  • 2001년 전력산업의 구조개편에 따라 우리나라는 현재 발전경쟁시장(CBP)을 운영하고 있으며, 이어서 도매경쟁시장(TWBP)의 개설을 준비하고 있다. 도매경쟁시장에서의 계통운영 보조서비스는 전력거래소와 발전사업자간의 계약에 의하여 제공되며, 전력거래소는 전력계통 신뢰도 및 전기품질 유지기준을 만족시킬 수 있도록 보조서비스 필요량을 정하여 운영하게 된다. 본 논문은 도매경쟁시장에서 적용할 주파수제어보조서비스 중 정상상태의 주파수 제어에 사용되는 자동발전제어(AGC)에 대하여 실계통 운영 실적자료 분석을 통한 AGC 필요량 산정방안을 제안하고, 적정필요량을 검토하였다.

  • 효율적 물관리란 거대한 물순환 과정에서 인간이 편안한 삶을 사는데 필요한 물의 이용효율을 극대화하는 것이다. 과거의 물관리는 이원화된 수량과 수질관리, 수량중심에서는 용수공급과 홍수조절이 주요한 관심사였다. 현재는 과거의 물관리에 친수와 환경을 더한 복잡한 분야로 확대되고 있다. 통합물관리란 물을 최적으로 관리하기 위해 물관리 이해당사자간의 소통과 물 기술의 고도화를 기반으로 기존에 분산된 물관리 구성요소들(시설 정보, 수량 수질 등)을 권역적으로 관리하는 것을 말한다. 본 연구에서는 대청댐 방류에 따른 금강 하류부의 홍수추적을 위해 수행한 댐하류 소유역별 강우량 빈도분석 과정, 용담댐 방류를 고려한 대청댐 홍수도달시간 검토, Poincare Section과 신경망기법을 이용한 수문자료 예측, 추계학적 다변량 해석과 다변량 신경망해석에 의한 대청댐 유입량 산정과정, 보조여수로 건설에 따른 주여수로와 보조여수로간의 연계운영방안, 단계(관심, 주의, 경계, 심각)를 고려한 대청댐 확보수위 산정, 저수지 중장기 운영계획 수립과 댐 운영 기준수위를 결정하기 위해 누가차분방식으로 적용되는 갈수기 유입량 빈도분석에 대한 실무적용 사례를 소개하고자 한다. 강우량 빈도분석 과정은 L-모멘트방법(Hosking과 Wallis, 1993)을 적용하였고, 홍수도달시간 검토는 평균유속, 하류 수위상승 기점 영향검토, 수리학적 모형(FLDWAV, Progressive lag method 등)을 활용하였다. 카오스 이론을 도입하여 대청댐 수문자료의 상관성 검토 및 추계학적 모형을 이용한 모의발생을 유도하여 수문자료 예측을 시행하였다. 추계학적 모형과 신경망모형 연구의 대상은 대청댐으로, 시계열 자료는 댐의 월강우량, 월유입량, 최고기온, 평균기온, 최소기온, 습도, 증발량 등의 자료를 기반으로 하였다. 적용기간은 1981~2009년의 자료를 이용하여 2010년 1월부터 12월까지 12개월 동안의 월유입량을 예측하였다. 수문자료 해석의 기본이 되는 약 30년간의 자료를 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 대청댐의 유입량 예측을 위해 적용된 모형으로는 추계학적 모형인 ARMA모형, TF모형, TFN 모형 등이 적용되었고, 또한 신경망 모형의 종류인 다층 퍼셉트론, PCA모형 등을 활용하여 실측치와 가장 가깝게 근사화시키는 방법론을 찾고자 하였다. 또한, 기존여수로와 보조여수로 연계운영을 위해 3차원 수치해석을 통한 댐하류 안정성 검토 및 확보수위 산정을 통해 단계(관심, 주의, 경계, 심각)별로 대처가 가능한 수위를 산정하였다.

  • 거문도 지역의 정보통신망시설에 관한 조사를 하기 위하여 2003년 9월 23일 우리는(연구 책임자인 본인과 연구보조원 2명) 거문도의 통신시설 및 통신상태현황 등을 조사하기 위해 오후 2시 20분 주식회사 온바다 소속의 페가서스호를 타고 여수여객선 터미널을 출발, 오후 4시23분 거문도에 도착, 24일까지 자료수집을 하고 오전 10시 20분 거문도를 출발, 12시 10분 여수에 도착하였다. 여수에 도착하여 다음날(25일) 자료수집을 위해 여수 해양경찰서를 방문하여 통신망에 관한 자료를 수집하였다. (중략)

  • In this paper, we proposed a real-time education assistive technology system based on haptic display to improve education environment of total blindness people. The proposed system consist of a lecture and writing S/W for educator and a previously developed haptic display H/W for total blindness people. The one has the major function which is quickly and easily writing to the education data, that will be provided to total blindness people, through familiar UI, the other has the major function which print out the tactile information about the education data. The result of implementing system not only provides a similar result using existing braille instrument and printer, but shows that it is effective performance and functionality because it can print out the education data in real time.

