A Study on Establishment of Technical Guideline of the Installation and Operation for the Efficient Bio-gasification Facility of Pig Manure and Food Waste(II): - Results of the Precision Monitoring - (가축분뇨 병합처리 바이오가스화를 위한 설계 및 운전 기술지침 마련 연구(II) - 정밀모니터링 결과 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a design and operation technical guideline for meeting the appropriate design criteria to bio-gasification facilities treating organic wastes. 9 anaerobic digestion facilities which is normally operated during the field survey and 14 livestock manure farms were selected for precision investigation. the physicochemical analysis was performed on the moisture and organic contents, nutrients composition (carbohydrate, fat, protein), volatile fatty acids (VFAs), and nitrogen, etc. Volatile solids (VS) of organic wastes brought into the bio-gasification facilities were 2.81 % (animal manure only) and 5.92 % (animal manure+food waste), respectively. Total solids (TS) reults of samples from livestock farms were 5.6 % in piglets and 11~13 % in other kinds of breeding pigs. The actual methane yield based on nutrients contents was estimated to $0.36Sm^3CH_4/kgVS$ which is equivalent to 72 % of theoretical methane yield value. The optimum mixing ratio depending on the effect of the combined bio-gasification was obtained through the continuous stirred-tank reactor (CSTR) which is operated at different mixing ratio of swine manure and food waste leachate. The range of swine manure and food waste leachate from 60:40 to 40:60 were adequate to the appropriate conditions of anaerobic digestion; less than 100 gTS/, more than alkalinity of 1 gCaCO3/L, C/N ratio 12.0~30.0, etc.

The Relationship between Capital Composition and Market Share in the Global Shipping Market (글로벌 해운시장에서 기업의 자본구조와 시장점유율의 관계)

  • This study is to define the relationship between capital structure and the market share in the global shipping market, estimating the debt-equity ratio. To analyze the impact of the debt-equity ratio on market share, this study collected data from the 100 largest shipping companies from 2010 to 2017. Results identified that global shipping lines moderate their debt-equity rates to 62%, and all of them strategically utilize debt in order to increase market share in global shipping market. In comparison between the group focused on cargo volume and another group focused on freight rates, it is found that the group focused on cargo volume increase their handling cargo volume through increasing the debt rates. Another group used debt rate for reducing the freight rate and enhancing market power. Furthermore, after classifying the samples into high-growth and low-growth companies, this study compared the group focused on cargo volume and another group focused on freight rates. As a result, the low-growth group showed more significant impacts of the debt rate on market share than the high-growth group. The results of this study provide useful insight for future strategic decision making of shipping lines in the global shipping market.

Freight Transport Demand and Economic Benefit Analysis for Automated Freight Transport System: Focused on GILC in Busan (인터모달 자동화물운송시스템 도입을 위한 화물운송수요 및 사업편익분석 - 부산 국제산업물류도시를 중심으로-)

  • This study aims to analyze the freight transport demand and benefit for the introduction of an automated freight transport system focusing on the Global Industry and Logistics City (GILC) in Busan. In pursuit of this aim, four alternatives were calculated - using the freight volume estimating methods and included, the number of businesses, the number of employees set up, future estimated cargo volume, and switched volume from other transport modes into the GILC. Economic benefits were analyzed against social benefits and costs accordingly. The result of the freight transport demand forecast found, the cargo volume of "Alternative 2-1" to be the most advantageous, applying the number of employee unit method and proportion of employees in Gangseo-gu, Busan. In addition to the conventional analysis of direct benefit items (reduction of transport time, traffic accidents and environmental costs), this study also considered additional benefit items (congestion costs savings, and road maintenance costs in terms of opportunity cost). It also considered advanced value for money research in guidance on rail appraisal of U.K, Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2003 of Germany, and RailDec of the United States. The study aims to further contribute to estimating minimum cargo transport demands and assess the economic feasibility of the introduction of new intermodal automated freight transport systems in the future.

  • FMS를 비롯한 대부분의 제조시스템의 운용을 위해서는 크게 전략적 의사결저오가 전술적 읫사결저이 필요하며, 이 중 전술적 의사결증은 부품 선택, 생산율 결정, 부하할당, 부품 투입, 일정계획 문제등과 관련되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 부품투입시점과 부품투입순서에 의해 결정된 부품투입 정책이 시스템 성능에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해서, 서울대학교부설 자동화시스템공동연구소(ASRI)내의 FMS/CIM Center를 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. ASRI-FMS /CIM Center 는 기계가공과 조립이 동시에 이루어지는 FMAS(Flexible Mauufacturing & Assembly System) 형태의 모형공장이며, 현재 세 종류의 모터 등을 생산할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 고려한 부품투입시점 전략으로는 고정 WIP(Work-in-process)유지전략 , 병목기계 전략, 일정비율 투입전략 등이며, 부품 투입순서 전략으로는 크게 주기적 투입전략과 비주기적 투입전략을 고려하였다. 또한 이러한 부품 투입정책들이 시스템 내에서 적용할 수 있는 여러 가지 우선순위규칙 등과 함께 사용될 때, 나타나는 상호관계를 파악하기 위한 연구가 수행되었다. 아울러 병목기계 추가도입, 물류운반시간의 감소 등과 같이 가능한 범위에서 현재의 시스템 조건이 바뀐 상황에 대해서도 시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써, 추후 변경된 시스템에서도 본 연구의 결과가 적응될 수 있도록 하였다.

