Development of Annual Festival by Resource Plants in Jeju Island (자원식물을 이용한 제주도 연중 축제 프로그램 개발)

  • 제주도는 우리나라의 가장 남쪽에 위하고 있으며 따뜻한 기온과 연중 축제 및 식물원, 박물관 등의 테마파크가 많아 온국민이 가장 선호하는 관광지역이다. 식물을 이용한 지역축제 및 관광명소 만들기는 초기비용이 적게 들어가고 친환경적이며 날이 갈수록 부가가치가 커지는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 제주도에서 행하여지고 있는 축제의 특성을 간단히 알아보고 자원식물을 이용한 제주도에서 연중 가능한 축제 프로그램을 개발하고자 하였으며 결과는 다음과 같았다. 1. 제주도의 축제는 총 31개이었으며 그중에서 식물을 이용한 축제는 15개로 전체의 48%를 차지하였다. 2. 지역에 따른 구분을 보면 제주시의 전체 축제는 16개이었으며 그중에서 식물을 이용한 축제는 8개로 전체의 50%를 나타냈고 서귀포시는 15개중에서 7개로 절반이 안되는 47%이었다. 3. 자원식물을 이용한 제주도에서의 연중 축제 프로그램 개발에 있어서 50여개를 제안하며 봄의 3월은 동백꽃축제, 수선화축제, 칡캐기축제, 서향축제, 4월은 꽃잔디축제, 개나리축제, 고사리축제, 조팝나무축제, 모란 축제, 개복사꽃축제, 살구꽃축제, 유채꽃축제, 청보리축제, 새우란축제, 왕벚꽃축제, 진달래축제, 5월은 참꽃나무축제, 대나무축제, 해당화축제, 작약축제, 라일락축제 등이 가능하다. 4. 여름의 6월은 한라산철쭉축제, 꽃창포축제, 접시꽃축제, 우리밀축제, 7월은 풍란축제, 홍화축제, 도라지축제, 수련축제, 산수국축제, 배롱나무축제, 8월은 해바라기축제, 무궁화축제, 다알리아축제, 칸나축제, 다육식물축제, 하귤축제, 열대과수축제, 등이 가능하다. 5. 가을의 9월에는 꽃무릇축제, 미로찾기축제, 10월에는 감국축제, 구절초축제, 11월에는 닥나무한지축제, 국화축제, 제주한란축제, 포인세티아축제 등이 가능하다. 6. 겨울의 12월에는 제주자생 구상나무를 이용한 크리스마스트리 경연대회, 1월에는 납매꽃축제, 먼나무축제, 2월에는 매화축제, 풍년화축제 등이 가능하다.

Basic Study of the Hysteresis of a Nano Shock Absorbing Damper by Employing Mixed Lyophobic Coating Silica Gel (실리카 겔의 소수화 코팅 혼합 정도에 따른 나노 충격 흡수 장치의 이력 현상에 대한 기초적 연구)

  • A novel application of nano-technology in the field of engineering, called colloidal damper, is investigated. This device is complementary to the hydraulic damper, having a cylinder-piston construction. Particularly for colloidal damper, the hydraulic oil is replacedby a colloidal suspension, which is consisted from a nano-porous matrix with controlled architecture and a lyophobic fluid. In this experimental work, the porous matrix is composed from silica gel, with labyrinth architecture, coated by organo-silicones substances in order to achieve a hydrophobic surface. Water is considered as associated lyophobic fluid. The colloidal damper test rig and the measuring technique of the hysteresis are described. the influence of the hydrophobicity level upon the colloidal damper hysteresis is investigated, for silica gels with similar pores distribution. A certain desired shape of the hysteresis can be achieved by employing mixture of silica gels with different level of hydrophobicity and/or architecture. With these results, it is believed that the proposed damper can be designed and be applied to the desired structure.

