  • The measurement of magnetic field is performed about DC and AC magnetic field in electric railway line. The test point is cap, on the converter/inverter box, on the traction motor and on the SIV, the height of measurement is bottom and 60 cm height. In case of AC magnetic field, the selected specific frequency is measured on the converter/inverter box. The AC magnetic field is checked and analysis through BNC output, DAQ cad and notebook PC.

  • 최근 환경에 대한 각국의 관심이 높아지면서 자동차의 배기가스 및 소음에 관한 규제 차들이 날로 높아 가고 있는 실정이다. 이에 대한 해결책의 하나로 전기 자동차에 관한 관심이 고조되고 있으며, 특히 기계적 에너지와 전기적 에너지를 동시에 제어함으로써 외부의 별도 전원 공급이 필요 없이 구동이 가능한 병렬 복합형 전기자동차가 많은 연구의 대상이 되고 있다. 병렬 복합형 전기자동차의 전동기는 저속에서 구동 회전력을 보조하여 배기가스와 소음을 감소시키며, 고속에서는 내연 기관으로부터 에너지를 공급받아 배터리를 충전한다. 본 논문에서는 인공지능을 이용하여 다양한 주행 조건, 운행 패턴 등에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있으며 배기가스 및 소음을 감소시킬 수 있는 운행 제어 알고리즘을 제안하고 이를 주행시험을 통하여 그 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • A receiver ASIC for fiber optic modules of STM-1 optical communication has been fabricated with 0.65 $\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS technology. The ASIC has a limit amplifier circuit for the 155.52 Mbps data reshaping, and a clock extraction circuit for the 155.52 MHz clock recovery. The ASIC has an acquisition aid and LOS monitoring circuit for properly operation with near 155.52 MHz clock frequency in case of the data loss due to transmission line open or data transfer fail. Measured results show that the circuit reshapes data from 5 mV to 1 V wide range of input voltage condition, add it recovers system clock with stable on any condition.

  • 자동차 산업은 친환경 규제 대응과 함께 운전자의 안전성, 편의성 등 운전자의 가치 증대에 초점을 맞추어 IT기술이 융합된 전장기술의 필요성이 증가하고 있으며, 기술 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이는 하이브리드 자동차나 전기자동차에 사용되는 인버터, 컨버터, 충전기 등의 전력변환장치뿐만 아니라 기존의 내연기관 자동차의 전자 샤시(electronic chassis), 지능형 자동차, 48V 전력시스템 등 다양한 부문의 전장품 개발을 포함한다. 전장품의 증가는 필수적으로 전력부하의 증가를 의미한다. 이러한 전기에너지 소모량 증가에 따른 대안으로 태양광 자동차 같은 친환경 에너지를 보조 전원으로 활용하는 자동차들이 개발되기도 한다. 하지만 이러한 차량 전기에너지의 감소 또는 증가가 연비에 미치는 영향을 판단할 수 있는 관련 연구를 찾기 어려울 뿐만 아니라 현장의 차량 설계자들은 실제 차량을 구현하기 전까지 전기 에너지 변화에 따른 연비 영향성을 판단하기 어려운 실정이다. 이에 따라, 본 논문에서는 내연 기관 차량의 전기에너지 변화에 따른 연비 영향성을 분석하여 보다 효율적인 에너지 사용 방안에 대해 고찰한다. 상용 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 이용하여 전기에너지 사용별 연비에 미치는 영향을 분석한다.

  • A supercapacitor, also called an ultracapacitor or an electrochemical capacitor, stores electrochemical energy by the adsorption/desorption of electrolytic ions or a fast and reversible redox reaction at the electrode surface, which is distinct from the chemical reaction of a battery. A supercapacitor features high specific power, high capacitance, almost infinite cyclability (~ 100,000 cycle), short charging time, good stability, low maintenance cost, and fast frequency response. Supercapacitors have been used in electronic devices to meet the requirements of rapid charging/discharging, such as for memory back-up, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Also, their use is being extended to transportation and large industry applications that require high power/energy density, such as for electric vehicles and power quality systems of smart grids. In power generation using intermittent power sources such as solar and wind, a supercapacitor is configured in the energy storage system together with a battery to compensate for the relatively slow charging/discharging time of the battery, to contribute to extending the lifecycle of the battery, and to improve the system power quality. This article provides a concise overview of the principles, mechanisms, and classification of energy storage of supercapacitors in accordance with the electrode materials. Also, it provides a review of the status of recent research and patent, product, and market trends in supercapacitor technology. There are many challenges to be solved to meet industrial demands such as for high voltage module technologies, high efficiency charging, safety, performance improvement, and competitive prices.

