  • The information & Communication industry including internet is rapidly developing and expanding, which integrates our living space and provides diversity. Internet provides users with an variety of real-time information through networking. Also the functions and services of Geographic Information Systems are on a changing trend providing services for various organizations and users dispersed in different networks. It is necessary to understand that GIS is available not only on a desktop and server, but in any place where the network is connected using the web. Recently, Internet GIS for the search and subscription of spatial informations through the internet is receiving an active research field. So. this study aims to apply the Gas Disaster Management to the internet and develop the internet GIS techniques which make an effective utilization of GIS functions using MapObjects IMS, SDE, and Oracle.

  • The Inno-NET, which is based on the Internet and up-to-date information technology, is a consolidated system to provide business-related information and to solve the difficulties in business activities. In particular, the Inno-NET is an information system to integrate such business information for enterprise as start-up, financing, technology development, recruiting, site acquisition, marketing, trade and investment and so on, in order to help companies solve their problems and make up for their weak points. Accordingly, the Inno-NET will systematically connect supporting agencies and innovative enterprises, thus guaranteeing the exchange of information among them and coordinating the business. The supporting agencies will be included government offices, public organizations, research institutes, universities, and industrial associations all over the ministries. In short, Inno-NET forms a real-time decision making system among government, industries, universities and research institutes. by elt:ictronic networking on the Internet.

  • A planning agent supporting customers plays a distinguished role in internet marketplaces. Although several internet marketplaces have been built with the maturity of tools based on internet and distributed technologies, there has been no actual study up to now with respect to the implementation of the planning agent. This paper describes the design and implementation of an XML-based planning agent for internet marketplaces. Since implementing internet marketplaces encounter problems similar to those in other fields such as multidatabase or workflow management systems, we first compare those features. Next we identify functions and roles of the planning agent. The planning agent is implemented using COM+, ASP, and XML, and demonstrated using real data used in an existing system.

  • 오늘날 IoT 사물기기들의 사용 범위가 늘어나면서 해커들은 IoT 기기에서 네트워크상의 서비스 및 정보검색의 기능을 하는 프로토콜인 SSDP의 취약점을 악용하여 SSDP DRDoS(분산 반사 서비스 거부) 공격이라는 새로운 형태의 공격을 만들어 공격을 시도하고 있다. 이는 단순히 우리 생활에서 쓰이는 IoT 기기의 위협뿐만 아니라 사람의 생명이나 주요 기반시설 등에서 사용되어지는 IoT기기들의 공격으로 이어지면 큰 위험을 나타낼 수 있다. 앞으로 IoT기기들이 점차 증가되어 생활에 편리함과 실용성을 가지고 오는 반면에 해커들은 더욱더 교묘하고 복잡하게 공격을 시도를 할 것이다. 특히 본 논문에서는 DRDoS의 몇 가지 공격방법을 알아보고 그중에 IoT 기기에서 사용되어지는 SSDP프로토콜의 관련연구 및 공격방법들을 알아보고 공격시나리오 및 대응방안을 제안한다.

  • As the internet technologies develop, the geographic information system environment is changing to the web-based service. Since geospatial information of the existing Web-GIS services were developed independently, there is no interoperability to support diverse map formats. In spite of the same geospatial information object it can be used for various proposes that is duplicated in GIS separately. It needs intelligent strategies for optimal replica selection, which is identification of replication geospatial information objects. And for management of replication objects, OMG, GLOBE and GRID computing suggested related frameworks. But these researches are not thorough going enough in case of geospatial information object. This paper presents a model of location service, which is supported for optimal selection among replication and management of replication objects. It is consist of tree main services. The first is binding service which can save names and properties of object defined by users according to service offers and enable clients to search them on the service of offers. The second is location service which can manage location information with contact records. And obtains performance information by the Load Sharing Facility on system independently with contact address. The third is intelligent selection service which can obtain basic/performance information from the binding service/location service and provide both faster access and better performance characteristics by rules as intelligent model based on rough sets. For the validity of location service model, this research presents the processes of location service execution with Graphic User Interface.

Efficient k-Nearest Neighbor Query Processing Method for a Large Location Data (대용량 위치 데이터에서 효율적인 k-최근접 질의 처리 기법)

  • With the growing popularity of smart devices, various location based services have been providing to users. Recently, some location based social applications that combine social services and location based services have been emerged. The demands of a k-nearest neighbors(k-NN) query which finds k closest locations from a user location are increased in the location based social network services. In this paper, we propose an approximate k-NN query processing method for fast response time in a large number of users environments. The proposed method performs efficient stream processing using big data distributed processing technologies. In this paper, we also propose a modified grid index method for indexing a large amount of location data. The proposed query processing method first retrieves the related cells by considering a user movement. By doing so, it can make an approximate k results set. In order to show the superiority of the proposed method, we conduct various performance evaluations with the existing method.

Integrated Stochastic Admission Control Policy in Clustered Continuous Media Storage Server (클리스터 기반 연속 미디어 저장 서버에서의 통합형 통계적 승인 제어 기법)

  • In this paper, for continuous media access operations performed by Clustered Continuous Media Storage Server (CCMSS) system, we present the analytical model based on the open queueing network, which considers simultaneously two critical delay factors, the disk I/O and the internal network, in the CCMSS system. And we derive by using the analytical model the stochastic model for the total service delay time in the system. Next, we propose the integrated stochastic admission control model for the CCMSS system, which estimate the maximum number of admittable service requests at the allowable service failure rate by using the derived stochastic model and apply the derived number of requests in the admission control operation. For the performance evaluation of the proposed model, we evaluated the deadline miss rates by means of the previous stochastic model considering only the disk I/O and the propose stochastic model considering the disk I/O and the internal network, and compared the values with the results obtained from the simulation under the real cluster-based distributed media server environment. The evaluation showed that the proposed admission control policy reflects more precisely the delay factors in the CCMSS system.

