A Study on the Development of Functional Health Shoe (기능성 건강구두의 개발에 대한 연구)

  • Foot has two functions : one is walking (or propulsion), the other is supporting or protecting of human body. In spite of such important roles, the importance of foot in keeping health has been easily disregarded. The bottom of foot is usually regarded as the second heart, for it is the pocket edition of all the principal parts of human body. Shoe is one of the tools to protect foot, and to wear a good shoe is the most demanded point in keeping health, Shoe can be different in kinds and shapes according to each one's usage. That is, different conditions of different people should have the different results in the material, design, last, pattern and structure in manufacturing shoe. A good shoe is absolutely a shoe with its right suitability, elasticity and adaptability. To make this healthy shoe, it is needed to design in the way of human technology, and the relative and scientific materials are basically required in manufacturing it. Recently there is an increasing demand for milti-functional shoe that can improve the efficiency of work in parallel with the maintenance of health. Accordingly this paper put its main purpose on the development of a healthy shoe based on proper and right theory and test.

Therapeutic Effect of Low Level Laser Therapy on the Trigger Points (발통점에 대한 저출력 레이저의 치료효과)

  • 구강안면통증환자에서 저출력 레이저의 임상 효과는 많은 임상가에 의해 연구되었으나 그 결과에 대해서는 아직도 논란중이다. 이에 본 연구는 두 가지 방법으로 시행하여 구강안면부위의 발통점에 대한 저출력 레이저의 효과를 평가하였다. 첫 번째 방법은 저작근 중 교근, 측두근과 경부근육 중 승모근에 발통점을 가진 부산대학교 치과대학생 69명중 37명은 레이저 조사군, 32명은 레이저 모의 조사군으로 무작위로 분류하여 저출력 레이저의 치료효과를 평가하였다. 둘째 방법으로 동일 근육에 발통점이 있는 19명의 환자와 발통점이 전혀 없는 20명의 정상인을 무작위로 환자군과 정상 대조군으로 분류하고, 각 군을 다시 레이저 조사군과 모의 조사군으로 나누어 실제 저출력 레이저의 치료효과와 위약효과를 평가하였다. 50mW, 820nm의 GaAlAs 반도체 레이저를 이용하여 4주 동안 첫 주는 2회, 이후 3주 동안 각 1회씩 총 5회를 조사하였고, 레이저 모의 조사군에서도 동일한 방법으로 시행하였다. 치료반응은 전자통각계를 이용하여 압력통각역치를 치료 전, 치료 2주 및 4주에 측정하여 이를 비교한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 레이저 조사군의 각 근육에서 측정한 압력통각역치는 치료 2주 후부터 유의하게 높아졌으며(P<0.05), 모의 조사군과의 차이는 이후 점점 더 증가하였다(P<0.001). 모의 조사군에서는 압력통각역치의 유의한 변화가 없었다. 2. 레이저 조사-환자군에서 측정한 압력통각역치는 레이저 모의조사-환자군의 압력통각역치보다 그 증가폭이 더 크게 나타났다(P<0.05). 정상 대조군은 레이저 조사와 관계없이 압력통각역치에 유의성이 없었다. 3. 약간의 위약 반응이 레이저 모의조사 환자군과 정상 대조군에서 관찰되나, 레이저 조사 환자군의 실제 레이저 치료효과가 위약 반응보다 우세하였다.

Effects of Gastrocnemius Muscle Length on the Dynamic Balance and Antero-posterior Pressure Distribution of Foot (장딴지근 길이가 동적 균형 및 발바닥의 앞뒤 압력 분포에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was investigate the effect of gastrocnemius(GCM) muscle length on the dynamic balance and antero-posterior pressure distribution of foot. Thirty subjects were recruited and each subject was classified with control experimental and control group according to GCM muscle length. The experimental group included subjects with shortness of GCM muscle length, the control group included subjects with normal length of GCM. The dynamic balance and antero-posterior pressure distribution of foot were measured by Biorescue equipment. To evaluate dynamic balance, we collected data of limit of stability in antero-posterior direction. We analyzed the data by using independent t-test. The alpha level was set 0.05. The results showed that the dynamic balance and antero-posterior pressure distribution of foot were significantly different between two groups (p<0.05). This study suggests that the shortness of GCM affects anterior limited of stability in dynamic balance and anterior pressure distribution of foot. Therefore, it is important to maintain optimal GCM muscle length for normal balance ability and prevention of musculoskeletal disease.

Intra- and Inter-rater Reliability of BioRescue (BioRescue의 측정자내와 측정자간 신뢰도)

  • BioRescue ($RMIng{\acute{e}}nierie$, Marseille, France) is able to assess dynamic and static balance when a test subject stands or sits over the platform. Although previous studies have examined the reliability of other balance measurement methods, little research has been conducted on the reliability of equipment such as BioRescue. This study examined the intra-rater and inter-rater reliability of BioRescue during balance assessment. Thirty-four healthy adults participated as subjects and two physical therapists participated as examiners to determine intra- and inter-rater reliability. BioRescue was used to conduct measurements during footprint (area and pressure), Romberg, and limit of stability tests. The footprint area and limit of stability tests yielded intra- and inter-rater reliability ICC values above 0.60 in all directions. However, the footprint pressure and Romberg tests yielded values below 0.60 in all directions. BioRescue showed good inter-rater and intra-rater reliability in measurements during footprint area and limit of stability tests. However, because the values of limits of stability show the difference between experienced and unskilled, skill is required for the accuracy of the equipment.

