Evaluation of Colour Difference Between Cotton Dyed Fabrics and Reflection Print Images Using CAD Systems (CAD 시스템을 이용한 면염직물과 스캐닝 프린트 이미지간의 색차 평가)

  • 컴퓨터와 첨단영상매체의 발달로 디자인 분야에서도 컴퓨터를 사용하여 색을 자유롭게 선택할 수 있는 그래픽 소프트웨어가 도입되고 있으나 영상정보의 색채 재현성과 영상입출력 장치의 다양화로 인한 색채 불일치에 대한 문제들이 극복해야할 시급한 과제로 부각되고 있다. 따라서, 색채 영상정보 입출력장치의 색채구현 성능과 인간의 색채인지 원리이론을 바탕으로 색보정 알고리즘이 발전하여 색보정 엔진의 개발이 국제적으로 활발히 진행되고 있는 연구 분야임에도 불구하고 국내에서는 그 연구사례가 상대적으로 극히 미비한 실정이며, 더욱이, CAD 시스템을 이용한 패션/텍스타일 디자인 분야에서는 이에 대한 연구가 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 염색 직물의 색을 CAD시스템을 이용하여 soft-copy로 재현하고 이것을 다시 hard-copy로 출력하여 물리적 측정치와 주관적 색채 인지도간의 일치도를 비교하고, 물리적, 주관적 색차의 한계치를 제시함으로써, 패션/텍스타일 디자인 CAD시스템 운용에 기초가 되는 자료를 제공하려 하였다. 연구의 절차는 객관적 측정과 주관적 평가 두 단계로 나누어 진행되었다 연구에 사용된 직물은 7가지 색상의 면 염직물로써, CAD시스템을 이용하여 각 직물당 5개의 soft-copy를 재현하고, 이것을 다시 hard-copy로 출력하여 spectrophotometer를 이용해 물리적 측정(ΔE, ΔL, Δc, Δh)을 실시하였다. 또한 주관적 평가에는 20명의 의류학 전공 학생들이 참여하였다. 결과 분석에는 분산분석과 Friedman분석이 사용되었다. 연구 결과 색차 측정에 대한 물리적 측정치와 1차 주관적 평가치 사이의 일치도는 90.5%로 나타났으며, 2차 주관적 평가치와의 rank order는 거의 일치하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주관적 평가에서 피험자들은 색차인지에 있어 CIELAB 색채공간의 각각의 색요소 차이보다는 전체 색차에 더 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.녹색콩풍뎅이의 유충에 의하여 피해를 받는 것이 확인되었다. 녹색콩풍뎅이 유충의 피해를 받은 금잔디는 황화되거나 시들음 증상이 있었고, 이듬해 봄에는 잔디의 회복이 지연되었다.ic conductivity. Effect of Nitrite and Ascorbic Acid-derived Gas on Color Development and Physical Characteristics in Emulsified Sausage (아질산염과 아스코르브산 유래 가스가 유화형 소시지의 발색 및 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • In order to improve or replace the direct addition method of nitrite and ascorbic acid, the effect of nitrite and ascorbic acid-derived gas addition on color development and physical characteristics in emulsified sausage was investigated. Nitrite (150 ppm) and ascorbic acid (450 ppm) were added directly to emulsion in the control group, but in the treatment group nitrite and ascorbic acid-derived gas was used for emulsion. In the control and treatment groups, pH values were higher than raw meat, but these values did not show significant change during the storage in both groups. In the meat color, lightness (CIE $L^*$) and redness ($a^*$) values of control and treatment groups were higher compared to raw meat. The treatment group has lower redness and higher yellowness ($b^*$) values than control group during the storage (p<0.05). However, lightness was not significantly different between control and treatment groups. The cook and storage loss values were significantly different between control and treatment groups (p<0.05), but the water holding capacity and shear force values were not significantly different between groups. These results showed that treatment of nitrite and ascorbic acid-derived gas has a similar effect to direct addition of nitrite and ascorbic acid on color development and physical characteristics in emulsified sausage. Also, these results showed that nitrite and ascorbic acid-derived gas addition may be a good possible alternative of nitrite and ascorbic acid using in emulsified sausage.

Effect of green tea supplementation on probiotic potential, physico-chemical, and functional properties of yogurt (요구르트의 프로바이오틱 활성과 물리화학적 및 기능적 특성에 대한 녹차 추출물의 영향)

