In logistic environments, a process, in that it manages the flow of materials among partners, involves more than one organization. In this regard, a logistic process, as a combined process consisting of multiple sub processes, needs to be managed with controling interaction among partners. In achieving systematic management of a logistic process, traditional Business Process Management (BPM) cannot be used for the entire flow, since it lacks the ability to manage interactions among partners. Particularly in logistic environments where RFID technologies are used, how to deal with the connection between RFID event and logistic flow has not been properly addressed. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes a new method of managing multi-organizational logistic processes based on RFID events. We define inter-workflow pattern, and suggest ECA(Event-Condition-Action) rules for auto triggering of logistic processes. To adjust the rules to RFID events, we invent RFID-based ECA rules using complex event. A prototype system has been developed for the purpose of demonstrating the effectiveness of our approach.

It is recent trend that every countries are opening their border in the name of liberalization of contemporary era. Shipping is not exceptional and it used to be said as international business. Therefore, co-operation and openness of maritime sectors between regional countries is required to utilize resources that each countries can manage. It can be done by employing their vessels in other countries' short sea area. However, there are some problems to implement this practices, here cabotage is centre of issue. Each countries do not open their sea in order to protect their national interests in sovereignty. But, it should be opened if co-operation between each countries work well and properly. To achieve true maritime co-operation, countries as Korea, China and Japan in Northeast Asia region should have understanding for the opening of cabotage. In order to make things work well, it can be done by the lessons from EU and American cases. Therefore, it should be clarified such as market scale to provide cabotage trade, employment as well as interested parties, and technical safety matters as well as environmental standards. Then cabotage matters can be smoothly resolved between three countries in Northeast Asia region.

in order to promote e-business in port-logistics area, many studies have been conducted since then. However, despite those studies related to e-business in this area, prominent achievements have not been presented, and moreover, research in academic side have been very rare, compare to toot of practical side. In this paper, we focus on factors affecting adoption of e-business in the field of port-logistics industry. The purpose of this study is to find the factors which affect adoption of e-business in port logistics industry, and establish its structure, based on a cognitive modeling. To achieve the aim of this research, we framed a cognitive map with empirical data collected from port-logistics firms. And from the results of analysis, some critical points for successful adoption of e-business in port-logistics industry were suggested.

다양한 물류분야에 적용되는 RFID 기술이 보다 확산되기 위해서는 RFID 의 정보의 보안이 선행되어야 한다. 본 발표에서는 RFID 기술의 보안의 취약성과 이를 해결할 수 있는 보안 요구사항을 분석하였다. 또한 RFID 보안 기술과 보안 알고리즘 동향을 분석하였다.

물류에서는 재화 또는 정보의 흐름이 매우 중요하다. 그 동안 우리나라에서는 물류시스템을 물리적인 시설로 간주 시설의 공급에만 관심을 기울여 왔다. 그 결과 물류활동을 지원할 수 있을 만한 정보시스템의 구축이 충분히 이루어지지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 화물운송을 위주로 한 화물유통체계의 합리화 방안을 모색하기 위하여 교통부분과 밀접한 연계를 갖는 첨단화물운송체계의 도입효과를 논의하고 Life-Cycle Cost의 개념을 이용하여 첨단화물운송체계의 시스템 대안을 평가하였다. 분석결과 노변 통신시스템을 이용한 시스템의 구성이 중장기적으로 유리한 것으로 평가되었다. 이는 통신비의 부담이 시설의 유지보수비의 부담보다 크기 때문이다. 그러나 노변통신시스템시설은 표준화 등의 문제로 아직 적용에 문제점들이 많으며 낙뢰 등 비용산정에 포함되지 못한 유지보수의 추가비용이 발생할 소지가 크다. 그러므로 교통시설의 특징에 따라 두 접근방식을 혼용하는 방안이 검토되어야 한다.

RFID를 활용하여 기업 공급망의 효율성을 향상하고자 하는 기업들이 늘고 있지만, 이들이 적용할 만한 가이드라인이 부재한 실정이다. 이에 대하여 본 연구에서는 물류/유통산업의 RFID 기반 u-Business 전략계획 방법론을 제시하였다. 본 방법론은 기존의 정보화 전략계획 방법론의 기본 절차를 따라 '도입전략 수립-현행체계 분석-목표체계 수립-통합 이행계획 수립'의 단계(Phase)를 기반으로 하여, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 적용을 위해 기술도입 타당성 분석, 공급망 분석, 목표기업 벤치마킹, Pilot테스트, u-Business 전략계획 평가에 관하여 특화되었다. 제시된 방법론은 기존의 정보화 전략계획 방법론과의 비교를 통하여 타당성을 검증하였다.

RFID 기술은 직접 접촉하거나 가시대역 상에 스캐닝을 할 필요가 없는 장점 때문에 다양한 분야에 활용되고 있으며, 특히 유통 물류분야에 부각을 나타내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 애드 혹 라우팅 프로토콜인 DSR, AODV, CBRP, DSDV 의 특성을 간략히 살펴 본 후, RFID 를 기반으로 하는 물류창고 시스템의 특성을 반영하여, 앞서 언급한 라우팅 프로토콜들을 서로 비교하고, 장단점을 찾아본다.
