3-Dimensional Path Planning and Guidance using the Dubins Curve for an 3-DOF Point-Mass Aircraft Model (Dubins 곡선을 이용한 항공기 3자유도 질점 모델의 3차원 경로계획 및 유도)

  • 본 논문에서는 항공기의 3자유도 질점 모델과 Dubins 곡선을 이용한 3차원 경로생성 알고리즘 및 비선형 경로추종 유도기법을 통합하여 항공기의 경로계획을 위해 적용한 경로생성 알고리즘을 검증하고, 경로추종 성능과 항공교통관리를 위한 시뮬레이션에 3자유도 질점 항공기 모델 사용의 타당성을 확인하였다. 최적경로 생성을 위해 사용된 Dubins 곡선의 경우 계산속도가 빠르고 경로계획에 바로 적용이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 하지만 주로 2차원 상의 경로문제를 다루기 때문에 이를 3차원 비행경로로 확장시킨 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 경로추종을 위한 유도제어법칙은 Specific Acceleration 명령을 통해 자세를 제어하는 비선형 경로추종 유도법칙을 활용하였으며, 이에 대한 결과를 확인하였다.

  • 에이전트를 이용하여 의견을 교환하여 타협안을 찾거나. 혹은 양자간 협상 시 양쪽의 에이전트는 각자의 이익을 최대로 하려고 한다. 하지만 한쪽이 많은 이득을 많이 취할 경우 상대방의 이익은 줄어들게 되고 손해를 본 사용자는 에이전트의 신뢰를 잃게 된다. 본 연구에서는 다중 사용자, 다중 속성, 비선형 협상 전략 환경에서 유틸리티 함수와 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 양쪽에게 균등한 이익이 돌아감과 동시에 최대의 이익이 되는 제안을 생성하는 중개 에이전트의 핵심 알고리즘을 구현하는 것이 논문의 목적이다.

  • This paper is concerned with the control of multiple nonlinearities included in a humanoid robot system. A humanoid robot has some problems such as the structural instability, which leads to consider the control of multiple nonlinearities caused by driver parts as well as gear reducer. Saturation and backlash are typical examples of nonlinearities in the system. The conventional algorithms of backlash control were fuzzy algorithm, disturbance observer and neural network, etc. However, it is not easy to control the system by employing only single algorithm since the system usually includes multiple nonlinearities. In this paper, a switching Pill is considered for a control of saturation and a dual feedback algorithm is proposed for a backlash control. To implement the above algorithms, the system identification is firstly performed for the minimization of the difference between the results of simulation and experiment, and then the switching Pill gains are determined using genetic algorithm with some heuristic approach. The performance of the switching Pill controller for saturation and the dual feedback for backlash control is investigated through the simulation. Finally, it is shown that the implemented control system has good results and can be applied to the real humanoid robot system ISHURO.

Study on the Effective Compensation of Quantization Error for Machine Learning in an Embedded System (임베디드 시스템에서의 양자화 기계학습을 위한 효율적인 양자화 오차보상에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper. we propose an effective compensation scheme to the quantization error arisen from quantized learning in a machine learning on an embedded system. In the machine learning based on a gradient descent or nonlinear signal processing, the quantization error generates early vanishing of a gradient and occurs the degradation of learning performance. To compensate such quantization error, we derive an orthogonal compensation vector with respect to a maximum component of the gradient vector. Moreover, instead of the conventional constant learning rate, we propose the adaptive learning rate algorithm without any inner loop to select the step size, based on a nonlinear optimization technique. The simulation results show that the optimization solver based on the proposed quantized method represents sufficient learning performance.

  • This paper presents the new design method of fuzzy control system for nonlinear system. Many conventional design methods for fuzzy controller find the control gain for stabilizing fuzzy controller with some mathematical approaches. However, there exist some controllers which are hard to design with mathematical approach. In order to solve these problems, we propose the intelligent design method for fuzzy controller by using genetic algorithm with evolution strategy. The genetic algorithm with evolution strategy finds the control gain by changing the evolution region of chromosome. Finally, an application example of stabilizing a cart-pole typed inverted pendulum system will be given to show the stabilizability of the fuzzy controller.

