Study on the Characteristics of Bread with Jasmin Tea Powder (쟈스민차가루를 이용한 식빵의 특성 연구)

  • This study was designed to investigate the effective ratio of healthy bread with jasmin tea powder. The weight, volume, and color difference of bread with various jasmin tea powder was measured and the picture of bread was taken and the panel test was taken. The weight of bread was increased and the volume was decreased significantly according to increase of jasmin tea powder. To avoid the decrease of volume, the active gluten was added, but there was not shown the increse of bread volume by active gluten. In the result of panel test and volume measurement, addition of 3% jasmin tea powder was appropriate. Therefore, using the jasmin tea powder, the diversity of bread by functionality, nutritional composition, taste, color, flavor of jasmin tea powder can be developed. This result will support the background the development of jasmin tea bread of good quality.

Morphology and swelling property of chitosan microapsules and microbeads prepared by W/O emulsion (W/O 에멀젼에 의한 chitosan microcapsule 및 microbead의 morphology와 팽윤성)

  • Chitosan microcapsules and microbeads were prepared by W/O emulsion method, and their morphologies were observed through SEM. The microcapsules have skin layer of 8 Um and 250 Um of mean diameter, The swelling test showed higher s welling ability in protic solvents than in aphotic solvents. After containing moth-yl violet in the microcapsules, the release patterns were investigated. The results sho wed that the addition of Iysozyme in pH 5.1 acetate buffer accelerated the re-lease rate. In case of the microbeads, the mean diameter was about 70 Um. The surface of the microbeads showed porous structures. The swelling ability of the beads revealed two times higher than the one of the microcapsules.

  • 원자력연구소에 보관 중인 오염 토양폐기물을 토양 세척법으로 제염하여 비 방사성폐기물화 한다면 그 부피를 10% 이하로 저감시킬 수 있으며 연구소의 고체 방사성폐기물 저장 용량을 크게 늘릴 수 있다. 1988년 발견 당시 오염 토양 폐기물의 주요 방사성 핵종은 Co-60 이었는데 시간경과에 따라 Cs-134, 137 이 주요 방사성 핵종이 되었다. 오염토양 폐기물의 60 % 이상은 방사능 농도가 극히 낮아 물리적으로 입도를 분리하거나 수 세척에 의해 비 방사성폐기물화 할 수 있음을 파악하였다.(중략)

  • Colloidal silica is used in various industrial products such as chemical mechanical polishing slurry for planarization of silicon and sapphire wafer, organic-inorganic hybrid coatings, binder of investment casting, etc. An accurate determination of particle size and dispersion stability of silica sol is demanded because it has a strong influence on surface of wafer, film of coatings or bulks having mechanical, chemical and optical properties. The study herein is discussed on the effect of measurement results of average particle size, sol viscosity and electrophoretic mobility of particle according to the volume fraction of eight types of silica sol with different size and surface properties of silica particles which are presented by the manufacturer. The measured particle size and the mobility of these sol were changed by volume fraction or particle size due to highly active surface of silica particle and change of concentration of counter ion by dilution of silica sol. While in case the measured sizes of small particles less than 60 nm are increased with increasing volume fraction, the measured sizes of larger particles than 60 nm are slightly decreased. The mobility of small particle such as 12 nm are decreased with increase of viscosity. However, the mobility of 100 nm particles under 0.048 volume fraction are increased with increasing volume fraction and then decreased over higher volume fraction.

Analysis of Elastic Constants in SiC Particulate Reinforced Al Matrix Composites by Resonant Ultrasound Spectroscopy (초음파 공명 분광법(RUS)을 이용한 SiC 입자강화 Al 기지복합재료의 탄성계수 해석)

  • The dynamic elastic properties of metal matrix composites were investigated by resonant ultrasound spectroscopy(RUS). The composites used in this study consisted of 2124 aluminum alloy reinforced with different concentrations of SiC particles. RUS can determine the nine independent elastic stiffness($C_{ij}$) for the orthorhombic symmetry on a small specimen simultaneously. The elastic constants were determined as a function of the volume fraction. A concept of effective aspect ratio. which combine the aspect ratio and the orientation of reinforcement. was used to calculate the initial moduli from Mori-Tanaka theory for the input of RUS minimization code. Young's moduli can be obtained from the measured stiffnesses. The results show that the elastic stiffness increases with increment of the particle content. The behavior of elastic stiffness indicates that the particle redistribution induced by the extrusion process enlarges the transversely isotropic symmetry as the fraction of reinforced particles increase. This relationship could be used for determination of the volume fractions of reinforcement as a potential tool of nondestructive material characterization.

Physicochemical Properties of Korean Raw Noodle Flours (우리나라 생면용 밀가루의 성질)

  • The physicochemical properties of raw noodle flours (n = 11) commercially produced from Australian Standard White (ASW) (Group 1, n = 8) and blonds (Group 2, n = 3) of ASW and Australian hard, western white or hard red winter were investigated. Protein and ash contents were lower in Group 1. The tristimulus color values, mean particle size, flour swelling volume (FSV) and rheological parameters of farinograph and extensigraph were not different between two flour groups. Peak viscosity measured with Rapid Visco Analyzer was higher in Group 1. The protein content was positively correlated with mean particle size, dough stability and dough extensibility, and negatively correlated with FSV and peak viscosity. The FSV wag positively correlated with the peak viscosity. The rheological parameters of dough did not show any correlations with FSV and peak viscosity.

