Research about the Influence of Color Communication on Brand Images - based on Industrial Logos (컬러커뮤니케이션이 브랜드 이미지에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 - 기업 로고를 중심으로)

  • We can expect an effective color marketing to build up a positive industrial image as it is easy for consumer to approach due to the ability of colors to affect human consciousness and sub-consciousness more than any other factor. The purpose of this research is to draw attention to the importance of color communication and to find strategies to elevate the brand image by surveying the degree of influence color communication has when forming a brand image. In order to conduct effective research, we executed theoretical and collaborative analysis through research materials and documents. If you take a look at the outcome of this research, brands that brings credibility and likability to its customers are not brands that uses color communication, but brands that utilize marketing strategies that build up credibility for quite some time. Also, preference over colors are distinctive. It turned out to be that the color of a brand logo that one likes has very little to do with one's favorite color. When people choose a brand, they are choosing the brand not because of the color of the brand logo, but its credibility and likability that the brand offers. It proves that the color of the brand logo has nothing to do with the colors that people prefer. The relationship between the color that consumers prefer and the image and emotional color that forms brand image is negligible. However, since research shows that there was a relationship between the color you prefer and the emotional color that forms brand images, it seems to be important to figure out what color customers prefer rather than the color that shows customers' self image. Unlike existing color communication research, through this research, we would like to know how to utilize the color communication strategically in the forming of brand images and take a look at the relationship between customers' preferences and the image of each brand logo's emotional color.

  • Today, consumers are interested in branded apps as new marketing channels. Consumers do not have ready access to information that will enable them to judge the quality of a particular product or service before purchase, but they will gain such information with branded apps. As they need to be actively chosen and downloaded to users' smartphone by the users themselves, branded apps have greater marketing effectiveness and influence than traditional channels. Therefore, corporations that place emphasis on interactions with customers anticipate a new marketing effect with their branded apps. With previous research on smartphone applications as a background, this research finds key factors in branded apps that influence users' satisfaction. Additionally, the study centers on the relationship in which satisfaction in the branded app significantly influences the purchase intention for the branded product/service.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Trans Media Brand Experience on Brand Image, Brand Preference, and Purchase Intent. Trans Media experience refers the act of enjoying contents by crossing a number of different media. With the advance of digital convergence, brand experience communication has become more diverse. This study focuses on one particular Trans Media case, Bacchus Self-Scanner by using Smart PLS to analyze 119 participants on a structural equation model. The result shows that 1) brand experience has a positive impact(+) on brand image and purchase intent, 2) brand image has a positive impact(+) on Brand Preference and Purchase Intent, and 3) Brand Preference has a positive impact(+) on Purchase Intent. As the result shows, the empirical proof that Brand Experience affects not only the indirect-effect of Brand Image and Brand Preference but also Purchase Intent as the direct-effect, and that Brand Image can affect Brand Preference and Purchase Intent, will serve as strategic implications for Brand Experience and Brand Image.

Global Service Quality of Service Centers in Automotive Brands to Improve Consumer-brand Relationship Quality (소비자-브랜드 관계 품질 향상을 위한 자동차 브랜드 서비스 센터의 전반적 서비스 품질에 대한 연구)

  • This study aims to examine the impacts of service quality (SQ) on consumer-brand relationship quality (BRQ), the mediation effects of brand trust (BT) in those relationships and the moderated mediation effects of BT by the level of perceived product quality (PQ). A 376 valid sample was obtained from the consumers who have visited the service centers of automotive brands. The findings demonstrate the direct effects of SQ of the service centers in automotive brands on BRQ are not significant, while the mediation effects of BT between SQ and BRQ are significant. Moreover, the findings reveal that the mediation effects of BT in the lower perception group of PQ are stronger than those in the higher group. Based on these findings, not only the necessary roles of a service center to improve BRQ but also the transferring process from service centers' SQ to building a strong brand are discussed.

