Data of 6,291 middle and high school students from 'research on the actual state of human rights of Korean children and adolescents IV' conducted by National Youth Policy Institute were analyzed. The analyses were carried out with SPSS 18.0 and Process Macro 4.0 using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, regression analysis, and bootstrapping. The results showed that 1. school teacher violence and depression significantly influenced suicidal ideation of adolescents, 2. depression showed mediating effects on the process where school teacher violence influenced suicidal ideation, 3. parental neglect showed mediated moderation effects on the process where school teacher violence influenced suicidal ideation through depression. The study also suggested the necessity to complement the education and counseling program and the relevant policy for parents and teachers who could affect suicidal ideation of adolescents.

The sub factors of career guidance, except for emotional support, were also significantly correlated with the sub factors of children's career development. Second, Parent's accomplishment pressure didn't show significant effect on fitness of career choice, sex-prejudice and pride, but showed significant effects on total career development, career directivity, career comprehension, self-comprehension and self- control. • The purpose of this study is to analyze the recognition of the parents of scientifically gifted children of the need for parent education. In order to attain this goal, questions were developed about their recognition for the need of a parent education program. A sample of parents (N=121) was selected. Data analysis indicated that the instruments developed in this study had proper validity and reliability measurements (Chronbach ${\alpha}=0.93$ for parent questionnaire). The results showed that parents want parent education, but they don't have the opportunities for it. Parents want information on courses, creativity development and counselling. Parents are especially anxious to obtain information on their children's courses. Finally, results revealed positive correlations between parents' needs and experiences in parent education. The results of study give some implications for developing parent education programs.

In developing the scales, this study reviews of numbers of existing literatures, analysis of scales and tools on parent's role or attitude, collection of episodes on parent's role, validity check processes by field experts, and 2 rounds of factor analysis. The outcomes of the study are as follows; In regard of the development of Parental Intelligence Scale, 3 factors of care-giving role, management role, nurturing role were derived from the conceptual and measurement model. From these 3 factors, 8 sub-factors of empathy, encourage, enhancement, rational authoritativeness, flexibility, rejection, acceptance, control were constructed. 39 question items were derived in order to measure these sub-factors. Especially through the two rounds of factor analysis, the question items with enhanced internal consistency were derived and total cumulative variance was increased, which made theoretical model into the generalized model possible.

  • The purpose of this study was to testify the relationship of parental psychological control perceived by young adults in twenties and their social anxiety, and the mediating effects of internalized shame and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness in the model. The online questionnaires were administered to 350 young adults in twenties to assess the four major variables(parental psychological control, internalized shame, ambivalence over emotional expressiveness and social anxiety). In correlation analysis, parental psychological control, social anxiety, internalized shame and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness were positively correlated. Bootstrapping method was used to test the mediating effects, and this study here is statistically significant revealing the path of parental psychological control to social anxiety by mediator such as internalized shame and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness. Finally, parental psychological control-social anxiety partial mediator model was supported. As a result of the study, the higher the level of parental psychological control, the higher the level of internalized shame and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness, and subsequently the higher the level of social anxiety in twenties. The implication and limitation of this study, and future tasks were discussed.
