1935년부터 55년까지 세계 대전에 휘말렸던 일본의 과학자들은 견디기 어려운 시련을 극복하고 전후에 2명의 노벨물리학 수상자를 배출했다. 1949년에 유가와 히데키가, 1965년엔 도모나가 신이치로가 그 주인공이다. 이처럼 가장 어려웠던 폐허 속에서도 일본이 이론물리학의 창조적 성과를 올린 배경은 무엇이었을까?

Recently, many interactive artworks produce through convergence of art and scientific technology. Artists or designers should cooperate with other areas for analysis in order to share database. According to these requirements, In this study, we analyze Kandinsky's works which are more emphasis on subject area than the emphasis to background area by using a number of colors, faces, and brightness levels. Due to this approach, it determines how to represent for stable screen composition attracting viewer's eyes. As a result, the subject area has more a number of colors, faces, and brightness levels than the background area. In addition, we produce the interactive artwork based on the analyzed data. According to the requirement of convergence and collaboration in the historical background, this study will be able to contribute to make the collaboration by sharing common information between artists and professionals in other areas. In addition, it is expected that other production makers who do not have the background of arts education will be able to configure the visual screen.

There has been a lot of research into a background separation method, which is a preprocess of a technique of automatically perceiving an invader, and the removal of shadows around a moving object in the video monitoring field. When a moving object is not clearly separated from its shadow, it is difficult to analyze the shape accurately, and it is also hard to trace its position. This study suggests how to utilize a brightness value for removing a shadow. It came from the fact that there appears to be no change of color in the shadow area relative to the background area, and there only occurs a difference in brightness. In addition, this method uses the renewal of a critical value used for the removal of shadow in the previous frame, in the next frame.

This study analyzed the perception of effectiveness and satisfaction according to learners' background variables and characteristics in online gifted education program. The participants included 630 middle and high school students who attended the 3-months online gifted program. Participants volunteerly surveyed on background and characteristics such as gender, grade, subjects, self-efficacy of internet, and self-regulated learning, and the effectiveness and satisfaction of the online gifted education program. T-test, ANOVA, and MANOVA were conducted to analyze the effect of students' background and characteristics on various dependent variables. The results of this study showed that (1) overall, participants perceived the effectiveness of the online gifted program positively; (2) participants perceived the satisfaction of the online gifted program positively. In specific, they perceived system satisfaction higher than interaction satisfaction. (3) the personal characteristics which impacted on both effectiveness and satisfaction were grade, self-efficacy of internet, and self-regulated learning. Suggestion for the online gifted education program were discussed.

Face detection is still a challenging task under severe face pose variations in complex background. This paper proposes an effective algorithm which can detect single or multiple faces based on skin color detection and depth information. We introduce Gaussian mixture model(GMM) for skin color detection in a color image. The depth information is from three dimensional depth sensor of Kinect V2 device, and is useful in segmenting a human body from the background. Then, a labeling process successfully removes non-face region using several features. Experimental results show that the proposed face detection algorithm can provide robust detection performance even under variable conditions and complex background.

제주도내 보건진료원의 업무분석 및 보건진료소 이용에 관한 사항을 분석하기 위하여 제주도내에 근무하는 보건진료원 43명을 대상으로 하여 본 조사를 실시하였다. 자료수집 기간은 1986년 10월 20일부터 11월 20일까지이며, 43명 중 37명의 설문지가 회수되었으며, 보건진료원의 분포, 업무배경, 의료자원, 이용주민수 및 업무수행 등을 분석한 결론은 다음과 같다.

본 연구는 최근 관광 트렌드로 부상하고 있는 '나홀로 여행족'이 나타나게 된 사회문화적 배경을 각종 문서자료를 통해 탐색해보고 개념을 살펴보고자 하였다. 그리고 본 연구에서는 나홀로 여행족의 사례를 여성 3명을 대상으로 나홀로 여행이 어떠한 속성을 지니고 있는지 밝히고 나홀로 여행이 가지고 있는 의미와 특성을 고찰하였다. 뿐만 아니라 최근 우리나라에 불고 있는 나홀로 여행족에 대한 열풍이 새로운 관광콘텐츠로서 지속성을 가질 수 있는지에 대해서도 검토하였다.

반도체 패키지의 마킹검사(marking inspection)를 위해서는 입력 영상으로부터 검사할 패키지의 정확만 위치 검출과 패키지 윗면에 나타난 제작사 로고, 문자, Pin1 딤플의 추출이 필수적이다. 본 연구는 마킹검사를 위한 선행 연구로 마킹검사를 수행할 때, 검사할 IC 패키지의 위치와 방향을 정확하게 검출하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. IC 패키지의 외곽을 구성하는 리드의 명도 값은 트레이의 명도 값과 큰 차이를 나타낸다. 그러나 IC 패키지의 방향을 나타내는 Pin1 딤플은 배경과 동일한 색상으로 다만 약간 오목하게 들어가서 명도 값의 차이가 미세하다. 이러한 두 가지 상이한 특징을 효과적으로 처리하기 위하여 적응적 다중 이진화 방법을 제시하였다. 76개의 명도 영상에 대한 실험 결과 제안된 이진화 방법은 매우 효과적이었으며, 이진화된 영상으로부터 IC 패키지의 정확한 위치 검출과 방향 확인이 가능하였다.

세포단위에서 혈관 생성과정 관찰 시 사용되는 광학현미경 영상은 광원의 특성으로 인해 부분적으로 영상이 밝거나 혹은 어둡게 나타난다. 이러한 현상은 혈관 영상에서의 혈관 분석을 어렵게 하므로 본 논문에서는 신 혈관 생성 영상에서 명도 불균형 문제를 해결하는 혈관 추출 및 정량화 기법을 제안한다. 불균형 명도 문제를 해결하기 위해 지역적 문턱치화 방법을 사용하고, 잡음 및 혈관 내 틈새 문제를 해결하기 위해 형태학적 연산 처리를 하였다. 그 결과 명도가 어두운 지역에서 배경 잡음이 없고, 영역이 끊어지지 않고 하나로 연결된 혈관을 추출할 수 있었다. 추출된 혈관 영역에서 골격화와 혈관 세그먼트에 기반하여 두께, 길이, 넓이를 정량화함으로써 혈관 분석 시 현미경에 탑재되어 있어 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 메타 모르프보다 정확한 정량화 결과를 얻었다.