  • Sprachverstehen ist ein interaktiver kognitiver Prozess. Der Verlauf des Sprachverstehens ist durch die kontinuierliche Interaktion von Bottom-up- und Top­down-Prozessen gekennzeichnet. Die eingehende Information wird durch die interaktive Nutzung verschiedener sprachlicher und aussersprachlicher Wissenssysteme verarbeitet. Herangewgen wird z. B. syntaktisches Wissen, lexikalisches und semantisches Wissen, Weltwissen und pragmatisches Wissen. Das hier vorgestellte Modell stellt den Begriff des lexikalischen Kopfes als $f\"{u}r$ die Verarbeitung von $S\"{a}tzen$ zentrales Konzept heraus. $Ambiguit\"{a}ten$ werden unter $Ber\"{u}cksichtigung$ der in ihnen $repr\"{a}sentierten\;Information\;aufzul\"{o}sen$ versucht Im Unterschied zu Prinzipien wie 'minimal attachment' rekurriert 'head attachment' nicht auf eine dem Satz zugrundeliegende Struktur, sondem allein auf lexikalische Information von $K\"{o}pfen$ und deren Reihenfolge an der $Oberfl\"{a}che$ eines Satzes. Head attachment ist daher $unabh\"{a}ngig$ von Annahmen $\"{u}ber$ syntaktische Strukturen. $W\"{a}hrend$ der 'tiefere Sinn' von Prinzipien wie 'minimal attachment' darin liegen soll, eine $m\"{o}glichst$ geringe Arbeitsspeicherbelastung durch Aufbau $m\"{o}glichst$ wenig komplexer Strukturen zu $gew\"{a}hrleisten$, erreicht 'head attachment' eine Entlastung durch die $Erm\"{o}glichung\;einer\;fr\"{u}hen$ semantischen Integration, da es Anbindungen in Abh\"{a}ngigkeit$ von dem Vorhandensein von $K\"{o}pfen\;vorschl\"{a}gt$. Es ist dieser Aspekt $\"{o}konomischer$ Verarbeitung, durch Verarbeitungs­heuristiken zu einer $m\"{o}glichst\;fr\"{u}hzeitigen$ Interpretation zu gelangen, der im hier vorgestellten Modell im Vordergrund steht, und zwar im Sinne einer semantikorientierten Syntaxverarbeitung.

  • Pb(Zr,Ti)$O_3$(PZT)는 현재 가장 우수한 압전특성을 가진 압전 재료로써, 압전효과와 역압전효과를 이용한 압전 액추에이터, 압전 트랜스듀서, 센서, 레조네이터 등의 활동에 대한 연구과 활발하게 이루어 지고 있다. 그러나 압전성이 우수한 PZT 세라믹스들은 Pb 성분이 포함되어 있기 때문에 환경오염뿐 아니라, 경제적인 측면에서도 많은 문제점을 가지고 있어 최근에는 유해원소인 Pb를 포함하지 않는 친환경 압전 세라믹스에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. (Na, K)$NbO_3$은 뛰어난 특성을 가지고 있어 Pb를 기본조성으로 하는 압전세라믹스를 대체할 수 있는 대표적인 물질중의 하나로 알려져 있다. 그러나, potassium의 수분과의 반응성과, 소결시 휘발로 인해 높은 소결밀도의 NKN을 제조하기 어렵다. 이러한 단점을 보안하기 위해 Hot pressing, Hot forging, SPS 등 여러가지 방법을 이용하여 연구가 수행되고 있지만, 고가의 제조공정을 이용해야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 $BaSrTiO_3$의 새로운 고용체를 추가시켜 기본 NKN 조성보다 소결밀도, 유전 및 압전특성을 향상시키고자 하였다.

