EMI Problem and Solutions of Unusual Harmonics in Low-Speed PCB (저속 PCB에서 이상 고조파의 EMI 문제 및 해결 방안)

  • In this paper, unusual harmonics noise problem of digital electronic products in mass production was introduced and a practical solution was proposed. Generally, 5th or higher harmonics noise level has been ignored in circuit designs because over 5th harmonics noise decreases by 40 (dB/decade). Through some measurements, it is confirmed that over 10th harmonics noise can propagate and radiate in case of a certain PCB or housing conditions. We propose a capacitively loaded micro-strip low pass filter for commercial products having spatial design constraints and measured the effectiveness. The proposed structure can solve both of the continual increment of harmonics noise level and the spatial design constraint of commercial products. We expect the proposed method be effectively used for various digital electronic products.

Influence of the Combustion Flames on the Flashover Characteristics of the Sphere-Sphere Air Gap (구-구갭의 섬락 특성에 미치는 연소화염의 영향)

  • In this paper, reduction characteristics of the AC and DC flashover voltage in the horizontal air gap of sphere-sphere electrode system were investigated when the combustion flame was present near the high voltage electrode. The voltage and current waveforms were measured, when the flashover is occurred, in order to examine the flashover polarity by flame. The reduction characteristics of AC flashover voltage were discussed with the thermal ionization process, the relative air density and the deflection phenomena in the shape of flames that caused by the coulomb's force. As the results of an experimental investigation, It was found that the reduction of flashover voltages in sphere-sphere system, in comparison with the no flame case, are $79.9[\%]$ for k=0, $82.9[\%]$ for k=0.5, $87.5[\%]$ for k=1.0, $85.0[\%]$ for h=0[cm], $40.8[\%]$ for h=5[cm] and $28.2[\%]$ for h=9[cm] when ac voltage is applied. The influence for thermal ionization process of the combustion flame in small scale no particular change is recognized.

  • The aim of this paper is to research the change in the turbulent flow and the AOA(Angle Of Attack) occurred by $40^{\circ}$ crosswind to the direction of runway through the three-dimensional numerical analysis and to predict the take-off and landing flight stability. As a result, the maximum amplitude of AOA variation on runway reached $2^{\circ}$ within 3 second because of the wake formed by the constructions in the vicinity of the airport, and the overall effects appeared as an irregular aperiodic forms. Additionally, it was observed that the layout and shape of the buildings effected on the strength of turbulence directly, and the rapid flow generated between the buildings changed into stronger wake and eventually expected that the flow raises serious take-off and landing flight instability.

소형(600l/min 급) 공랭식 건식진공펌프 기술 개발 연구

  • 최근 진공 산업은 반도체 산업의 급속한 발전과 더불어 진공 산업이 핵심기술로 부각되고 있으며, 진공 산업의 발전이 고부가가치를 창출하는 산업으로 발전하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 (유)우성진공 기술연구소에서는 국내에서 개발이 전무한 소형급 600l/min. 급의 배기속도를 가지는 공랭식 건식진공펌프 개발과 더불어 중소기업 혁신기술 개발사업의 성공적인 수행으로 인해 상용화 단계에 있다. 본 연구에서는 소형(600l/min. 급) 공랭식 건식진공펌프에 개발 과정 및 성능에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 우선, 여타 건식진공펌프와는 달리 냉각방식이 수냉식이 아니라 공랭식 이라는 점에서 에너지 절감 및 설치 공간 제약이 없으며, 유지 비용을 절감할 수 있는 장점을 가지며, 국내에서는 소형급의 건식진공펌프가 없는 관계로 시장성을 높게 평가하고 있다. 소형급 공랭식 건신진공펌프의 냉각효율을 고려하여 하우징을 알루미늄 합금으로 제작을 하였으며, 냉각핀을 적절하게 배치하여 압축열을 효과적으로 방출하기 위한 구조가 될 수 있도록 설계하였고, 냉각팬에 의한 공랭효과를 극대화하기 위해 펌프 스킨을 사용하여 공기 유로를 형성토록 하였다. 또한, 루츠의 형상 및 각 단의 압축효율을 고려한 최적의 로터를 설계하기 위해 Involute Curve를 이용한 3-Lobe형 로터를 설계하였으며, 로터와 로터간의 Clearance를 유지 할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 향후 최적화된 로터 설계기술과 이형재질(알루미늄과 주철)간 열팽창이 고려된 적절한 clearance 유지기술을 적용하여 안정적인 배기속도 600l/min.와 도달진공도 0.005 torr를 가지는 소형 공랭식 건식드라이펌프를 상용화 하고자 한다. 또한 성공적인 과제 종료 및 기술 개발에 따라 건식진공펌프 시장에 신기술 개발 확산에 따른 기업들 간의 기술 경쟁력 촉진을 통한 국가 기술력 향상을 기대해 볼 수 있다.

