미강의 약리성분 감마-오리자놀의 정량 (Quantitative Analysis of ${\gamma}-oryzanol$ in Rice Bran)

  • 미강에 함유된 약리성분인 ${\gamma}-oryzanol$ 함량을 검정하여 용도 다양화 연구의 기초 자료를 제공코자 시험을 수행한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. Soxhlet 추출장치에서 얻은 미강유에서 유리 sterol과 ferulic acid ester가 분리되었다. 유리 sterol은 GC-MS에 의하여 campesterol, ${\beta}-sitosterol$ 및 stigmasterol로 구성되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. ferulic acid ester는 알칼리 가수분해에 의하여 얻어지는 검화분해물을 분리용 TLC로 분리하여 triterpene과 sterol을 얻었다. sterol은 GC-MS 측정으로 유리 sterol과 같은 조성임을 알았으며 triterpene은 cycloartanol, cycloartenol, 24-methylenecycloartanol 및 미지의 triterpene로 구성되었다. 미강유나 pitch 중 ferulic acid ester의 흡광도를 기준으로 ${\gamma}-oryzanol$의 함량을 평가한다면 큰 오차는 없으리라 생각된다.

디젤기관의 대체연료로서 미장유의 특성 연구(II) (A Study on Characteristics of Rice Bran Oil as an Alternative Fuel in Diesel Engine(II))

  • In this study, it was tried to analyze not only total hydrocarbon but individual hydrocarbon components from C$_1$to C$\sub$6/ in exhaust gas using gas chromatography to seek the reason fur remarkable differences of smoke emission of diesel fuel, esterfied rice bran oil and blended fuel(esterfied rice bran oil 20vo1-% + diesel fuel 80vo1-%). Individual hydrocarbons(C$_1$ ∼C$\sub$6/) as well as total hydrocarbon of esterfied rice bran oil is reduced remarkably compared with diesel fuel. Although smoke emission of esterfied rice bran oil reduced remarkably compared with commercial diesel fuel, NOx emission of esterfied rice bran oil and blended fuel was increased slightly at high loads and speeds. And, it was tried to reduced NOx emission of them by exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) method. Simultaneous reduction of smoke and NOx emission was achieved with the combination of esterfied rice bran oil and EGR method in consequence.

고점성 바이오유의 분무미립화를 위한 초음파 이용 (Use of Ultrasonic to Atomizing a Highly Viscous Bio-oil)

  • Ultrasonic energy was applied for atomizing rice-bran oil which is a highly viscous bio fuel. Six different nozzles, an injection simulator, and an ultrasonic generator system were designed and constructed for the experiment. An immersion liquid method was used for the measurement of injection droplet sizes. The characteristics of injection droplets was investigated with respect to the numbers of the droplets with diameters ranging from 5$\mu$m 50$\mu$m and to the Sauter mean diameter. The results showed that the ultrasonic energy was effective for the improvement of the atomization of the injection droplets for all the factors such as type of nozzles, nozzle opening pressures, and collection distances.

미강유의 정제과정중 잔류농약의 감소 (Removal of Pesticide Residues in Rice Bran Oil by Refining Process)

  • This study was carried out to determine the pesticide residues in rice bran, crude rice bran oil and the oil of various stages of refining process. Each samples were analyzed for 41 pesticide residues by multiclass multiresidue methods with GC-ECD, NPD and identified by GC-MSD. Rice bran were detected cypermethrin, diazinon, dichlofluanid, and its level were ranged from 0.01~0.122 ppm. Crude rice bran oil were detected cypermethrin, diazinon, dichlofluanid, dimethoate, etrimfos, flucythrinate, and its level were ranged from 0.015~0.654 ppm Crude rice bran oil has the higher level of pesticide residues and more varieties of pesticides than rice bran. But pesticide residues in the crude rice bran oil was found to be almost removed then pigment was decolorized by absorption using active carbon and clealy removed by thermolysis for deodorization.

  • Lately, our world is faced with very serious problems related to the increased air pollution of the exhaust emissions from automobiles. In particular, the exhaust emissions of diesel engines are recognized as a main cause which strongly influence environment. Lots of researchers have attempted to develop various alternative fuels to reduce these harmful emissions in diesel engine. The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate the possibility of esterfied rice bran oil for diesel fuel substitution in a naturally aspirated D. 1. diesel engine, and also find means to reduce smoke emissions in esterfied rice bran oil combustion. The smoke emission of esterfied rice bran oil is reduced remarkably in comparison with commercial gas oil, that is, it was reduced approximately 58.2% at 2500rpm. But, power, torque and brake specific energy consumption didn't have no large differences. It was concluded that esterfied rice bran oil can utilize effectively as an alternative and renew- able fuel fur diesel engine.

고점성 바이오 디젤유의 분무미립화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Atomization of a Highly Viscous Biodiesel Oil)

  • An experiment was conducted to figure out the atomization characteristics of a highly viscous biodiesel fuel with rice-barn oil applying and ultrasonic energy into it. A spray simulator for the droplet atomization, an ultrasonic system, and six different nozzles(3 pintle-type nozzles and 3 single hole-type nozzles) were made. To investigate effects of ultrasonic energy in a highly viscous liquid fuel, an immersion liquid method was used as a measurement method on droplet size distributions. It was found that the ultrasonic energy was effective for the atomization improvement of the rice-bran oil as a highly viscous biodiesel fuel and the factor나 such as the nozzle opening pressure, pin-edge angles, hole diameters, and collection distances affected the atomization of spray droplets.

쌀 품종별 유과제조 특상

  • 멥쌀로 동진, 삼강을, 찹쌀로 신선, 한강품종을 선택하여 유과제조실험을 하였다. 사용한 멥쌀의 아밀로오스 함량은 각각 18.5%, 찹쌀은 2-3% 수준이었으며 수침시(12$^{\circ}C$) 2시간 이내에 평형 수분함량에 도달하였고 멥쌀은 30%, 찹쌀은 42%의 수화도를 보였다. 쌀전분의 호화 개시 온도는 64.5-67.5$^{\circ}C$로서 멥쌀과 찹쌀에서 큰 차이가 없었고 유과반데기는 RH 75-84%에서 저장하면 튀김 적정 수분함량인 11-12% 수준에서 유지 가능하였다. 멥쌀과 찹쌀로 유과를 제조, 비교한 결과 멥쌀의 팽화도는 2.5-2.9$m\ell$/g(건물), 찹쌀은 9.1-10.8$m\ell$/g(건물)로 멥쌀이 유의적으로 떨어지고 반대로 경도는 유의적으로 높아졌으며 바삭바삭한 정도는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 비정상 젖산 발효균에 의하여 팽화도, 경도 등은 개선되지 않았고 튀김 기름으로는 콩기름과 미강유간에 차이가 없었다.

  • In this experiment, we investigated the changes of erythrocyte feature and Ca concentration in rat fed the diet containing different common oils in Korea for different feeding periods(4 weeks or 12 weeks), using Korea sesame oil, perilla oil, rice bran oil and mixed oil. W-3/w-6 ratio of each group was 0.001, 1.44, 0.03 and 0.112, respectively. P/S ratio of each group was 9.64, 10.49, 5.58 and 1.68, respectively. Perilla oil(w-3 rich) increased w-3/w-6 ratio of erythrocyte membrane, decreased the amount of trapped Ca and inhibited the decrease of cell volume. These results indicate that in maybe increase erythroyte fluidity and deformability, and affect erythrocyte function. In conclusion, w-3 rich perilla oil affects erythrocyte feature.
