Variation in Physicochemical Properties and Anaerobic Digestion Efficiency by Thermal-alkali Pre-treatment (THAP) Factors (열화학적 가수분해 영향인자에 따른 물리화학적 특성 변화 및 혐기성소화 효율 평가)

  • In this study, thermal-alkali pre-treatment (THAP) optimal condition and co-digestion efficiency with THAP of the mixture food waste and sewage sludge were evaluated for improving the performances of co-digestion for mixed food waste and sewage sludge. The optimal condition of THAP was evaluated for solubilization COD, CST(Capillary Suction Time), TTF(Time to Filter), and volatile fatty acids (VFAs) with THAP temperature and NaOH concentration. In addition, the co-digestion of mixed food waste and sewage sludge were evaluated using biochemical methane potential (BMP) test. The optimal THAP reaction temperature and NaOH concentration of food waste and sewage sludge were $140^{\circ}C$ and 60 meq/L to solubilization COD over 20%, CST and TTF under 60sec and VFAs concentration over 12,000 mg-COD/L, respectively. The optimal condition of co-digestion of mixed food waste and sewage sludge equal to THAP condition. Therefore, it was determined that the optimal condition of THAP reaction temperature and NaOH concentration for co-digestion of mixed food waste and sewage sludge were $140^{\circ}C$ and 60 meq/L, respectively.

  • 유비쿼터스 시대가 다가옴에 따라 핵심 기술 중 하나인 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크(USN)에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 센서 노드를 이용한 다양한 정보를 수집 처리할수 있는 USN 기술은 물류/유통, 환경 감시, 홈 오토메이션 등 다양한 분야에 적용될 수있기 때문에 갈수록 그 중요성은 높아질 것으로 예상된다. 이에 현재 USN의 시장 동향을 간단히 살펴보고, 센서 노드의 핵심이 되는 센서 노드 플랫폼과 센서 노드에 들어가는 센서 네트워크 운영체제의 기술 동향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 국내 패키징 산업의 규모와 현황을 분석, 추정하기 위하여 산업통상자원부와 생산기술연구원(패키징기술센터)이 '2012년 패키징 산업 통계조사'를 실시하였으며, 조사 결과 국내 패키징 산업 시장 규모는 지속적인 성장세를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2011년도 패키징 산업 매출액 규모는 총33조 4,227억원으로 추정되었고 2010년(31조 2,932억원) 대비 68% 증가하였으며, 이는 세계 패키징 시장(약 6,700억 달라 2016년까지 8,200억 달러 3% 성장률) 성장률의 2배로 빠르게 증가하는 것으로 조사되었다. 이와 관련하여 '2012년도 패키징산업 통계조사 결과'를 요약한 내용 전문을 한국생산기술연구원 패키징기술센터로부터 입수 받아 본 잡지에 게재하오니 독자 여러분의 많은 활용 바랍니다.

  • 공업포장업계의 선진화된 기술을 적극적으로 습득하고 기술인력의 양성을 통해 급변하는 물류환경 변화에 적극 대처해 온 한국공업포장협회가 8월 23일 창립 10주년을 맞아 기념식을 열었다. 협회는 2003년 1월, 중량물 포장 업계 단체 설립을 위한 예비 모임 19개사가 참석해 단체 설립에 동의하고 적극 추진하기로 합의한 이후, 2003년 2월 22개가 한국공업포장협의회를 발족하고 임원을 선임, 그해 8월 창립총회를 개최, 금년 10년의 역사를 맞게 됐다. 협회 창립 초기부터 현재에 이르기까지 협회 및 업계 발전을 위해 다각도로 노력해 온 김형빈 한국공업포장협회 수송포장기술연구소 소장에게 창립 10주년을 맞은 소감 및 향후 계획을 들어보았다.

  • Recently, U-Construction is a topic word of construction industry. U-construction is construction with IT technology that is ubiquitous. That will help that domestic construction industry which is lower technology than developed countries overcomes the competition. RFID technology which can be transmission of massage and the receipt of a massage with non touch is core of U-construction. The RFID technology has a big range of application. Man ${\cdot}$ Quality ${\cdot}$ Process ${\cdot}$ Safety ${\cdot}$ Distribution management is already applied to construction industry and especially, The Man ${\cdot}$ Safety management are spreaded widely. This thesis analyzes that the State of Art of RFID Technology to Construction in Korea through the survey and RFID Technology becoming wider by construction scale and period. Process' Distribution management show the trend which becomes wider by construction scale and period.

A Study on the Evaluation of Logistics Efficiency in 22 cities of Guangxi and Yunnan (광서성 및 운남성 22개 도시의 물류 효율성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • The logistics industry is a basic and strategic industry that supports the development of national economy and society. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the logistics efficiency of 22 cities in Guangxi and Yunnan provinces in China, and to grasp the problems and constraints and present policy proposals to promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure in Guangxi and Yunnan provinces. In this paper, five input indexes and four output indexes were selected and the data from 2016 to 2018 were analyzed through DEA method. According to the analysis, the logistics efficiency of Guangxi and Yunnan provinces is not bad overall, but the development of each region is not balanced and the level of logistics efficiency is quite different. And it is found that each city needs to further improve the level of scale because the input and production structure of logistics resources is unreasonable. The limitation of this study is that it is difficult to generalize the analysis results because only the data over the past three years have been analyzed. It is necessary to comprehensively implement longitudinal and transverse analyses by extending the future analysis period over a long period of time.

