리튬 2차전지 anode용 탄소재료 구조의 방전용량에 대한 영향

  • The hydrocarbons containing more than 10 carbons(0.1% of total volume, C10+), residue of aromatization from aliphatic hydrocarbons, were condensated in the presence of catalyst aluminumchloride and cocatalyst nitrobenzene(NB) to be pitchs with desirable properties. The properties of pitch were affected by the concentration of cocatalyst chosen 20 and 30wt.%. The pitch with 30wt.% NB showed higher carbon yield and lower crystallinity than that with 20wt.% NB. The two pitches were heat treated at 1000C and measured of charge/discharge capacity of the carbon as an anode. The carbon prepared at 20wt.% NB exhibited excellent cyclic stability with a capacity of 218mAh/.g and that at 30wt.% exhibited rather low cyclic stability with higher capacity of 235mAh/g.

Prediction and Measurement of Flash Point and Fire Point of Aromatic Hydrocarbons (방향족탄화수소의 인화점과 연소점 측정 및 예측)

  • The flash points and the fire points are one of the most important combustible properties used to determine the potential for the fire and explosion hazards of flammable substances. In this study, the flash points of aromatic hydrocarbons, were measured by using Pensky-Martens Closed Cup apparatus(ASTM-D93) and Tag Open-Cup apparatus(ASTM D 1310-86). Also the fire points of aromatic hydrocarbons, were measured by using Tag Open-Cup apparatus. The measured flash points were in good agreement with reference values. The measured fire points compared with the estimated values based on 1.23 times stoichiometric concentration. The values calculated by the proposed equation were in agreement with measured values.

  • 수백여 종의 개별물질이 불완전 연소 혹은 유기물의 열분해로 인해 발생되는 다환방향족 탄화수소(PAHs)는 환경에서 중요한 오염원이 되고 있다. 본 연구는 다양한 바이오마커를 이용하여 수서생태계에 벤조피렌(benzo[a]pyrene)과 같은 다환방향족 탄화수소의 영향을 분석하였고, 이에 대한 통합적 결과 모델을 도출하였다. 즉, 잉어(Cyprinus carpio)를 이용하여 여러 농도의 벤조피렌(3, 12, $34{\mu}g/L$, 측정농도 기준)에 10일간 노출시킨 다음, DNA single-strand break, ethoxyresorufin-O-deethylase (EROD), acetylcholine esterase (AChE)와 vitellogenin (VTG)의 농도를 측정하였다. 벤조피렌은 잉어의 DNA 손상을 유도하였고, 낮은 농도에서 EROD와 VTC의 유의적인 활성을 보였으나, 신경전달물질과 관련이 깊은 AChE 효소활성에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이 결과를 star plot를 이용하여 통합 및 분석하였으며, 노출농도에 따른 통합 반응지수(integrated biomarker response value: IBR)로 나타내었다. 이런 다양한 바이오마커의 결과들은 벤조피렌에 대한 어류의 영향과 수생태 모니터링 자료로 이용 가능할 것으로 여겨지며, 통합반응지수는 생태위해성평가에서 유용한 도구로 쓰일 가치가 있는 것으로 평가된다.

Effects of Particle Size and Characteristics on the Gas-particle Partitioning of PAHs in the Air (대기중 입자의 크기와 특성이 다환방향족탄화수소류 화합물의 증기상-입자상간의 분배에 미치는 영향)

  • 다환방향족탄화수소류 화합물의 증기상-입자상간의 분배평형의 설명을 위해 흔히 입자상의 흡착지점이 균질하고 총흡착면적은 TSP에 비례한다는 가정을 사용하는데 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 가정의 타당성을 평가하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 도심에서 6단의 다단계 대기중입자채집기를 사용하여 대기 중의 입자를 포집하였으며 이들 입자에 흡착된 phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene을 분석하여 입경별 분포를 측정하였다. 특히 연구기간 중에 황사현상이 일어나 입경분포나 입자의 기원이 매우 다른 경우에 대한 연구가 가능하였다. 주요연구결과로서 우선 야마사키가 제안한 분배평형의 온도 의존식은 제한된 범위에서 사용되어야 한다는 것이 관측되었다. 즉, 황사현상이 일어나는 경우와 같이 입자의 흡착특성과 입경분포가 보통때와 다른 경우에는 log Kp와 l/T의 관계에서 선형성이 상당히 저하되었다. 또한 특히 낮은 온도에서는 입자의 입경분포가 달라지면 전체적인 분배평형이 달라지게 되는 것으로 평가되었으며 입자의 흡착특성도 분배평형의 온도의존성에 결정적인 영향을 줄 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 입자의 기원이 다양하거나 입경분포가 달라지면 흡착평형이 바뀌기 때문에 흡착특성의 균질성과 단순한 TSP를 전제로 하는 분배평형의 평가나 예측은 실제 대기조건에서는 정확하지 않을 수가 있으며 제한적인 조건에서 사용되어야 할 것이다.

