트랙터 변속장치 기어의 3차원 파라매트릭 설계 및 분석 (Development of the 3D parametric modeling system for transmission gears of tractor)

  • This paper describes a three dimensional parametric modeling system for transmission gears of tractor. In conventional design and manufacturing, information about three dimensional shapes has been described in engineering drawings. However drawing based design presents several problems; 1) communication errors between the designer and the modeller or manufacturer. 2) time taken and costs incurred in the design process. To solve these problems the system of parametric design based modeling has been proposed. Developed system in this paper consists of four steps; 1) parametric design of transmission gears with a solid modeler. 2) evaluation of gear geometry and strength. 3) dynamic simulation for gear interference check. 4) gear stress analysis with a CAE software. The proposed system has been tested in the fields and found to be a useful system.

  • The modelling and design of the PCV(Pressure Control Valve) for passenger car CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) are considered in this paper. For analysis and design, the simulation model of the PCV is derived by using commercial software, AMESim. For a good design of the PCV, the sensitivity analysis for design parameters is carried out and the static and dynamic characteristics of the developed PCV are experimented. The simulation and experimental results are presented to show the validity of the design process.

  • With the growing traffic density and increasing comfort requirements, the automation of the drive train will gain importance in vehicles. The automatic clutch actuation relieves the drivers especially in urban driving and stop-and-go traffic conditions. This paper describes the dynamic modeling of a clutch actuator and clutch spring. The dynamic model of the clutch system is developed using MATLAB/Simulink, and evaluated by experimental data using a test rig. This performance simulator is useful to develop the clutch-by-wire (CBW) system for an automated manual transmission (AMT). The electro-mechanical type CBW system is also implemented as an automatic clutch for AMT. The prototype of CBW system is designed and implemented systematically, which is composed of an electric motor, worm gear and slider-crank mechanism. The test rig is developed to perform the basic function test of the automatic clutch, and the developed prototype is validated by the experimental data on the test rig.

내페이드와 힐스타트 가상 시험을 통한 수동변속기 클러치 시스템의 온도 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study of Temperature Predictions for Manual Transmission Clutch System via Anti-fade and Hill Start Virtual Test)

  • Excessive overheating to a manual transmission clutch system under operating conditions can be considered the main reason of its performance degradation. The clutch system has to be ensured with its service life by showing that it passes the extreme tests called anti-fade test and hill start test in a certain design step. In general, design feedbacks from these kinds of the experiments are adapted to the system to enhance its performance. However, it usually takes much time and costs a lot due to the repetition of the tests. In this research, a process to calculate temperature of the clutch system was developed to determine whether the design can be passed the anti-fade test and hill start test in the design phase. The process incorporates many CAE techniques such as heat transfer analysis using 1D dynamic simulation method, system dynamics, CFD and parametric optimization. CFD is utilized to analyze 3-dimensional heat transfer of the clutch system and fluid dynamics of air in the clutch housing. The process was applied for the clutch systems in several vehicle models. The results was compared with those of the experiment. The applicability of the developed process was verified by comparing the predicted results with experimental results.

NVH 향상을 위한 엔진 설치 시스템 최적화 (Engine Mounting System Optimization for Improve NVH)

  • 엔진 설치 시스템은 차량의 NVH 성능에 매우 중요한 시스템 이다. 차량의 NVH 성능은 공회전 진동(Idle Vibration), 엔진 쉐이크(Engine Shake) 시동 진동(Key ON/OFF Vibration), 변속 진동(Gear Shift Vibration) 등 다양한 이론이 존재한다. NVH 성능 개선을 위해 이러한 이론들에 대한 실제적 최적화가 필요하며, 특히 최적의 엔진 설치 위치와 강성을 찾아내는 것이 매우 중요하다. 또한 효과적인 NVH 성능 개선을 위하여 차량개발 프로세스 측면에서 제약조건과 한계가 있는 사후 조정보다는 개발 초기에 최적화가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 엔진 설치 시스템 관련 여러 이론에 대한 최적화 해석과 파워 트레인의 엄격한 모드 분리와 토크롤축(Torque Roll Axis), 탄성롤축(Elastic Roll Axis) 사이의 각도를 최소화 하는 다양한 시뮬레이션 케이스(Simulation Case)와 FE-모드를 개발초기에 수행하여 다중 최적화 분석을 함으로서 최적의 엔진 설치 위치와 강성을 찾아내어 NVH 성능을 개선하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 엘리베이터 속도 패턴을 결정하는데 중요한 2개의 요소인 편안한 승차감과 빠른 운송속도를 가지며 교통량 변화에 따른 다양한 속도 패턴을 제공 할 수 있는 새로운 속도 패턴 발생 방법을 제안한다. 기동과 정지 시에 변속 충격을 줄이기 위해서 가속과 감속 시간을 적절히 조정하고, 운송능력을 향상시키기 위해서 교통량 변화에 맞춰서 저크를 조정한다. 2입력 1출력의 퍼지 추론 시스템을 사용하여, 제안한 속도패턴을 가진 엘리베이터 시스템을 정밀 제어한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차가 정지하면 지정된 수초이내에 자동차의 공회전 상태를 자동적으로 정지시키고, 운전자가 출발하고자 할 때는 약속된 전기신호로 엔진의 시동을 거는 차량용 공회전 자동정지 제어시스템을 개발하였다. 이 장치는 다수의 선별된 엔진제어유닛과 변속기제어유닛의 전기신호를 입력신호로 하는 마이크로프로세서와 기타 주변 전자회로로 구성되어 있으며 자동차의 운전상태를 인식할 뿐 아니라 냉각수 온도에 따라 그 작동을 조정하고 재시동시 연료분사스킵 기법을 적용하여 자동차의 연료절약 및 유해배출가스를 저감하는 효과를 가지고 있다. 국내의 자동차 연비 및 유해배출가스측정 공인기관에서 ECE15+EUDC모드에서 본 제어시스템 장착차량의 주행시험을 실시하여 그 효과를 확인하였고 실차 적용가능성을 확보하였다.

  • This paper partially presents a Hierachical neural network architecture for providing the intelligent control of complex Automatic Transmission(A/T) system which is usually nonlinear and hard to model mathematically. It consists of the module to apply or release an engine brake at the slope and that to judge the intention of the driver. The HNN architecture simplifies the structure of the overall system and is efficient for the learning time. This paper describes how the sub-neural networks of each module have been constructed and will compare the result of the intelligent A/T control to that of the conventional shift pattern.

  • This paper refers to the results of a study on the usefulness of simulation techniques based on both modeling and experiments of KICK DOWN pressure control circuit using an duty solenoid valve controlled by pulse width modulation for an automatic transmission. In this study, dynamic characteristics of solenoid valve plunger and first pressure are verified. Besides, this paper shows the design data for improvement of feeling in changing of gear by means of simulation according to varying the size of jet orifice and temperature of automatic transmission fluid, which are the important variables of the first pressure.

  • This paper studied performance characteristics of hybrid automotive to replace existing fossil fuel vehicles. Specially, about power split type HEV that is T-HEV's drive system when a vehicle drives at steady speed, monitored both output of each engine, motor and generator and battery SOC (state of charge) and analyzed performance characteristic of power transmission system and electricity power parts. This study shows those that acquired and analyzed information from signals between HCU and each controller of actual T- vehicle. From this study, it is confirmed that each conditions of EV and HEV drive can be a improvement with respect to the fuel efficiency of vehicles.
