  • This paper is a proposal for edge weight prediction using neural networks to graph configurations of nodes and edges. Brand is one of the components of society. and one of the brand's most important strategies is geographical location strategy. This paper is focus on that strategy. In This paper propose two things: 1) Graph Configuration. node consists of brand store, edge consists of store-to-store relationships and edge weight consists of actual walk and drive distance values. 2) numbering edges and training neural networks to predict next store distance values. It is expected to be useful in analyzing successful brand geographical location strategies.

On the basis of theoretical study, we examined the strategic marketing skill and tactics of foreign products to devise a strategy for domestic cosmetics with the help of marketing mix of foreign competitors: so to say 4 Ps. The core of the empirical research is hereby the effect of consumers' behavior. The conclusion of the research can be summarized as following: the most important problem of domestic cosmetics industry is the poor brand power. It has been confirmed that the consumer needs are various and dynamic. Analysis of 4 Ps of marketing factors of foreign goods shows this very clearly. Consumers tend to rely upon the brand name of the product rather than the quality, when they don't have enough information or knowledge on the product. This conclusion teaches us to make an effective strategy of marketing. It is brand power and brand cultivating. This study may give domestic marketers a motive to predict the future and succeed in existence and prosperity.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the design identity visual elements of optical shop brand$\underline{s}$ in order to provide objective data necessary for optical shop brands' design development. Methods: This study examined the design identity concept of the optical shop brands and analyzed visual elements of brand design identity with a focus on the symbols of domestic franchise optical shops, type of a symbol mark, representation style of logo type, color usage, use or non-use of character, etc. Results: Many symbols were directly associated with the eyeglasses, such as eyeglasses and eyes, face and iris. Along with that, letters or figures were also observed. For the type of symbol, most types were found to have the designs that took spherical and word mark shapes. Particularly, the word mark type had English words more often than Korean words. For logo types, the gothic format was dominant. In relation to the thickness of letter, thick boldface type was commonly used. The combination of 2 degrees was the color frequency used most often in the optical shop brand design. For the frequency of color usage, black and red colors were used most often. Particularly, the orange color, as well as the black color, was also often used for the main color of symbols or logo types. Meanwhile, the characters were used only in some optical shop. Most characters were animals and expressed in the cartoon and graphical forms. Conclusions: Typifier, symbol mark, logo type, color, and character are the elements forming the basic development system for brand design identity. Systematic design is needed which clearly ensures the function and role along with the mutual consistency as a important visual component of the optical shop brand.

  • The more consumers feel the brand as authentic, the better the brand image and the higher the purchase intention, so companies actively seek to build brand authenticity. On the other hand, the quality of products perceived by consumers comprehensively in consideration of various factors such as performance, durability, and materials can affect brand authenticity. The purpose of this study is to present useful implications by building a research model for quality and brand authenticity from a marketing point of view, and empirical analysis. For this, product quality and brand authenticity were theoretically defined, the relationship between them was identified, and ultimately the influence of these concepts on brand image was examined. In detail, a survey was conducted on a total of 286 consumers to find out the quality of the product, authenticity of the brand, and brand image, and the product to be surveyed was S20, the latest mobile phone of S Electronics. As a result of empirical analysis, although quality had a statistically significant positive effect on brand authenticity, the degree was not greater than expected. In addition, quality had a statistically significant positive effect on brand image, and its degree was large, but when quality and brand authenticity were considered together, it was found that the regression coefficient of brand authenticity was larger than that of quality. This means a partial mediating effect of brand authenticity. Therefore, in order to enhance the brand image and purchase intention of SMEs/Venture companies, a strategy that build brand authenticity simultaneously in consideration of the components presented in this study will be more effective than a strategy that focuses only on quality. This study proposes a variety of theoretical and practical implications by empirically examining the relationship between brand authenticity and brand image perceived by consumers through quality from a marketing perspective, based on a research model that was not discussed in previous studies. In particular, this study proposes a plan to build brand authenticity from the perspective of SMEs/Ventures.

  • This study investigated the type of fashion brand concepts and derived the components of fashion brand concepts. A total of 125 brand concept texts of women's wear brands were collected from "2012/2013 Korea Fashion Brand Annual" (S. M. Kim, 2012). A qualitative research method was employed. To investigate the types of fashion brand concepts, the texts were classified into three types such as functional, symbolic, and experiential concepts, and four complex types such as functional/symbolic, functional/experiential, symbolic/experiential, and functional/symbolic/experiential concepts. Open coding and axial coding provided the components of fashion brand concepts. The results were as follows. First, an investigation of the types of fashion brand concepts indicated differences in the types of fashion brand concepts and the types of general product brand concepts. One content of a fashion brand concept could be interpreted as more than two concept types; consequently, many fashion brand concepts did not fit the notion of the types of general product brand concept. Most fashion brand concepts simultaneously encompassed more than two types of brand concepts at once. Second, the components of fashion brand concepts consisted of 55 subjects, 7 sub-categories (physical/intrinsic product characteristics, symbolic/conceptual product characteristics, target demographics, target consumer behavior, brand capability, brand values, and brand management/marketing) and 3 categories (product, target consumer, and brand).

  • The purpose of the study was to divide social commerce websites' information into components of product, price, service, and seller information, and to systematically analyze each component of information. A content analysis was used as a research methodology, and 100 webpages from social commerce websites were analyzed. As results, the social commerce websites provided basic information (front view, fabric contents, country of origin, care, color, size) for product information and emphasized price information, including discount rates, sales dues, product quantity, and the amount of products sold. They basically provided expected delivery date, delivery company, Q&A, and return/refund service for service information. In addition, they basically presented brand logo and brand name but need to add information about brand concepts, history and volume as seller information. This study suggested diverse theoretical and practical implications of social commerce information.

  • The primary purpose of this research is to develop and test a model that explains the process of how In-store experiences (physical environmental quality, personal interaction, product experience) through perceived risks and brand attitude influence purchase intention. Perceived risks and brand attitude are proposed as mediators that make a significant impact on purchase intention. Through structural equation modeling using 235 consumers who visited the experience store in IT Industry, we find that In-store experiences influence perceived risks, brand attitude and then enhance purchase intention. Thus, IT companies should make every effort to create In-store value for visited consumers. Based on these results, managerial implications for experience store operation and marketing strategy are discussed. Finally, limitation for this research and further research issues are suggested.
