A Study in the Perception of the Harmony of Coloration in Traditional Korean Dress of Korean and American Students -On the Tone in Tone Coloration- (한복배색의 조화감에 대한 한.미 여대생의 지각반응 연구(제1보) -톤 인 톤 배색을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this research was to evaluate the harmony of colors of the traditional Korean skirt and jacket. 3 colors of jacket and 6 colors of skirt were combined by 4 kind of colors tone. The Korean women college students and the American women college students (University of Wisconsin-Madison) were selected to evaluate the harmony of colors. It could be supposed that the different evaluation were caused by their different cultural backgrounds. The results of the research can be summarized as follows. When colors were combined with four tone(vivid, light, dull and dark), American students evaluated the same colors of red skirt and red jacket, green skirt and green jacket as harmonized coloration. But Korean students thought they were not harmonized. The yellow colors of jacket and the similar colors of red skirt were evaluated as harmonized by both Korean and American students. They evaluated the green jacket and the red skirt of contrast color as harmonized. The different tone of color caused the different evaluation of harmony of colors by both Korean and American students.

  • This paper is concerned with the modeling and identification of time series data corrupted by noise. As modeling techniques, nonsingleton fuzzy logic system (NFLS) is employed for the modeling of corrupted time series. Main characteristic of the NFLS is a fuzzy system whose inputs are modeled as fuzzy number. So the NFLS is especially useful in cases where the available training data or the input data to the fuzzy logic system are corrupted by noise. Simulation results of the Mackey-Glass time series data will be demonstrated to show the performance of the modeling methods. As a result, NFLS does a much better job of modeling noisy time series data than does a traditional Mamdani FLS.

  • A trajectory analysis program was developed to predict KSLV-II (Korea Space Launch Vehicle-II) performance with the reducing weight. The program estimates the LEO (Low Earth Orbit) / SSO (Sun-Synchronous Orbit) injection performance, which is determined as payload weight for the orbits, with decreasing the structural ratio or increasing rocket engine power. It is expected that the KSLV-II can transport up to 4.5 tons, 3 tons of space payloads at LEO, SSO with a reduced structural ratio by 60% of the original. It also shows that the KSLV-II can transport up to 3.65 tons at SSO by applying advanced engines of 90 tonf, 10 tonf class with the reduced structure.

  • 폴리 실리톤으로 제작된 마이크로 미러의 표면에서 반사되는 스펙클을 이용하여 홀 로그램을 기록하였다. 마이크로 미러에서 반사되는 스펙클 패턴은 다중모드 광섬유에서 관 측할 수 있는 스펙클과 거의 비슷한 형태로 보이며 이를 이용하여 홀로그램의 기록밀도를 향상시킬수 있음을 보였다.

  • 최근 위험물질에 의한 폭발 및 테러의 위험성 증가로 인하여 사회간접자본 시설물인 댐/보, 원자력 발전소, 병원 구조물과 같은 주요 시설물의 폭발 안전성 평가 연구가 이슈화 되고 있어, 본 연구에서는 가스폭발에 의한 다기능 보 구조물의 거동을 평가하고 안전성을 분석 하고 자 한다. 본 연구에서 폭발 해석에 필요한 하중 조건 산정은 PHAST 프로그램을 사용하여 주변 온도 및 공기 특성 등을 고려한 약 5톤의 가스 폭발 조건을 구축 하였다. 또한 다기능 보 구조물의 거동 분석을 위해 구조물-지반 상호 작용을 고려한 2차원 유한 요소 모델을 구축하여 폭발에 의한 구조물 거동을 평가 하였다. 다기능 보 구조물의 수치해석 결과 보 구체와 Stilling Basin구조물 사이의 연결부에 응력집중 현상이 발생하는 것으로 평가 되었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of color, shirt tone, tie tone, perceiver's gender on impression formation by applying tone on tone coloration of shirt and necktie: coloration of two colors. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The stimuli were 32 upper body photographs which were color outputs by CAD system(4D-box program). We unified those colors of shirts and neckties same, then made shirt and necktie tone differently. 27 bi-polar adjectives, each of which was graded into seven in its degree, were used to evaluate the impression. The subjects of this research were 192 male and 192 female college students in Gyeongnam province including Jinju City. The data was analyzed by using SPSS program. Analysis methods were four-way ANOVA. The items of the adjectives were classified into 5 impression dimension. - potency, activity, attractiveness, visibility and tenderness. Color, shirt tone, tie tone, and perceiver gender influenced on 5 impression formation by interaction as well as independently. Blue tie with vivid, light or dull tone had an effect on the formation of potency impression, vivid or light tone of shirt affected activity regardless of color or tie tone. As shirt and tie had different tone, effect on the formation of attractiveness impression, light tone had a negative effect on visibility but positive effect on tenderness. red color were more effective than blue expressed on visibility and tenderness in shirt or tie.

