Comparative Study on the Flexural Characteristics of Composite Bridge Deck Fabricated with Filament Winding and Pultrusion (필라멘트 와인딩과 인발성헝 제작 복합소재 교량 바닥판의 휨 특성 비교분석)

  • To develop composite bridge deck, comparative study on the flexural characteristics of deck fabricated with filament winding and pultrusion was performed. In this study, composite deck of triangular shape was fabricated with filament winding process and flexural tests were conducted along with pultruded 'Duraspan' deck. Failure load, maximum deflection and strains were compared with each other. Also finite element analysis for filament winding deck was carried out and the results were compared with those from experiments.

  • This paper presents the flexural behavior of a hybrid Glass Fiber-Reinforced Polymer(GFRP)-steel decks for use in deteriorated bridge decks replacement. Static load tests were conducted to investigate the structural characteristics of the hybrid FRP-steel deck. The tested deck panel satisfied the design criteria. The failure mode of the hybrid deck was demonstrated ductility with deformation beyond initial yielding. The responses were compared with the ANSYS finite element predictions. It was found that the presented hybrid deck was efficient for use in bridges. The thickness of the hybrid deck may be decreased when compared to that of the all FRP deck with similar flexural rigidity.

Dynamic Characteristics of a 3-dimensional Irregular Setback Structure (3차원 비정형 Setback 구조물의 동적 특성)

  • 입면의 형태가 임의의 층에서 큰 차이를 보이는 3차원 비정형 setback 구조물의 동적 거동 특성과 이들 구조물의 동적 거동에 미치는 바닥 슬래브의 면내 변형 효과를 분석하였다. 비정형 setback 구조물의 전반적인 동적 거동특성을 분석하기 위하여 베이스 부분의 평면적과 타워 부분의 평면적 비(R?), setback 발생위치(L?)등을 매개 변수로 사용하였다. 48개의 비정형 setback 구조물들에 대한 해석 수행 결과 setback 구조물은 정형 구조물에 비해 횡방향 1차 모드의 유효 모드 중량(effective modal weight)이 작게 나타나는 경향을 보이기 때문에 setback 구조물의 동적 거동을 파악하기 위해서는 등가 정적 해석법 대신에 동적 해석을 수행할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 바닥슬래브의 면내 변형은 보다 긴 구조물의 고유 진동 주기값을 가져오며 모드 순서 및 모드 형상에도 변화를 준다. 이러한 사실은 바닥슬래브의 면내 변형으로 인하여 횡방향 저항 요소들간의 전단력 분포와 층 변위가 영향을 받을 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 현상은 횡방향 저항 요소들간의 강성 차가 심한 프레임-전단벽 시스템에서 두드러지게 나타난다.

  • To date, research on heavy floor impact noise has mainly been conducted. The reason is that in the case of lightweight floor impact noise, sufficient performance could be secured with only the floating floor structure and floor finishing materials. In the case of heavy floor impact noise in a floating floor structure, the reduction performance can be predicted to some extent by measuring the dynamic elasticity of the floor cushioning material. However, with the recent introduction of the post-measurement system, various floor structures are being developed. In particular, many non-floating floor structures that do not use cushioning materials are being developed. In floor structures where cushioning materials are not used, the finishing material will have a significant impact on lightweight floor impact noise. However, research on floor finishing materials is currently lacking. In this study, as a basic research on the development of various floor finishing materials for effective reduction of lightweight floor impact noise, various materials used as floor finishing materials for apartment complexes were selected, the sound insulation performance of lightweight floor impact noise was measured in an actual laboratory, and vibration characteristics were identified through simple experiments. The purpose was to confirm the predictability of light floor impact noise.

Practical Modeling for the Vibration Analysis of a Composite Deck Slab Structures (합성데크 바닥판 구조물의 진동해석을 위한 실용적인 모형화)

  • Composite slab structures consisted with steel deck plate and concrete material show generally anisotropic structural behavior because of different stillness between the major direction and sub-direction of deck plate, and also the structures can be regarded as the laminated slab structures. It is necessary for the composite deck slab structures to carry out the exact vibration analysis to evaluate the serviceability. Also, it is needed to evaluate the exact structural behavior of composite deck slab with a layered orthotropic materials. In this paper, the thickness of lopping concrete and deck plate are used to calculate the material coefficient stiffness of a sub-direction, and an equivalent depth calculated from sectional stiffness of concrete and deck plate is applied to get the silliness of a major direction. The stiffness of two layered composite plates with different depth is determined by laminated theory. It is concluded that the presented method car efficiently analyze the structural behavior of composite deck slab consisted with steel deck plate and concrete material in the practical engineering field.

