A Numerical Analysis on the Airflow Characteristics in Super Cleanrooms with Different Design Types (초청정 클린룸 공조방식에 따른 기류특성에 관한 수치해석)

  • We performed the numerical analysis on the airflow characteristics in the two type of cleanroom systems, which are the axial fan type (AFT) and the fan filter unit (FFU). A computational fluid dynamic model was applied to investigate and compare the nonuniformity, the deflection angle and the air ventilation effectiveness of the two designs of cleanrooms when dampers are adjusted and not adjusted. And the flow-resistance models of the various components were used in this simulation. We know that the airflow characteristics of the cleanrooms are largely affected by damper adjusting And we also find out that the FFU system is superior to the AFT system through the comparison of the cleanroom performance indices.

  • 대부분의 가정용 냉난방겸용 공기조화기(히트펌프)는 실외온도가 $5^{\circ}C$ 이하이고, 습도가 높은 저온고습조건에서 난방운전을 하면 열교환기 표변에 서리가 발생하고, 이로 인해 시스템의 성능이 떨어지게 된다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 어느 일정 조건이나 시간이 되면 히트펌프는 제상운전을 하게 되는데, 보통의 가정용 히트펌프의 경우 난방운전도중에 사이클을 냉방운전으로 전환하여 실외 열교환기의 온도를 높여 줌으로써 제상을 하는 방식 (Cycle reversing method)을 사용하고 있다. 이 방식은 부가적인 제상회로플 구성하 거나 히터를 첨가하는 등의 재료비 증가 없이 제상을 수행한다는 장점이 있으나, 시스템의 에너지 효율 측면에서 불리할 뿐만 아니라, 소비자의 입장에서 보면 제상운전이 진행되는동안에 따뜻한 바람이 공급되지 않아 쾌적한 공조를 제공받지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 본 자료에서는 먼저 제상방석에 관하여 그 종류와 특정을 알아보고, 최근에 진행되고 있는 착상 지연기술 중 어큐물레이터 내에 히터를 설치하는 방식(Viung C. Mei, et al., 2002, ASHRAE TRANSSACTIONS, V 108, Pt. 1)에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • 각종 홀 (음악홀, 극장, 사무실건물)의 공조 덕트계에는 미로형소음챔버가 설 치되는 경우가 많다. 이러한 소음장치를 건물내부에 설치하는 경우에는 건물 설계단계에서부터 소음챔버로 인한 감음양(투과손실 : Transmission Loss)의 예측계산이 중요하다. 그렇지만, 일반적인 소음장치는 그 형상이나 내표면의 흡음조건이 아주 복잡하기 때문에, 현단계에서는 간단한 이론만으로 투과손 실예측이 거의 불가능하다. 지금까지 이 문제에 대해서 유한요소법(Finite Element Method : FEM)을 이용해 검토한 예가 종종 소개되었으나, 대부분 소음챔버의 입구와 출구에서의 임의의 점에 대한 음압비를 투과손실로서 구 하고 있다. 그러나, 소음기자체의 실질적인 투과손실특성을 알기 위해서는 소음기의 입력 파워에 대한 출력파워의 비로서 구하지 않으면 안된다. 따라 서, 본 연구에서는 유한요소법에 의한 복소음향인텐시티(Complex sound intensity)의 수치계산법을 각종소음기 (팽창형, 미로형)의 투과손실해석에 적 용하기 위하여 이론적인 면에서 고찰했으며, 프로그램도 개발하여 모델해석 에 적용하였다. 또한, 위에서 언급된 수치해석법의 타당성의 검증을 위하여, 측정에 의한 투과손실예측방법으로서 크로스스펙트럼(Cross Spectrum)법에 의한 음향인텐시티계측법의 이용에 대해서 이론적으로 고찰했으며, 그 이론 을 기초로 한 축척 모형실험을 병행하였다.

  • Using small cameras such as smartphones, criminals shoot secretly in public restrooms and women's changing rooms. And Revenge porn is also increasing. As a result social damage is increasing. Tumblr is an overseas service and it is very difficult to work with Tumbler on international legal cooperation and deletions. Thus In order to block the distribution of videos, victims must find and report the video URL themselves. But it's hard for victims who lack IT expertise to proceed those procedure. In this study, we automatically collect the URL of stored information and hash values of the images from API permlink of Tumbler blog. It is then saved as a document file with and presented to the victim. Through these technical methods, we can help victims report violations easily and quickly.

  • Chilled Beam system is the kind of water-air system which reduces the conveyance energy for air conditioning as well as allows efficient installation and comfortable indoor environment, and has been increasingly popular mainly in Europe. To effectively install such Chilled Beam system domestically, it is necessary to develop the product considering domestic climatic condition and the requirements for air conditioning system, and particularly the way to deal with condensation during operation of cooling system in summer shall be provided. In this study, the optimal design on induction structure of Chilled Beam unit was carried out through a numerical method, and the performance test for the prototype of unit was conducted in a real-scale experiment facilities of Chilled Beam unit. While the flowrate of 1st air is 101.3 CMH, the pressure in pressure chamber is 158.7 Pa and the cooling capacities of 1st air side and 2nd air side are 498.1 W and 709.5 W respectively.