  • We've already living our lives in the 21s1 century. This century, even alone, means enormous changes and innovations. Namely, we have been encountering various forms of generation changes such as digital generation, globalization generation, consumer generation, and brand power generation. Among these, there have been extraordinary changes in consumers and the environment of consumer market, and it is noteworthy of paying attention to the transition of the leader of the consumer market from producers to consumers. Such changes will affect not only all fields related to market environment but also entire fields including future products and sales. Hereupon, it is intended to foresee and analyze the trend in the consumer market of the 21st century and investigate changes in the consumer market and the environment of consumers. Also, the world has brought a single space of economy along with globalization and the era of self-imposed competition, and multi-national enterprises have emerged and, at the same time, their brands can be seen around the world. Hence, they have been trying to maintain their own power brands for the century. In the past, brand meant the name of a product in general. But, in the present, it has another meaning such that the brand itself provides psychological satisfaction and trustworthiness. Hereupon, this study intends to foresee changes in the trend of the consumer market of the 21s1 century, to ,outlook the trend of the consumer market along with study of power brand strategies, and to pursue creative strategies for power brand.

  • Until now, There are many studies of reward program effect about retaining current customers. But main goal of this study is acquiring new customer in competitive environment. We also reveal strategic framework for maximizing acquisition of new customer. For increasing customer loyalty of non-use brand, we'd better to give Out My Own reward non-user immediately and for increasing customer loyalty of use brand we'd better to give In My own Brand user accumulatively. Implication of the results for markets and future research are discussed

The structural relationship between brand consistency and intention to purchase luxury fashion products: with a focus on the mediating effect of self-construal (명품 패션 제품의 브랜드 일치성과 구매의도의 구조적 관계: Self-Construal의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Luxury goods products have a steady stream of consumers, and the latest trend is the sell and purchase markets. The consumers age groups also vary widely. This research examined the mediating effect of self-construal of the relationship between brand consistency and intention to purchase luxury fashion products. The analysis classified the brand consistency of luxury fashion products as social, actual, and the deal. First, the order of consistency that had an effect on self-construal appeared in the order of social cohesion, actual coincidence, and ideal coincidence. Second, an analysis of mediating effect of self-construal showed that only self-construal appeared to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the intention to purchase and the actual and ideal consistency. Such result can be interpreted as that when purchasing luxury fashion products, consumers have a tendency to desire that the brand would express their personal image and that it would match the perception they had of the brand, rather than a tendency to perceive the brand as a tool to help them perform their desired social role. These results suggest that consumers who consume the brand desire to have their personalities and subjective environmental conditions well expressed.

  • 오늘날의 시장 환경에서 경쟁은 매우 치열하고, 발전의 길에서 상점들은 시대의 발전에 따른 여러 가지 요구에 직면하고 있다. 브랜드의 개선과 혁신은 브랜드의 업계 이미지를 새롭게 수립하기 위한 것이다. 소비자 및 시장 환경에서 상점의 전체적인 이미지가 자신의 전략적 포지셔닝과 상응하고 긴밀하게 결합하며, 관중들의 인상에서의 차이와 부족을 개선할 수 있도록, 상점의 특징에 초점을 맞춰 VI디자인을 개선하는 것은 상점의 경쟁력과 브랜드 이미지의 향상을 위한 필연적인 선택이 되었다. 상점의 특색을 직접적으로 표현할 수 있고, 가장 짧은 시간 내에 소비자들에게 상점의 정신적 이념과 주체 운영 범위를 표현하는 것은 VI디자인이 핵심적으로 추구하는 것이다. 본 논문은 현재 성숙한 비주얼 아이덴티티 시스템을 갖춘 브랜드의 VI디자인을 조사하고, 비교를 통해서, 이 서점의 VI디자인 개선의 필요성을 연구하였다.

Antecedents of Attitudes Toward Private Brands from the Perspective of Image Congruence (이미지 일치성 관점에서 본 유통업체 브랜드에 대한 태도 형성의 선행 변수들)

  • Despite importance of private brands in the retail industry, not many studies have been performed on factors affecting consumers' attitude formation toward private brands. This study tries to understand attitude formation toward private brands from the perspective of image congruence. Focusing on three types of image congruence-image congruence between a private brand and a consumer's self, image congruence between a store and a product category used for a private brand, and image congruence between a store and a consumer's self - this study explores relationships and effects of these three types of image congruence on attitudes toward private brands. According to results, image congruence between a private brand and a consumer's self has the strongest effect among three types of image congruence. Image congruence between a store and a product category also has a significant positive effect on attitudes toward private brands. Effects of image congruence between a store and a consumer's self on attitudes toward private brands were opposite to the hypothesized direction, and explanations about the unexpected result are provided.
