우리네 현대 생활에서 벽지가 주는 의미는 남다르다. 집안 들어섰을 때 첫 인상을 심어주는 것이 바로 벽지라는 것을 떠올리면 쉽게 이해가 갈 것이다. 이와 관련해 업계의 주목을 받고 있는 기업이 오늘의 주인공인 (주)서울벽지다. 1968년 창립된 이곳은 현재까지 벽지 소재 개발은 물론 디자인과 품질 향상 등에 꾸준히 노력해온 것으로 명성이 자자하다. 실제로 현재 (주)서울벽지는 국내에서 벽지산업을 이끌어 온 굴지의 벽지 전문회사다. 이곳이 단순히 벽지 생산에만 주력해 왔다고 생각하면 큰 오산이다. (주)서울벽지는 지난 2001년 업계 최초로 KS마크를 획득한 것을 시작으로 2007년에는 7년간의 연구개발 끝에 옥수수 전분을 활용한 '옥수수 벽지'를 국내 최초로 출시했다. 이 벽지는 LH공사 등 공기업에서 친환경 벽지로 인정받으면서 (주)서울벽지의 기술력을 널리 알렸다. 여기에 더해 이곳은 2008년부터는 디자인연구소를 설립해 신성장 동력을 발굴하고 있기도 하다. 실로 벽지업계를 선도하는 기업이라고 할 수 있다. (주)서울벽지 관계자들은 이처럼 회사가 끊임없이 성장 발전할 수 있었던 원동력을 빈틈없는 안전관리에서 찾고 있다. 감성안전을 필두로 하는 이곳의 자율안전관리가 어떻게 전개되고 있는지 찾아가 봤다.

As the population interested in interior design has been increasing, the global interior market has grown significantly. Global interior companies are developing and providing simulation services for various interior elements. Although wallpaper design is the most important interior element, existing wallpaper design simulation services are difficult to use due to drawbacks such as differences between expected and actual results, long simulation time, and the need for professional skills. We proposed a wallpaper image transformation method for interior design using cycle generative adversarial networks (GAN). The proposed method demonstrates that users can simulate wallpaper design within a short period of time based on interior image data using various types of wallpaper.

본 연구는 감성 공학적 접근법을 사용하여, 벽지의 디자인 요소와 소비자의 감성과의 관계를 정량적으로 규명하는 것을 목표로 한다. 문헌조사, 인터뷰 전문가 의견 등을 종합하여, 총 13개의 주관적 감성 변수(6개의 시각적 변수, 7개의 촉각적 변수) 와 4개의 벽지 디자인 요소(color, texture pattern, embossing depth, gloss)들이 추출되었으며, 최종 목표 감성은 '고급감'으로 정하였다. 9점 척도와 100점 척도으로 구성된 설문지를 통하여, 28개의 샘플 벽지에 대해서 30명의 목표 고객들을 대상으로 감성 평가 실험을 실시하였고, 주성분 회귀 분석, 수량화 이론 등을 이용한 분석을 통하여, 소비자의 감성과 디자인 요소와의 관계를 정량적으로 분석했으며, 고급감을 향상시킬 수 있는 감성 변수 조합과 디자인 요소 조합을 규명하였다.

Even though the notion exists that wall paper has got a short durability for interior decoration in terms of paper's nature, it can be the most important element among the modern dosing wall papering because of the variation of the walls visual effect. Wall paper hasn't been preserved well according to the paper's character and official records haven't been done well. So, by studying a case in which a room is maintained well, seeing various commercial samples which were used for an advertisement and reading several booklets it is possible to study historical evidence. In regard to wall paper and Papering. data, the commercial historic nature of the traditional wall papering has been recognized again in order to study the root of the technical and commercial background. In theory, the historic background research of traditional wall paper in the past is said to have established its theoretical system and the development of modern wall papering in the middle of Britain in 18th century. Through the theoretical study of wall papering, the following things have been researched: handling don the method of the traditional wall papering and lining paper, stylization of pattern by using the method of continual linking, subdivision of commercial cost and specialization of wallpaper, handing down the past traditional adhesion method, the origin of string wallpaper, utility of traditional wallpaper and its various abilities, the change from the face to face linking to duplicated linking, the development of DIY products by women's wallpaper selections. Put against other materials, wallpaper remains the most popular and preferable product for managing a wall and provides a decorative, wall dosing technique. This study can estimate the source of wallpapering history in order to create a systemic approach towards the future's wallpaper industry. This is very important data in order to establish a theoretical system of traditional wallpapering according to its historical research about wallpapering skills and its commercial aspect.

The study investigated trends in wall-covering displays in interior design stores. Although studies reported design trends at well-known exhibitions overseas such as Heimtextil and Maison objet, many different cases present actual realistic design flows. This study analyzes the actual market flow rather than design as an exhibition concept, and presents the interior CMF trends in 2019. The CMF design of wall-covering displayed in New York D&D Building in 2019 can be summarized as follows: W was the most frequently seen show-window, but like R, which is a strong color, it is also used to convey surrealistic images. The store entrance was designed to attract consumers' attention inside, and was constructed to reflect the actual trend. In the 2019 New York market, the wall-covering of Gray and YR were displayed through the shop entrance to suggest substantial sales. In addition, the demand for gold metallic wall-covering is significant as gold was strong in many forms. This study represents a valuable resource to identify trends in wall-covering from 2017 to 2019 compared with previous studies. This study represents a valuable foundation for a wide range of topics related to the use of wall-covering for interior decoration.

