  • 최근 다양한 업무형태가 등장함에 따라 특정업종이나 기업을 대상으로 기업간 비즈니스에 대란 정보시스템 구현 및 업무 프로세스 리엔지니어링을 통한 혁신을 지원해 줄 수 있는 체계의 도입 및 구현에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 기업이 해당 업무의 정보시스템 구현과 업무의 경쟁력 강화를 뒷받침하기 위해서는 현행 업무프로세스에 대한 표준화가 중요란 사항이나, 현재 기업간 업무에 대해서는 이를 뒷받침 해줄 수 있는 프로세스 및 데이터의 분류와 분석을 위한 통합화, 표준화 작업이 부족한 상태이며, 이를 기반으로 이루어지는 업종별 핵심 기능 프로세스에 대란 표준화와 개발 분야도 미비한 실정이다. 특히 보편적으로 기업간 업무가 많이 발생하는 유통 분야의 경우 이러한 업종내 업무프로세스의 표준을 체계화 하는 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 최근 매우 활성화 되고있는 프랜차이즈 산업의 경우 프랜차이즈 비즈니스의 특성상 경영효율을 높이기 위해 본사의 관리 통제 하에 운영되고 있으며, 상품도 본사에 의해 통일적, 정형적으로 기획되는 둥 프랜차이즈 비즈니스 특유의 경영 특질을 갖고 있다. 그러나 업무에 대란 표준화가 되어 있지 않은 상태에서 프랜차이즈를 운영한다면 본사차원에서는 오히려 인원과 경비만 늘어 프랜차이즈의 가장 큰 장점인 다점화의 장점이 없어지게 되고, 프랜차이즈 사업을 하고자하는 가맹점 입장에서도 프로세스의 차이와 비표준에서 오는 혼란인 많아 이를 쉽고, 체계적으로 접근 딸 수 잇는 표준 프로세스 작업의 필요성이 높다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 보편적으로 기업간 업무가 많이 발생하는 유통 분야의 프랜차이즈 산업을 대상으로 기업정보시스템 구현 및 경쟁력 강화를 뒷받침하기 위해서, 기업간 프로세스 협업(collaboration) 부분의 데이터 및 서식, 이를 취급하는 기능과 프로세스에 대란 분석을 통해 업무 프로세스 모델링 방법론과 관련한 모델링 지침 및 메타모델을 이용한 표준 업무 프로세스 모델을 개발하여 기업간 업무 프로세스 표준화에 대한 체계적인 관리에 대한 방안을 연구하고자 한다.

유통경로상의 갈등과 거래성과에 관한 연구

  • One of the most important things in channel of distribution is the management of intrachannel conflict. In this study, I tried to find out the major sources of conflict among distribution channel members of petroleum industry and home electronic industry which have two types of distribution channels - sales branch and agency, and also investigate how the level of conflict influence the business performance. The results of the study showed that the imbalance of power, nonfulfillment of roles by manufacturers, nonfulfillment of roles by dealer, divergence in perceptions, intrachannel communication noise have positive relation but role clarity has negative relation with conflict. The results indicate that the more power manufacturer exerts upon dealer, the less manufacturer and dealer practice their roles, and the more communications noise there is, there will be more conflict between channel members. I also analyzed the relationship between conflict and business performance and the result came out as expected, the more conflict there is the less business performance. Little difference was found in sales branch and agency on that aspect.

  • This research is an empirical research that surveys the influence factors of franchisee's compliance and precedence, which have a direct effect on the success of franchisor, from the view of relation exchange theory. The results herein show that the trust of franchisees towards franchisor has a complete mediating effect between conflict and compliance. This means that in a franchise system, it is important to build trust in order to successfully manage franchisees. Trust built between franchisor and the franchisee has a dominating effect based on relationship even on domains not specified on the contract. Also, it is very important in that it decreases frequently occurring conflicts caused by disagreement of interests and unfair relationship of power, and effectuates compliance of franchisees. Such result is a meaningful theoretical and practical contribution in that it has for the first time domestically investigated the mechanism of relationship leading from conflict and trust to compliance of franchisees by methods of theoretical discussion and empirical analysis.

Logistics Peculiarities for the Firms in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Area (대구.경북지역 기업의 물류특성 분석)

  • This paper qualitatively describes logistics behaviors of 113 companies located in Daegu-Gyeongbuk by considering various characteristics such as business location, trade volume, cargo types and the possession of company's own warehouse. A logit model is developed to investigate how predictor variables affect these companies' inclination of utilizing Third Party Logistics Provider(3PL). The estimation results of 102 effective data points show that among the four predictors the location of company's HQs (HQADD) and trade volume (TRDTEU) significantly increase company's tendency towards utilizing 3PL while the remaining two variables (BULK, WAREHS) imparting statistically insignificant influence. The results indicate that those companies located outside the region tend to implement a strategy of using more 3PL and also that the larger the trade volume of the company the more 3PL the company uses to improve the efficiency in logistics.

