A Study on Organizational Commitment and Goal Perception of University Librarians: A Qualitative Approach (대학도서관 사서의 조직몰입과 목표인식에 대한 연구: 질적 접근)

  • This study conducted qualitative research to investigate the librarians' organizational commitment and relations between the commitment and their goal recognition in the university library context with several open-ended, deep interviews with university librarians in order to understand the relations from diverse perspectives. As a result, many participants showed low level of organizational commitment because of their hygiene factors, such as payment, incentives, relations with colleagues, and job conditions as well as motivators including characteristics of the work, sense of accomplishment, responsibility, promotion, and self-improvement. The two factors are considered to have direct impacts on their organizational commitment. Also, the research revealed that positive goal perception was related to motivators and, at the same time, hygiene factors. Accordingly, we concluded that librarians' perception of goals are closely related to both hygiene factors and motivators. We also identify that a need of a statistical study with a questionnaire survey to confirm the relations between the organizational commitment and goal perception for developing managerial measures for the organizational commitment, and further;for better library performance.

Speaker Verification System Based on HMM Robust to Noise Environments (잡음환경에 강인한 HMM기반 화자 확인 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Intra-speaker variation, noise environments, and mismatch between training and test conditions are the major reasons for the speaker verification system unable to use it practically. In this study, we propose robust end-point detection algorithm, noise cancelling with the microphone property compensation technique, and inter-speaker discriminate technique by weighting cepstrum for robust speaker verification system. Simulation results show that the average speaker verification rate is improved in the rate of 17.65% with proposed end-point detection algorithm using LPC residue and is improved in the rate of 36.93% with proposed noise cancelling and microphone property compensation algorithm. The proposed weighting function for discriminating inter-speaker variations also improves the average speaker verification rate in the rate of 6.515%.

  • Speech enhancement techniques that remove surrounding noise are stressed to preprocessor of speech recognition. Among the various speech enhancement techniques, Codebook-based Speech Enhancement (CBSE) operates efficiently in non-stationary noise environments. But, CBSE has some problems that inaccurate gains can be estimated if mismatch occur between input noisy signal and trained speech/noise codevectors. In this paper, the Normalized Weighting Factor (NWF) is calculated by long-term noise estimation algorithm based on Signal-to-Noise Ratio, compensated to the conventional inaccurate gains. The proposed CBSE shows better performance than conventional CBSE.

ISAR Motion Compensation using Evolutionary Programming-Based Time-Frequency Analysis (진화 프로그래밍 기반의 시간-주파수 영역 해석법을 이용한 ISAR 영상 이동보상기법)

  • Many time-frequency analysis techniques have been used for motion compensated ISAR(Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar) imaging. In this work, a novel time-frequency(T-F) analysis called evolutionary adaptive wavelet transform (EAWT) and evolutionary adaptive joint time-frequency(EAJTF) procedure are used for the motion compensated ISAR image. To show the validity of our algorism, we use simulated MIG-25 and Boeing 727(B-727) ISAR data. From the constructed ISAR image using EAWT and EAJTF, we show that our algorithm can obtain a clear motion compensated ISAR image such as other time-frequency analysis techniques.

  • This study aims to examine the impact of Self-leadership(behavior- focused strategies, natural reward and constructive thought pattern to Technology Innovation. Hypotheses were tested by surveying 306 employees at Gumi Industrial Complex. The findings are as follows : First, two factors of Self-leadership had a significant positive effect on the product innovation except constructive thought pattern strategies. Second, two factors of Self-leadership had a significant positive effect on the process innovation except constructive thought pattern strategies.

Isolated-Word Speech Recognition in Telephone Environment Using Perceptual Auditory Characteristic (인지적 청각 특성을 이용한 고립 단어 전화 음성 인식)

  • In this paper, we propose GFCC(gammatone filter frequency cepstrum coefficient) parameter which was based on the auditory characteristic for accomplishing better speech recognition rate. And it is performed the experiment of speech recognition for isolated word acquired from telephone network. For the purpose of comparing GFCC parameter with other parameter, the experiment of speech recognition are carried out using MFCC and LPCC parameter. Also, for each parameter, we are implemented CMS(cepstral mean subtraction)which was applied or not in order to compensate channel distortion in telephone network. Accordingly, we found that the recognition rate using GFCC parameter is better than other parameter in the experimental result.

Performance Improvement of Korean Connected Digit Recognition Based on Acoustic Parameters (음향학적 파라메터를 이용한 한국어 연결숫자인식의 성능개선)

  • This paper proposes use of acoustic parameters to improve the discriminability among digit models in Korean connected digit recognition. The proposed method used the logarithmic values of energy ratio between the predetermined frequency bands as additional feature parameters, based on the acoustic-phonetic knowledge. The results of our experiment show that the proposed method reduced the error rate by 46% in comparison with the baseline system. And incorporation of channel compensation technique in the proposed method yielded error reduction of about 69%.

  • 본 연구는 아파트의 재건축이 거주민의 생활공간을 재창출할 수 있는 구체적 실현과정이라는 관점에서 이미 재건축이 결정되어 있는 아파트 단지의 주민을 대상으로 주민참여 및 의사반영에 대한 인식정도를 규명하고자 한 것으로서 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 구 있었다. 재건축 과정을 체험한 아파트 실 거주민의 주민참여에 대한 열망과 참여범위에 대한 폭이 상당히 크고 넓지만 주민참여를 구체적으로 실현시킬 수 있는 의사반영의 장이 다양하지 못하며, 주민참여를 통한 의사반영에 대해 '아파트 규모'와 '보상 또는 납부금액'등에 대해 서로 상반된 인식을 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주민참여 방법에 대해서는 주민모두의 동참이 필요할 뿐 아니라 상당부분 행정의 개입이 필요하다고 여기고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 앞으로는 재건축과정에서 보다 다양한 주민참여의 방법을 개발하고 그 참여의 폭을 넓힐 수 있는 새로운 방안의 모색이 필요하며, 이에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 필요하다고 여겨진다.

Image Compensation Algorithm for Holographic Data Storage System (홀로그램 데이터 저장 장치의 이미지 보정 알고리즘)

  • 본 논문에서는 확대, 축소, 회전 등과 같은 선형, 비선형 왜곡이 포함된 이미지에 대해, 이미지의 외곽선을 찾아서 이미지를 보정하고 싱크 마크(Sync. Mark)를 사용하여 데이터를 샘플링하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 외곽선을 찾기 위한 방법으로 허프 변환(Hough Transform)을 사용하였으며, 찾아낸 외곽선을 이용하여 이미지의 영역을 인식하고, 이미지의 왜곡을 줄이기 위하여 이미지 와핑(warping) 기법을 적용하였다. 이미지의 비선형 왜곡을 보상하기 위하여 이미지의 싱크 마크(Sync. Mark)를 공분산(covariance)을 사용하여 인식하고 샘플링 위치를 보정하였다. 또한, 제안된 알고리즘은 Over Sampling 자체를 하나의 이미지 확대로 인식하여 처리하기 때문에 어떠한 Over Sampling 에도 적용 가능하다.
