A Study on Developing Patterns for Integrated Culture and Arts Education Program in Libraries (도서관에서의 통합형 문화예술교육 프로그램 모형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research are to develop patterns for integrated culture and arts education program in libraries. In order to conduct the research, I analyzed the status of the culture and arts education programs in domestic and U.S. libraries. The basic aim of the culture and arts education program in libraries is based on a nature of the library. I presented the patterns of a integrated culture and arts education programs (experience-understanding-communication). Also, I presented a various culture and arts education programs in based cultural facilities of a region.

A Study on the Classification Scheme of Cultural Resource in ACIA (아시아문화정보원의 문화자원 분류체계 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a plan of classification scheme to efficiently manage the collected cultural resource in Asian Culture Information Agency (ACIA) of Asian Culture Complex. The characteristic and category of the cultural resources are identified after studying objectives and acquisition policies of ACIA. This paper in here compares classification schemes such as HRAF scheme, UNESCO cultural framework, Folklore Archive scheme, and classification scheme of Academy of Korean Studies. On the basis of it, this study proposes the principle and criterion of the new classification scheme in ACIA. The new classification scheme is classified as the cultural, social, and natural area in sequence. The number of main classes is set up 16 items.

  • UNESCO Framework for the Culture Statistics(FCS) is composed of cultural media and cultural activities. It's structure has become a standard and criteria for cultural statistics of the nations in the world. In this paper $\ulcorner$Culture and Arts Statistics in Korea$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$Culture and Arts Statistics of Developed Countries$\lrcorner$ has been analyzed based with FCS, in the respect of the structure and equality of the statistical items in cultural fields. The former has been published rationally through the steps of structural research, producing items and renew the structure, but the latter hasn't. The latter needs the policy to select the nations and research for the cultural structure to apply for them.

  • Interculturalism presents a philosophy for understanding cultural differences in the multicultural era and for resolving various conflicts that may arise from intercultural differences. While multiculturalism focuses on the coexistence of diverse cultures, interculturalism seeks active interaction between different cultures. We study the hit drama <Crash Landing on You> as an example of media literacy for intercultural education. We will discuss cultural differences and interculturalism in dramas, and analyze aspects of intercultural dialogue specifically. Through this, we would like to consider that this drama is an effective media text of intercultural education.

  • 자판기가 있는 곳에 필연적으로 존재하는 게 자판기 문화이다. 자판기문화는 산업과 사회현상, 그리고 자판기와 소비자를 연결하는 고리이자 커뮤니케이션 수단이다. 국내 자판산업이 20년의 역사가 넘어선 지금 자판기문화는 이제 생활 속에 없어서는 안될 중요한 문화의 한 부분으로서 굳건한 자리매김을 하고 있다. 이러한 역할과 위상 증대를 바탕으로 국내 자판기 문화는 21세기를 향해 성큼 발걸음을 내딛고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 금호 특집란에서는 우리 자판기 문화의 현주소를 진단해 보는 시간을 마련하고자 한다. 과연 국내 자판기 문화는 20여년의 자판기 연혁에 걸맞은 성숙도를 자랑하고 있는가? 아울러 21세기를 향한 자판기 문화의 올바른 발전방향은 무엇인지를 집중 조명해 봤다.

  • 우리의 문화담론은 너무 늦었거나 너무 일렀다. 왜 늦었느냐 하면, 그 담론이 '80년대의 목적 의식적 세력이 존재할 당시에 전개되었다면 그 기반 위에서 '90년대 대중문화의 새 동향을 변별할 수 있었을텐데 하는 아쉬움 때문이다. 왜 빨랐느냐 하면, '90년대의 문화담론은 그 현실적 기반을 내생적으로 확보하지 못한 상태에서 무작정 문화상품에 기우는 경향을 보인다는 점에서 그렇다. 오늘날은 문화담론 자체가 대중문화의 소비를 강권하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 마치 정보화 운동이 정보의 소비를 강권하듯이 말이다. 그러나 문화담론이 도전해야 할 대상은 바로 현실이다.

  • 2008년도 인쇄문화대상 수상자가 확정됐다. 대한인쇄문화협회 포상심사위원회는 최근 인쇄문화대상 수상자로 경영부문 대상에 조정석 (주)대원문화사 사장, 기술부문 대상에 이재환 태양씨앤피 사장, 진흥부문 대상에 김상래(주)성도GL 사장, 특별부문 대상에 홍종진 배첩장(무형문화재), 직지상에 한행수 (주)두산인쇄 반장을 선정했다고 발표했다. 시상은 오는 9월 18일 오후 5시 세종문화회관 세종홀에서 열리는 대한인쇄문화협회 창립 60주년 기념식장에서 정부포상과 함께 이루어진다.

  • 최근 많은 콘텐츠들이 생성되면서 리메이크 라는 개념이 중요해 지기 시작했다. 그러면서 주목받았던 것은 문화적 근접성(Cultural Proximity)이다. 하지만 시대가 변함에따라 문화에대한 거부감이 사라지며 글로벌 시대에 도래한 최근에는 문화적 근접성으로서만 리메이크 콘텐츠를 몬의하기에는 부족하다.본 연구는 문화번역이론(cultural translation)을 통해 리메이크 문화콘텐츠를 살펴 보고, 문화번역이론에서 말하듯이 번역이라는 것이 언어적인 것에서만 말할 수 있는 것이 아닌 문화적 차원에서 논의할 수 있다는 것이 가장 큰 핵심이다.

An Exploratory Study on the Legislation of the Right for Cultural Welfare (문화복지의 법적 권리화에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • Cultural welfare is the cultural activity provided and supported by state, a local autonomous entity, and private organizations to improve the quality of people's life. And as a basic concept as well as a premise of discussion on cultural welfare, cultural right is a social right, a right which can make cultural express, gain access to cultural activities. A statue concerning cultural activities contributed to the promotion of our people's cultural welfare interwoven with cultural right. But laws were made for the purpose of enforcing national policy and supporting regime rather than promoting fundamental human rights, and they became effective and were understood as a mere part of national government, not as perspective of their execution, security of right or realization of them. On the other hand, based on laws concerning social welfare, cultural life means human life consisting of minimum welfare system, and minimum level of life which guarantees least cultural life is becoming an objective standard. This means the standard level of cultural right, and for the handicapped cultural rights are concretely guaranteed as a right in that they will not be discriminated for their approaching to cultural activities. However, laws concerning cultural activities have limitation in that there are ambiguous concept and limitation of cultural life, and there are no concrete and active laws about cultural rights to guarantee cultural life. In a constitution and laws concerning social welfare, cultural welfare must have concrete contents about the range and the level of cultural rights. In order cultural rights to be turned into complete ones which can assert its rights, as seen in the Supreme Court, a court has to try to understand the violation of cultural rights as the violation of legal rights.

  • Local culture plays a role in enhancing the cultural competence of citizens by approaching branding from the perspective of brandization by implying value amid changes in local traditions and modern times. Therefore, this study established a research model with brand loyalty, brand recognition, perceived quality, and brand image as dependent variables in order to analyze the impact of local cultural characteristics on cultural brand asset components. We tested the research hypothesis and analyzed it, As local cultural characteristics affect cultural brand asset components, it was found that it is necessary to change the perception of local culture and promote traditional culture. In addition, Yeoju City needs to plan a festival that combines tradition and local culture through the convergence of content and cultural policy for the recognition and brand image of the Yeoju Yeongneung, a World Heritage Site, and it is urgent to change the direction of citizens. In addition, it was found that it is desirable to expand research on the formation of cultural brand assets according to local cultural affinity.