  • Research on reverse knowledge transfer from subsidiaries to headquarters is recently gaining prominence. The debate regarding the precedents affecting the phenomenon has yet to reach a consensus. Therefore, this paper attempts to identify the effects of an organization's subsidiaries' knowledge transfer capacity (KTC) on reversely transferred local market information (LMI) to headquarters. The present study also examines the moderating effect of intrinsic KTC on the relationship between extrinsic KTC and RKT in an effort to gain better insights into KTC. Through sample data gathered from South Korea, knowledge development capability and subsidiary willingness were found to be vital precedents for successful reverse transferring of LMI to headquarters. Furthermore, we also found that subsidiary willingness functions as an interfering moderator between the relationship of knowledge development capability and RKT. Theoretical contributions and practical implications of these findings are discussed.

A Study on Case for Localization of Korean Enterprise in Indonesia (인도네시아 진출 한국기업의 현지화에 관한 사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the specific ways of successful localization by analyzing the success and failures case for localization through the theoretical background and the strategic models of localization. The strategic models of localization are divided by management aspects such as the localization of production and sourcing, the localization of human resources, the localization of marketing, the localization of R&D, harmonious relationship with the local community and authority transfer between headquarters and local subsidiaries. And the specific measures of the successful localization are proposed within the framework of the strategic models by comparing and analyzing the success and failures case for localization of individual companies operating in Indonesia. The results indicate that there are successful companies which develop a suitable products for the local climate and failed automobile company which is weak for assembly of complete vehicle in terms of localization of production and sourcing. In case of localization of human resources, most companies recognize the importance of this part and endeavor to secure superior human resource through a related education. It is found that most of the companies perform R & D in their native country. In part of a harmonious relationship with the local community, Korean companies should contribute to the community and be friendly with local residents and make a good image of the company focusing on the cultural environment. In aspect of authority transfer between headquarters and local subsidiaries, there is a tendency to be determined by the head office rather than the joint participation. In the future, in order for Korean enterprise to be successful one in Indonesia market, a highly interdependent and complex forms between headquarters and local subsidiaries shall be performed and an active exchange of information and the selection of best talent regardless of nationality shall be promoted.

A Study on Moderating Effects of Autonomy on Performance of MNC Subsidiaries in Korea (다국적기업 한국자회사의 성과에 대한 자율성 조절효과 연구)

  • This study seeks to find out the determinants of subsidiary performance. In addition, moderating effect of autonomy on the relationship between subsidiary competence, subsidiary relationship and subsidiary configurational focus, and subsidiary performance. In studying the moderating effect of autonomy on subsidiary performance, the results will give invaluable insights to foreign subsidiaries in Korea to better compete in competitive Korean market. The results of empirical study showed that subsidiary with higher level of interaction with its intra-MNC network has higher level of performance. Thus, active interaction with headquarter and its affiliates will lead to better performance. Subsidiary with higher level of competence has higher level of performance. Thus, subsidiary should attain higher level of competence to better compete in Korea. Subsidiary autonomy has moderating effect on the relationship between configurational focus and performance. Thus, optimal MNC subsidiary configuration and attainment of subsidiary autonomy is needed to secure competitiveness in Korean market.

A Study of Financial Structure, Profitability, Growth and Financial Risk of Food Service Franchisor (외식산업프랜차이즈본사의 재무구조, 수익성, 성장성 및 재무위험에 관한 연구)

  • This study provides the information about size, financial structure, profitability and growth of franchisors using financial data(asset, liability, equity, sales volume, operating income and net income) in uniform franchise offering circular of fair trade commission. The data were collected from 1,050 franchisors in various business fields: fast food, family restaurant, bakery, agriculture & fishery and liquor shop in the uniform franchise offering circular in 2012 and 2011. Results of this study are as follows: For company size, median of total assets was KRW 675 million and the accumulated median assets rate was 0.48%, but the accumulated median company numbers were 49.9%, which showed small size. For financial structure, 525 companies were below 200% debt ratio, while 314 (29.9%) companies were in over 200% debt, and 211 (20.1%) companies were impaired in capital. These also showed financial structure was vulunerable. For profitability, median of ROA for total companies were only 4.72%, which showed low profitability. For growth, median of growth rate for sales were 7.57% per year, which showed mature industry. In overall, the results showed franchisors should improve their financial status.
