This study examines the multi-functionality of the cultural facilities and explores the architectural characteristics of cultural facilities in city environment. For this purpose, 1 examine the major cultural facilities in USA and Singapore. Recently, the inter-cultural communication methods have been diversified and the cultural facilities need to be designed to effectively accommodate the public's interests in these activities. It is also necessary to reexamine cultural facilities' functions in terms of how the multi-functionality facilities reflect the surrounding environment. This study also sheds a new light on the meaning of the relationships between cultural activity, and the cultural facility design. For this, I primarily look at the various design categories of cultural buildings and their main functions. Finally, I demonstrate how both cultural activity and cultural facility design elements are embodied in the city environment.

본 연구는 서양의 과학적 합리적 이성주의에 대한 단절된 동양문화의 상징적 사유체계에 내재된 상상적 환경을 복원하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 상상적 환경을 복원하기 위해 한국 중국 일본의 고대도시인 서울, 북경(北京), 교토(京都) 등을 사례대상지로 선정하였다. 이들 사례도시의 역사 문화경관을 분석하여 상상적 환경요소를 도출하고자 해석학과 현상학적 접근방법을 활용하였다. 동북아시아 삼국(한 중 일)의 역사문화경관 비교와 재해석을 통해 그 속에서 내재된 상상적 환경을 도출한 결과, 각 도시에 내재된 장소의 정신과 자연환경요소가 인문환경요소로 반영되어 구조화되었으며, 개별요소들이 결합하여 조직화되었고, 점진적으로 장소(場所)의 혼(魂)은 더욱 성화(聖化)되었다. 본 연구는 인간생활의 실존적(實存的) 장(場)인 도시공간을 상상적 환경이라는 새로운 개념으로 비교분석한 최초의 시도로서 의의를 가진다. 그러나 동북아시아 삼국의 역사문화경관에 내재된 상상적 환경의 보편성을 확인한 것은 의미가 있으나, 각 도시별 세부적인 요소에 이르기까지 특수성을 밝히는 데는 한계가 있었다.

The meaning of fengshui was another cultural ecological environment in the pre-modern in Korea. Village residents made interrelations with village natural environment by the medium of the geomantic landscape. The functions of cultural ecology through the village fengshui are as follows: the spatial location, the population inflow, the regulation of the community's production or construction or land-use, the adjustment of the environmental carrying capacity, the environmental management, the forming of the collective environmental perception and attitude. Village fengshui is a cultural adaptation strategy to the local environment for the village residents. Fengshui can be evaluated as a traditional cultural ecological way and knowledge system for keeping sustainable village environment in East Asia.

This paper adopts a present basis of research on the Chinese characteristic culture of enterprise, phenomenon of learning, learning attitude and transferring of learning attitude, and forms a research model and hypothesis. There are three different types of Chinese enterprises basined on the research of Chinese intellectuals: legalistic organization, the ethic organization culture and seeking development organization culture, from which the legalistic organization culture has positive influence on the people level learning and structure level learning by the test of hypothesis. Ethnic organizational cultural has positive influence on the organization level; however, it never has any contributions to the people leanings. Seeking development organization culture benefits a lot to the people leanings, but it never has any positive influence on the organizational cultures.

본 연구에서는 건설현장 관계자들을 대상으로 위험인식이 작업환경과 안전문화에 미치는 영향관계를 확인하였다. 또한, 안전관리활동과 공사기간이 안전문화에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 위험인식은 작업환경에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 작업환경은 안전문화에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 안전관리 활동은 안전문화에 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 넷째, 공사기간은 안전문화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 안전관리 활동과 위험인식 간의 상관관계는 r=.61로, 위험인식과 공사기간은 r=.71로 안전관리 활동과 공사기간의 상관관계는 r=.59로 관계의 강도를 확인하였다.

