  • 우리나라 항만배후물류단지는 선진항만에 비해 활성화가 미흡하고 다양한 비즈니스모델 개발이 필요하다. DEA모형을 이용하여 우리나라 항만배후물류기업의 경영 효율성을 비교, 분석함으로써 항만배후물류기업의 효율성 수준을 파악하고, 비효율적인 항만배후물류기업의 효율성 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 물류기업의 경영 효율성 비교 분석을 통해 물류기업의 특성별 차이가 있는지 파악하였다. 분석방법은 효율성을 측정하는데 유용한 자료포락분석(DEA)의 CCR 및 BCC 모형을 이용했다. 투입변수는 종업원 수와 매출원가를 사용하였고, 산출변수는 매출, 영업이익과 당기순이익을 사용하였다. 분석자료는 2016년도 공시된 금융감독원 전자공시시스템의 자료를 활용했다. 분석결과 고효율성으로 나타난 물류기업의 수는 3자 물류기업이 많았으며, 효율성이 높은 2자 물류기업들은 우리나라 대기업의 물류 자회사로서 모기업 및 계열사들의 물량을 바탕으로 내부거래 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Analysis of Relative Efficiency of Logistics Facilities in Korea (DEA기법을 이용한 한국 물류시설의 효율성 분석)

  • This paper aims to analyse the relative efficiency of logistics facilities and suggest the policy alternatives for exploring and activating them. This study also divides the logistics facilities into airport terminals, logistics complexes, container terminals, and trucking freight terminals. For this purpose, the CCR-DEA as well as the BCC-DEA techniques are employed to show which part explains the primary cause of inefficiencies of each DMU(Decision Making Unit). The empirical results indicate that the efficiency of logistics complex is the lowest of all, while freight trucking terminal has the highest efficiency. This study also reveals that operation inefficiency is greater than scale inefficiency in most of DMUs, showing that much more effort be done for alleviating the cost resulting from irrational management.

  • 최근 전자상거래시장에서의 매출이 급속히 늘고 있고, 이를 이용하는 고객들도 단순한 배달서비스에서 고품질의 물류서비스를 요구하는 경향이 늘고 있다. 이러한 전자상거래환경에 맞는 물류전략을 개발함으로써 전자상거래업체들은 기업의 비용절감과 고객서비스부분을 강화하여야 한다. 따라서, 전자상거래업체들은 물류아웃소싱을 통해 기업의 유연성을 높이고, 효율적인 삼자물류업체들의 선택 및 이들의 집중적인 관리체제을 통하여 고객서비스를 높여야한다. 본 연구에서는 물류아웃소싱 및 삼자물류에 대한 선행연구들을 토대로 물류아웃소싱 의사 결정에 영향을 미치는 영향변수들, 삼자물류선택요인들과 물류아웃소싱강도와의 관계들을 연 구한다. 또한, 물류아웃소싱강도와 사이버 물류성과 그리고, 삼자물류선택요인들과 사이버 물 류성과의 관계를 연구하여 전자상거래업체들의 물류효율성을 높이는데 기여하고자 한다. 또한, 전자상거래업체들이 삼자물류를 선택하거나 평가하는 효율적인 수단과 방법들을 연구하여 전자상거래업체의 적극적인 삼자물류 활용의 필요성을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 최근 물류 분야는 국가나 기업의 가치창출의 핵심동력으로 인식되고 있다. 하지만 내륙운송의 경우 정보화시스템의 현대화 및 정보연계는 미진한 실정이다. 국가물류의 효율화를 위해서는 물류흐름상의 정보 단절을 방지하는 것이 중요하며, 각 주체별 물류정보 연계/통합의 필요성이 확산되고 있다. 본 연구는 국가물류 효율화를 위해 각 물류 주체별 정보 현황 및 정보 통합의 문제점을 살펴보고, 물류 정보 표준화 방향성을 제시하고자 한다.