  • OFDM(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) is very effective forhigh data rate transmission system. However, communication performance becomes worse because of nonlinear distortion resulting from the PAPR. In this paper, we like to propose a tone-controlled CI/OFDM system including the TMD (inter-modulation distortion) reduction method in order to improve the BER performance. In this tone-controlled CI/OFDM system, control tone is additionally inserted in each data symbol of CI/OFDM system to make the CI/OFDM lower the PAPR and robust to nonlinear distortion. So, tone-controlled CI/OFDM using the IMD reduction method shows better BER (bit error rate) performance than methods based on PAPR reduction.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of shirt color, tie color, tone, perceiver' gender on impression formation by applying tone-in-tone coloration of shirt and necktie: coloration of two colors. This experiment was designed to utilize the $2{\times}6{\times}4{\times}2$ factorial designs. and they are shirt color(red, blue), tie color(red, yellow red, yellow, green, blue, purple), tone(vivid, light, dull, dark), and perceiver' gender(a male, a female). The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The stimuli were 48 upper body photographs which were color outputs by CAD system(4D-box program). The subjects of this research were 288 male and 288 female college students. There were established impression dimension from factor analysis 27 bi-polar adjectives and investigated the effect of interaction between each variable affected impression formations. The items of the adjectives are classified into 4 Impression dimensions: activity, potency, attractiveness, and tenderness. Shirt color, tie color, tone, and perceiver' gender influenced on impression formation. Specially, tie color and tone influenced on the 4 impression dimension greatly by interaction as well as independently. As a result tie is very important clue of impression formation in tone-in-tone coloration of shirt and necktie. Even though tie occupies only a small area in men's clothes it has great effect since it is close to the face.

A Laboratory Study for Reclamation of Salt-Affected Soils by Gypsum Amendment and Water Management Practices (石膏處理 및 用水管理方法에 의한 鹽害土壤의 除鹽實驗)

  • 石膏(改良劑)處理 및 用水管理方法에 依한 鹽害土壤의 除鹽效果를 分析하기 爲하여 浸出法(leaching method), 水洗法(rinsing method), 湛水法(ponding method ; 石膏混合處理 및 石膏非混合處理)에 依해서 3處理 3反復 4回連續抽出實驗이 遂行되었다. 나트륨減少量과 總鹽分減少率은 浸出法이 水洗法이나 湛水法에 比하여 더욱 效果的이었다. 石膏處理區의 除鹽率이 石膏無處理區의 除鹽率보다 比較的 높았으며 石膏處理區(에이커當 2톤 石膏處理區 및 4톤 石膏處理區) 사이에는 別差異가 없었다. 除鹽實驗後 나트륨吸着度(SAR)는 浸出法과 水洗法을 使用한 石膏處理區에서 $10(meq/l)^{1/2}$以下로 減少되었다. 連續抽出의 境遇 SAR은 水洗法을 使用한 石膏處理法에서 單位土壤깊이當 供給用水깊이의 比率($D_w/D_s$)이 3.0以上으로 될때 $10(meq/l)^{1/2}$以下로 減少되었고 浸出法을 使用한 石膏處理區에서는 $D_w/D_s$가 1.5以上일때 $10(meq/l)^{1/2}$以下로 減少되었다. 除鹽實驗後 飽和抽出液의 電氣傳導度(EC)는 全實驗區에서 4mmhos/cm以下로 減少되었다. 連續抽出의 境遇 EC는 水洗法을 使用한 石膏處理區에서 $D_w/D_s$가 3.0以上일때 4mmhos/cm以下로 減少되었고浸出法을 使用한 石膏處理區에서는 $D_w/D_s$가 1.5以上으로 될때 4mmhos/cm以下로 減少되었다. 排水가 比較的 良好한 土壤의 置換性나트륨百分率(ESP)은 除鹽實驗後 浸出法과 水洗法을 使用한 石膏處理區에서 15%以下로 減少되었고 排水가 不良한 土壤의 ESP는 水洗法을 使用한 石膏處理區에서 15%以下로 減少되었다. 나트륨吸着度, 電氣傳導度, 置換性나트륨百分率 等을 勘案하여 볼때 本鹽害土壤은 石膏處理浸出法 또는 石膏處理水洗法에 依하여 比較的 쉽게 改良될 수 있다고 判斷된다. 除鹽效果 및 改良劑費用等을 考慮하여 보면 排水가 比較적 良好한 鹽害土壤의 境遇 에이커當 2톤 石膏處理 浸出法이 效果的인 方法으로 보이며 排水가 不良한 鹽害土壤의 境遇에는 에이커當 2톤 石膏處理 水洗法이 比較的 效率的인 除鹽 方法이라고 思科된다. 排水가 不良한 鹽害土壤의 浸透率을 增加시키고 除鹽을 促進시키기 爲해서는 石膏等과 같은 改良劑의 供給이 必要한 것으로 看做되며 現場條件下에서도 表土層土壤의 除鹽을 爲해서는 石膏處理浸出法과 石膏處理水洗法이 效率的인 方法으로 期待된다.
