows wakes will be destabilized by sinuous modes. Large velocity difference and density difference lead to more unstable wakes due to large momentum difference. For simulated laminar profiles, chemical reaction with stoichiometric chemistry increases temperature and stabilizes the flow due to increase in compressible reacting wades, flow becomes stable as velocity increases due to viscous dissipation.

This study measured the photocatalytic activities of five $TiO_2$ samples commercially available in terms of the degradation rate of nine organic substrates. Efforts were made to correlate the activities with the properties of both catalysts and substrates but little correlation was found. The result clearly shows that the photocatalytic activities sensitively depend on the kind of the test substrates, which strongly supports the fact that the activity measured with one or two model compounds cannot represent the overall performance of a photocatalyst. Therefore, this multi-aspect and inconsistent activity of photocatalytic reaction should be fully understood prior to establish the standard protocol for the activity determination.

In Korean Cosmetic Act, four uses of functional cosmetics are recognized: skin whitening, anti-wrinkle, UV protection or suntan. Cosmeceuticals, one of the functional cosmetics, have been specifically developed for medical and cosmetic benefits. However, the uses of cosmeceuticals in patent applications are not limited to those of functional cosmetics, and the number is increasing with variety of medical use claims such as anti-inflammatory, prevention of hair loss, or obesity in cosmeceutical patent applications. Since some of the cosmeceutical use claims are not clearly distinguished from medical use claims in pharmaceuticals, there has been a controversy over the extent of granting patents regarding the medical use of cosmeceuticals. In this article, we have investigated the range of medical uses in patented claims of functional cosmetics, summarized examiners' views and discussed the examination practice of cosmetic-related inventions in the United States, Europe, and Japan.

This study explored the official memory of Korean War through the photographs of pictorial history books. The object of this study was two books of pictorial history that were published in America and China. Two books are Pictorial History of Korean War and The Glories of the People's Army of China. This study investigated symbolic meanings of the Korean War photographs through content analysis and visual analysis. This study analyzed the difference of official memory of Korean War in America and China. In Pictorial History of Korean War, the superiority of military strength was the memory of Korean War. While in The Glories of the People's Army of China, the superiority of socialism was the memory of Korean War. The Korean War photography actualized particular interpretations on Korean War.

The purpose of the paper Is to discuss and estimate early Popper's theory of probability, which is presented in his book, The Logic of of Scientific Discovery. For this, Von Mises' frequency theory shall be discussed in detail, which is regarded as the most systematic and sophisticated frequency theory among others. Von Mises developed his theory to response to various critical questions such as how finite and empirical collectives can be represented in terms of infinite and mathematical collectives, and how the axiom of randomness can be mathematically formulated. But his theory still has another difficulty, which is concerned with the inconsistency between the axiom of convergence and the axiom of randomness. Defending the objective theory of probability, Popper tries to present his own frequency theory, solving the difficulty. He suggests that the axiom of convergence be given up and that the axiom of randomness be modified to solve Von Mises' problem. That is, Popper introduces the notion of ordinal selection and neighborhood selection to modify the axiom of randomness. He then shows that Bernoulli's theorem is derived from the modified axiom. Consequently, it can be said that Popper solves the problem of inconsistency which is regarded as crucial to Von Mises' theory. However, Popper's suggestion has not drawn much attention. I think it is because his theory seems anti-intuitive in the sense that it gives up the axiom of convergence which is the basis of the frequency theory So for more persuasive frequency theory, it is necessary to formulate the axiom of randomness to be consistent with the axiom of convergence.

최근 들어 많은 정보 시스템들이 클라이언트/서버 환경에서 개발되고 있다. 클라이언트/서버 정보 시스템은 기존의 정보 시스템에 비해 복잡도가 높은 시스템이므로, 시스템 개발 시 체계적인 개발 방법론의 적용이 필요하다. 객체 지향 개발 방법론은 객체 지향 개념에 기반하여 시스템의 재사용성, 확장성, 신뢰성, Scalability를 증진시킬 수 있는 방법론이다. 본 연구에서는 객체 지향 방법론에서 클라이언트/서버 정보 시스템 설계 작업을 체계적으로 수행하기 위한 기법과 절차를 제시한다. 이러한 기법은 설계 작업시 사용자 인터페이스에 대한 충분한 고려가 가능하고, 설계 객체의 규명을 체계적으로 지원하고, 응용 시스템 논리를 일관성 있게 배분할 수 있도록 도와준다. 한국과학기술원의 인텔리전트 캠퍼스 프로젝트에서 개발된 학사 시스템의 적용 사례와 함께 본 연구에서 제시하고 있는 객체 지향 설계 기법에 대해 소개한다.

정보시스템 기능이 아웃소싱이 정보시스템 효율과 효과성을 향상시킬 수 있는 전 략으로 고려됨에 따라 소싱유형의 결정요인을 식별하는 것은 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연 구는 은행 산업에 있어서 데이터 처리 서비스의 소싱결정에 영향을 주는 요인을 조사하였 다. 아웃소싱을 관리적 혁신으로 볼 때, 혁신특성으로서 상대적 이점과 위험성이 소싱 유형 의 중요한 결정요인으로 제시된다. 미국의 1,000개 은행을 대상으로 한 현장연구(field survey)의 결과는 상대적 이점과 보안위험이 소싱유형 및 아웃소싱 선호도와 유의한 관계가 있다는 것을 보여주었다. 또한 대규모 은행이 소규모 은행보다 아웃소싱에 대해 더 큰 자율 성 위험을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 자율성 위험과 두 종속 변수와의 관계에 대해서는 비일관적인 결과가 나타났고, 정보시스템 기능의 중요성과 소싱유형 및 선호도와 의 관계, 조직규모와 상대적 이점과의 관계를 연구결과가 충분히 지지하지 못하고 있다.