A Study on the Financial Structure Effect Factor and Business Analysis of Ocean Shipping Companies (국적외항선사의 경영실태분석과 재무구조 영향요인에 관한 실증연구)

  • In this study, the rate of return on investment used as a proxy variable for the entity's value and financial structure (liability ratio) is related to positive balance. This is consistent with the Static Tradeoff Theory (STT) that the entity's value and financial structure are related to a positive balance because the capital expense of a debt (tax-saving effects) that is less than its equity cost before it is in financial difficulty. Also, operating profitability (EBITDA/Sales), investment safety, total asset growth, net working capital and depreciation expenses are related to negative (-) with financial structure (liability ratio). This is the result of an analysis consistent with the Pecking Order Theory (POT). Fuel costs, borrowing, total asset turnover, financial costs, and tangible asset ratios have a significant positive relationship with the debt ratio. This is consistent with the agency theory and confirms that excessive chartering expenses, such as the bankrupt H company, are the main factors that pressure the financial structure of Korean ocean carriers.

Spatial Distribution Patterns of International Physical Distribution through Clearance Depot (통관거점을 이용한 국제물류의 공간적 분포 패턴)

  • This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution pattern of international trade. The method is to analyze the principal components by changing interaction attribute matrix of four dimensions (hinterland, gateway, foreland and commodities) into two dimension matrix. The study area is the territory region of Cheongju clearance depot in inland. The result are as follows : Major spatial patterns of regional connections by hinterland, gateway and foreland are, in the case of exports, ten patterns and in the case of imports come to nine. Composition of major export and import commodities in Cheongju clearance depot are similar, but precision instrument manufactured commodity and nonmetal mineral are remarkable in export and mineral manufactured commodity machinery and electronic manufactured commodity are remarkable in import. Gateway are similar to export and import, but Incheon international airport is used more in the case of import. And Cheongiu international airport is used for some commodities and is remarkable as a foreland of import for the areas outside of Chungcheongbuk-do.

A Study on the Containerization of Non-standardization Cargo for the Competitiveness Improvement of Gwangyang Port (광양항의 경쟁력 제고를 위한 비표준화 화물의 컨테이너화에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to suggest a containerization plan for non-standardized cargo; it also reveals the significance of containerization in facilitating freight inducement and cargo creation for increasing the competitiveness of the Gwangyang port container terminal and checking excessive competition among terminal operators. Therefore, this study suggested a containerization plan and its significance by dividing 14 items, ones with low containerization ratios or undergoing containerization, bulk, and liquid cargoes. In the case of general cargo, it will be necessary to raise the utilization rate by remodeling a general container or improving cargo loading techniques. In the case of bulk cargo, it will be necessary to exploit the benefits of containerization in preventing product deterioration due to rain, facilitating the sale of small orders, ensuring clean cargo handling, and reducing logistics cost, among others. In the case of liquid cargo, it will be necessary to order and sell liquid cargo in small quantities by using superior quality, safe, and durable Flexitank or Flexibag products, which offer transportation convenience and reduce time and costs.

Analysis on Costs Structure and Economic Limitation at Domestic Short Sea Shipping of Container (컨테이너 연안운송의 비용구조와 경제적 제약 분석)

  • This study looks at the reasons behind the termination of container transportation between Busan and Incheon in terms of costs structure, the division of profit, and the economic limitation faced in the domestic shipping market. The operation costs have been examined in relation to the components of logistic system of container shipping and the cost function has been estimated. The distribution proportion of operation revenue has been also investigated, considering the different components of logistics activities. In addition, the average revenue of container vessels of 144TEU and 215TEU has been calculated. Economic limitation can be analysed through the optimisation behaviour of shipping companies which tries to maximize profit or minimize loss. In conclusion, domestic short sea shipping can get the economy of scale only by transporting vessels' maximum capacity. It is also vulnerable to trucking market's fluctuation. Without the subsidy for operation, the liner in domestic short sea shipping will stop the service in order to minimize the loss.