  • The formation of $C_2-C_{10}$ hydrocarbons from methanol over shape-selective ZSM-5 zeolite catalysts is studied. It seems that $C_2-C_5$ olefins formed from methanol via dimethylether are transformed further to higher hydrocarbons containing higher concentration of aromatics by the acid sites of ZSM-5. Unique cross linked channel structure and its hydrophobicity seems to be mainly responsible for its high activity of ZSM-5 catalyst for the conversion of methanol.

Volatile Flavor Compounds in Omandungi (Styela plicata)-Doenjang (Soybean paste) Soups and stew by Cooking (가열조리한 오만둥이된장찌개의 휘발성 향기성분)

  • For useful basic data in developing of Omandungi (Styela plicata) processed products, volatile flavor compounds were analyzed to identify the key reaction flavor compounds induced through heat treatment ($100^{\circ}C$, 10 min) in Omandungi -Doenjang (soybean paste) soups and stew. A total of 128 flavor compounds were identified and composed mainly of esters (16), aromatic compounds (14), N-containing compounds (11), alcohols (34), terpenes (5), carbonyl compounds (23), furans (4), hydrocarbons (13), acids (5) and miscellaneous compounds (3). Three groups including aromatic compounds, alcohols and acids were detected in high amounts in Doenjang. However, the levels of C4-C6 series acids (i.e., pentanoic acid having off-flavor) decreased by cooking ($100^{\circ}C$, 10 min), whereas that of furans (i.e., furfural) as heat induced compounds increased 2 times. Alcohols were detected the major group in Omandungi and followed by hydrocarbons and aromatic compounds in that order. In particular, 3 compounds including decenol, 2,6-dimethylheptanol and octanol were the major alcohols of Omandungi. By cooking, the compounds known heat-induced compound, 2-acetyl-2-thiazoline and benzothiazole, were newly formed in Omandungi-Doenjang stew. The alcohols (i.e., decenol, 2,6-dimethylheptanol), hydrocarbons and aromatic compounds derived from Omandungi were supposed to enhance a seafood-like flavor in Omandungi-Doenjang stew.

Distributions and Sources of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in the Tidal Flat Sediments from Incheon Coastal Area (인천연안 갯벌의 다환방향족탄화수소의 농도분포와 발생원 평가)

  • Samples for estimating concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocargons(PAHs), total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPHs), and benzene-toluene-ethylbenzene-xylene(BTEX) were collected at the tidal flat sediments of 8 coastal sites in Incheon, at seventy-two sampling stations for the surface sediment and twenty-four stations for the sediment core, twice in the spring and fall in 2011. This study was performed to evaluate the distributions of seasonal and spatial concentrations of PAHs, TPHs, and BTEX in the tidal flat sediments. The source origin of PAHs were carried out. The total average concentration of PAHs in the tidal flat sediment was $95.62{\mu}g/kg$. The characteristic of PAHs concentration distributions was observed that the average concentration in the autumn was lower than that in the spring, and higher concentration in the sediment core than the surface sediment, and greater vertical concentration at the top rather than the bottom in the sediment core. The total average concentration of TPHs at all sampling sites was in the value of 46 mg/kg. The characteristic of the TPHs concentration distribution was observed that the average concentration in the fall was much higher than that in the spring, and higher concentration in the surface sediment than the sediment core. The possible source of PAHs inputs were mainly derived from both pyrogenic and petrogenic origin at the surface sediment at Janghwari site and the sediment cores of both Sorae and Okyeon sites, while the rest sites of study areas originated with pyrogenic combustion.

Refining of Vacuum Residues by Aquathermolysis Reaction (Aquathermolysis 반응에 의한 감압잔사유의 개질)

  • In this study, the reforming reaction of vacuum residue (VR) was carried out using aquathermolysis reaction. VR showed a prone to decrease the amount of resins and asphaltenes in the constituents, and to increase saturates and aromatics when reacting with steam at 30 bar and above $300^{\circ}C$ for 24 h. This tendency became more evident when the amount of steam used was excessive than the amount of VR. When the aquathermolysis reaction was performed at $300^{\circ}C$ and 30 bar for 48 h, the VR composition was changed from the initial state (S/A/R/A = 7.3%/43.7%/25.6%/23.5%) to final state (S/A/R/A = 6.8%/57%/12.2%/24.0%), and the contents of the resins decreased by 13% and the aromatic compounds increased by 13%. The viscosity decreased from 880,000 cp to 290,000 cp by 68%. When 10% of decalin, which is easy to provide hydrogen, was added, the viscosity decreased by 68% in 24 h. The VR composition showed a reduction in the contents of resins and asphaltenes from 49% to 17% from the initial state (S/A/R/A = 7.3%/43.7%/25.6%/23.5%) to the final state (S/A/R/A = 4.5%/63.5%/12.5%/20.0%), and the content of aromatics was maximized to 63.5%. The gas layer formed by the aquathermolysis reaction in the reactor chamber was collected and analyzed by GC-MS spectroscopy. As a result, various hydrocarbon compounds such as ethylbenzene, octane and dimethylbenzene were detected.