A Study on Response Characteristics of ionization Smoke Detector Influenced by Air Stream (이온화식 연기감지기의 기류응답특성 연구)

  • Recently, forced ventilating air conditioning system has been widely used in modern buildings. However, It is obvious that this kind of system may affect on the response of fire detectors at real fire incidents, especially, on the ionization smoke detector, which is critically influenced by air stream. Therefore we studied to verify the response characteristics of air stream by ionization smoke detector for the design of facilities in practice. In this study, experiments were executed to examine the correlation between air velocity and the ionization detector's responses with var-ious air velocity and smoke densities in the simulated test room. As a result of experiments, ionization detector's operating time is in reverse proportion to air velocity. And the detector shows more sensitive reaction when the velocity of smoke stream increase over 60 cm/s. In addition, it was shown that ionization smoke detector is more sensitive to smoldering fires in paper than that in petro-chemicals.

In-situ Performance Evaluation of a Ground Source Heat Pump for an Air Conditioning System (공조시스템용 지열히트펌프의 실증평가에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the ground source heat pump was installed at a research center in Jeju Island to verify the performance of the system and to give an information for a economic feasibility. The performance test was conducted until the heat storage tank temperature reached at $5^{\circ}C$ from $50^{\circ}C$ in the cooling operation, and until the storage temperature goes up to $50^{\circ}C$ from $10^{\circ}C$ in the heating mode. As results, the system performance shows that $2.2{\sim}3.5$ for the cooling operation and $2.5{\sim}3.5$ for heating operation. It is found that the underground is good heat source for the heat pump with $3{\sim}10^{\circ}C$ variation range. The ground source heat pump could be connected one of air conditioning system without any problem in system performance. Based on the economic analysis, the initial cost for the ground source heat pump will be compensated after 4 years operation. If the system runs 20 years, approximately 300 million Won will be saved when the air conditioning system adapt the ground source heat pump based on Life Cycle Cost analysis.

  • 전세계적인 에너지 절약과 환경보존에 대한 관심과 요구가 증가함에 따라 소비전력규제와 CFC삭감에 대응한 국제경쟁력 확보가 중요한 과제로 대두 되고 있다. 이러한 상황변화에 따라 냉동 공조기기의 심장부인 압축기에 대 해서도 고효율 및 저소음화의 요구가 한층 높아졌다. 따라서 가혹한 환경에 도 견딜 수 있는 압축기의 개발은 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 소형밀폐형 압축 기는 크게 두 부분으로 나뉘어진다. 그 하나는 모터에 의한 회전구동부이고, 다른 하나는 실린더와 피스톤 그리고 밸브로 구성된 압축기구부이다. 그 중 에서 밸브는 진동 및 소음에 영향을 미치는 기본요소가 된다. 압축기의 밸브 는 근본적으로 밸브포트와 실린더 형상에 의해 결정되며, 이런 형상조건하에 서 밸브는 연속적인 운전이 되어야 하므로, 그 응답성이 좋아야 하고 무엇보 다도 자체의 신뢰성도 확보되어야 한다. 따라서 밸브의 동적특성과 응력 분 포를 정확히 예측하는 것이 중요한 과제가 된다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터를 이 용한 밸브의 동적특성과 응력해석을 위해 밸브의 형상을 유한요소 패키지인 ANSYS를 이용하여 해석하고, 그 모델링 및 해석이 타당성을 검토하기 위하 여 동적 특성해석은 홀로그래피(Holography) 기술을 이용하여 실험하고, 응 력해석은 스트레인 게이지(strain gage)를 이용하여 결과를 얻어서 서로 비 교하여 보았다.

Performance Characteristics of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning System Using Hydrocarbon Refrigerants (탄화수소계 냉동공조 시스템의 성능특성에 관한 실험)

  • Environmentally friendly refrigerants with zero ozone layer depletion potential are required to be used in refrigerators and air conditioners due to the difficulties related to ozone layer depletion and global warming. A rigorous study for the system performance with new refrigerants having zero ozone layer depletion potential is inevitable before adopting that as a new fluid. The HFC(Hydrofluorocarbon) potential has been recommended as alternatives. In this paper. system performance in the heat pump facilities were studied using R-290, R-600a. R-1270 as an environment friendly refrigerant. R-22 as a HCFC's refrigerant. The experimental apparatus has been set-up as a conventional vapor compression type heat Pump system. The test section is a horizontal double pipe heat exchanger. A tube diameter of 12.70mm with 1.315mm wall thickness is used for this investigation. The test results showed that the COP of hydrocarbon refrigerants were superior to that of R-22 and the maximum increasing rate of COP was found in R-1270. The refrigeration capacity of hydrocarbon refrigerants were higher than that of R-22. The compressor work was obtained with the maximum value in R-1270 and the minimum one in R-22.

Thermal Design of a Cooling Coil for Building Air Conditioning (건물 공조용 냉수 코일의 열 설계)

  • The surface of the cooling coil becomes dry, wet or partially wet depending on the operating condition. Thus, a proper design of the cooling coil should include a heat transfer analysis on dry, wet or partially wet surfaces. In this study, an elementary model, which analyzes the cooling on an elementaty basis, is proposed. Comparison of the predictions of the model with experimental data of the cooling coil revealed that heat transfer rates were predicted within 10.1%, airside pressure drop within 11.1% and sensible heat ratio within 5.7%. The model was used to investigate the effect of water circuitory on cooling coil performance.
