T800/AD6005계 복합재의 습기투과에 관한 연구

  • 복합재는 강도가 높고 가볍기 때문에 최근 로켓의 연소관으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 그런데 이 복합재 로켓 연소관은 제조 후 대기 환경에 장기적으로 노출되어 있기 때문에 금속 연소관과는 달리 온도 또는 습도 등의 환경에 대한 영향을 고려해야 한다. 더구나 연소관은 내부에 추진제가 충전되어 있으므로 추진제의 기계적 특성이 습도에 민감함을 생각할 때 강도뿐만 아니라 습기의 투과도 또한 매우 중요한 고려 요소가 된다. 그러나 온/습도 변화에 따른 복합재 자체의 재료 특성 변화에 대한 연구는 많이 보고되었으나 습기의 투과 정도에 관한 연구는 자료가 미흡한 실정이다. 한편, 포화 함수율은 복합재에 따라서 차이가 있으나 T300/5208의 경우 문헌을 참조하면 20-$50^{\circ}C$에서 복합재 무게의 약 1.5% 정도이며 포화에 걸리는 시간은 약 100일 정도로 나타나 있다.본 연구에서는 수분이 복합재를 통하여 투과되는 정도를 고찰하기 위하여 $20^{\circ}C$,95%RH의 온/습도를 유지하는 수조를 제작하였고, 이 수조내에 보관한 복합재 연소관의 실린더 벽면으로 투과되는 습기를 측정하기 위하여 연소관 내에 습도 센서를 투입하여 상대습도를 직접 측정하였다. 복합재 연소관이 로켓에 사용될 때는 연소관 외부에 페인트로 피막 처리하고 연소관 내부에도 추진제와의 사이에 라이너가 접착되어 있어서 수분 침투 및 온도 등의 외부 환경조건에 견디기에 더 양호한 조건이나 본 연구에서는 복합재 자체의 특성을 고찰하기 위하여 섬유를 에폭시에 함침시켜 winding한 상태 그대로의 복합재 연소관 시료를 사용하였다. 습기의 투과는 내부에 라이너/인슐레이션이 피복되거나 또는 추진제가 충전된 경우 많은 감소효과를 보였다. 순수 복합재 연소관의 경우 수조에 넣고 평형에 도달한 후로부터 약 8개월의 습기 투과 상태를 볼대 벽면을 통하여 들어가는 water vapor flux는 $20^{\circ}C$,95%RH 에서 평균적으로 9.3163$\times$$10^{-8}$g/$m^2$sec로 나타났다. 이때 습기가 투과되는 연소관이 국지점을 평판으로 가정하고 Fick's law를 이용하여 구한 습기에 대한 복합재의 확산계수는 D=2.5$\times$$10^{-6}$$mm^2$sec였으며, 이는 다른 graphite/epixy 복합재의 확산계수와 유사한 값을 나타내고 있다. 또한 추진제가 충전된 연소관을 절단하여 밀폐한 후 95%RH 습도 조건에 보관함으로써 연소관 내부의 추진제 기계적 특성에 미치는 침투된 습기의 영향도 함께 고찰하였다. 추진제에 따라 차이는 있겠으나 추진제가 충전된 연소관은 순수 복합재 연소관에 비해 습기의 투과 정도가 작으며, 본 연소관에 충전된 RDX/AP계 추진제의 경우 추진제의 습기투과에 의한 추진제 물성 변화는 미미한 것으로 나타났다.

  • The stack effect in high-rise buildings is expected more significant at nights in winter due to the large temperature difference between the inside and outside of the buildings. However, the existence of large openings such as natural ventilators on the floor may effect the position of neutral plane, smoke spread at fire and thus obstruct the door openings for rescue. In this paper, the vertical and horizontal pressure distribution with different openings of natural smoke ventilators was experimentally analyzed by investigating pressure differentials.

  • Scramjet combustor materials are exposed at ultra high temperature over 2000K and severe erosion environment. Inconel alloys are usually applied for combustor material however its mechanical properties are decreased beyond temperature of 1000K so that is impossible for long term operation and reuse. In this study, fiber reinforced ceramic material was used as scramjet combustor material and its feasibility studied. To increase combustion efficiency, regenerative combustor system developed and channel fabrication in composite material also studied.

  • This study has been investigated about hygrothermal environmental effects on the pin-joined carbon/epoxy composites through acoustic emission technique. The specimens were classified as three types for pin loading test : Base (before immersion), RT (room temperature immersion), HT ($75^{\circ}C$ immersion). As a results, the bearing strength of RT specimens was weakly decreased than that of base specimens. The bearing strength of HT specimens was greatly decreased than that of Base and RT specimens due to effects of simultaneous moisture and higher temperature. Also, the results from cumulative hit of acoustic emission indicated that AE events induced by matrix cracks of HT specimens was lower than that of base specimens.

A Qualitative Study on the Posttraumatic Growth Experience of Firefighters after Colleague's Suicide (소방공무원의 동료자살 이후 외상 후 성장 경험에 관한 질적연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe the semantic system and process of posttraumatic growth experience of firefighters after colleague's suicide. Grounded theory methodology based on symbolic interactionism was utilized. The subjects of this study were 7 firefighters who experienced the colleague's suicide. Data were collected by using in-depth interviews from October 1 to November 30, 2015. The results showed that "Gradually becoming more resilient" was analyzed to be the core category of firefighters' posttraumatic growth. We derived four categories and nine subcategories. Based on the results, it is necessary to develop a convergence intervention program to promote posttraumatic growth of firefighters exposed to various traumatic events.

