An Analysis of Emotion and Sensibility according to the Color-combinations applied to Living room (거실공간의 배색기법에 따른 감성효과 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 (1) 인테리어에 대한 감성어휘모형을 도출하고, (2) 거실 인테리어의 주요 배색을 추출한 후, (3) 거실 공간의 배색 감성모형을 개발하였으며, (4) 연구결과를 토대로 거실 인테리어 디자인을 위한 배색기법을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 인테리어를 기술하는 감성어휘를 수집하고 이들로부터 대표적 감성어휘를 추출, 감성어휘척도를 구성하였다. 감성조사분석을 통해 '따뜻하다-차갑다'(제 1차원), '고급스럽다-소박하다(제 2차원)', '현대적이다-고전적이다'(제3차원)의 세 차원축이 도출되었고, 이렇게 도출된 감성공간 상에 감성어휘들을 대응시키고, 9개의 감성 범주로 구분함으로써 감성어휘모형을 개발하였다. 한편, 거실 인테리어의 주요 배색을 추출하여 배색자극물을 개발하고, 감성어휘모형과의 관계분석을 통해 거실 공간의 배색 감성모형을 개발하였다. 최종적으로, 배색 감성모형에서 도출된 9개의 감성범주와 그에 대응하는 배색을 기반으로 하여 거실용 인테리어 디자인의 핵심이미지에 따른 배색지침을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to present basic data for hair color work plans that can consistently produce hair color design products for designers through analysis of gradient techniques among hair color design techniques. The research method was to select 10 photos of women that appeared in mass media from 2022 to September 15, 2023, extract color chips and RGB values using the Eyedropper Tool in Adobe Photoshop CS6, and convert the RGB values of the color chips into Munsell Conversion ( The data was converted into HV/C values of version 12.1.13a). Based on the extracted data, the gradient hair colors of female pop stars were analyzed by displaying the data on a color scale. As a result, in the I.R.I color scheme image scale, the image of female pop stars was more hard than soft. In addition, it was confirmed that the focus was on static rather than dynamic. Color matching images according to hair color were extracted with adjectives such as noble, decent, elegant, and subtle. Three hairstyles were created using this theme.

  • 자동차 인테리어 디자인에 있어서 색상은 외형디자인과 함께 사용자의 감성적 평가를 결정짓는 중요한 요인중의 하나이다. 그러나 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 이에 대한 체계적인 연구가 이루어지지 않고 있는데 그 주된 이유로 자동차 프로토타입 모델의 완성 전에 가상적인 색상 배색 시뮬레이션을 해 볼 수 있는 기술적 기반이 미약했음을 들 수 있다. 다행히 최근의 컴퓨터 하드웨어 발달로 자동차 색상계획 단계에서 실시간으로 색채 배색효과를 시뮬레이션 할 수 있는 환경의 구축이 가능해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 색상이미지에 대한 사용자 감성척도를 기반으로 색상 배색 디자인을 지원할 수 있는 자동차 인테리어 색상 배색 지원 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 지원 시스템은 색상 감성 요소의 수집을 위한 정보수집 모듈, 색채 감성과 색상 속성의 상관관계를 추출하기 위한 컬러 감성 해석 모듈, 디자이너의 색상 배색을 지원하기 위한 시뮬레이션 모듈, 도출된 배색의 평가 테스트를 위한 평가 지원 모듈로 구성된다.

Analysis of Color Image Wedding Bouquet in the Interflora World Cup Competition (인터플로라 세계월드컵대회의 웨딩부케 색채이미지 분석)

  • Importance of color in floral design has been emphasized for long time, but it is difficult to find out standardization of color for floral design and for educational system. Wedding bouquet is major and important part of floral design and it shows same problem. The research is concentrated on color image analysis of wedding bouquet designs which have been submitted for 'Interflora World Cup Competition' with the intention to utilize the study result as the basic information of floral design. Colors of wedding bouquets from 20 different countries were analyzed. All of designers chose high brightness and saturation more for designing the bouquets. Warm colors and cold colors have been taken in similar portion. Blue color has been rarely used and it is probably because of the rarity of blue flowers. This study shows each continent has different color preference. European designers used wide variety of colors while Asian designers preferred red color. From this study, we found that color image scales of wedding bouquets represent 8 images out of 12 representative images. Four exceptions are 'clean', 'elegant', 'gentle' and 'modern' images.