  • The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of green tea extract on probiotic potential, physico-chemical and functional properties of yogurt fermented with Lactobacillus acidophilus D11 or Lactobacillus fermentum D37 strains isolated from Doenjang. Probiotic activities such as the resistance to artificial digestive juices and the ability to adhere to epithelial cells were slightly higher in yogurt supplemented with green tea extract than in plain yogurt, which may be attributed to the increase in the number of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) by green tea extract supplementation. Furthermore, the microbiological and physico-chemical properties such as the number of LAB, organic acid production and viscosity were significantly (P<0.05) increased in yogurt added green tea extract compared to plain yogurt fermented with L. acidophilus D11. However, the green tea extract did not significantly (P>0.05) affect these properties of yogurt fermented with L. fermentum D37 strain. Meanwhile, the antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli O157 ATCC 43889, Salmonella enteritidis ATCC 13076, and Salmonella typhimurium KCTC 2514 and antioxidant activities including total phenol content, radical scavenging ability, and ferric-reducing antioxidant power were significantly higher in plain yogurt fermented with L. fermentum D37 than with L. acidophilus D11. The antibacterial and antioxidant activities of the yogurt were significantly (P<0.05) increased in proportion to the concentration of green tea extract added to plain yogurt. Consequently, green tea yogurt fermented with L. acidophilus D11 or L. fermentum D37 was considered to be a useful functional food that can inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria and scavenge the free radicals from the body cells.

  • In this review, recent foodborne outbreaks caused by viruses in the Republic of Korea (2010-2019) were analyzed. The human norovirus was found to be the major foodborne virus causing an average of 94.9% of the viral outbreaks. Reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with electrophoresis has been widely used to detect viruses, but several rapid detection methods, including real-time PCR, multiplex PCR, and quantum dot assay, have also been suggested. For norovirus inactivation studies, surrogates such as murine norovirus and feline calicivirus have been widely used to identify the reduction rate owing to the limitations in laboratory cultivation. Conversely, direct cell infection studies have been conducted for other foodborne viruses such as adenovirus, astrovirus, rotavirus, and hepatitis A or E virus. Moreover, virucidal mechanisms using various physical and chemical treatments have been revealed. These recent studies suggest that rapid in situ detection and effective control are valuable for ensuring food safety against viral infections.

The Optimal Physical Treatment Process for Production of High-grade Iron Concentrate from Waelz Kiln Slag (Waelz Kiln 슬래그로부터 고품위 철 농축산물의 생산을 위한 최적 물리적 처리공정)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a physical treatment method for obtaining iron concentrate with a grade higher than 60% from slag generated in the Waelz Kiln (WK) process. The size of the WK slag used in this work was several millimeters, with T-Fe and ZnO contents of 40.24% and 1.03%, respectively. The slag samples were pulverized in a laboratory rod mill for various grinding times, followed by a magnetic separation test under a low magnetic intensity of 0.05 T initially. The results showed that the highest iron grade was obtained from samples with a grinding time of 10 min. Additionally, for a grinding time of 20 min, the highest grade and recovery ratios were achieved at a magnetic intensity of 0.8 T. Based on these findings, the optimal physical treatment process proposed in this study resulted in iron concentrates with a grade of 61.34% and an enrichment ratio of 1.52.

  • The promotion of new product is one of most important object for exhibition design. The majority of conventional exhibition technique has been implemented through one-way communication. However, using digital technology, development of new exhibition techniques is necessary for promotion of high-tech products and consideration of the phases of the times. This paper propose the various possibilities of exhibition design model which is using camera sensing and video input/output. Interactivity is efficient method to communicate between viewers and displays. Viewers can be participate actively and exhibition goal will be accomplish through this. Using camera as visual senses, video input/output technique is offered not only introducing new product but also entertaining viewers through various ways of representation. Physical experience and learning process can be expected from the exhibition space and the object. The classification of the artist who are using video input/output technique and exhibition examples are described. The collaboration on a work with the new media artist and the exhibition design will be complement each other. It will be solved the problems of realization and corporation of idea and technology.

Improved Adhesion Strength of the Gradient Zn-Mg Coating on TRIP Steel (TRIP강에서 박막 깊이의 Mg 함량의 변화에 따른 밀착력에 관한 연구)