종이가 인류의 생활에 미치는 비중은 정보의 전달을 제 l의 목적으로 사용되고 있는 인쇄용 지와 필기용지가 차지하는 것이 가장 크다. 정보전달의 매개로 사용되는 종이의 용도 이외 의 것을 살펴보면 전사지, 감압.감열지, 절연지,OMR지, 항공권지, 벽지 등과 같은 특수지와 기능지가 있다. 특히 벽지는 다양한 문양과 색감으로 인간의 미적 감각과 정신적 안정감에 미치는 영향이 크다. 벽지의 기능은 여러 가지의 목적으로 우리들의 실생활에 있어서 없어서는 안될 중요한 건축 재료로서 사용되고 있다. 가장 중요한 벽지의 목적은 앞서 언급한 바와 같이 미려한 색상과 다양한 디자인으로 도안.인쇄 및 발포 처리된 벽지를 사용하여 단순한 벽면을 개인의 취향 에 맞게 함으로써 심리적 안정감을 가져옴과 동시에 미적 가치를 증가 시켜 문화 수준의 향 상에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 종이 벽지와 종이 벽지 원지를 기저로 하여 제조된 발포 벽지는 인화성이 강하기 때 문에 이들에 대한 적절한 난연 처리가 요구 되고 있다. 매년 발생되는 다양한 형태의 화재 는 돌이킬 수 없는 인명과 재산의 손실로 귀결되어 각별한 주의가 요구되기 때문에 주거공 간과 대중의 군집이 많이 이루어지는 공공장소에서의 난연 처리된 벽지 사용에 대한 중요성 이 나날이 그 강도를 더 해가고 있는 실정이다. 난연 처리된 벽지는 통상적인 벽지에 비하 여 제조 원가의 상승에 따라 가격이 비싸기 때문에 일반인들에게 있어서 그 사용은 주목할 정도로 증가되지 못하고 있으나, 생활 수준이 향상 될수록 안전에 대한 의식 강화와 정부의 노력으로 인하여 그 사용량은 크게 늘어날 것으로 기대된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 종이의 제조에 사용되는 원지의 충전제 종류와 양 그리고 난연 처리 된 폴리에스테르 섬유의 혼합을 달리하여 제조된 원지를 사용하여 난연 처려한 후 이들의 인화 특성에 대해 고찰 함으로써 보다 향상된 성능을 발휘 할 수 있는 난연 벽지의 제조와 개발에 보탬이 되고자 하였다.

In the 1900s, the cultural crossing of East and West was realized through the acceptance and reproduction of culture. Cultural change in the Orient was the result of attempts to harmonize the West's images, which they chose in their respective countries, with their own culture. However, research on design history until now has been centered on the West, and East was regarded as a beneficiary of civilization inherited from Western's. From the point of view of Western design history as a main trend, the unique characteristics of Korean design culture are not revealed. Therefore, through this studies, we want to distinguish Korea's modern design, which has been recognized as a minority. For the study, through the wallpaper, which is one of the detailed components of the interior space in modern times, we try to analyze the socio - cultural historical factors and design characteristics influencing the formation of the interior space in modern times. Summarizing a result of research. The early modern wallpaper of England mainly uses plants as motifs. But In Korea, animal patterns and letter patterns were used. The reason why European wallpaper was mainly a plant at the time was that the structure of the motif was useful for the process of creation. However, in the case of the Korean wallpaper pattern, the theme was selected according to the meaning of the motif, and it was abstracted appropriately for the 2D design. As a result, many geometric shapes were formed. In addition, European wallpaper pattern is more complex and organic than Korean wallpaper pattern. Therefore, the boundary of the central pattern as the basic unit is unclear and the patterns are connected. The pattern development method is not a simple repetition but a combination of symmetry and repetition. In Korea, on the other hand, the boundaries of unit patterns are clear and patterns are developed by simple repetition. There are many diamond-type repeating patterns in particular.

The Belgian textile wallcovering has the following background. The unique oceanic climate is optimized for flax. Beginning in the thirteenth century, British wool was produced for export to Britain or neighboring countries. Since the 15th century, Flemish paintings were influenced by color implementations, and these colors have influenced the developments of tapestry and art. Since that time, tapestry and paintings combined with paper technologies and Oriental civilizations, such as silk, that had been developed through trade ports, have been transformed into the form of current wallcoverings. Belgium produces the highest quality textile wallcovering using natural materials i.e., a combination of irregular and modern materials, and the implementation of different colors. The Belgian textile wallcovering is also a good representation of nature at the Heimtextil 2018, It provides a wide range of colors while retaining the best styles for wallcoverings in Belgium. The characteristics of Belgian wall coverings are: First, the high proportion of achromatic colors, especially the white ones, are analyzed for current trends. Second, it expresses the characteristics of materials by using only one material. This not only shows a high level of understanding of natural materials, but also shows a high level of development in terms of processing technology. Thirdly, linen was made into a formative expression using wrinkle processing and by printing geometric patterns, the rough texture of natural materials was expressed in harmony with modern patterns.