  • KTX control systems mutually control OBCS, ATC, MBU, TECA, MDT, ABU, HVAC, TRAE, PID and FDTR, KTX OBCS as master, and controls other sub-control devices as slave, using various serial lines. In order to analyze physical structure of various serial link lines and mutual data transmission structure, serial line analyzer is used in many ways. To use serial line analyzer, prior and professional technics about High Speed Train and experience of using device are necessary. In spite of difficult situation of space and environment where we work for maintenance of High Speed Train, in presenting basic structure about physical connection method aquired by sub-device serial line data collection and about communication data analysis, I hope that this research will be helpful for the person who work for similar area. Also, I hope that this research will help diagnostic work of High Speed Train, which is necessary for test run of independently developed High Speed Train.

  • Using network communication, KTX OBCS is KTX's core device which inspects operation status of various electric equipments and supports driving command, train control, train's maintenance, train crew's driving. Since this device is manufactured as specialized system, being dependent on TGV manufacture specification and France's high speed train operation method, actual technic transfer is difficult. Therefore, there are many difficulties, since most of interface signals are connected with OBCS when function improvement, maintenance, various electric equipments(propulsion control device, auxiliary power supply device, door control device etc.) are replaced with localized ones, which are required in operational view after introduction of KTX. Ergo, this study would like to contribute to function improvement and maintenance's efficiency, furthermore to realize technical independence, escaping from dependency of developed foreign technology in high speed train and electric equipments, through KTX OBCS' function analysis and mutual interface information analysis with peripheral device(driver console, PID system, fault display device, various electric equipments).

  • The inner-diameter 5 cm cold hollow cathode ion source was designed for the high current density and the homogeneous beam profile of ion beam. The ion source consisted of a cylindrical cathode, a generation part of magnetic field, a plasma chamber, convex type ion optic system with two grid electrode, and DC power supply system. The cold hollow cathode ion sources were classified into standard type (I), electron output electrode modified type (II). The operation of the ion source was done with discharge current, ion beam potential and argon gas flow rate. The modification of electron output electrode resulted in uniform plasma generation and uniform area of ion beam was extended from 5 cm to 20 cm. Improved ion source was evaluated with beam uniformity, ion current, team extraction efficiency, and ionization efficiency.

  • A river water level monitoring system which prevents salt water damages and effectively excludes floods has been developed to contribute efficient operation of Nakdong river estuary barrage. The system can be used for monitoring upstream conditions more quickly and do appropriate responses over changes. Telemetry and telecontrols using PLCs have been built at the three sites that directly influence on the operation of barrage gates, and are linked to Nakdong river estuary barrage's IOS (Integrated Operation System) through public communication networks. By using PLC, the system can achieve even higher reliability and versatility than before as well as easy management. By power control devices, we can remotely control the power of PLCs to treat the minor troubles instantly without going on-sites. The power control devices also save data in preparation for the cases of communication failures. The system uses ADSL (FTTH) as a main network between SCADA server and PLCs, and CDMA (M2M) as a secondary network. In order to compensate security vulnerabilities of public communication network, we have installed the VPNs for secure communication between center and the observation stations, just like a dedicated network. Generally, river water level observations have been used custom-manufactured remote terminals to suit their special goals. However, in this case, we have established a system with open architecture considering the interface between different systems, the ease of use and maintenance, security, price, etc.

  • Korean power consumption of the electrical supply problems due to excess demand is repeated every year, the interest in energy increasing social and personal cost has been subject to the number of ways to reduce this cost increases. Automatic doors and automatic door installation market is increasing every year and frequently, when used in general commercial and communal porch consumption based on average 300 times a day power is 70[W] degree is a monthly average usage is about 50.4[KW]. The level can not ignore the power consumption due to switching frequency is large. In this paper, by converting the energy to be discarded in the automatic doors to the inverter and the regenerative energy and to develop control systems for power regeneration to reduce the power consumption by utilizing automatic contact auxiliary power.
