The purpose of the study is to examine the potentialities and limits of Business Reference Model (BRM) as records classification schemes in Korean central state institutions. The analysis is based on the data collected through focus group interviews of three times, in which six records professionals from central government agencies participate. This paper begins with inquiring the framework of records classification based BRM, required by Public Records Management Act. It explores the types of benefit of BRM application to government records classification. Based on the collected data from the interviews, it investigates how records are aggregated, and how transaction level (Danwi-Gwaje) of BRM is applied in the course of records aggregation.

This research is a part of the Intelligent Urban Facility Management project of the Korean Land Spatialization Group (KGSL). First, this study started from the investigation of existing u-City service model in order to drive essential components and considerations for the urban facilities management system. Considering the driven conclusions, this study finally proposed the new classification system of urban facilities management service model and the adequate application method in u-City.

In this study, we propose a new CT classification system which is essential factor for strengthening competitiveness of culture contents and technical assistance of convergence contents. For this, we drew particularity of culture contents by reviewing concept and current state of CT. And also we drew problems of existing CT classification systems and implications for applying to future CT classification system by systematic analysis of existing CT classification systems. Through this series of process we developed a new CT classification system applied particularity of culture contents. The suggested CT classification system can embrace all kind of technologies related to all steps of value chain-planning, manufacturing/production, distribution, service- of culture contents. And it has significance having flexibility for government investigation and applying the law and more realistic for industrial site by restructuring of middle classification level.

As the government has enforced recently the policies on the distribution of the housing, the construction cost of multi-family housing projects has increasingly become very sensitive and political issue. However, it is difficult to predict the construction cost in planning and design phase of the project because the Bill of Quantity of the multi-family housing projects was composed of breakdown structure based on each work package. To predict the construction cost in planning and design phase for multi-family housing projects in more effective and reasonable way, this study developed the cost breakdown structure based on spaces using Delphi method. The Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) based on spaces for multi-family housing projects basically consists of three parts: (i) Building part; (ii) Non-building part; and (iii) Additional part. The characteristics of spaces in multi-family housing projects are fully taken into consideration. Then these three parts were subdivided into work packages in terms of work tasks. Additionally, the usefulness and effectiveness of Space CBS in this paper were validated by analyzing the BOQs of several collected sample projects and matching with Space CBS afterwards.

The purpose of this study is to identify how to construct an internet shopping mall classification system used on the library classification theories. To aid in identifying classification system, this study focused on the Ranganathan’s classification canons; canons for characteristics, canons for terms. The study shows six priniciples for an internet shopping mall classification system construct: products’characteristics, inclusiveness, various access points, category sequence and term consistency, term currency and obviousness, no term duplication. For future research, product’s search patterns and relationship to interface are suggested.

This study aim to develop a classification system to classify the descriptors, which is been in korean literatures. Firstly this classification structure is categorized on six facets and the classification system is constructed on a deductive method based on korean literature knowledge. The study compared the classification system with various thesaurus's classification system in humane studies and by the comparison, the classification system of korean literature's terms find out having some merits as using the facet method. On account of these merits the classification system has achieved a consistency of categorization independently and reduced a complexity of classification structure. And by categorizing the common categories, the study has reduced the size of schedules. Finally, the classification system has advanced the structure in the process of classifying the descriptors.

This study aims to standardize the work classification system in spatial data. It is the base frame to classify the general information systematically in spatial data construction process. Work process of the surveying firm and rules for basic surveying which is being accomplished in the NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) are investigated and analysed. Therefore, types, individual process, and results of surveying work is standardized. If the work classification system from this study is adopted as the national standard and is also advanced by construction methodology, the spatial data will be managed futuristically and systematically.

The industry information grows faster than any other information resources in the Internet age. Unfortunately, however, there is no consensus on the standard of the classification among the information providers of the industry fields. This may a problematic issue not only in building a continuous and systematic development of the industry information, but also in the use of the information among the users. This study aims to propose a well-structured and/or an efficient classification scheme for the industry information to help the users with easy to retrieve the Internet resources. To do this, we analyzed the subject classification scheme of the domestic industry information on the web sites, which is largely adopted the \"Korean Standard for the Industry Classification\". In addition, we suggested the principle of the subject classification and their hierarchial structure derived from the analysis of the knowledge and document classification scheme. As a result, it was suggested an optimized industry classification scheme based on the analysis of the validity test of classification item measured by the quantitative analysis of the industry information, which it currently accessible through the Internet. Right comprehension of the natural disaster could reduce the damage of human life and property by explaining the cause of the disaster and considering a counterplan to decrease or prevent it. To do this, it should precede to clarify the category of the natural disaster and classification. Also, when the disaster occurs, swift site survey and the establishment of the data by the professionals should be done for clarifying the reason. Our classification of the natural disaster is written on the Law of the Nature Disaster Relief. But, this classification is made for the management of the disaster, so it is required to review the establishment of the technical information by the professionals. Therefore, the Korean type classification is required considered by the professionals who collect and study the information of the natural disaster for the other countries. If the DB of the natural disaster is made, it is able to get various services through the internet virtual space and it will be helpful to prepare the prevent countermeasures against the disaster. In this research, the korean type classification plan of the natural disaster is suggested which is suitable to the professional technology by collecting and analyzing the domestic and the international classification of the natural disaster.
