The Study on The Production Testing Equipment for the Improvement of System Test Reliability in FCS (사격통제장치 시스템 시험의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 생산시험장비에 관한 연구)

  • This study described the design scheme for each step of the production test for the Fire Control System(FCS) of the K-55A1 PIP business of Hanwha Thales since 2011. From the time of receipt of the product It is necessary to improve the FCS's reliability by using the Unit Test, burn-In test, System Test. FCS of K-55A1 acts as a 'head' that control the self-propelled howitzer, and connected with the electrical and physical connection of self-propelled howitzer's multiple unit (Inertial navigation systems(IN), Muzzle Velocity Radar (MVR)) for the normal operation without an inch of error in operating. We designed the production testing equipment automatically as much as possible and designed with the environment similar to the self-propelled howitzer. by using this production testing equipment, It should help for the strengthen national defense of the Republic of Korea.

  • This paper propose interacting test programming methods between test equipment and hardware unit to verify function and performance of the hardware unit under test. Proposed test program can minimizes the risk of failures when the unit is mounted on the aircraft by testing and verifying the unit under the worst stress condition. Also, Object oriented design using UML make it easy to apply in other equipments. Test program consists of architecture package and hardware package. Architecture package is in a role for system management, log analysis, message receiving and message analysis. Messages that are used by system management define messages for testing and defined messages is sent and received to test equipment through Ethernet. Hardware package is in a role for hardware management that is needed to be tested and is related to a system. Hardware to be tested is divided into internal test and transmission test. Internal test inspects hardware itself and reports the test results to the test equipment. Transmission test inspects communication device by sending or receiving data. All kinds of test is done in the worst condition of the test unit executing in parallel. Each device is tested at least 482 times and at most 15,003 times about one hour. Test program is utilized in hardware reliability test like as environmental test or EMI test.

  • The optics used in an infrared imaging system has a strong refractive-index change according to temperature, so an autofocus control function is essential for a military infrared imaging system with a wide operating-temperature range. In this study, we design a triple-magnification infrared imaging system, and to compensate for the change in refractive index according to temperature we measure the change in the lens focus according to temperature. The autofocus control function was implemented by using the measured movement amount, and we could obtain an image with satisfactory resolution performance over a wide range of operating temperatures.

  • A Bake-Out test for STSAT-1 FM(Flight Model) was performed in a Bake-Out Chamber at SITC(Satellite Integration & Test Center) in KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute). The purpose of this test is to measure and analyze the outgassing rate to affect the optical equipment(FIMS) and to eliminate contaminants through the high temperature bake-out. This Bake-Out test is composed of three parts which are honeycomb panels & harnesses(Batch 1), an assembled satellite(Batch 2), and a disassembled satellite(Batch 3). For each test, quantitative and qualitative measurements and analysis were performed using TQCM(Thermoelectric Quartz Crystal Microbalance) and RGA(Residual Gas Analyzer.)

  • Resistivity seismic dilatometer (RSDMT) system is introduced. The resistivity module for obtaining resistivity-depth plot and seismic module for obtaining wave velocity-depth plot are attached to the conventional flat dilatometer testing equipment. To enhance the reliability and repeatability of seismic part in RSDMT, automatic testing system including automatic surface source, PC based data acquisition system and operating program was constructed. To obtain real resistivity value of soil, geometric factor for the array of electrodes in RSDMT was derived empirically. The verification studies for the developed RSDMT system were performed with SPT, CPTu, bender element test and DC resistivity survey. Through one penetration of RSDMT, various soil parameters were obtained and the reliability and repeatability of developed RSDMT system could be checked.

  • 농경지의 잔류비료나 농약 등의 비점오염원은 강수 또는 관개를 함에 따라 지표 및 지하 유출과 함께 거동함으로써 토양 내에 집적됨과 동시에 지하수 수질에도 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 특히, 최근 고부가가치 농산물 수요의 증가로 전국적으로 확대되고 있는 시설재배의 경우 노지재배와는 상이한 유출 및 침투 특성을 가지고 있음과 동시에 과다시비로 인한 오염원의 토양 내 집적이 심각한 수준이나, 이에 대한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 시설재배지와 관행재배 지역의 토양 내 비점오염원 오염부하량을 평가하고 지하침투 과정을 평가하기 위하여 시설재배지와 관행재배지의 비교 평가가 가능한 포장 및 광역단위 시험포장을 연구대상지역으로 선정하였다. 모니터링 대상지역에서 토양수, 토양수분, 관개량, 기상조건 등을 측정하기 위한 장비를 설치하여 비점 모니터링 시스템을 구축하였고, 한달에 두 번 모니터링을 통하여 자료 수집 체계를 확립하였다. 시설재배지 및 관행재배지 토양 및 토양수 수질 분석 결과, 시설재배지 내 영양물질 농도가 관행재배지와 비교하여 전반적으로 높았으며, 특히, 하부토층으로 내려갈수록 영양물질의 농도 및 편차가 크게 나타났다. 향후 본 시험포장에서의 지속적인 모니터링 및 샘플링을 통하여 시설재배지 토양내 비점오염원의 침투 과정을 분석할 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 지하침투 영향 및 오염부하량 모델링 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper describes the proposal, design, and implementation of a novel WDMX controller which can provide versatile light effects with the increased capability of the mobility and the number of universes for LED lights. Both the algorithm for DMX protocol and how to implement the frame based on a 8bit micro-controller are explained. The conversion algorithm between the DMX frame and wireless LAN 802. 11b protocol stack is introduced and implemented. In final, some experiments are made to verily the interoperability of the developed WDMX controller with a commercial product of LED lights. 최대 9,999 staves with 30 refresh rate per second may have capability to show various light effects.