  • 고층구조물의 해석에 사용되는 ETABS와 같은 상용프로그램은 해석의 단순화를 위하여 강막가정을 사용하게 된다. 이와 같은 강막가정은 일반적으로 바닥판의 휨 강성과 보의 편심효과를 무시하게 된다. 이러한 가정은 골조구조물의 정적해석에 대해서는 정당한 결과를 얻을 수 있으나 동적해석의 경우에는 바닥판의 휨 강성과 보의 편심효과가 구조물의 횡 방향 거동에 주요한 영향을 미치게 된다. 그러나 바닥판의 영향과 보의 편심효과를 고려하기 위해서는 유한요소의 특성상 바닥판과 보를 여러 개의 요소로 나누어야 하며, 이로 인하여 해석과 구조물의 모형화에 많은 시간이 소요되는 단점이 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위하여 부분구조기법과 대형요소를 사용한 효율적인 모형화 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 또한 최종적으로 각 층에 대하여 강막가정을 적용하여 층 당 3개의 자유도만을 고려하는 막대모델을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 모형화기법의 정당성을 검토하기 위하여 구조물의 응답을 비교하였다.

강.콘크리트 합성바닥판 일본 합성구조물 설계의 소개

  • 현재 일본의 합성구조물의 설계에 관한 기준서는 토목학회 '강구조물의 극한강도와 설계'와 철도종합기술연구소의 '철도구조물등설계표준.동해설(강.합성구조물)'이 있다. 그리고, 토목학회.강구조위원회.강구조 극한강도 연구 소위원회에서 합성구조물의 극한강도 분과회를 조직해서, 한계상태설계법의 포멧에 따라 합성구조물의 설계지침서를 금년 여름경에 출판 할 예정이다. 본인도 합성구조물의 극한강도 분과회의 위원으로 약 3년간동안 많은 공부와 연구를 행할 수 있는 기회를 받았다. 합성구조물의 설계지침서는 합성바닥판, 합성거더와 합성기둥으로 나누어져있으며, 이번에 소개한 부분은 그중 일부분인 합성바닥판의 강판과 철근콘크리트를 적당한 전단연결재로 결합한 합성바닥판의 설계부분이다.

  • In this study, to develop composite bridge deck of many advantages such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and high durability, profile design, laminate design and finite element analysis were carried out. In the analysis, 5-girder single span bridge with composite deck was considered. Deflection serviceability, failure criteria and web buckling were evaluated. Composite deck of designed profile was fabricated with pultrusion process. The coupon tests were conducted for the fabricated deck and the results were described.

Evaluation on Effect of Constitution of Timber Framed Floor on Insulation Performance Against Impact Sound by Field Measurements (현장실험을 통한 목조바닥의 구성요소가 충격음 차단성능에 미치는 영향 평가)

  • Constituents of timber framed floor affect the insulation performance against impact sound significantly. Among them, installation of massive sound absorbing layer and reinforcement of stiffness of timber floor have been considered as major factors that improve the insulation performance against impact sound. Researches on evaluating the effect of floor constitutions have been carried out through the field measurements for timber framed buildings in Korea. It is concluded that the impact sound pressure level at the relatively lower frequency governs the overall insulation performance, and can be improved by the installation of sound absorbing layer and reinforcement of floor stiffness. Especially, the insulation performance against heavy impact sound was improved significantly when the massive cement mortar layer for floor heating system was installed and the stiffness was reinforced by shortening the joist span using additional beam at the mid-position of original span.

Penetration of De-icing Salt in Bare Concrete Bridge Decks in Highways (고속도로 콘크리트 노출 바닥판에서의 제설 염화물의 침투 특성)

  • In 1980s, a number of bridges with bare concrete deck were constructed on the Korea highway. After 20 years service, many bare concrete decks are still in good condition without special maintenance activity. Therefore, the application of the bare concrete deck is being reestimated from the view of construction and maintenance. As a part of the program, the characteristic of penetration(surface chloride and apparent diffusion coefficient) of de-icing salt into bare concrete bridge deck was analyzed in order to predict the service life of bridge on Korea highway.
