일반적으로 피부 미용분야에서 건강모발과 손상모발을 구분하기 위해 전자현미경으로 촬영된 영상에서 모발의 벌어짐, 갈라짐, 젖혀짐, 탈락, 용해 등의 특징을 관찰하여 사용하고 있다. 그러나 주관적이고 정성적인 판단에 의존하기 때문에 수치적인 기준을 적용하는 객관성이 있는 판단이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 영상처리 분야에서 에지 특성이 영상 분류나 검색에 사용되는 점을 활용, 에지처리된 영상의 구간별 밝기 누적정보를 비교하여 건강모발과 손상모발의 구분이 가능함을 보인다.

본 고는 유럽 연합의 종합기술개발 프로그램인 ACTS의 개요, 기술 개발 분야, 과제의 공모 제도, National Host 운용, 기술영역(Technological Domain Chain)과 체인(Chain)의 분류 등 기술 개발을 위하여 취하고 있는 수행 체계 및 추진 방식, 그리고 현재 수행되고 있는 세부 기술 개발 대상 영역별 과제들을 개관하였다. 이는 최근, 보다 효율적인 정보통신 기술 개발 추진을 위해 다양한 변화와 전략을 모색하고 있는 국내 각 분야의 의사 결정에도 많은 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

본 논문은 감성공학 데이터의 지속적인 지표화를 위해 과정의 자동화를 제안하며 자동 지표화가 문서의 자동 요약과 유사하다는 점에 착안하여 문서 자동분류, 정보유형 추출, 특성언어 추출 및 문장 재구성이라는 단계별 기술의 기초가 되는 정보유형 및 핵심어, 그리고 특성표현을 통한 정보문 추출 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 감성공학 코퍼스 분석을 통한 본 연구는 감성공학 분야에서의 지식 관리 시스템과 자동 요약 시스템에 활용될 수 있다.

생물다양성정보는 크게 종(species) 정보와 내용(content) 정보로 나눠 데이터베이스화한다. 이때, 분야별 데이터베이스 통합은 종에 대한 횡적인 통합과 내용에 대한 종적인 통합이 동시에 이루어지며, 분류학자들에 의해 정의된 항목과 국제적인 GSD(Global Species Database) 구축의 표준이 되는 내용들을 기반으로 구성요소들의 표준화 정의와 XML기반 표준 DTD를 작성한다. 또한 분산되어 있는 데이터베이스를 대상으로 통합 검색이 가능하도록 Mediator기법을 적용하여 관리시스템을 설계하였다.

최근 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 급속한 발전으로 멀티미디어 및 영상(정지, 동영상) 정보가 급증하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 요즘 영상처리 분야뿐만 아니라 여러 응용 분야에서 많이 사용되고 있는 웨이브렛 변환(Wavelet Transform)과 공간 영상(spatial image)의 영역 분류 사이에 상관관계를 이용하여 회전된 영상을 검색하는 시스템을 제안하고 구현한다.

GIS is the tool widely used for the practical solution of spatial problems in every region regardless of the language and ideology. In this paper research trends and tendencies of GIS in North Korea are reviewed compared with those in South Korea. For this purpose, academic publications on GIS in North Korea are surveyed and classified according to main subjects in GIS. Such classification by main subjects of GIS in North Korea are conducted on the basis of the classification of research trends and tendencies of GIS in South Korea. As a result, researches in North Korea are mainly focused upon such fields as geodetic surveying and measurement, map manufacture, atmospheric phenomena, agriculture and disasters, while there are few studies related to such fields as national GIS policy and circulation, GIS education, internet-based GIS, and traffic, to name but a few. Most parts of applied data are based on low and medium resolution image such as meteorological satellite images, Landsat images, and so on. This reflects the low level of the development of GIS DB infrastructure in North Korea.

We propose a technique to extract a relevant passage from text collection based on field-associated terms since they tries to concentrate relevant text to users query. Documents are supposed to be managed as a whole without any segmentation into small pieces, but the method presented is independent upon any text-embedded auxiliary information, and is based on topic continuity and transition. For users needs-relative sentences or passages, we present a passage retrieval techniques by using occurrence frequency of a field-associated term to delimit text, that is likely to be relevant to a particular topic, considering continuity and transition within topic flowing in text. We evaluate 50 Japanese documents and verify the usefulness with 82% for average precision and 63% for recall.

The proposed new UCI syntax is compatible with the existing identifier and defines fixed length in such cases as printable ID, bar code and QR code which may entail better usage of identifier itself. For the compatibility, the identifiable metadata "key" is used for the existing UCI identifier and "UCI" element of metadata is defined for the new UCI identifier. The new UCI identifier plays roles of the resolution service and representation, and the old UCI identifier plays a role of internal DB management. Also, the object code has two types, meaningless and meaningful. The meaningful object code type can be used according the content classification standards in various field as comics, games, advertisement etc. The standardization activities can be supported by the root agency of UCI.

이 글에서는 통신 전자전의 ESM과 ECM에 대한 일반적인 내용보다는, 그 중 한 특수 분야로서 전술 및 전략적으로 매우 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 전파방향 탐지 및 방해기법을 위주로 하여 운용면 보다는 기술적 이론을 보안에 저촉되지 않는 한도내에서 상세히 설명하였다. 전파 방향 탐지 기법에 대해서는 주요 기법들의 분류 및 설명, 장비 구성방법을 비롯하여 이를 운용하며 방위각을 구하고 자동망에 의하여 위치표정을 하기까지의 주요 사항들을 항목별로 정리하였으며, 전파 방해 기법에 대해서는 기법별 특성에 대한 간략한 비교, 장비 구성방법과 필수 핵심부에 대한 분석 등을 수록하므로써 전파 방향 탐지 및 방해 기법의 전반에 걸친 내용을 다루었다.

현재까지 연구되고 있던 정보보호관련분야의 계량화방법을 좀 더 다른 방법으로 접근하여, 정보시스템 환경 하에서 보안 및 관리 운영 평가 지수에 계량화하여 1차 집단과 2차 집단간의 차이를 연구하였다. 정보화 관련항목에 대하여 빈도 분석을 적용함으로서 군별, 항목별 분류를 통한 항목 비례 가중치법을 산출하였다. 또한, 선지정 가중치법을 이용하여, 보호지수와 관리운용지수에 따른 상관관계를 조사하여 안전관리 지수를 계량화하였다.