  • The Knowledge service system needs to infer a new knowledge from indicated knowledge to provide its effective service. Most of the Knowledge service system is expressed in terms of ontology. The volume of knowledge information in a real world is getting massive, so effective technique for massive data of ontology is drawing attention. This paper is to provide the method to infer massive data-ontology to the extent of RDFS, based on cloud computing environment, and evaluate its capability. RDFS inference suggested in this paper is focused on both the method applying MapReduce based on RDFS meta table, and the method of single use of cloud computing memory without using MapReduce under distributed file computing environment. Therefore, this paper explains basically the inference system structure of each technique, the meta table set-up according to RDFS inference rule, and the algorithm of inference strategy. In order to evaluate suggested method in this paper, we perform experiment with LUBM set which is formal data to evaluate ontology inference and search speed. In case LUBM6000, the RDFS inference technique based on meta table had required 13.75 minutes(inferring 1,042 triples per second) to conduct total inference, whereas the method applying the cloud computing memory had needed 7.24 minutes(inferring 1,979 triples per second) showing its speed twice faster.

  • Self-growing software is a software system that has the capability of evolving its functionalities and configurations by itself based on dynamically monitored situations. Self-growing software is especially necessary for intelligent service robots, which must have the capability to monitor their surrounding environments and provide appropriate behaviors for human users. However, it is hard to anticipate all situations that robots face with, and it is hard to make robots have all functionalities for various environments. In addition, robots have limited internal capacity. To support self-growing software for intelligent service robots, we are developing a cell-based distributed repository system that allows robots and developers transparently to share robot functionalities. To accomplish the creation of evolutionary repositories, we invented the concept of a cell, which is a logical group of distributed repositories based upon the functionalities of components. In addition, a cell can be used as a unit for the evolutionary growth of the components within the repositories. In this paper, we describe the requirements and architecture of the cell-based repository system for self-growing software. We also present a prototype implementation and experiment of the repository system. Through the cell-based repositories, we achieve improved performance of self-growing actions for robots and efficient sharing of components among robots and developers.

  • 하천주변 저지대에 주택이나 공장 등의 시설물 집중과 산지의 개발 및 인구 집중으로 인한 도시화 지역의 증가로 홍수 피해는 더욱 커지고 있다. 특히, 상습침수지구의 주민들은 항상 재해로부터 위험을 느끼고 있으므로 새로운 재해관리체계를 구축하여 이에 대한 확고한 대책이 필요하다. 최근 인터넷 사용의 증가로 많은 사용자들이 웹을 통해 다양한 데이터를 공유하고 있으며, 이러한 추세는 더욱 더 증가할 것이다. 인터넷은 다양한 정보를 네트워크를 통해 사용자에게 실시간으로 제공하고 있으며, 통신기술의 발전, 네트워크 통합화 속에서 그 내용과 방식이 더욱 다양해지고 있다. GIS분야에 있어서도 인터넷 네트워크를 이용하여 분산되어 있는 많은 조직이나 사용자들에게 그 기능과 서비스를 제공하는 추세로 바뀌고 있다. Internet GIS는 원격 지리정보 데이타에 대한 접근, 전송, 분석 및 GIS를 표현하는 수단으로 인터넷을 이용하는 특별한 GIS 도구이다. Internet GIS는 전통적인 GIS 소프트웨어가 가지고 있는 대부분의 기능은 물론 인터넷 및 그와 관련된 WWW 및 FTP 프로토콜의 장점을 가지는 부가적인 기능들을 포함할 수 있다. 이들 부가적인 기능은 원격 데이타 및 응용 프로그램의 교환, 지역 컴퓨터에 GIS 응용 프로그램 없이 GIS 분석 기능을 수행, 인터넷상에서 상호작용하는 지도 및 데이타를 표현하는 기능들을 포함한다. Internet GIS는 객체지향적이고 상호운영적이며, 분산적이라는 주요한 특징을 갖는다. 인터넷에서 각각의 GIS 데이타 및 기능성은 하나의 객체로서 서로 다른 서버에 위치하며 필요시 조합 또는 통합되어 운영된다. Internet GIS를 이용한 상습침수지구 지역정보 제공사이트를 구축하기 위해서는 인터넷으로 서비스 할 수 있는 인터넷용 상습침수지구 GIS기본도를 구축이 필요하다. 인터넷 서비스를 위한 상습침수지구 기본도는 또 다른 형태의 주제도라고 볼 수 있으며, 이를 구축하기 위해서는 자료변환 및 가공이 필요하다. 즉, 각 상습침수지구에 필요한 지형도는 국립지리원에서 제작된 1:5,000 수치지형도가 있으나 이는 자료가 방대하고 상습침수지구에 필요하지 않은 자료들을 많이 포함하고 있으므로 상습침수지구의 데이터를 인터넷을 통해 서비스하기 위해서는 많은 불필요한 레이어의 삭제, 서비스 속도를 고려한 데이터의 일반화작업, 지도의 축소.확대 등 자료제공 방식에 따른 작업 그리고 가시성을 고려한 심볼 및 색채 디자인 등의 작업이 수반되어야 하며, 이들을 고려한 인터넷용 GIS기본도를 신규 제작한다. 상습침수지구와 관련된 각종 GIS데이타와 각 기관이 보유하고 있는 공공정보 가운데 공간정보와 연계되어야 하는 자료를 인터넷 GIS를 이용하여 효율적으로 관리하기 위해서는 단계별 구축전략이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인터넷 GIS를 이용하여 상습침수구역관련 정보를 검색, 처리 및 분석할 수 있는 상습침수 구역 종합정보화 시스템을 구축토록 하였다.
