Copy Protection technology using scene-based video watermarking (장면단위의 비디오 워터마킹을 이용한 복사방지기술)

  • 디지털 방송의 발달과 인터넷의 사용증가로 인해 멀티미디어 데이터가 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 데이터의 쟁점 중 하나인 불법복제로부터 저작권을 보호하기 위한 비디오 워터마킹 방법을 제안한다. 하드디스크를 내장한 디지털 방송 수신기에 복사 방지를 위한 복사제어 정보를 장면단위로 영상의 복잡도와 움직임 벡터의 크기를 고려하여 워터마크의 형태로 삽입한다. 즉, 복잡한 장면에 대해서는 강도를 강하게 삽입하고 단순한 장면에 대해서는 강도를 약하게 삽입함으로써 워터마크의 비가시성과 강인성을 동시에 만족할 수 있다.

A Study of Storage Device Control Method for File Outflow Protecting (파일유출 방지를 위한 저장장치 제어기법에 대한 연구)

  • The files of intellectual property on computer systems have increasingly been exposed to such threats that they can be flowed out by internal users or outer attacks through the network. The File Outflow Protection System detects file outflow when users not only copy files on client computers into storage devices, but also print them. This Protection system has been designed to Win32 API hooking by I/O Manager in kernel level if files are flowed out by copying. As a result, the monitoring system has exactly detected file outflows, which is proved through testing.

복사관 버너의 연소특성

  • 복사관을 이용한 가열방식은 복사관내에서 연료를 연소시킬 때 얻어지는 열이 관을 통하여 복사됨으로서 피가열물을 가열하는 방식으로서 분위기제어가 필요한 열처리로 등에 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 연속 소둔설비용으로서 저 NOx화 및 복사관의 표면온도를 상대적으로 균일하게 가열시키는 특성을 가진 버너의 개발을 위한 것으로서 실기규모 연소실험을 수행하였다. 연소실험은 기존버너 및 편심노즐버너에 대해서 수행하였으며 특히 개발실험용 버너의 실험과정에서는 새로 고안된 버너의 성능평가로부터 최적화에 이르기까지의 종합적인 실험을 수행하였다. 개발실험에 의해 편심노즐을 특징으로 하는 2단연소식 복사관버너를 고안하였으며 시제품버너의 성능실험결과 기존버너보다 NOx방출량에서 30%의 감소를 보여주었으며 복사관에서의 온도의 균일성이 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, the regular service of a terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting(T-DMB) made faster distribution of T-DMB receiver. The problem of an illegal distribution is increasing owing to a large distribution of T-DMB receiver. In this paper, we propose a watermarking and encryption method on T-DMB bit-stream for a copy and Play control to prevent an illegal distribution of T-DMB contents. We implement our proposed method on a portable multimedia player (PMP) which has T-DMB receiver. The proposed method insert the encrypted information for control of copy and play after finding padding area of program map table (PMT) and program association table (PAT) from analysis of transport stream (TS) of T-DMB. In implementation result, we can control use of contents according to information of copy and play control. The proposed method can be used to content Protection software for blocking of an illegal distribution of T-DMB contents on a mobile T-DMB receivers.

  • A grating composed of elliptical cylinders (GEC), specially designed, is applicable to control of radiation heat transfer from a heated surface, as reported in our previous work. In this study, an analysis of radiation heat transfer is performed for a physical model in which the GEC is placed in front of a heated black-base surface and the major axes of the elliptical cylinders are inclined as a certain angle from the normal to the row of elliptical cylinders. Numerical solutions are obtained. Variations of the direction and the radiative energy concentration with slant angle of the major axis are shown for some parameters. It is verified that the GEC is able to widely change the direction of radiation heat transfer from the heated surface.

Surface Temperature Control of an Insulated Horizontal Pipe under Thermal Radiation Environment (복사효과를 포함하는 수평관 표면의 온도제어)

  • Procedures for estimation of insulation thickness for a horizontal pipe for condensation control or personnel protection has been investigated, parallel to the previous work of a vertical wall case. Parameters include pipe diameter, emissivity, thermal conductivity, and operating temperatures. The results indicated that the surface emissivity plays a very important role in the design of insulation, specially for the case of high temperature application with low Bi. The effect of surface radiation in such case could be up to 65% of the total. Required insulation thickness for the surface temperature control increases as pipe diameter increases and as surface emissivity decreases. Adequate revision of specifications or standards to include newly invented insulation materials with high emissivity has been also suggested.

  • In this study, a rational procedures for estimation of insulation thickness for condensation control or personnel protection has been investigated. Both horizontal pipe and vertical wall configuration are included. Design parameters are pipe diameter or, height of the wall, thermal conductivity, emissivity, and operating temperatures. The results Indicated that the surface emissivity plays a very important role in the design of insulation for the purpose of surface temperature control, especially in natural convection situation. radiation heat transfer coefficients for some new insulation material surface, such as elastomers, estimated to be more than 90% of the total surface heat transfer coefficient. Adequate revision of specifications or standards has been also suggested.

  • In this paper, several improvements to a copy network proposed previously for multicast packet switching are described. The improvements provide a solution to some problems inherent in multicasting. The input fairness problem caused by overf low is solved by a dynamic starting point decider(DSD), which can calculate running sums of copy requests starting from any input port. The starting point is changed adaptively in every time slot based on both the fill level of the input buffers in current time slot and the overflow situations of the previous time slot. Using the fill level of the conventional network. The DSD also provides the function of regulating overall copy requests according to the amount of input traffics. This is an essential function in improving overall throughputs of the copy networks. The throughput of a multicast switch can be improved substantially if partial service of copy request is implemented when overflow occurs. Call-splitting can also be implemented by the DSD in a straightforward manner. The hardware for the DSD is derived with the objective of simple architectures for the high speed operation. Simulation study of the copy network under various traffic conditions is presented to evaluate its performance.

A Study on the Control of Water Flow and Water Temperature in the Radiant Cooling System through Simulations (시뮬레이션을 통한 바닥복사냉방 시스템의 공급유량 및 냉수온도 제어에 관한 연구)

  • The objectives of this study are to analyze the control variables according to condensation occurrence, to find the range in floor surface temperature and frequency of condensation, and to evaluate the control methods through simulations when the radiant heating system is used for cooling. Through the simulation analysis the control methods such as on/off control, variable flow control and outdoor reset with indoor temperature feedback control are evaluated and compared. The results show that the lowest floor surface temperature is around $23^{\circ}C$, the surface condensation can be prevented by controlling indoor humidity within 20g/kg(DA0, and that outdoor reset with indoor temperature feedback control is more appropriate than on/off control and variable flow control with regard to prevention of the condensation and thermal comfort.

  • The objectives of this study are to analyze the application of radiant floor cooling and to evaluate the control methods through experiments when the radiant heating system is used for cooling. Through the experiment analysis the control methods such as on/off control, variable flow control and outdoor reset with indoor temperature feedback control are evaluated and compared. The cooling curve (reset ratio) is found for radiant cooling, which shows tole relation between outside air temperature and supply water temperature. Comparison of cooling methods shows that outdoor reset with indoor temperature feedback control is more appropriate than on/off control and variable flow control with regard to prevention of the condensation and thermal comfort.