  • Basic materials for various making gangjung, various concentration 0∼25.0%(w/v) of coating agent and 0∼20.0% of substitutional materials carried out an experiment in sensory evaluation, expansion rate and hardness of substitutional materials. The results are as follows: 1. Added coating agent far improvement of decreasing aroma, arabic gum and dextrin significant from 20.0% to 25.0% compared with others. A good results flavor strength score and hedonic score of added 20.0% arabic gum are highest. 2. Expansion rate is caused by substitutional waxy rice, expansion rate decreased above 20.0% as tapioca above 5.0%, rice above 10.0%, brown waxy rice and wheat flour 15.0%. 3. After firing gangjung of substitutional materials, hardness increase concentration of substitutional materials. Therefore substitutional materials added to tapioca below 5.0%, rice and wheat flour 10.0%, brown waxy rice 15.0% is thought of good.

  • The permeation properties of $O_2\;and\;N_2$ were measured for bromobisphenol A polysulfone(BPSf), bisphenol A trimethylsilylated polysulfone(TMSPSf) and their blend membrane to investigate the structure-properties relationships. BPSf shows relatively high permselectivity. It can be explained that the strong polarity of bromine in BPSf increases chain packing ability. In this case the distance of polymer chains is reduced by increasing of interchain interaction by induced dipole. TMSPSf shows relatively high permeability. The higher value of permeability coefficients for TMSPSf is due to the substitution of very bulky trimethylsilyl groups. The replacement of phenyl hydrogens of bisphenol A polysulfone(PSf) with trimethylsilyl groups results in higher fractional free volume(FFV). In this work, taking into account the complimentary features of BPSf and TMSPSf, BPSf/TMSPSf blend was prepared and the compatibility in mixing are examined. The BPSf/TMSPSf blend shows higher permeability than commercial PSf, with minimum loss of selectivity. The miscibility of the BPSf/TMSPSf blend is confirmed by the single glass transition temperature.

  • The analysis of adsortion behaviors of some cigarett aerosol ingredients such as tar, nicotine, carbon monoxide and a number of organic acids has shown that the rates of adsorption of the adsorbates of lower boiling point had increased in accordance with increasing cumulative pore volume, while that of higher doiling point decreased with increasing pore volume of smaller radius. The adsorbents used here were charcoal, silica gel, alumina, and activated clay. The common principle that the adsorbents of greater specific surface area adsorb the larger amount of adsorbates appeared to be disturbed in the adsortion of higher boiling point adsorbates. This confirmation was made mainly by analyzing the adsorption behaviors with regard to the pore volume distributions evaluated on the bases of desorption isotherms.

백판지 Varnish Coating적성 개선에 대한 연구

  • 백판지는 포장용기로 사용되기 때문에 인쇄적성 이외에 다양한 후가공적성이 요구 된다. V Varnish Coating도 이러한 후가공적성 중의 하나로서 국내 인쇄소에서는 기계 코팅으로 불리 우며, 목적은 표면에 고분자수지 피막을 입힘으로써 인쇄물의 광택을 높여서 상품가치를 높이고 수운침투와 같은 외부환경의 변화로부터 상품을 안전하게 보관하기 위함이다. arnish C Coating은 인쇄기의 마지막 Unit에서 인쇄와 동일한 방식으로 진행되는데, 코팅액의 배합은 인쇄소와 인쇄물에 따라 상이하다. 본 연구는 Varnish Coating(OI하 기계코팅) 광택향상을 통 한 품질개선 목적으로 수행되었다. 기계 코팅의 특 성 을 파 악 하 기 위 해 서 Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometer와 FT -IR Sp e ectrometer를 사용하여 성문운석을 실시해본 결과 코팅액으로 사용되는 광택바니스는 아크 랄과 페놀수지를 툴루엔 계열의 용매에 녹인 용액이고, 흐$\mid$석제로 쓰이는 인쇄바니스는 스티 렌수지를 동일한 용매에 녹인 용액으로 조사되었다. 기계코팅광택 저하현상의 원인파악을 위해서 도공층의 공극구조를 Mercury Porosimeter를 이용하여 파악한 결과 기공의 부피가 상 대적으로 크게 나타났다. 위의 결과를 토대로 기계코팅광택 저하는 코팅액이 과도한 기공부피를 갖는 도공층 내부 로 대부분 홉수되고 표면에 적은 양만이 잔류하기 때문으로 판단하고 해결방안은 도공층의 기공부피를 줄이는 쪽으로 정하였다. Mayor Coater와 QC를 이용하여 Coating Color Formula t tion 번경실힘을 진행하여 도공지 물성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 Double Coating의 Top Color에 서 강력한 상호작용을 하는 Protein과 콜레이를 감량 하고 경질탄산칼숨을 배제하여 기공의 부피를 줄인 경우 기계코팅광택 향상효과가 두드러지게 나타났다. 이러한 Lab 실험을 바탕으로 결정된 Color Formulation에 대한 현장실험을 진행하였고 Lab 평가 및 실인쇄 평가 결과 원하는 수준의 기계코팅광택 향상을 얻을 수 있었다. 몇 차례의 현장실험과 Long-Run Test한 제품들에 대한 물성을 문석한 결과 기계코팅굉택은 인쇄 광택과 같은 경향을 나타냈으며 실협실적으로 간단하게 측정되는 물성 중에서 Air Permeability와 강한 음의 상관관계롤 보였다.