  • The eruption of permanent teeth represents the movement in the alveolar bone before appearance in oral cavity, to the occlusal plane after appearance in oral cavity, and additive movement after reaching th the occlusal plane. Tooth eruption is mostly controlled by genetic signals. The eruption stage is divided to preeruptive alveolar stage, alveolar bone stage, mucosal stage according to the process of growth and development. If the disturbance is occured in any stage of eruption, tooth does not erupt. The cause of eruption disturbance are ectopic position of the tooth germ, obstruction of the eruption path and defects in the follicle or PDL. In the treatment of eruption disturbance, surgical procedures are commonly used. There are three kind of surgical procedure ; surgical exposure, surgical repositioning, surgical exposure and traction Surgical exposure is basic procedure. This involves removal of mucosa, bone, lesion that are surrounding the teeth, dental sac when necessary to maintain a patent channel between the crown and the normal eruptive path into the oral cavity. To ensure this patency, many techniques including cementation of a celluloid crown, packing with gutta-percha or zinc oxide-eugenol, or a surgical pack, are used. When surgical exposure is conducted, operators should not expose any part of cervical root cement and not injure periodontium or root of adjunct tooth. After surgical exposure, tooth should be surrounded by keratinized gingiva. There is direct relationship between the extent of development of pathophysiologic aberrations and the intensity of the manipulative injury inflicted on the tooth by surgical treatment, so operator should consider this thing. In these cases, surgical exposure is conducted on Maxillary 1st milars that have a eruption disturbance and improve the eruption disturbance effectively.

Evaluation of Permeability Performance by Cryogenic Thermal Shock in Composite Propellant Tank for Space Launch Vehicles (우주 발사체용 복합재 산화제 탱크 구조물의 극저온 열충격에 따른 투과도 성능 평가)

  • Polymer composites were used to reduce the weight of the spacecraft's cryogenic propellant tank. Since these materials were directional, the permeability performance of the gas permeated or delivered in the stacking direction was an indicator directly related to performance such as tank stability and onboard fuel quantity estimation. In addition, the results of permeation measurements and optical analysis of the surface to verify the effect of the number of cycles exposed to the cryogenic-room temperature environment are included. As a result, the permeability was inversely proportional to the thickness and was proportional to the number of thermal shocks, and it was verified that the permeability performance was suitable for the cryogenic propellant tank material for the space launch vehicle.

  • The existing EMR method placing computer servers in hospitals could expose patients' personal information to hospital officers and people for wrong purposes. In addition, if medical malpractice occurs, the possibility of distorting medical records might be higher because patients' medical records are stored in hospitals. This study provides an electronic medical record with a security system to solve patients' information disclosure. The electronic medical record system could be utilized as an important information when medical malpractice occurs. This system can provide higher security services certifying patients safely and efficiently as well as protecting patients' personal information.

A Study on the Behaviour of High Temperature Corrosion of Fe-22Cr-5Al-X(X=Zr,Y) (Fe-22Cr-5Al-X(X=Zr,Y)합금의 고온 부식거동에 관한 연구)

  • Fe-22Cr-5AI-X(X=Zr, Y)합금을 1143K, 고온 황화(P$s_{2}$=1.11x$10^{-7}$atm, P$O_{s}$ =3.11x$10^{-20atm}$) 및 황화/산화 (P$s_{2}$=8.31x$10^{-8}$atm, P$O_{s}$ =3.31x$10^{-18atm}$) 환경의 복합가스 분위기에서 1-30시간동안 노출하여 합금표면에 형성된 부식층을 관찰하여 SEM/EDS로 분석하였다. Fe-22Cr-5AI합금은 고온 부식환경에서 부식 생성물의 성장은 포물선법칙을 따르고 주요 성분은 결함이 많고 다공질인 철과 크롬의 황화물[(Fe, Cr)Sx]이므로 고온 내식성이 감소하였다. Zr을 1wt%첨가한 Fe-22Cr-5AI합금의 고온 부식거동은 Y을 1wt%첨가한 합금과 비슷한 거동을 나타내었다. 황화환경에서는 Cr의 선택 황화에 의한 크롬 황화물(CrS)이 생성되고 노출시간의 경과에 따라 (Fe, Cr)Sx나 (Cr, Fe)Sx 등의 황화물의 성장으로 고온 내식성이 감소하였다. 그러나 황화/산화환경에서는 초기에는 알루미늄산화물(A $I_{2}$ $O_{3}$)및 지르코늄산화물(Zr $O_{2}$)등이 생성되어 보호적이었으나 15시간이후 부터 (Fe, Cr)Sx나 (Cr, Fe)Sx 의 황화물의 성장으로 고온 내식성이 감소하였다.

Degradation Characteristics of Structural Adhesives (구조용 접착제의 열화 특성 연구)

  • In this study, a series of degradation test for structural adhesives was performed to investigate the possibility of replacement of the alternative adhesives to the conventional adhesives. Four types of the adhesives were exposed to combined environmental conditions over 1000 hours at an accelerated aging tester, which can simulate natural weather conditions such temperature, moisture and ultraviolet. Mechanical and chemical properties of the adhesives were evaluated through material testing system and FT/IR spectrometer. According to the results, the conventional adhesives can be replaced by the alternative adhesives because the alternative adhesives were more stable to environmental conditions rather than the conventional adhesives.