A Study on Constructability Improvement of LB-DECK Panel (LB-DECK 패널의 시공성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to improve constructability of LB-DECK construction in site such as inconvenience of main and distribution bars in arrangements LB-DECK Panel which is work is applied to many bridges these days as a permanent formwork. So, the constructability is improved by changing the method of allocation of main reinforcing bar and distribution bar which is reviewed for improving efficiency of design and construction process among the suggested methods. The crack shapes, deflections, and strains under static load of the improvement of LB-DECK Panel are compared and analyzed to former LB-DECK Panel. As a result, 13% of strength compared to before the improvement of LB-DECK Panel, and 10% of strength is increased in the case of slab.

A Study on the Failure Characteristic of Laminated Composites Joint Containing Two Holes in Series or Parallel (복합적층판의 직병렬 유공 접합부의 파손연구)

  • A series of test was performed by measuring the failure strength and the failure mode of fiber reinforced composite laminates joint containing two holes in Series or Parallel. $[0^{\circ}/45^{\circ}/90^{\circ}/-45^{\circ}]_s$ laminate with W/d(Side distance ratio) 4.0 and E/d(Edge distance ratio) 3.0 has the full bearing strength and are preferable in case of the good efficiency in two series hole. Comparisons were made between testing results and predicting values of the FEM model. Good agreements were fecund between them except the case of $E/d=2{\sim}3$. In the case of $G_h{\geq}3.0d$ and $G_v{\geq}3.0d$ since the interaction coefficients between two parallel holes and between two series holes were small, holes can be treated as independent. The Acoustic Emission(AE) and SEM method were utilized to find out the initial defects, damage and the fracture mechanism.

Nonlinear Analysis of Anchor Head for High Strength Steel Strand (고강도 강연선용 앵커헤드의 형상변화에 따른 비선형 거동특성 분석)

  • This study covers the nonlinear analysis of anchor head for high strength prestressing strand and presents necessary process in improving the performance of anchor head. The surface of wedge for strand is contacted to the surface of the wedge hole on anchor head when it is fitted into the wedge hole, and the contact condition changes according to the level of load applied through the wedge. In order to analyze detailed behavior, nonlinear material model and contact element were used in analysis. It was found from the analysis that the behavior of anchor head is affected by the interaction with the wedge contacted so that the wedge in FE model should have the same figure as the actual object. Circular array of wedge hole presents better stress distribution than layer array even though the small difference in maximum deformation. Increment of thickness of anchor head and distance of wedge hole also improve the performance of anchor head.

  • Four RC shear wall specimens with a/d of 2.2 are designed. And a flexural retrofitting is performed for one specimen by both enlarging wall section and adding additional vertical reinforcements. Also the effectivity of jaketting wall sides is evaluated for the two methods using only steel plate or welded wire mesh with enlargement of section. Cyclic loads are applied to the retrofitted specimens according to the loading history proposed by ACI under constant axial force. Test result showed that the strength and ductility of specimen were improved where the section was enlarged after the installation of additional vertical reinforcements. Confining the ends of wall by U shape W.W.F. with enlargement of section showed most excellent structural capacity regarding to the strength and ductility. Retrofitting by using steel plate was much effective not only to protect the abrupt decrease of strength after yield but also to improve the deformation capacity.

  • In many construction projects, such as dams, highways, airports, buildings, industrial plants, and sewerage and drainage systems earthmoving operation is defined the movements of a certain quantity of earth to alter the surface configuration or conditions so that projects requirement can be met. Accurate calculation of travel time is essential for determining productivity of earthmoving operations, and for ultimately selecting the most cost-effective fleet configuration for executing the work. Also transportation work that utilizes dump truck consists average So in the whole expenses earthmoving operation, and is an important cost factor for cost management. Therefore this study proposes a methodology for optimum transfer speen based on the analysis of factors affecting earthmoving operation in different road types by collecting the sources of dump truck running speeds and considering the main factors affecting the earthmoving operation.

Experimental Investigation on Combustion Performance of a Pintle Injector Engine with Double-row Rectangular Slot (핀틀 인젝터 Rectangular Slot 2열 형상에 따른 연소성능에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, combustion tests were performed to investigate combustion performance of a pintle injector engine with double row rectangular slot which uses kerosene and liquid oxygens as propellants. The double row rectangular slot was designed to improve the combustion performance of a pintle engine with a single row and the blockage factor was changed from 0.7 to 1.0. The main design parameters of the double row were distance between rows, area ratio and aspect ratio. The characteristic velocity efficiency was measured from 92.4 to 96.9 percentage for double row but 86.8 percentage for single row. It showed the highest combustion performance at the BF 0.85.