A Development of Color Coordinate Support System for Car Interior Color Design (자동차 인테리어 배색 디자인을 위한 색상배색 지원 시스템 개발)

  • In the car design process, Interior color scheme is one of the important factors that determined consumer's emotional evaluation with a car styling. The systematic research on the car interior color planning may be not achieved in spite of its importance because it is difficult to simulate color scheme before deciding final prototype. The various alternative of color scheme can be simulated and evaluated in early stage of car design process based on upgraded performance of computer hardware and advance41 co-work system. This study proposed a color coordinate support system for car interior color design to support designer based on emotional scale of color image. Color coordinate support system have four kinds of module, that is, the information acquisition module for gathering user's emotional data, the evaluation module for analyzing relation of color impressions and color attributes, the simulation module for supporting color coordinate design, and the evaluation support module for testing final color alternatives.

  • The purpose of this study was to propose some plan which could satisfy consumer's expectation emotional needs by comparing emotional scale between fashion brand image and brand website coloration image. For this study, 12 brand websites within four fashion zone, men's clothing, women's clothing, casual wear, and sports wear were chosen. The questionnaires were comprised of 27 emotional adjectives which were selected from previous studies. The questionnaires were distributed to university students and office workers for 3 to 17 on September. Among them, 118 questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS tool. The qualitative analysis for emotional adjective sorting, content analysis for website color chip sorting, and quantitative analysis for consumers were used in this study. Some differences exist between brand image and website coloration band image as the result. As the numbers of internet user became larger, the costumer's emotional image which gives maximum satisfaction is getting more important in fashion brand website. Therefore, fashion website managers should satisfy consumers with functional and emotional needs.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of dot pattern size(0.8, 1.8, 2.5, 5, 8), color combination (BG/R, Y/B), value tone(lt/dk, p/g), area-ratio on image information. Sets of stimulus and response scales(7 point semantic) were used as experimental materials. The stimuli were 20 color pictures manipulated with the combination of dot pattern size, color combination, value tone and area-ratio using computer simulation. The subjects were 240 female undergraduates living in Gyeongsangnam-do. Image factor of the stimulus was composed of 4 different components, visibility, chastity.feminity, cuteness and attractiveness. In the visibility, color combination, value tone, area-ratio, dot pattern size showed independent effect. In the chastity feminity, color combination, value tone, showed independent effect. In the cuteness, value tone, area-ratio, dot pattern size showed independent effect. Significant interaction effects of color and area-ratio combination on visibility and cuteness were found. Interaction efforts of color and value tone combination, value tone and area-ratio was significant on cuteness. For visibility image, BG/R combination of color and yellow background/blue dots were effective. For cuteness image, pale/grayish tone and background/dots area-ratio were effective.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of three clothing cues(jacket color, skirt color, and tone of dress) on female impressions. The experimental materials developed for this study are a set of stimuli and response scales. The Stimuli are If color pictures manipulated with three clothing cues by drawing. The 7-point scale designed for visual evaluation of female impression formation includes 24 bipolar adjectives. The subjects were 192 undergraduate female students in Jinju city. The results of this study are as follow: As analyzing the impression of female figure by the jacket color, skirt color, and tone, three factors including youth${\cdot}$activity, attractiveness, and visibility were identified. Among these factors, youth${\cdot}$activity and attractiveness were proved to be more important. Some interaction effects of clothing cues were found. Jacket color and tone had significant effects on the impression of visibility. The combination of skirt color and tone had significant effects on youth${\cdot}$activity, attractiveness, and visibility.
