  • The aim of this study is to gain a better understanding of the relationship between the mental health and spiritual wellbeing of the wives of pastors by analyzing the influence of both negative and positive elements of mental health (depression and psychological wellbeing) and spiritual wellness. The findings of conducted survey and the analysis of its result on the 236 subjects to measure their psychological wellbeing, depression, and spiritual wellbeing are as follows: First, the verified result of the differences between depression, psychological wellness, and spiritual wellness depending on the demographic variables revealed that the satisfaction level of ministry uniquely showed a 5% level of significance. Second, depression showed a negative correlation with spiritual wellbeing, and a positive correlation with psychological wellbeing, which proves that rather than depression, psychological wellbeing possesses a greater influence on spiritual wellness. Third, a one-level increase of depression and psychological wellbeing had an influence on spiritual wellbeing by - 0.282 and 0.668 respectively. Lastly, the study categorized the subjects into two groups -- those who are satisfied with their ministry and those who are not -- to analyze the influence of the sub-factors of depression and psychological wellbeing on the sub-factors of spiritual wellness. As a result, both groups showed that depression had significant influence only on the existential wellbeing, while psychological wellbeing had an influence on both religious and existential wellbeing, and rather than depression, a negative state of mental health, a psychological wellbeing which is a positive state of mental health had a greater influence. The study also revealed that depression and psychological wellbeing had a greater influence on the group that is dissatisfied with their ministry than the group that is satisfied.

They were then asked to report why they trust or distrust Korean society. A total of 1,064 respondents (218 middle school students, 200 university students, 218 fathers of the middle school students, 218 mothers of the middle school students, and 210 teachers) completed a questionnaire developed by the present researchers. The data were collected during April to June, 2003. • The purpose of this study was to investigate families' responses and attitudes and the experiences of Korean LGBT individuals after revealing their sexual identity and sexual orientation and to determine how families' attitudes affected the mental health of these individuals. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were performed with 12 male and female LGBT participants, ranging from 19-30 years of age, who resided in Seoul and metropolitan areas, and reported coming out to or being outed by their families. One-to-one interviews were carried out using semi-structured questions, and the data from the interviews were analyzed using consensual qualitative research (CQR). Most of the families had very negative responses and attitudes to the participants coming out and exhibited rejection or avoidant attitudes; only a few of the families responded with receptive attitudes. As a result, the LGBT participants reacted with friction and coping behaviors, such as persuasion, participation in professional counseling, abandonment or avoidance, and running away from home. Most of the effects of the families' attitudes on the participants were negative psychological effects, such as anger, sadness, a sense of alienation, depression, anxiety, fear, trauma, helplessness, lowered self-esteem, alcohol dependence, and suicidal ideation and attempt, while receptive attitudes provided a sense of stability. For all participants, they reported that they were more likely to be hurt by their families' negative attitudes than by social attitudes. This study is significant because it provides framework for specifying families' attitudes and LGBT individuals' experiences after coming out in Korean society. It also outlines LGBT individuals' coping behaviors, psychological difficulties, and the process of coming out and provides suggestions for individuals to overcome. The results are expected to help counselors create practical strategies to better understand LGBT individuals and the psychological difficulties they may experience and provide proper interventions while counseling both the individual and the family.

The study obtained 387 samples from the firm's workers with IS-related regulations and verified the research hypotheses established using the AMOS 22.0 and Process 3.1 tools. As a result, the competitive psychological climate negatively affected IS compliance intention by increasing individual's IS-related prospective and inhibitory anxiety. In addition, IS-related value dissimilarity had an interactive effect with prospective and inhibitory anxiety and had a negative effect on IS compliance intention. This study has practical implications in terms of presenting information and values to be provided to employees to achieve internal IS goals and has academic implications in terms of applying the complex effects of IS-related anxiety and value dissimilarity.

  • This study analyzes whether investor sentiment and liquidity explain the momentum phenomenon in the Korean stock market and whether it is a risk factor for the asset pricing model. The empirical analysis used the monthly returns of non-financial companies listed on the stock market during the period 2000-2021. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that there is a momentum effect in Korea. This is the same result as the previous study, and since 2000, the momentum effect has been accepted as a general phenomenon in the Korean stock market. Second, if we look at the portfolio based on investor sentiment, investor sentiment is influencing momentum. In particular, when investor sentiment is negative, the return on the winner portfolio is high. Third, as a result of the analysis based on liquidity, the momentum effect disappears and a reversal effect appears. Fourth, it was found that investor sentiment and liquidity influence the momentum effect. This is a result of the strong momentum effect in the illiquid stock group with negative investor sentiment. Fifth, as a result of analyzing the effect of each factor on stock returns, it was found that both investor psychology and liquidity factors have a significant impact on returns. The estimated results provide evidence that the inclusion of these two factors in the Carhart four-factor model significantly increases the predictive power of the model. Therefore, it can be said that investor sentiment factors and liquidity factors are important factors in determining stock returns.

  • This study investigated empirically the structural relationship of golf participants' basic psychological needs, exercise emotion, and exercise-adherence behavior. Using two-hundred thirty questionnaires, the results were as follows. First, golf participants' autonomy, competence, and relatedness had a significant impact on the positive emotions. On the other hand, only competence lowered the negative emotions, and the other variables did not have a significant impact. Second, golf participants' autonomy, competence, and relatedness increased the exercise-adherence behavior. Third, golf participants' positive emotion increased the exercise-adherence behavior but a negative emotion decreased it. In terms of the indirect effect, golf participants' autonomy, competence, and relatedness influenced the exercise-adherence behavior, which was mediated by exercise emotion. This study is useful to sports participants interested in real value and a happy life through exercise-adherence behavior.

  • Alcohol abuse negatively affects the individual alcoholics and their families, including children. This paper investigates interventions that help children of alcoholics psychosocially and psychopathologically. We investigated domestic and international literature by searching the related databases and reviewing articles. Inclusion criteria were studies on psychological interventions for children of alcoholics (CoAs) or both CoAs and parents. Results suggest that the interventions help CoAs reduce their emotional and behavioral problems. After the review, the research results were discussed, and suggested further effective interventions. The study is valuable because it reviewed the studies that improved CoAs' psychological problems and suggested future directions
