보안이 중요시 되는 공간에서 지능형 감시 시스템의 필요성이 점차 중요시 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 embedded Linux 기반의 Mobile Robot에 Network Camera를 탑재 하여 침입자를 추적할 수 있는 시스템 구현에 목적을 두고 있다. Network Camera부터 Wireless Lan을 이용하여 서버로 영상을 전송하고, 서버에서 블록매칭 알고리즘을 이용하여 침입자의 이동경로를 파악하며 침입자에 대한 방향 정보를 전송하여 침입자를 추적한다. 로봇이 침입자를 추적함에 따라 침입자의 유효 영상을 얻는다. 본 논문에 의해서 구현된 시스템은 다른 감시 시스템과 연동하여 지능형 감시 시스템으로서 신뢰성을 더할 수 있다.

Most of Electroencephalography(EEG) systems currently being used in hospitals don't support a standardized communication protocol for the exchange of orders, data and results. ASTM: E1467 protocol was proposed to expedite the EEG data exchange between different EEG systems and eventually between hospitals. In this paper, we present an Electroencephalography Information System using ASTM: E1467 protocol, with which patient registration, orders, interpretation, and review can be performed electronically. The system is designed using a component-based methodology. Most of the components are written in Visual C++ and Visual Basic. JAVA is also used to implement some components.

At the early stages of engineering design, a number of design concepts may be suggested. With a great degree of freedom, making a good choice may be a challenge at this stage. In this study, a simplified evaluation criterion for design concepts is presented based on cost, simplicity and safety. Cost is estimated by the amount of materials and the required level of tolerance. Simplicity is represented by the number of parts, assembly steps, and fasteners. Safety is assessed by the level of potential failure. The proposed criterion is applied to an example design of driving mechanisms for cervical vertebrae massage machine.

The hemolytic uremic syndrome(HUS), a heterogenous group of disorders characterized by micorangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and azotemia, is the most frequent cause of acute renal failure in children. The association of the HUS with E. coli O157 : H7 has been well-described, but the other intestinal infection have been relatively less reported to date. We report a 18-month-old boy presenting with typical clinical characteristics of HUS associated with amoebic dysentery with a brief review of literatures.

This study was designed to observe the effects of T-2 toxin on total cholesterol and lipid concentration in rat serum. T-2 toxin is a secondary metabolite produced by Fusarium sp. which is often found on agricultural products including cereals, and it is a causal material of liver injuries in cattle and humans. When we fed rats with standard diet treated with T-2 toxin, the body weight and feed consumption of rats treated T-2 toxin were decreased. As the results of lipid analysis, the concentrations of total cholesterol and free cholesterol in serum of treated rats were increased compared to non-fed control group, On the other hand, the levels of triglyceride and phospholipid in the serum of T-2 toxin treated experimental groups were declined. In conclusion, T-2 toxin largely influenced on the total cholesterol and lipid levels in rat serum.

As a digital map is tile based of 2D, it is difficult to be satisfied with accuracy and up-to-date. In this study, we analyzed requirements of an object-oriented continuous digital map and designed the system. The digital map is 3D continuous object and has the accuracy and up-to-date, and designs with management system, transfer system, change information management system, frequent updating system and, same time updating system.

A digital map is provided with 2 dimensions of tile based, a user is hard for decision-marking directly. In this study, we analyzed the present situation and characteristics of a digital map about a developed nation such as United States, England, Canada. As a result, American National Map and British Master Map are keeping continuity and up-to-date, included UFID, ISO, OGC referred to an international standard, and a digital map was made.

본 논문에서는 실제 수중 환경에서 선박 또는 잠수함으로부터 발생하는 인위적인 천이신호와 돌고래, 새우 등의 해양 생물로부터 발생하는 천이신호들을 식별하기 위한 특징벡터 추출 기법을 제안하였다. MFCC와 엔트로피 기반의 웨이블릿 패킷 기법을 이용하여 특징을 추출하고, 이 두 특징들을 동시에 적용하여 수중 천이신호를 식별하고자 한다. 기존의 방법인 MFCC와 웨이블릿 패킷 기법과 이 두 방법을 동시에 적용했을 때의 식별률을 비교하였고, 전방향 신경회로망(feed-forward neural network)을 그 특징벡터의 성능을 평가하기 위한 식별기로 사용하였다.

This paper describes the problem of existing maintenance system for mail sorting machnies, and presents to-be considerations of maintenance system based on AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis with efficiency and economic aspects. There are standard procedure for diagnosis and repair of mail sorting machine as preventive and operational maintenance, roles and missions of maintenance technical support center for upgrade of maintenance skill in this paper. The proposed maintenance system will be adapted for more safety and efficiency maintenance of mail sorting machine.

유무선 통신기술의 발달로 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스의 이용이 증가함에 따라 비디오 스트리밍 기법에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 끊김 없는 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 네트워크의 상태와 클라이언트의 버퍼 상태를 고려한 전송률 조절 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 네트워크의 상태와 클라이언트의 버퍼 상태를 기반으로 전송 비디오의 프레임 수를 우선순위에 따라 차등적으로 폐기함으로써 전송률을 조절한다. 제안 기법을 적용한 스트리밍 시스템을 구현하고 실험을 통해 끊김 없는 비디오의 전송을 확인할 수 있었다.
