고속전자밸브를 사용한 전기유압서보시스템의 위치제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Position Control of an Electro-Hydraulic Servo System Using High Speed On-Off Valves)

  • This paper presents position control of an electro-hydraulic servo system whoch is operated by four 2-2way high speed on-off valves with either PWM PID control method or sliding mode control method, The advantages of using high speed on-off valves instead of electo-hydraulic servo valves or electro-hydraulic proportional valves are low price robustness for oil contamination and direct control without a D/A converter. The system consists of load cylinder inertia car potentiometer and external load cylinder. The experiments were carried out under several conditions and the results were compared. As a result the sliding mode method has shown good control performance and the robust and stable positioning of the elector-hydraulic servo system can be achieved accurately.

스마트폰을 이용한 사용자 활동상태 추정 어플리케이션 구현 (Implementation of User Activity State Estimation Application using Smartphone)

  • 본 연구에서는 스마트폰을 이용하여 사용자의 활동상태를 추정할 수 있는 안드로이드 기반의 어플리케이션을 구현하였다. 이는 추가적인 센서를 사용하지 않고 항시 휴대하는 스마트폰을 이용함으로써 착용형의 시스템과 비교하여 사용자의 불편함을 최소화하여 활동상태를 추정할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 스마트폰 내부에 내장된 3축가속도센서 각 축의 변화량을 추출하였으며, 각 축에 대한 변화량과 활동량이 비례하여 나타나는 것을 이용하여, 변화량을 크기로 변환하는 SVM(Single Vector Magnitude)을 계산하였다. 또한 SVM의 절대값을 시간에 적분한 ISVM(Integral Single Vector Magnitude)을 통해 활동량을 정량화 하였으며, 천천히 걷기와 빠르게 걷기, 뛰기, 서있기로 이루어진 실험을 통해 활통상태 분류를 하였다. 또한 그 결과를 실시간으로 모니터링하기 위한 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 구현함으로써 추가적인 설비 없이 활동상태를 추정하였다.

  • Magnetic levitation system is nonlinear and inherently unstable, so it is difficult to control. Analog control circuit was widly used as the controller of magnetic levitation system, but digital controller is now substituted for analog controller according to development of digital electronics. In this study, Atmel AVR series, ATmega 128 which is a kind of $\mu$-processor for digital controller is used because the chip is cheap and popular. We designed and made ATmega 128 one-board controller and aimed to verify validity through the experiance of levitation response.

급격한 에어콘 외란에 안정한 제어기 설계 (Design of Stable Controller to Sudden A/C Disturbance)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study on the control of the engine idle speed under sudden A/C load which is one of the most severe disturbances on engines. Three types of the closed-loop controller are developed for the stable engine idle speed control. The input of the controller is an error of rpm. The output of the controller is an ISCV duty cycle. The anticipation delay is considered to deal with the delay time of the air mass in engine. The PID, Fuzzy and PID-type Fuzzy controllers with the anticipation delay have improved the engine idle speed condition more than current ECU map table under the A/C load.

  • A PID controller integrated with a velocity feedback is designed for fluid power elevator model system in this study. In this case, for outside disturbance load a hydraulic cylinder and a pressure control valve are used. In this method overshoot is reduced and settling time becomes also shorter than the values achieved from the PID controller system only In conclusion a PID controller integrated with a velocity feedback is considered a suitable control method for fluid power elevator system.

미분형 Maxwell 유체내 구형기포의 수축에 관한연구 (A Study on the Collapse of Spherical bubbles in Maxwell Fluids of Differential Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 구형기포가 미분형의 upper convected Maxwell 모델을 따르는 유체 내에서 수축할 때의 현상을 이론적으로 해석하였다. 수치해법으로는 Lagrangian 좌표계에서 지배방정식을 유도 사용함으로써 자연스럽게 자유표면을 추적하는 동시에 압력변수도 반복 에 의하지 않고 직접적인 방법으로 계산할 수 있는 Galerkin-유한요소법을 개발사용하였다. 본연구의 결과 유체의 탄성은 변형초기에 충분히 발달치 못하기 때문에 수축을 가속화시키 지만 수축 후기에는 지연시킴을 알 수 있었다. 수축의 속도는 적분형 Maxwell 유체에서 보 다 빠른 것을 알수 있었는데 이는 유체의 정지이력에 의한 것으로 판단되었다, 또한 Maxwell 유체내에서 기포가 수축할 경우 탄성에 의한 반동현상이 나타나며 반동이 점성에 의하여 감쇄될 때의 진폭과 주기는 비례함을 보였다.

  • The key point that guarantees the durability of the ceramic monolith filter is to lower peak temperature and temperature gradient inside filter during regeneration. The control of the exhaust gas flow rate into the filter, by the bypass technique of the exhaust gas, enables the gas temperature in filter to be constant for regeneration. A couple of methods, which are the ON/OFF and PID control of the bypass valve, were used for feedback control of the gas temperature. These techniques showed that the ceramic filter was regenerated perfectly under the peak temperature and peak temperature gradient limitations for durability.

멀티형 히트펌프 전자팽창밸브의 디더 신호를 적용한 과열도 제어 (EEV Superheat Control of a Multi-type Heat Pump by Using Dither Signal)

  • The electronic expansion valve (EEV) may be used to control the refrigerant flow rate for the multi-type heat pump. Stepping motor driven EEV may precisely control the refrigerant flow rate to meet each internal load requirement. To control the EEV, PI algorithm may be used. But the hysteresis of EEV deteriorates the performance of superheat control. To reduce the performance degradation, the PI algorithm along with the dither signal may be used. The dither signal, with about 10 times higher frequency than the system crossover frequency and about 10 times larger magnitude than the deadband of hysteresis, was selected for the superheat control of EEV. Experimental results showed the improvement of EEV control by adding the dither signal to the PI algorithm.

모델 맷칭법에 의한 디젤기관의 속도제어 (Speed Control of a Diesel Engine by Means of the Model Matching Method)

  • The existing digital governors are in the beginning stage. Placing the focus on the marine site, most of the digital governors developed are still using the simple PID algorithm. But, the performance of a diesel engine is widely changed according to the parameters of the PID controller. So, this article describes a new method to adjust the parameters of the PID controller in a marine digital governor. In this paper, the diesel engine is considered as a nonoscillatory second order system. A new method to adjust the parameters of the PID controller for speed control of a diesel engine is proposed by means of the model matching method. Also, the simulations by numerical methods are carried out in cases of the exact understanding or out of the parameters of a diesel engine respectively. And this paper confirms that the proposed new method here is superior to Ziegler & Nichols's method through the comparisons and analysis of the characteristics of indicial responses.

게임기용 운동재현기의 하위제어기 설계 (A Development of Sub-Controller for Game Motion Simulator)

  • The Grand-Touring is a game motion simulator that simulates the race-car driving motion with three hydraulic cylinders which connect the platform and base in parallel. Its motion control system consists of the PC-based main controller and micro-controller based sub-controller. The former one process the dynamic image of race-car in response to the driver's action and computes the reference command for each cylinder and the latter one is designed for the tracking control of hydraulic cylinder and interfacing the auxiliary signals between various sensors/actuator and main controller. In this research, we developed the sub-controller that implements the required functions of Grand-Touring and prove the overall performance with experiments.