  • Recently the RFID system, which can recognize multiple tags simultaneously through wireless communication, is emerging as a new technology that can replace the barcode system. Furthermore, related industries are carrying out active research on tags and authentication protocols with guaranteed security that are widely applicable to logistics, distribution, etc. The present study proposes a protocol with enhanced security by introducing the concept of RBAC to the authentication protocol, and a method with lower security for effective mass authentication. The proposed method is advantageous in that it guarantees security against spoofing attack, traffic analysis, replay attack, etc. based on hash function.

  • 최근 전세계 각 연구기관에서 CPS, 클라우드 컴퓨팅, 5G, 빅데이터, IIOT, Milk-run AI 알고리즘 등을 활용한 CIPs(Connected Industrial parks) 아키텍쳐가 다양하게 제안되고 있다. 평균적으로 한국의 중소기업은 기술력과 가격 경쟁력 문제로 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 미국, 일본, 유럽 등의 해외 선진국들에 비하여 기술력이 확실한 우위를 보이지 못하고 있으며, 중국, 베트남 등의 국가에 비하여는 제조 가격 경쟁력을 보이지 못하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 한국의 중소 기업들은 지속 가능한 성장 방안을 찾기 위하여 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 재무적으로 한국의 중소기업들이 수익성을 향상시키기 위해서는 매출을 증대시키는 것 보다 비용을 절감하는 것이 효과적이다. 이러한 문제 의식 속에서 한국 CIPs에 위치한 중소 기업들의 비용 절감을 위한 방안으로서 VJP(Vehicle Junction Problem)를 주목하였다. 중소 기업의 최소 물류 비용 달성을 위한 방법으로 CIPs 결제 한국형 시스템을 연구하였다. 새로운 한국형 CIPs결제 시스템의 세부 항목을 크게 4가지 "데이터(Data)", "업무(Business)", "자금(Finance)", "기술(Technique)"로 구분하여 정리하였다.

  • Since 2000, the market of convenient stores in Korea has developed rapidly due to the explosive growth in single households but it still consists mainly of manual work due to the nature of the domestic industry. Hence the explosive increase in demand in the market is mostly due to workers. Therefore, the research aimed at encouraging efficiency via automation, which is carried out in manufacturing, such as electronic, cars and so on, is inadequate. This study performed a feasibility analysis of investment for introducing an automated system on brand A, which is domestic famous convenience store company. Productivity growth according to the introduction of an automated guided vehicle and the cost-benefits was studied with using a simulation for the picking process, which is most personnel and time consuming. As a result, the simulation showed that the equipment AGV introduced for choosing the process has the effects of cost saving and increased time efficiency for performing manual labor. Furthermore, appropriate numbers of AGV were forecasted considering the capacity of the distribution Center in the brand A convenient store, which has been growing steadily. There are increasing numbers of worker labor costs in the distribution industry these days. Before building a large new automate center, it is expected to provide a good information to investors who are considering increasing productivity through partial automation of each of unit process to achieve some cost reduction.

Analysis on Barriers and Resolution Priority of Sea-Rail Multimodal Logistics among Korea and Eurasia Nations (한국-유라시아간 해륙복합운송 문제점 및 해결 우선순위 분석)

  • The Panmunjom Declaration adopted by the leaders of South and North Korea on April 27, 2018, has created an environment conducive for peace and cooperation in the Korean Peninsula. In the June of last year, South Korea has joined the Organization for Cooperation between Railways (OSJD). The membership of OSJD has established a solid foundation for restoring a multimodal logistics system that connects the Korean peninsula to Eurasia countries, including China and Russia. In this paper, a questionnaire survey targeting working-level experts was conducted to find the barriers in constructing multimodal logistics that efficiently connect the port-continental railways of the Korean peninsula and the Eurasian nations. Survey items were divided into five categories-border crossing procedures, technology, facilities, operation, and government support. As a result, among the most important problems of international multimodal logistics in Eurasia that need to be solved on priority include improving transshipment facilities, eliminating inspection carried out at every country for transit, simplifying documents for customs clearance, and minimizing the changes in freight rates. In conclusion, for vitalizing the connection between the Korean peninsula and the continental railways, it is necessary to develop a transshipment system to facilitate the changes in tracks at the borders by making a joint effort with the international community. Second, railway and operational systems in South Korea, North Korea, China, and Russia should be standardized. Third, international cooperation among South Korea, North Korea, China, and Russia is essential for simplifying customs clearance at borders, priority departure of domestic cargo, sharing information about the changes in freight rates, and so on. Finally, the government should come up with measures to secure the quantity of cargo required to form block trains, while developing new business models.
