As digital technologies have strongly impacted the whole social aspects, so museum recently emerging as an alternative or supplementary learning environment to school, after active adoption to the technologies, gave birth to museum websites called 'Virtual Museums' which, then, result in enhancing the educational roles and functions of physical museum. In this context, this study aimed to review the process of how virtual museum has been developed in terms of its educational roles and characteristics in accordance with the evolutionary development of web. Especially, the analysis of the status quo of the current virtual museums in both Korea and overseas presented specific aspects of the educational elements and roles embedded in virtual museum which have been emphasized in many related research and studies. The categories of the roles of the virtual museum, as a result, were classified into 'digital archive,' 'learning resources,' and 'communigy,' each of which were, then, further elaborated for its individual educational uses. Eventually this study purposed to expand the public awareness and knowledge of virtual museum as the alternative online learning environments needed in the 21st century.

본 논문에서 구현한 경량단말을 활용한 이종 박물관 관람 환경별 최적의 적응적 관광 서비스 제공 모듈은 서로 다른 박물관을 관람하는 상황에 맞춰 그 관람객에게 가장 적합한 서비스를 제공을 해주는 모듈이다. 종래의 박물관 관람 형태는 사용자가 박물관에서 나누어준 하드카피 형태의 팜플렛 또는 가이드 안내에만 의존한 관람 형태이고, 주제별 아이템에 관한 상세 정보도 현장에 배치된 안내물을 보던가, 박물관에서 대여형태로 제공하는 오디오 장비만을 활용 하는 수준이며, 특히나 제한된 시간내에 대형 박물관을 관람해야 하는 경우 자신이 관심있는 것만 볼 수 없는 환경이다. 본 논문에서 소개될 이 모듈은 가상화 기술과 경량 단말을 활용하여 대형 박물관 또는 미술관등을 방문한 관람객에게 본인에게 맞는 최적의 관람 서비스를 제공한다. 좀더 자세하게는 대형 박물관에서 이 모듈이 사용되는 경우 넓은 공간에 무수히 많은 작품들이 전시되어 있는 상황에서 가용한 관광시간에 본인이 보고자 하는 것들만 추천받아볼 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있고, 최소한의 원가를 들여서 제작된 경량 스마트 단말을 통하여 해당 작품에 대해 상세한 부가 정보를 제공받아 박물관의 관람효과를 극대화 할 수 있도록 도와준다.

유비쿼터스환경에서 뮤지엄을 인류의 지식을 담은 보고로 볼 때, 앞으로 미래박물관의 서비스는 관람자에게 제공되는 관람 인터페이스의 질에 좌우될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 Storytelling Digital Museum의 개념으로 가상박물관과 실제박물관의 결합된 상태에서 관람자와 박물관 학예사 사이에 매개 역할을 하는 대리인-Avatar를 내장한 전시미디어의 개발방안을 연구하고 이것이 활용될 수 있는 환경을 구축하기 위한 방안으로 현존하는 요소기술 제시와 함께 이러한 요소기술을 어떻게 조합해서 만들어낼 것인가 하는 개념을 제시할 것이다. IT서비스환경에서 새로운 방식의 Virtual Museum을 제시할 것이다.

조명기술의 발전에 따라 현대의 박물관에서는 조명에 의한 다양한 연출 효과를 얻기 위해 같은 전시공간 내에서도 여러 종류의 광원들을 사용한다. 이는 역으로 각각의 유물들이 다양한 환경의 빛에 노출되어 전시되고 있다는 것을 말해준다. 유물의 전시를 위한 최적의 조명환경 조건과 보존을 위한 최적의 조명환경 조건이 서로 다른 측면이 있다. 본 연구에서는 신 국립중앙박물관의 전시실 및 진열장에 조사되는 광복사량, 복사분포 등을 측정하였으며, 측정 데이터를 바탕으로 국립중앙박물관의 조명환경을 비교, 분석하여 보았다.

박물관은 한 사회의 기억이 저장되어 있는 곳이라고들 한다. 이러한 기억들은 유물이라는 매게체를 통해 현재로 되살아나 자신의 뿌리인 전통을 가시화해준다. 국립등대박물관은 지난 100년간 우리나라의 밤바다를 비춰주고 뱃길을 알려주는 항로표지의 역사를 고스란히 보여주는 곳이라 할 수 있다. 최근 박물관의 변화는 굉장히 빨리 진행되고 있고 다양한 변화의 모습을 보여주고 있으며 국립등대박물관도 이러한 변화의 추세에 발맞추어 나아가야 한다. 국내유일의 등대전문박물관으로서 위상과 역할을 되짚어 보고 박물관 운영 전문성 제고 및 발전 방안을 수립함으로서 희망을 밝혀주고 꿈을 심어주는 국립등대박물관으로 거듭나고자 한다. 독창적이고 참신한 전시로 관람객에게 최상의 만족도를 선물 할 것이며 쾌적한 관람 환경 및 시설로 동남권 최고의 명소로 자리매김하기 위하여 열심히 노력할 것이다.

A ubiquitous refers to the integration of the existing documentation. cyber space, and high-tech digital technology into a wireless terminal through ubiquitous computing and network technology. With the ubiquitous environment, a library and museum can extend its roles and functions all the more, and expectedly results in internal and external great changes.
