Noise Reduction using Passive and Active Noise Control in the Closed Area (수동과 능동방식을 혼용한 폐공간에서 소음감쇠)

  • Passive noise reduction is a classical approach to attenuate industrial noise, and an active noise cancellation has several advantages over the passive noise cancellation. The active noise reduction system offers a better low frequency performance with a smaller and lighter system. This paper presents a simple active closed loop control system which consists of an controller for inverting and compensating the phase delay, a microphone for picking up the external noise, and a loudspeaker for radiating the acoustic out of phase signal to reduce the external noise, and external noise can be reduced after compensating the phase difference to be $180^{\circ}$ in the frequency of maximum value in the amplitude response. The noise of the phase delay covered from $50^{\circ}\;to\;310^{\circ}$ tends to be reduced in the active noise control system and it is possible to obtain a noise cancelling of up to approximately 20[dB] at the ears in the enclosurer.

Contrast Improvement in Diagnostic Ultrasound Strain Imaging Using Globally Uniform Stretching (진단용 초음파 변형률 영상에서 전역 균일 신장에 의한 콘트라스트 향상)

  • In conventional diagnostic ultrasound strain imaging, when displaying strain image on a monitor, human visual characteristics are utilized such that hard regions are displayed as dark and soft regions are displayed as bright. Thus, hard regions representing tumor or cancer are displayed as dark, decreasing the contrast inside the lesion. Because the lesion area is stiff and thus displayed as dark, a method of inverting the image brightness and thereby increasing the contrast in the lesion for better diagnostic purposes is proposed wherein a postcompression signal is extended in the time domain by a factor corresponding to the reciprocal of the amount of the applied compression using a technique termed globally uniform stretching. Experiments were carried out to verify the proposed method on an ultrasound elasticity phantom with radio-frequency data acquired from a diagnostic ultrasound clinical scanner. It is found that the new method improves the contrast-to-noise ratio by a factor of up to about 1.8 compared to a conventional strain imaging method that employs a reversed gray color map without globally uniform stretching.

  • $[P+a(b/v)^n]$ = RT / (V - b) Above equation of state had been derived from Roulette theory. Three parameters-a, b, n are estimated from the critical point and the inversion temperature. When it is applied to 52 materials and to the regions of high density such as dense gas and supercritical gas, the results are good.

  • Stupa of State Preceptor Jigwang at Beopcheonsa temple site, Wonju, was conserved and restored in 1957. It was necessary to assess the degree of damage to the used mortar and to provide objective data on the necessity of its removal. Therefore, the HCP(half-cell potential) measurement used in concrete fields was applied. Multi-regression analysis of HCP data, following the rapid corrosion test of the roofstone mortar used by the rebar, resulted in a high correlation of HCP values(0.86), depending on the amount of corrosion and cover depth used for the steel bar. As a result, high correlation values(0.86) for the coefficients of determination were derived. The showed that the measurement of the wet conditions -431 to -663 mV on the roofstone indicated a corrosion damage rate of 90% or more after removal and restoration.

  • Urban air mobility (UAM) equipped with rotor system is subject to ground effect at vertiport during takeoff and landing. The aerodynamic performance of the aircraft in ground effect should be analyzed for the safe operation. In this study, The ground effects on the aerodynamic performance and wake structure of the quadcopter electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) configuration equipped with coaxial counter-rotating propellers were investigated by using the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM). The influence of the ground effect was observed differently in the upper and lower propellers of the coaxial counter-rotating propeller system. There was no significant change in the aerodynamic performance of the upper propeller even if the propeller height above the ground was changed, whereas the averaged thrust and torque of the lower propeller increased significantly as propeller height decreased. In addition, the amplitude of the thrust fluctuation tended to increase as the propeller height decreased. The propeller wake was not sufficiently propagated downstream and was diffused along the ground due to the outwash flow developed by the ground effect. The impingement of the rotor wakes on the ground and a fountain vortex structure were observed.

  • 본 논문에서는 10N March 테스트 알고리즘에 기반한 내장된 이중 포트 메모리를 위한 효율적인 테스트 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 각각의 포트에 대해 독립적으로 테스트 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 각각의 포트에 대해서 단일 포트 메모리 테스트 알고리즘을 적용하는 방법에 비해 시간 복잡도를 20N에서 8.5N으로 시간 복잡도를 줄였다. 그리고 제안된 알고리즘은 주소 디코더 고장, 고착 고장, 천이 고장, 반전 결합 고장, 동행 결합 고장을 모두 검출할 수 있다.

  • Conventional buck-boost converter has the disadvantage that the output voltage is inverted. The single phase non-inverting buck-boost converter(SPNIBBC) used four swithes has H-bridge type Circuit. The output voltage is not inverted. The SPNIBBC can be controlled by the single carrier method and the dual carrier method according to the modulation method. In this paper, we have fabricated the converter and compared the efficiency according to the modulation method.

  • The photoluminescened experiments at temperature of 10K were carride out for ZnSe epilayers grown by hot-wall epitaxy. The upper and lower polariton peaks of the neutral dound exciton $I_2$($D^{\circ}$,X) for as-grown epilayer have been dominantly observed.For the heat-treatment under Se ambient,the origin of $I_2$ emission is confirmed to be related to Se-vacancy.The extra neutral acceptor bound exciton $I_1$$^d$ is also observed.The ZnSe epilayer shows the self-compensation effect and it is hard to be converted into p-type ZnSe epilayer.However,the photoluminescence spectrum of the annealed sample in Se ambient shows the intense $I_1$$^d$ emission.This indicates that in the annealed ZnSe epilayer,there are many acceptor levels due to the opical p-type converstion. The binding energy of acceptor-impurity is ecaluated to the value of 268meV and the self-activated emission is disappeared by thermal annealing under Se ambient,which indicates the association with Se-vacancy.

  • The noise of image is added by many environmental factors. Therefore, we need to remove these noises using the conventional filtering methods, which are optimized based on the statistical characteristic of noise. In direct restoration method, there is an inverse filter and the wiener filter. Here, the wiener filter is the optimized filter in the view of least square method. First, we are going to study the inverse filter, wiener filter, constraint least square filter. Second, in order to control the quantity, we use the parameters instead of the power spectrum ratio. But, these parameters have the conflicting condition, therefore, we optimized the variables using parametric wiener filter which adjust the application appropriately. In the simulation results, the contrast of the degraded image was enhanced and the noise was removed. Comparative experimentation was demonstrated edge preserving and noise removing property.