A study on the Analysis of Locational Characteristics of REITs Assets (운영부동산 유형별 리츠자산의 입지특성 분석에 관한 연구)

  • REITs are very closely related to real estate management, but there have been no prior studies analyzing the location of REITs assets. Therefore, this study analyzed the location characteristics of REITs assets in two aspects to clarify the location characteristics by using spatial information of REITs assets. First, the characteristics of the type of city where REITs assets are distributed were analyzed, and second, the characteristics of the zoning where REITs assets are distributed were analyzed. As a result of analyzing the characteristics of the city where REITs assets are distributed by type, it was analyzed that in the case of the capital area, both the ratio of cities with REITs assets location and the intensity of REITs assets location (number of REITs assets per city) have location characteristics by city hierarchy in the order of metropolitan city > big city > small and medium-sized city. In the case of non-capital area's metropolitan and large cities, the ratio of REITs assets location cities is similar to that of the capital area, but the location intensity of REITs assets was analyzed to be significantly lower than that of the capital area. As a result of the analysis of REITs assets by type, housing REITs assets tend to be located in the old downtown commercial zoning and the new downtown residential zoning, office REITs assets are characterized by concentration of location in specific commercial zoning of Seoul, and retail REITs assets are located mainly in the old downtown station area. In addition, it was found that logistics REITs assets tend to be located in management zoning, centering on key logistics hub cities in the region.

A Survey Study on the Performance of Cyber Trade of Korean Traders (사이버무역에 관한 무역업계 실태(實態) 조사(調査))

  • [ $\Box$ ]무역업계는 인터넷의 발전에 따라 급속히 사이버화 하고 있는 무역환경에 적극적으로 대응하기 위해 사이버무역의 도입과 활성화를 위한 움직임을 급속히 확대하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. - 조사대상업체의 절반이 넘는(51.8%) 업체들이 자사제품 홍보, 거래선 발굴, 오퍼 및 거래협상 둥 각종 무역업무에 인터넷을 이용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. - 그러나 무역업계의 사이버무역 활용은 아직 초기단계 수준으로, 이용업체의 절반이상(57.3%)은 작년(1999년) 이후에 처음으로 사이버무역을 시작하였으며 사이버무역에 의한 수출비중도 10% 미만(1999년: 8.8%)의 낮은 수준인 것으로 조사되었다. - 반면, 향후 무역업계의 사이버무역 도입 확대와 수출비중 증가는 가속화될 것으로 나타나, 2000년에는 사이버무역 비중이 전년보다 두 배 이상 늘어난 18.7%에 달할 것으로 예상되었으며, 특히 중소기업의 경우 사이버무역 비중이 상대적으로 대기업보다 커질 것으로 전망되었다. $\Box$ 무역업계가 사이버무역을 도입하는 이유로는 "해외시장 개척효과" 때문이라는 응답이 가장 많았으며, 다음으로 "수출업무 신속화률 통한 인건비 절감"과 "광고비의 절약" 등의 효과를 염두에 두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. - 따라서 여러 수출단계 중에서도 "해외거래선 발굴", "해외시장정보의 수집", "자사 제품의 해외 홍보" 등 주로 시장개척과 마케팅단계에서 사이버무역이 가장 많이 활용되고 성과도 큰 것으로 나타났다. - 시장개척과 마케팅을 위하여 약 40%의 무역업체가 무역거래 알선 사이트를 이용하고 있으며 특히 중소기업의 활용이 두드러진 것으로 파악되었다. - 반면, 사이버무역 활동이 애로를 겪고 있는 수출단계로는 "대금결제, 물류 유통", "신용조회", "거래계약 체결" 등의 순으로 조사되었는데, 이는 국제적 인증제도의 미비, 신용조사에 대한 공신력 부족 둥이 주된 요인인 것으로 분석되었다. $\Box$ 한편, 무역업계는 사이버무역의 필요성과 활용성과에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 갖고 있으나, 사이버무역을 활성화하는데 필요한 인프라로서 사이버 무역 전문인력이나 인터넷 통신환경 등은 아직 만족할 만한 수준이 못 되는 것으로 조사되었다. - 사이버인력 부문에서는 무역업무 종사자 중 인터넷 활용직원의 비율이 50%가 되지 않는 업체가 전체의 절반을 넘고 있으며, 특히 중소기업의 인터넷 활용 직원의 비율이 대기업에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. - 향후 무역업체가 10명의 무역인력을 채용한다고 가정할 경우, 평균 4.5명을 사이버무역 전문인력으로 채용할 계획이라고 밝히고 있으며, 중소기업(4.7명)이 대기업(3.4명)보다 사이버무역 전문인력에 대한 수요가 더 큰 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 대책이 시급한 것으로 파악되었다. - 인터넷 전용선 설치비율도 전체적으로 40%대에 그치고 있으며, 특히 중소기업의 경우 전용선 이용비율(38.5%)이 대기업(80%)의 절반에도 못미치는 열악한 수준에 있어 중소기업의 사이버 무역이용에 하나의 걸림돌이 되고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. $\Box$ 사이버 무역활성화를 위해 가장 시급한 과제로는 "사이버무역 전문인력 확충을 위한 체계적 교육 및 훈련제공"과 "사이버무역 관련법규 및 제도의 마련"으로 나타나, - 정부나 유관기관이 앞장서서 사이버무역 관련 교육프로그램의 개발, 자격시험제도의 도입 등과 아울러 대외무역법 둥 관련법률 및 제도를 정비해 줄 것을 무역업계에서 기대하는 것으로 지적되었다.