하천의 기능은 공학적 관점에서의 이수, 치수, 환경 기능 외에도 사회적 관점에서 역사 문화 기능을 포함할 수 있다(우효섭, 2009). 1990년대 말부터 하천복원사업이 본격화 되면서 최근에는 하천환경 기능 외에도 친수를 포함한 역사 문화 기능이 하천관리의 주요 축으로 고려되거나 포함되고 있다. 이 과정에서 하천의 역사 문화 기능을 주문하는 요구가 증가한 이유로는 하천복원사업의 지역적 획일화, 친수(심미) 요구 증대, 지역 경제성 제고, 환경(생태, 문화 등) 가치 증대 등 사회경제적 정책적 환경 변화가 기인한 부분이 크다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 볼 때 하천의 지속가능하고 효과적인 관리와 보전을 위한 방안으로 하천의 역사 문화적 요소를 사회 경제적, 생태 환경적 요소와 연계하는 접근방식은 유용할 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 우선적으로 지역공동체가 형성해온 물 문화의 특수성을 감안하여 하천유역의 역사 문화적 소재 및 자원을 발굴할 필요가 있다. 그리고 조사 수집된 다양한 역사 문화적 소재 및 자원은 하천사업 및 관리의 주요 콘텐츠로 활용되기 위한 창출과정을 진행함으로써 사회 경제적, 생태 환경적 요소와 연계할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 하천유역을 대상으로 문헌조사 기반의 사전조사와 심도 있는 현장조사(탐문조사 등) 수행결과를 토대로 향후 하천복원사업에 활용될 수 있는 다양한 역사 문화적 소재와 자원 등에 관한 콘텐츠를 도출하였다. 또한 콘텐츠 활용방안은 하천 역사 문화 자원의 세부적인 콘텐츠를 아우를 수 있는 테마설정을 통하여 대상지 및 지역특성(치수 안전, 지역요구, 물 문화 가치 등) 등을 고려한 방안을 제시하였다. 특히, 친수 측면에서 현재 수변공간을 이용하는 방문자수, 목적(산책, 스포츠, 낚시, 물놀이, 레저 등) 등에 대한 패턴과 지역 인구 현황, 접근 인프라(교통, 이동로, 편의시설 등), 주민 요구도 등 잠재적 친수도는 물 문화 형성이라는 측면에서 볼 때 주요한 고려사항이라 할 수 있다.

The tangible virtual heritage environment employs a tangible interface to increase social interaction and engages user's understanding of cultural heritage with the activities in the virtual environment. Tangible Moyangsung is an tangible virtual heritage environment of a Korean war-defensive castle Moyangsung, and it allows a group of users to collaboratively play the tangible interface for fortifying the broken walls. This paper suggests an overview of cultural meanings behind Moyangsung and represents the details in the design and implementation of the Tangible Moyangsung system. It will also discuss improvements and further research directions.

도시에 인접한 섬마을은 농어촌지역의 섬마을과는 차별화된 해양문화콘텐츠가 필요하나, 섬마을 내 농어업을 영위하는 주민들의 생업 형태는 대부분 유사한 실정임. 본 연구에서는 도시에 인접한 섬마을의 해양공간환경 데이터를 분석하여 실리도만의 특색있는 해양문화콘텐츠 계획안을 제시하고자 함

This study examined how the construction of an environment of culture has affected economic revitalization within the four regions of Seoul. World Cup Stadium, Bookchon, Daehackro, and Seoul Forest were selected for study in consideration of the types and characteristics of cultural environments. The data were collected by questionnaire surveys, which were administered to local residents. The results found an increase in the value of real estate in Seoul Forest while the construction of a culture-based environment had a positive effect on shop sales, the provision of employment opportunities, and the generation of tourist-based income in Daehackro. Using regression analysis, the relative influence of a cultural environment on the value of real estate was greatest on the improvement of local image and the enhancement of cultural enjoyment. The results found that the enhancement of cultural enjoyment was the most prominent predictor of the provision of employment opportunities and an increase in the number of tourists.

Culture is an indispensable element in modern society in improving the quality of life for city dwellers and stimulating the urbanization. The conspicuous emergence of cultural cities, which is a new paradigm, can be understood in that context. Global cities are pursuing cultural cities, and autonomous regions in Korea are also pushing ahead with the urbanization which combines cultural elements. Specifically, Nam-gu of Incheon has set an example of successful cultural city for other autonomous regions. The cultural environmental policy of Nam-gu is deemed to have retained the infrastructure, cultural urban landscape and living space, and a plenty of contents. The real significance of cultural city lies in the pursuit of sustainable urban development as a culture-friendly city. For that, the direction of cultural environmental city has to be firmly set, and related law and system should be strengthened. Above all, it is critical to pursue human-oriented cultural city by showing citizens what roles they have to play, setting the right direction, and improving the partnership.