The Data Envelopment Analysis of Global Logistics provider (글로벌물류기업의 효율성 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a benchmark of performance standards for Global Logistics Provider in the merging logistics market. The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) can be employed to compare and analyse the efficiencies of Global Logistics Provider(3PL, 4PL). That is because Global Logistics Providers are able to reach the highest level of efficiency by using Logistics institutions and Logistics service systematically. This research is focused on analyzing the efficiencies of top 40 Global Logistics Providers. The framework assumes that the Providers use three inputs to produce one output. The inputs include number of employees information system, and number of warehouses. The output is the annual turnover. The results show that Panalpina, C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Maersk Logistics/Damco, Hub Group, Lander Global Logistics on Global Logistics Providers are the efficient providers. This paper also allows the inefficient DMUs to establish their benchmarking strategies. The strategies are dependent on the assets such as number of employees, information system, and number of warehouses.

  • 물류활동의 효율성을 극대화시키기 위해서는 물류정보시스템의 구축이 필수적이다. 그리고 물류정보시스템은 각 물류활동의 문제점에 대한 명확한 관리지표를 제시할 수 있는 통합적인 시스템으로 구성되어야 한다. 연구결과 물류정보시스템에는 통합, 의사결정지원, 유연성, 예외적인 처리, 성과측정, 피드백, 물류관리 지식 등에 문제가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 물류정보를 합리적, 유기적으로 결합, 제공하여 물류비용 절감과 고객서비스 향상을 기하고 상대적 우위를 차지하기 위한 전략적인 차원의 물류정보시스템의 구축이 필요하다.

  • According to the demand for services. a single point contract between a user and provider spreads over the industry, and the relationship between them is a main issue. The user wants to make a deal with the contributor which can provide the effective services to the user. This study is to estimate the efficiency of global logistics industry with Data Envelopment Analysis, by nations from 2001 to 2005. Furthermore, it tries to estimate the inefficiency affected by macro factors, and proves the association between them using Tobit model. Global logistics industry has made growth both externally and internally more than doubled for the last 5years. Technical inefficiency of global logistics industry is more influenced by pure technical inefficiency than inefficiency of scale. Therefore technical efficiency can be increased by decreasing pure technical inefficiency. Through this study, it found that the logistics industry got influenced to its efficiency by high price of oil, and courier and transportation service market is formed stably. Furthermore, it advocates policy planners to consider effectiveness and clearness of policy which influence to inefficiency of logistics industry. Also, it found that labor and financial support can give critical effect.

  • This paper analyzes the relative efficiency of Korea's logistics industry with the DEA-ANP model from 2003 to 2005. To measure the efficiency, this paper used the numbers of employees, fixed assets. total capital. and operating costs as input factors and sales amounts and net incomes as output factors. The average efficiency score of the entire logistics industry is 0.175, so most logistics companies in Korea should improve their current inefficiencies. The industry with the highest efficiency score is marine transportation. with an average three-year efficiency score of 0.3692. In terms of sales and high efficiency. most of the highest-ranked companies belong to the marine transportation industry, so marine transportation has the most influence on raising the efficiency score of Korea's logistics industry. To improve the inefficiency of inputs that exists overall in the logistics industry it is necessary to control excessive numbers of employees. To improve the amount of sales, it is necessary to make a policy of satisfying various logistics demands, continuous investments, and attracting foreign logistics demand: such things will help strengthen the international competitiveness of Korea's logistics industry.

  • To study the business performance, this research reviewed the revenue of 2012 for shipping and logistics companies in Korea, then selected 10 shipping companies and 10 logistics companies according to annual sales amount. These 20 companies are divided into four groups considering their business structure and their financial performance are organized from 2005 to 2012. Then CCR, BCC model has been applied to static efficiency and dynamic changes in productivity for analysis. As an overall result, logistics companies are proven to be better than shipping company in efficiency, change of productivity, growth and profitability. Among the logistics companies, the performance of second party logistics companies are relatively better in those factor above than the third party logistics companies.