  • For the shake of control for movement object, control theory like neural network, nonlinear model predictive control(NMPC) is realized on digital high speed computer. Predictor of flight control system(FCS) based nonlinear model predictive control has to be satisfied with response for hard real-time to perform applications on each module in the FCS. Simultaneously, It gives a serious consideration accuracy to give full play to FCS's performance. Error of mathematical aspect affects realization of whole algorithm. But factors of bring mathematical error is not considered to calculate final accuracy on parameter of predictor. In this paper, Predictor was made using load control model on the digital computer for design FCS at hard real-time and is shown response time on realization algorithm. And is shown realization algorithm of high effective predictor over the accuracy. The predictor was realized on the load control model using Euler method, Heun method, Runge-Kutta and Taylor method.

Analysis of Noise Influence on a Chaotic Series and Application of Filtering Techniques (카오스 시계열에 대한 잡음영향 분석과 필터링 기법의 적용)

  • We studied noise influence on nonlinear chaotic system by using Logistic data series which is known as a typical nonlinear chaotic system. We regenerated Logistic data series by the method of adding noise according to noise level. And, we performed some analyses such as phase space reconstruction, correlation dimension, BDS statistics, and DVS Algorithms which are known as the methods of nonlinear deterministic or chaotic analysis. If we see the results of analysis, the characteristics of data series are gradually changed from nonlinear chaotic data series to random stochastic data series according to increasing noise level. We applied Low Pass Filter (LPF) and Kalman Filter techniques for the investigation of removing effect of the added noise to data series. Typical nonparametric method cannot distinguish nonlinear random series but the BDS statistic can distinguish the nonlinear randomness of the time series. Therefore this study used the BDS statistic which is well known as nonlinear statistical method for the investigation of randomness of time series for the effect of removing noise of data series. We found that Kalman filter is better method to remove the noise of chaotic data series even for high noise level.

Performance Improvement on Fuzzy C-Means Algorithm for Nonlinear Blind Channel Equalization (비선형 블라인드 채널등화를 위한 퍼지 클러스터 알고리즘의 성능개선)

  • In this paper, a modified Fuzzy C-Means (MFCM) algorithm is presented for nonlinear blind channel equalization. The proposed MFCM searches the optimal channel output states of a nonlinear channel from the received symbols, based on the Bayesian likelihood fitness function instead of a conventional Euclidean distance measure. Next, the desired channel states of a nonlinear channel are constructed with the elements of estimated channel output states, and placed at the center of a Radial Basis Function (RBF) equalizer to reconstruct transmitted symbols. In the simulations, binary signals are generated at random with Gaussian noise. The performance of the proposed method is compared with that of a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA merged with simulated annealing (SA): GASA), and the relatively high accuracy and fast searching speed are achieved.

  • This paper deal with uncertainty problem by using Type-2 fuzzy logic set for nonlinear system modeling. We design Type-2 fuzzy logic system in which the antecedent and the consequent part of rules are given as Type-2 fuzzy set and also analyze the performance of the ensuing nonlinear model with uncertainty. Here, the apexes of the antecedent membership functions of rules are decided by C-means clustering algorithm and the apexes of the consequent membership functions of rules are learned by using back-propagation based on gradient decent method. Also, the parameters related to the fuzzy model are optimized by means of particle swarm optimization. The proposed model is demonstrated with the aid of two representative numerical examples, such as mathematical synthetic data set and Mackey-Glass time series data set and also we discuss the approximation as well as generalization abilities for the model.

  • In this paper, we introduce an inference system using hard scatter partition method and model the nonlinear process. To do this, we use the hard scatter partition method that partition the input space in the scatter form with the value of the membership degree of 0 or 1. The proposed method is implemented by C-Means clustering algorithm. and is used for the initial center values by means of binary split. by applying the LBG algorithm to compensate for shortcomings in the sensitive initial center value. Hard-scatter-partitioned input space forms the rules in the rule-based system modeling. The premise parameters of the rules are determined by membership matrix by means of C-Means clustering algorithm. The consequence part of the rules is expressed in the form of polynomial functions and the coefficient parameters of each rule are determined by the standard least-squares method. The data widely used in nonlinear process is used to model the nonlinear process and evaluate the characteristics of nonlinear process.