  • Diabetes is a common disease today, and there are also many cases of developing into serious complications called Diabetic Foot Ulcers(DFU). Diagnosis and prevention of DFU in advance is an important task, and this paper proposes the method. Based on existing studies introduced in the paper, it can be seen that foot pressure and temperature information are deeply correlated with DFU. Introduce the process and architecture of SmarTinsole, an IoT device that measures these indicators. Also, the paper describes the preprocessing process for AI-based diagnosis of DFU. Through the comparison of the measured pressure graph and the actual human step distribution, it presents the results that multiple information collected in real-time from SmarTinsole are more efficient and reliable than the previous study.

  • The effect of low-dye taping technique applied to flexible flat-footed adolescents on mSEBT and Standing long jump in place was investigated. The subjects of this study were 35 youths with flexible flat feet, 17 people with elastic tape and 17 people with non-elastic tape, and the low-dye taping technique was applied. The data analysis of this study used t-test to compare before and after the application of group intervention, and between each group. As a result of the study, significant results were found before and after the application of the intervention in mSEBT and Standing long jump in place (p<.05), and there was no significant difference in comparison between groups (p>.05). In conclusion, the low-dye taping technique applied to adolescents with flexible flat feet is effective for mSEBT and Standing long jump in place, and low-dye taping is appropriate as an intervention method to see the immediate effect of raising the inner longitudinal bow.

Deep Learning-based Pes Planus Classification Model Using Transfer Learning

  • This study proposes a deep learning-based flat foot classification methodology using transfer learning. We used a transfer learning with VGG16 pre-trained model and a data augmentation technique to generate a model with high predictive accuracy from a total of 176 image data consisting of 88 flat feet and 88 normal feet. To evaluate the performance of the proposed model, we performed an experiment comparing the prediction accuracy of the basic CNN-based model and the prediction model derived through the proposed methodology. In the case of the basic CNN model, the training accuracy was 77.27%, the validation accuracy was 61.36%, and the test accuracy was 59.09%. Meanwhile, in the case of our proposed model, the training accuracy was 94.32%, the validation accuracy was 86.36%, and the test accuracy was 84.09%, indicating that the accuracy of our model was significantly higher than that of the basic CNN model.

Simulation of Time-Delay Based Path-Tracking Control of Reusable Launch Vehicle (시간지연기법을 적용한 재사용발사체 유도제어 시뮬레이션)

  • This paper deals with a study for the guidance control of reusable launch vehicle. For this purpose, modeling of the equation of motion of a reusable launch vehicle with 6 degrees of freedom was performed. With this model, an optimal re-entry path was created and a path-following guidance control simulation was performed to follow the optimal re-entry path. For the design of the path-following guidance controller, the attitude controller applying a time-delay technique that is resistant to modeling uncertainty, disturbance and failure. And the nonlinear path-following guidance law were used. Guidance control simulation using a classical PD controller was performed and compared with the guidance control simulation of a reusable launch vehicle applying a time delay technique.

The Effects of Knee Brace on Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries Risk Factors During One-Legged Landing of Female Gymnasts (여자 체조선수들의 한 발 드롭 착지 시 무릎보호대가 전방십자인대 부상 위험요인에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of knee brace on anterior cruciate ligament injuries risk factors during one-legged landing of female gymnasts. Eleven female gymnasts were recruited and performed randomly one-legged drop landing in height of her's knee with (3times) and without (3times) knee brace. Kinematics and ground reaction data were collected to estimate the anterior cruciate ligament injuries risk factors. Data were analyzed with paired samples t-test. Female gymnasts with knee brace showed more reduced the distance from ankle joint center to knee joint center in sagittal plane and knee maximum joint torque than without knee brace. In conclusion, Female gymnasts with knee brace reduced anterior cruciate ligament stress.

L1210 및 K562 세포에 대한 노루발의 세포독성 성분

  • 연구목적: 생약으로 부터 항암제 개발연구의 일환으로 민간에서 조경. 지혈 등에 사용되고있는 노루발(Pyrola japonica)의 세포독성 물질과 그의 화학적구조를 규명하기 위해서 본 연구를 실시하였다. 실험 방법 : 옴건한 노루발의 지하부를 methanol로 환류 추출하여 얻은 methanol extract를 n-hexane, ethylacetate, n-butanol 순으로 분획하였다. 그 후 각각의 분획을 L1210 세포에 대하여 in vitro에서 실험한 결과 n-heane, ethylacetate 분획에서 강한 활성이 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 n-hexane, ethylacetate 분획을 반복하여 silica gel column chromatography 하여 1종의 활성물질과 4종의 비활성물질을 단리하였다. 실험결과 : 단리된 활성물질은 각종 spectral data를 검토하여 chimaphilin (L1210의 ED$_{50}$ : 0.6 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml, K562의 ED$_{50}$ :< 0.6 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml) 임을 확인하였고 이 물질은 5,8-dihydro-2.7-dimethyl-4-naphtoquione의 변성물질 임을 알 수 있었다.있었다.