  • In this study, we carried out a case study with 38 pre-service mathematics teachers. A theoretical basis of this study is the 'technology principle' by NCTM(2000) and teaching-learning methods by the 7th curriculum. Using mathematics program(Grafeq.), we executed classroom activities for developing materials assisting teaching-teaming for 7th-9th grade mathematics. Pre-service mathematics teachers constructed mathematical designs for each grade by Grafeq. program. We tried to find the results for three research problems. On the basis of observation data, interview data and document materials, we analysed our results as follows. First, our activities help Pre-service mathematics teachers to examine and understand each grade mathematics. Second, we can developamathematicaldesignineachgrade mathematics. Therefore mathematical designs developed in this study can be used middle school mathematics classroom. Third, pre-service mathematics teachers gained the belief that the activities using mathematical in this study can be applied program. effectively to teaching and loaming school mathematics.

Strategic Cross-Fund Subsidization: Evidence from Equity Funds in Korea (우리나라 주식형 펀드의 전략적 행동: 주식형 펀드 간 교차보조를 중심으로)

  • This study uses Korea's equity fund-related data ranging from Jan. 2002 to Apr. 2010 to analyze the existence of cross-subsidization among funds managed by the same management company. The findings are as follows: i) a transfer of performance outcome is confirmed to move from low-fee funds to high-fee funds, meaning that management companies tend to maximize their own interest than investors' return. And such a tendency has been strengthened since 2008. ii) young funds overperform old funds, iii) funds with high returns in the previous quarter perform better than funds with low return in the same period. These results suggest that in order to protect investors, it is necessary to conduct close monitoring on transactions that might undermine the benefits of investors and comprehensive evaluation on the capability of management companies.

  • In this paper, a camera modeling method that utilizes ephemeris data and imaging geometry is presented. The proposed method constructs a mathematical model only with parameters that are contained in auxiliary files and does not require any ground control points for model construction. Control points are only needed to eliminate geolocation error of the model that is originated from errors embedded in the parameters that are used in model construction. By using a few (one or two) control points, RMS error of around pixel size can be obtained and control points are not necessarily uniformly distributed in line direction of the scene. This advantage is crucial in large-scale projects and will enable to reduce project cost dramatically.

A Review on the Stratigraphy, Depositional Period, and Basin Evolution of the Bansong Group (반송층군의 층서, 퇴적시기, 분지 진화에 관한 고찰)

  • The Mesozoic Bansong Group, distributed along the NE-SW thrust fault zone of the Okcheon Fold Belt in the Danyang-Yeongwol-Jeongseon areas, contains important information on the two Mosozoic orogenic cycles in the Koran Peninsula, the Permian-Triassic Songrim Orogeny and the Jurassic Daebo Orogeny. This study aims to review previous studies on the stratigraphy, depositional period, and basin evolution of the Bansong Group and to suggest future research directions. The perspective on the implication of the Bansong Group in the context of the tectonic evolution of the Korean Peninsula is largely divided into two points of view. The traditional view assumes that it was deposited as a product of the post-collisional Songrim Orogeny and then subsequently deformed by the Daebo Orogeny. This interpretation is based on the stratigraphic, paleontologic, and structural geologic research carried out in the Danyang Coalfield area. On the other hand, recent research regards the Bansong Group as a product of syn-orogenic sedimentation during the Daebo Orogeny. This alternative view is based on the zircon U-Pb ages of pyroclastic rocks distributed in the Yeongwol area and their structural position. However, both models cannot comprehensively explain the paleontological and geochronological data derived from Bansong Group sediments. This suggests the need for a new basin evolution model integrated from multidisciplinary data obtained through sedimentology, structural geology, geochronology, petrology, and geochemistry studies.

  • In spite of continuous implementation of the transportation demand management (TDM), the profuse use of car at the peak-time has caused chronic traffic congestion in the Seoul downtown area. This study makes a comparative analysis on the effectiveness of commuting cost subsidy system for public transit user with other policy instruments such as an increment in fuel tax and park cost. This study not only follows standard guidelines of stated preference methodology to guarantee objectivity, but also uses sample enumeration method and non-Parametric bootstrapping method to secure reliability of empirical results. As a result of empirical studies, the conversion effect of car to public transit is superior to other two Policy instruments. Also. an increment in fuel tax and park cost is income-regressive from the equity aspect in a wage bracket, but commuting cost subsidy system for Public transit user is Income-progressive As a fundamental research on commuting cost subsidy system for public transit user, this study is likely to Provide Policy-makers with quantitative information useful in establishing Public transport Policy to Promote the use of the public transit.

Optimal Routes Analysis of Vehicles for Auxiliary Operations in Open-pit Mines using a Heuristic Algorithm for the Traveling Salesman Problem (휴리스틱 외판원 문제 알고리즘을 이용한 노천광산 보조 작업 차량의 최적 이동경로 분석)

  • This study analyzed the optimal routes of auxiliary vehicles in an open-pit mine that need to traverse the entire mine through many working points. Unlike previous studies which usually used the Dijkstra's algorithm, this study utilized a heuristic algorithm for the Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP). Thus, the optimal routes of auxiliary vehicles could be determined by considering the visiting order of multiple working points. A case study at the Pasir open-pit coal mine, Indonesia was conducted to analyze the travel route of an auxiliary vehicle that monitors the working condition by traversing the entire mine without stopping. As a result, we could know that the heuristic TSP algorithm is more efficient than intuitive judgment in determining the optimal travel route; 20 minutes can be shortened when the auxiliary vehicle traverses the entire mine through 25 working points according to the route determined by the heuristic TSP algorithm. It is expected that the results of this study can be utilized as a basis to set the direction of future research for the system optimization of auxiliary vehicles in open-pit mines.
