In order to analyse the color preference quantitatively, specially with reference to the subjects in the age of twenties, 100 subjects(M=50, F=50) that unconsidered other factors were adopted and responded to 4 items of the questionaire. The item no. 1 was to investigate the most prefered color on the white background, no. 2 was to most preferred stimulation -level of lightness in the same hues, no. 3 was to most prefered color on 5 different backgrounds -grey, blue, pink, yellow, and yellow green-, and no. 4 was same as no. 3 but with different color-arrangement Materials for item 1 and 3 were made with transparent acryl-boards(30cm$\times$30cm), on which 16 color chips arranged on circle, for item 4 on lattice, and for item 2 with 16 white boards(8cm$\times$21cm), on which 7 color chips of different lightness-level arranged. Reflectance(Y) and color coordinate(x, y) of all color chips measured with color difference meter were transfered into wavelength(nm), exitation purity(%), and Munsell's value. The results may be summarized as follows: 1) Most prefered color was bluish green with wave1ength about 500nm. As increasing of exitation purity of color, more prefered. 2) When there were 7 different levels of lightness in the same hues, the relationship between the number of preference and the stimulation was inverted U-shaped. 3) With changing the background -color, the prefered colors were contrasting when backgrounds were low or high intensity-stimulation and familiar colors when backgrounds were medium intensity.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare and evaluate the masking ability of three types of high translucent zirconia according to the various thicknesses and backgrounds. Materials and Methods: Using three types of high-translucency zirconia (Ceramill zolid fx white, Ceramill zolid ht+ white, Ceramill zolid ht+ preshade A2), 10 cylindrical specimens were fabricated in 10mm diameter and each with four thicknesses (0.6 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm), respectively by CAD/CAM method. The background was 10 mm in diameter and 10 mm in thickness. A1, A2, A3 flowable resin backgrounds, blue-colored core resin background, and Ni-Cr alloy background were prepared, and black, white backgrounds provided by the spectrophotometer manufacturer (x-rite, Koblach, Austria) were used. zirconia specimens and the background specimen were stacked to measure L, a^*, b^* with Spectrophotometer (Color i5, x-rite, Koblach, Austria) and the ΔE value with the other background is calculated. The Calculated mean ΔE values were compared based on perceptibility threshold 1.0 and acceptability threshold 3.7. Nonparametric tests such as Kruskal-Wallis test were performed to verify statistical significance (α = 0.05). Results: There was a significant difference in the mean ΔE value according to the zirconia type, background and thickness change (P = 0.000). Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the pre-colored high-translucent zirconia can obtain the desired zirconia shade when it is restored on teeth, composite resins, and abutments except for the blue resin core.

본 연구는 미국백인 고등학생들의 성별에 따른 직업소망을 가족배경변인과 시간제 취업경험을 중심으로 살펴보고 각 변인들이 남학생과 여학생에게 어떠한 영향을 끼치는가를 분석해보는데 의의가 있다 본연구는 미국 North Carolina주의 농촌지역에 위치한 고등학교 에 재학하고 있는 학생들중 시간제취업에 종사하고 있는 남학생 189명과 여학생 169명을 분 석대상으로 하였다. 가정배경변인과 시간제취어변인이 고등학생들의 직업소망에 어떠한 영 향을 미치는가에 대하여 경로모델을 제시하였고 모델을 사용하여 남학생과 여학생의 직업소 망에 영향을 미치는 정도를 검사하였다 남학생의 경우 아버지의 교육정도 어머니의 직업수 준 그리고 사회적 개방태도가 그들의 직업 소망에 영향을 미쳤으며 여학생의 경우에는 학업 성적만이 유일하게 직업소망에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 밝혀졌다.

눈에 띄는 인상적인 사진을 만들기 위해서는 명도와 색상 대비를 통해 주제를 강조하는 방법, 타이밍, 보조피사체 등을 이용한 다양한 방법들이 있다. 그 중 색상 대비란 조합된 색에 의해 주제가 시각적으로 두드러지게 나타나는 것을 말하면 명도 대비는 주변의 발기와 주제의 밝기가 대비를 이뤄 주제가 배경으로부터 돋보이도록 만드는 기법을 말한다. 특히 하나의 움직임 속에서 서로가 균형을 이루고 있는 단 하나의 순간을 찾아내는 타이밍 또한 인상적인 사진을 만드는 요건이다.

The compilers of science textbooks during the enlightenment period of Korea had been active in teaching and writing of science education. Thus a research on their social and educational backgrounds would help us to understand the historical process of the formation of Korean science education. In finding out their backgrounds, the official government resumes and the bulletins of an academic society were used. It was found that seven compilers of science textbooks, with their known resumes and bulletins, studied in Japan and another six studied in Korea. However, most students who studied in Japan with the support from Korean government returned to Korea and took an active part in education. In the first place, they had written the scientific articles in the bulletins. Then, they published school textbooks, including science textbooks. However, their roles in the science education replaced with the Japanese teachers with the lapse of time. Furthermore, since they were rather specialists in translation than in subject matters and studies applied sciences in technical colleges, they did little to foster science and could not form a firm basis for an independent internal structure of science education in Korea.

Accurately extracting skin color regions is very important in various areas such as face recognition and tracking, facial expression recognition, adult image identification, health-care, and so forth. In this paper, we evaluate the performances of several skin color detection algorithms in indoor environments by changing the distance between the camera and the object as well as the background colors of the object. The distance is from 60cm to 120cm and the background colors are white, black, orange, pink, and yellow, respectively. The algorithms that we use for the performance evaluation are Peer algorithm, NNYUV, NNHSV, LutYUV, and Kimset algorithm. The experimental results show that NNHSV, NNYUV and LutYUV algorithm are stable, but the other algorithms are somewhat sensitive to the changes of backgrounds. As a result, we expect that the comparative experimental results of this paper will be used very effectively when developing a new skin color extraction algorithm which are very robust to dynamic real environments.

본 연구의 목적은 웹페이지 배경과 브랜드가 소비자의 감정과 점포이미지에 미치는 영향을 조사하는데 있으며, 또한 소비자의 감정과 점포이미지가 소비자 행동의도에 미치는 영향을 조사하는데 있다. 본 연구는 가상의 웹싸이트를 활용하여 2 (웹페이지 배경: 유 vs. 무) $\times$ 2 (브랜드: 인지도 고 vs. 저) 집단간 실험설계를 하였다. 382명의 응답이 가설검증을 위한 연구결과 분석에 사용되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 웹페이지 배경이 소비자의 긍정적 감정과 점포이미지에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 브랜드의 경우 인지도가 점포이미지에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 구조방정식 모형의 유의미한 결과를 살펴보면, 긍정적 감정이 점포이미지에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 점포이미지가 소비자 행동에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이론적 측면에서 온라인 환경에 대한 연구분야에 공헌하였으며, 마케팅적 시사점을 제시하였다.

In this paper, we propose an algorithm to extract the E-mail address in calling card images. Firstly, text regions are separated from background. in the image. To do this, the properties of e-mail addresses and the texture features in the image is used. And then, each text region is explored to find the candidates of e-mail region. Finally, each candidate is divided into characters to find at-symbol(@), that is, e-mail region. The experimental results show hit-ratio over 93.3％ for the various kind of calling cards containing different fonts, background images, caricatures.