  • 듀얼 페이즈(DP) 강철과 같은 고강도강(HSS), TRIP강, TWIP강은 무게를 줄이고 자동차의 안전을 향상시키기 위해서 자동차 산업에서 광범위하게 쓰이고 있다. HSS강의 내부식성을 향상시키기 위해서, 향상된 박막 재료와 기존의 아연도금 공정을 대체하는 공정 방법이 필요하다. Zn-Mg 박막은 강의 부식 방지에 대한 강력한 후보이며, 물리적 기상 증착 공정(PVD)은 강의 Zn-Mg 박막의 증착을 위한 유망한 공정이다. 그러나 이전 연구에서 보고 된 바와 같이 Zn-Mg 박막은 Zn-Mg 박막의 높은 취성으로 인하여 Zn 박막에 비하여 접착력이 매우 불충분하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Zn-Mg 박막의 첩착력을 향상시키기 위해 TRIP강 기판 위에 증발 증착법을 활용하여 Zn-Mg/Zn 이중층 박막을 합성하고 진공에서 열처리를 실시하여 박막의 깊이에 따른 Mg의 함량 변화를 유도하였다. Zn-Mg/Zn 박막 합성 시 EMH-PVD를 활용하여 증착하였으며, Zn 중간층을 모재와 Zn-Mg 층 사이에 증착하고 진공중에서 열처리를 실시하여 박막 내에서 Mg 함량의 기울기 변화가 박막의 밀착력에 주는 영향을 평가하였다. 증착된 박막은 FE-SEM을 통하여 미세조직과 박막의 두께를 분석하였고 line-EDS를 통하여 깊이에 따른 Zn와 Mg의 변화를 분석하였으며 XRD를 사용하여 합금상을 분석하였다. Lap shear test를 활용하여 박막의 밀착력을 정략적으로 분석하였다. FE-SEM 및 EDS 분석 결과 Zn-Mg/Zn 박막을 진공에서 열처리를 실시한 후 FE-SEM으로 분석한 결과 미세조직의 큰 차이는 보이지 않았으나, line-EDS 결과 Mg이 확산되는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. XRD 분석 결과 확산한 Mg에 의해서 Zn상은 감소하고 $Mg_2Zn_{11}$, $MgZn_2$와 같은 합금상은 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. Lap shear test 결과 $200^{\circ}C$에서 열처리한 Zn-15wt.%Mg/Zn 박막의 경우 밀착력이 19 MPa로 열처리를 하지 않았을 경우(11 MPa)보다 향상되는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 통하여 Zn-Mg 박막의 두께의 Mg의 함량 변화에 의해서 박막의 밀착력이 변화되는 것을 알 수 있다.

Vehicle Ramming Terror Attacks and Physical Barriers as a Counterterrorism Policy (차량돌진테러와 물리적 방어물에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, it has been frequently reported there were rapid increase of vehicle ramming attacks in the Western countries, such as Europe, United States of America, Australia, and Canada. Vehicle ramming attacks happened in Western countries specifically targeted civilians and maliciously intented to attack as many victims as possible. and resulted in significant number of casualties and wounds. Experts in terrorism analyze the increase of terrors using vehicle is largely due to the change of terror strategy of Islamic extremest groups like ISIS which encouraging would-be terrorist to use vehicles as an effective killing weapons. Accordingly, The most of countries experienced vehicle terrorist attacks began to build physical barriers including ballards, fences, and obstacles on the main shopping streets, transportation facilities, and famous crowded places and buildings in order to prevent mass killing by terrorists' vehicle ramming attack. Contrary to such swift respond to be prepared attacks using vehicle as a weapon Western countries, there are still lack of interests in preparing this type of terrorist attacks among domestic policy makers and scholars. To fulfill the research gap, this study aimed to investigate important issues regarding physical barriers in South Korea. The contributions, implications of this study and suggestions for policy implications of this study findings were discussed in results and discuss.

  • Climate change and related policies and regulations influence the performance of the firms in various ways. Climate change influences corporate competitiveness through physical impacts, GHG regulations, changes in asset values, demand shift, etc. Therefore, corporate competitiveness could be maintained by reducing vulnerability to climate change and adapting to new circumstances. Without effective responses to the challenges, the firms would have difficulties in maintaining their competitiveness in the market and the cost of national economy will significantly increase as well. Even though it seems fairly easy to understand the meaning of competitiveness, deriving the driving forces of and measuring changes in competitiveness are complicated and disputable processes. A common way to overcome it is to develop a 'competitiveness index'. The objective of this study is to derive the main factors influencing corporate competitiveness related to climate change and develop 'competitiveness index' reflecting those factors. The index will make contribution to enhance the response capacity of the firms to climate change and increase the effectiveness of climate change policies for the industry by providing a quantitative tool to measure the changes in corporate competitiveness related to climate change.

The Effect of Abdominal Drawing-in Maneuver Aapplied to Sitting Position in Healthy Adult on Grip Power (정상 성인에서 앉은 자세에 적용한 복부 드로우인 기법이 파악력에 미치는 영향)

  • The abdominal drawing-in maneuver(ADIM), which is performed to strengthen the stabilization muscles of the lumbar, is an exercise method that selectively contracts the TrA and IO by increasing intra-abdominal pressure. In order to check the effect of ADIM in sitting position, which is the most frequently used posture in everyday life, on how to grip power, ADIM was conducted in a sitting position for 30 healthy adults, and then the state was not performed. In each, the grip power was measured to determine how ADIM performed in the sitting position had an effect on grip power and which muscles had the most influence. The muscles mobilized for the electromyography(EMG) measurement were RA, EO, IO/TrA, and ES, which were the most activation lumbar stabilization muscles when ADIM was applied. As a result of the study, the activity on muscles of the lumbar stabilization was significantly increased and the grip power of the muscles was significantly increased than the ADIM in the sitting position. By comparing the measured difference value of each muscle, it was found that any muscle had a greater effect on grip power, but no muscle showed a significant correlation. It is thought that the increase of intra-abdominal pressure did not affect the grip power of a specific muscle. Therefore, if ADIM is performed in a sitting position that is frequently used in everyday life through this study, it will be more effective in increasing the grip power and lumbar stabilization.