Implementation of AESA Radar Integration Analysis System by using Heterogeneous Media

  • In this paper, implement and propose an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar integration analysis system which specialized for radar development by using heterogeneous media. Most analysis systems are used to analyze and improve the cause of defects, so they help the test easier. However, previous log analysis systems that operate only based on text are not intuitive and difficult to find the information user want at once if there is a lot of log information. so when an equipment defect occurs, there are limitations in analyzing the cause of defect. Therefore, the analysis system in this paper utilizes heterogeneous media. The media defined in this paper refers to recording text-based data, displaying data as image or video and visualizing data. The proposed analysis system classifies and stores data that transmitted and received between radar devices, radar target detection and Tracking algorithm data, etc. also displays and visualizes radar operation results and equipment defect information in real time. With this analysis system, it can quickly provide information what user want and assistance in developing high quality radar.

  • Many types of locking nut are commercializing in the various industries where has heavy vibration. Because nut's loosing causes a serious accident. But the most locking nuts are too expensive as the complicate manufacturing process. In this study, we design the new type of locking nut, "Curved-Nut" that is relatively simple making process. We study a relation between the elastic energy and the nut loosing mechanism. So it is analysed, the elastic energy of Curved-Nut comparing with the locking test. The Curved-Nut was manufactured on the commercial nut using a milling tool with horizontal cutting, one or two time under the nut. As the result, the more elastic energy the more prevent the loosing of the nut. We verified the performance of the loosing nut using the vibration testing equipment (NAS3350).

  • 해양환경용 구조물은 극심한 부식 환경에 노출되어 있고 부식손상으로 인한 직간접적 경제적 손실이 발생하고 있는 상황이다. 이에 대한 방식대책으로써 음극방식법이 선박, 교량, 각종 화학장비에 널리 이용되고 있으며, 이러한 산업분야에 가장 흔히 적용되고 있는 음극방식 중 하나가 피방식체에 일정 전류 또는 음극 전위를 인가하는 외부전원법이다. 이는 전도성 부식환경인 해수환경 하에서 철강 및 해양환경용 구조 재료의 내식성을 월등히 향상시킬 수 있기 때문에 설계에 있어서 고급 내식재료 대신 경제적인 상용 재료를 적용할 수 있어 비용 절감효과를 가질 수 있다. 한편 적정 방식전위에서는 부식손상으로부터 강재를 보호하지만, 과방식 전위에서는 취성이 발생함으로써 내구성 감소의 역효과가 나타날 수도 있기 때문에 최적 방식전위의 규명은 반드시 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 S355ML강에 대하여 천연해수 용액에서 다양한 정전위를 조건으로 전기화학실험을 실시하여 최적 방식전위를 규명하고자 하였다. 시험편은 에머리 페이퍼로 2000번까지 연마하였고, 아세톤과 증류수로 세척하여 실험하였다. 전기화학(정전위) 실험은 천연해수 속에서 $1.28cm^2$의 면적만을 노출시켜 진행하였으며, OCP로부터 -2.0V까지의 음극분극 곡선을 분석하여 정전위 조건들을 선정하였다. 그리고 외부 직류전원장치를 이용하여 1,200초 동안 다양한 정전위를 인가하였으며, 기준전극은 Ag/AgCl 전극을 이용하였다. 실험 후에는 주사전자현미경과 3D 현미경을 통해 시험편 표면을 관찰하였으며, 그 결과 일부 음극분극 구간에서 강재 표면에 전착물에 의한 뷸균일한 피막이 형성되었다. 또한, 일정 전위구간에서 용해 및 과전압에 대하여 표면손상 정도를 관찰하여, 해수환경 하에서 S355ML강의 최적 방식전위를 규명하였다.