Comparative Analysis of the Performance of Robot Sensors in the MSRDS Platform (MSRDS 플랫폼에서 로봇 센서들의 성능 비교분석)

  • MSRDS(Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio), the robot simulation platform provides the simulation robots and environments enabling to the basic robot programming without hardware robots. In this paper, we carry the maze escaping problems to compare and analyze the performance of LRF, bumper, IR, and sonar sensor with the same condition on MSRDS(Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio) environment. To evaluate the performance of sensors, we program the simulation environments with same conditions for all sensors. We could find that the LRF sensor had the highest performance and the bumper sensor has the lowest performance on the travel time, the number of turning, and the number of collisions. It was also confirmed that IR sensor and sonar sensor had lower performance than LRF sensor on the number of turning.

  • In this study, new shock absorbing system was proposed using silica gel particles according to the nano-technology. For the design and real application of the proposed damper, an experimental investigations are carried out using colloidal damper, which is statically loaded. The porous matrix is composed from silica gel(labyrinth architecture), coated by organo-silicones substances, in order to achieve a hydrophobic surface. Water is considered as associated lyophobic liquid. Reversible colloidal damper static test rig and the measuring technique of the static hysteresis were described. Iufluence of the water volume and particle diameters upon the reversible colloidal damper hysteresis was investigated. Also, influence of the relaxation time on the hysteresis of the damper was investigated. As a result, the proposed new shock absorbing damper is proved as an effective one, which can be replaced for the conventional hydraulic damper.

  • The epithelium of the rectum in the mosquito larvae, Culex pipiens pallens: Culicidae, was observed with electron microscope. The rectum of posterior hindgut was composed of epithelial tissue which were covered with cuticular intima on the luminal side, connective tissue and muscular tissue. The rectal epithelial cells were squamous absorptive cells, and apical plasma membranes were highly folded to form apical infoldings with mitochondria inserted them. The lateral plasma membranes were irregularly infolded and well developed mitochondria were found closely associated with infoldings . And intercellular spaces (or channels) were formed between the epithelial cells, whereas speptate junction was found near the apical zone between them. Also basal plasma membrane were infolded which made basal infoldings ('basal labyrinth'), and were covered with thin basal lamina. Rcetal epithelium was surrounded by the connective tissue which was contained axon and tracheole cells. Connective tissue was covered with the bundles of circular and longitudinal muscles.

  • Q-Learning, a representative algorithm of reinforcement learning, experiences repeatedly until estimation values about all state-action pairs of state space converge and achieve optimal policies. When the state space is high dimensional or continuous, complex reinforcement learning tasks involve very large state space and suffer from storing all individual state values in a single table. We introduce Q-Map that is new function approximation method to get classified policies. As an agent learns on-line, Q-Map groups states of similar situations and adapts to new experiences repeatedly. State-action pairs necessary for fine control are treated in the form of rule. As a result of experiment in maze environment and mountain car problem, we can achieve classified knowledge and extract easily rules from Q-Map

  • Aneurysm of the basilar artery trunk are rare and the surgical approach is very difficult because of the complexity of surgical anatomy around the basilar trunk and the vulnerable adjacent neurovascular structures. The development of brain CT and MRI makes the accurate diagnosis and produces the improvement of surgical approaches at the lesion of the skull base. One of the surgical approaches of basilar trunk aneurysms, the retrolabyrinthine presigmoid transtentorial transpetrosal approach to the aneurysm of the basilar trunk has some advantages of minimal retraction of cerebellum and temporal lobe, intact auditory and facial nerve function by the preservation of the vestibulocochlear and facial nerves, a preservation of sigmoid sinus and vein of Labbe and a relatively good operation field. We had a good result with this approach for the patient of basilar trunk aneurysm and reported the case with the review of literatures.

  • Mites in the family Parasitidae (Mesostigmata) are important predators in soil ecosystem. During the soil acarine biodiversity study from diverse habitats in the Republic of Korea, we found newly recording species of parasitid mites of genus Cycetogamasus and Neogamasus. This paper reports two species Cycetogamasus coreanus and C. corculatus of genus Cycetogamasus and five species Neogamasus eogenualis, N. tikhomirovi, N. laciniatus, Neogamasus kengicus and Neogamasus mahunkai of genus Neogamasus as new record in the Republic of Korea.
