  • 다양한 환경에서 무선 센서노드 시스템이 적용됨에 따라 해당 시스템의 통신 방식이 중요해 지고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 통신 방식 중 진폭 변조 방식을 사용한 통신방식에서의 복조회로를 제안하였다. 보다 효율적인 복조를 위해 동적 기준전압 방식의 복조회로를 구현함으로써 저전압 입력 시에도 복조가 가능하게 하여 센서노드의 인식거리를 확대했다. 또한 제안된 회로를 시스템에 직접 적용하여 실제 진폭변조신호의 복조가 가능한지 검증함으로써 센서노드 시스템에 적용 가능함을 보였다.

  • An algorithm for BPSK demodulation of which channel is an electric distribution line is developed, and realized in this paper. To realize the BPSK demodulation by microprocessor, BPSK signal that is received through the distribution line must be converted to digital signal. A hardware which converts BPSK signal to digital one has been designed in this paper, and an algorithm for BPSK demoduation of which channel is distribution line has been also developed in algorithm for BPSK demoduation of which channel is distribution line has been also developed in this paper by paying the attention to the fact that a modulated point appears up and down according to the rising edge and falling edge of the modulated binary signal if the carrier frequency is even times to the modulated binary signal, and by paying the attention to the fact that the signal duration or modulated point is twice of the other point. The microprocessor demodulation system with the algorithm has been realized. The system proved to have 0.02%(or less) bit error rate in real BPSK demodulation.

  • 이 논문에 서 는 DVB-S2 BC(Backward Compatibility) 모드에서 복조방식 에 따른 수신성 능을 분석하였다. 송신기는 DVB-S(HP)와 DVB-S2(LP) 스트림을 계층적 비대칭 8-PSK로 변조시킨 신호를 전송하며, 수신기는 계층적 변조 신호를 복조하기 위하여 LSB 에서 MSB순으로 복조하는 방식과 사분면 추정지수와 LLR 계산기를 이용한 계층적 복조방식을 적용할 수 있다. 이 논문은 두 복조방식에 대한 성능분석을 AWGN 및 비선형 채널에서 통계적 분석과 모의실험을 통하여 수행하였다.

  • Sonobuoy is a disposable device that collects underwater acoustic information and is designed to transmit signals collected in a particular area to nearby aircraft or ships and sink to the seabed upon completion of its mission. In a conventional sonobouy signal transmission and reception system, collected signals are modulated and transmitted using techniques such as frequency division modulation or Gaussian frequency shift keying, and received and demodulated by an aircraft or a ship. However, this method has the disadvantage of the large amount of information to be transmitted and low security due to relatively simple modulation and demodulation methods. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method that uses an autoencoder to encode a transmission signal into a low-dimensional latent vector to transmit the latent vector to an aircraft or ship and decode the received latent vector to improve signal security and to reduce the amount of transmission information by approximately a factor of a hundred compared to the conventional method. As a result of confirming the sample spectrogram reconstructed by the proposed method through simulation, it was confirmed that the original signal could be restored from a low-dimensional latent vector.

  • This study is to dvelop a radiotelemetry system to transmit and receive ECG (electrocardiograph) and event signals by using the frequency division multiplexing(FDM) technique. ECG signal sensed by the electrodes is amplified and added to the event signals acting in different frequency range for lead-off, nurse call and low level battery by using FDM. The sub-carrier oscillator using Colpitts circuits and main carrier frequency which is multiplied is frequency modulated by this superhetrodyne technique, and demodulated from the compose IF signal through the quadrature demodulator. A pulse counter demodulator and filtering circuits extract the original ECG and event signals.

  • In this paper, we proposed the differential demodulation technique of 2-h CPM and analyzed its error performances. We derived the sets of modulation indices of 2-h phase codes adequate to the differential detection. The power spectra of 2-h CPM signals with various sets of mudulation indices are illustrated and compared, Besides, the error performances for the differential detectors are calculated and detectors using Viterbi algorithm are compared and analyzed by computer simulations.

  • 본 논문에서는 실리콘 기반에 집적화 가능한 새로운 구조의 K-band 4포트 직접변환 수신기 구조를 제안하며, 복조기를 측정하기 위한 K-band 변조 신호를 구현할 수 있는 변조기 모듈을 제작, 변조 신호와 복조기를 검증하였다. 제안된 수신 구조는 CMOS와 같은 실리콘 기반의 IC에서 집적화 할 수 있는 소형화된 새로운 방법이며, 회로를 검증하기 위하여 0.18um CMOS 공정을 이용 제작, 구조의 가능성을 검증하였다. 또한 비교적 낮은 변조 신호를 이용하여 K-band 대역 이상의 변조 신호를 만들 수 있는 방법을 제안, 제작 측정하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a biorthogonal modulation employing a constant-amplitude transmission of multi-code signals by introducing a simple constant-amplitude coding scheme with redundant bits. The proposed constant-amplitude biorthogonal multi-code (CABM) modulation can provide high spectral efficiency compared with a conventional direct sequence/spread spectrum (DS/SS) modulation. Nevertheless the proposed CABM modulation can keep up a constant-amplitude signal. Additionally, we propose various types of demodulation structures for the CABM modulation. Simulation results show that bit error rate (BER) performance and hardware complexity of the proposed CABM modulation are highly improved in comparison with those of a constant-amplitude orthogonal multi-code (CAOM) modulation.

  • In this paper, we have studied the FM-extended broadcasting which makes the enhancement of stereo signal-to-noise ration by utilizing the compression technique and quadrature moduation method of standard subcarrier signal in transmitter station, and corresponding demodulation method and expansion technique in receiver system. The proposed system is completely compatible with the conventional FM stereo system. We have confirmed the validity of the proposed method by implementation of transmitter/receiver system including quadrature modulation/demodulation and companding system.

  • 기지국/단말 모뎀 검증 장치(MAT)는 기지국(AS) 모뎀, 단말(UE) 모뎀으로 구성되는 초고속 무선 전송 시스템(HM20) MIMO 구조 기지국/단말 모뎀의 자체 기능 검증과 기지국 모뎀과 단말 모뎀의 연동 시험시 오류 원인을 분석하기 위하여 상향 링크(UL)와 하향 링크(DL)의 송. 수신단의 정합부에 디지털 및 아날로그 정합을 이용하여 기지국모뎀과 단말 모뎀이 정상적으로 동작하는지를 시험하게 된다. 모뎀 검증 장치(MAT)는 상향 링크 신호는 단말 변조기의 송신 신호 수신과 기지국 복조기에 변조 신호를 송신, 하향 링크 신호는 기지국 변조기의 송신 신호 수신, 단말 복조기에 변조 신호를 송신하는 기능을 수행하여 상향 링크 신호와 하향 링크 신호를 시험 및 분석하는 기능을 수행한다.
